I sometimes think about men have almost the same rights, body autonomy, freedom in every country while for women life looks so different from country to country or at least from region to region.
In some countries you're forced to cover your head, in others you're prohibited from covering your head and in other countries you can wear/not wear what you want. You can have an abortion in that country but not this one. You can get education, degrees and have paying jobs in most countries but not in others. You can go to a doctor if you need to but there you can't because women aren't allowed to become doctors and women aren't allowed to see a male doctor..
I sometimes think about how shitty the country i live in is but then i think well at least i can get an education and go to a doctor.. i shouldn't have to be grateful for those things..

A 22 year old Iranian protestor is at risk of being sentenced to death. Please share.
22-year old Mohammad Qobadlu has been sentenced to death at his very first trial session, to which the court denied entry to his lawyers, and is imminent danger of execution, according to a video message released by his mother. HRANA reports Qobadlu was tried on Oct. 29 at the Public & Revolutionary Court of Tehran under Judge Salavati on charge of “corruption on earth.” Prosecutors allege he drove a vehicle into motorcycle-mounted law enforcement agents, killing one. Besides the grave due process violations mentioned by Qobadlu’s mother, lawyer Amir Raisian has raised violations and inconsistencies in the case: - No images exist depicting the incident, the collision, or the hospitalization of medical examination of the agents involved -Preliminary reporting did not mention head wounds to officers involved in the collision, but the deceased officer died of a strike to the brain and skull fracture. The extent to which hospital treatment may have contributed to the cranial injury is not mentioned. -The criminal complaint gives the cause of the officer’s death as a car collision, but lawyer Raisian’s sources indicate only a skull fracture - no bodily injuries - was detected. Special force officers typically wear helmets, moreover. -The forensic medical authority ascertained Qobadlu’s mental fitness / sanity only on the basis of his own statements, neglecting letters from prison authorities stating he was mentally “precarious.” -Authorities present at the mourning service for the deceased officer made comments that were “not consistent with the car collision death narrative” said lawyer Raisian.

Iranians Are Fighting Alone and the World Doesn't Care
We hardly get any news coverage in the mainstream media. The only people taking to the streets, approaching politicians, and making posts are Iranians. Social media platforms (including you, @staff) are not giving us the attention we deserve or have contributed to the suppression of our voices. All major governments and organizations in the world (i.e., the EU and UN) have not made a substantial change in their relationships with the regime and are even making diplomatic overtures to them. The best anyone does is offer their equivalent of "thoughts and prayers" whenever another execution happens. It's as if everyone is ignoring us. The world has turned its back on us.

I had to to delete my posts about Iran's protests, but I beg you all, please don't stop being those innocent people's voice!
Everyday, government is killing protesters, even minors and kids in the streets!
This is not fair!
You were lucky to born in a safe geography, so be the voice of the people who weren't. Be the voice of brave Iranian who are standing before bullets with bare hands to gain their freedom back!
Women, Life, Freedom.
Say her name, #MahsaAmini

The mother of Mahsa Jina Amini, a 22-year-old woman whose killing in Iranian state custody sparked months of anti-state protests in Iran, has called on Iranians to "raise their voice against oppression" on the anniversary of Jina's death.

I want people to know what is going on in Iran at the moment, they are killing young girls at schools.
They are using Carbon Monoxide to attack girls high schools in Qom.
More than 200 teenage girls have been poised and are currently hospitalized.
If you don't know what Carbon Monoxide is, it's a deadly gas.
And they are not giving any explanation about it, not to their parents nor to the media.
I have a friend who lives in Qom (where it's happening) and when I asked her about it, she wasn't talking about it. She just told me, she is not going to school anymore and she can't talk about what's happening in their schools.
People want to know why gas poisoning is only happening to girls' school and not for boys' school. And why only high schools?

UPDATE: they started attacking schools in other cities too. There are rumors the reason for these attacks is that they are trying to stop girls from going to school.

HELP STOP EXECUTIONS IN IRAN
Tumblr media
The numbers are rising. They are using executions as a tactic to frighten the people and stop the protests. Be their voice. For anyone living in G7 countries, please urge your representatives to talk about the executions in Iran, bring attention to it in their parliament and in the UN. These students do not deserve death; they are heroes. They need to be saved.

He is about to be executed for supporting women’s rights in Iran. So far, the Iranian Regime HAS suspended executions for people who have received enough attention internationally. Please sign this petition , it DOES make a difference. The more we share about Iran, the more we have a chance of saving someone’s life.

⚠️ACTUALLY IMPORTANT⚠️ ⚠️LIVES AT STEAK⚠️
Please talk about this any way you can, these are victims of Iran's government. These people are going to be executed. I know I can't do much with my platform but I'm trying to get the message out there, please spread this! I don't care how, people need to here about this.
You on the internet already saved two people, one of them has already been executed, we don't have much time.
For everyone expecting cryptid content will get more eventually, but for now please spread the word!!
Use the hash tags, tell people, make posts, just do something, lives of people are in your hands. That could've been you if you were just born in a different place.
So please, help these people get a merry Christmas too
My next post will include more ways to help. Please act quickly, and bring justice to iran.
And to Majidreza Rahnavard, I'm so sorry you had to go like this. I wish him and his family well.

The Revolution Continues
Following up on my post from yesterday and @luminalunii97's amazing addition to it, the revolution in Iran has been going on for 40+ years. Even at times where there seemingly was a lull, it was always brewing in one way or another; Mahsa Amini's death was just the point of no return. Even in the absence of protests, acts of civil disobedience and activism from Iranians living both in Iran and abroad have made it clear that this revolution has reached a fever pitch and can never be quelled. Just last night, a major protest took place at the birthday celebration of Hamidreza Rouhi, one of the protesters killed by the regime back in November.
So, no, the people of Iran HAVE NOT given up hope; we're in it for the long run. Anyone who says anything to the contrary is either ill-informed or someone spreading propaganda...
