If you guys haven't heard what's going on in Iran recently, please start paying attention. The corrupt Iranian government is killing innocent protestors, protesting the unjust murder of Mahsa Amini, among others. Tyrannical governments such as this have no place in the modern world. Please...reblog this to show your support in the fight against tyranny, and make sure these women didn't die in vain.

Cassandra Benefield writes I Stand with the Women of Iran: ‘Women, Life, Freedom’ after attending a panel at Eastern Washington University.
"How do I write something that has any meaning in response to the brave actions of thousands of bold and fearless women fighting for their freedom in Iran? Many of whom imprisoned or killed for it?
How do I begin to empathize with a situation that I cannot even imagine going through?
I don’t know, but I want to try."

The oppressor can always count on those, among the oppressed, who do not want freedom. Who would rather live under tyranny. Because tyranny is safer for them. They fear being able to choose what they want to do, because they, deep down, fear themselves. So they hand over their lives to a master, their thoughts and actions dictated for them. In this prison of the soul, they feel safe. Having a voice, not backing down, is far too difficult. This means they must also shut down any dissension by those who will not comply to the wicked and the corrupt. There can be no reminder that there is an alternative to self-imposed imprisonment. This is a video of a woman who does not want to wear the mandatory hijab and is arguing with a regime prosecutor. The more the Islamic Republic tries to control women, the harder Iranian women fight back. This is the revolution called

Happy New Year all! 🥳🎉🎊 This New Year, I am thinking of the brave people of Ukraine, many of whom are spending this New Year's Eve in the dark and cold. Slava Ukraini, may there be victory in 2023. I am also thinking of the women of Iran and their incredible courage, may they triumph over oppression.
In 2023, may light win over darkness. Dona nobis pacem. Love to all.
