Image description: A black and white illustration, designed to look like a book cover. On a decorative ribbon, the title at the top reads “External Memory”. A scroll work border of leaves and flowers divides the illustration into three rounded panels. The largest panel is in the center and shows a caravan surrounded by greenery, puddles and potted plants. The two smaller panels beneath it show a cartoon cat and mouse respectively, facing each other. At the bottom is another decorative ribbon with the text “a diary comic by My Murphy”. After the cover follows an 8 page comic. The style is cartoonish and the colours are soft pastels. Page one: An orange cat waves and says “Hello! I’m My.” The cat holds up a white mouse and says “This is Mouse, my girlfriend.” Caption: My name is actually My, but Mouse is a nickname for comic and privacy purposes. Caption: When I started this project, me and Mouse lived on a little island off the Swedish coast. The panel shows a stylised, tiny island with a lighthouse, spruce and birch trees, leaning houses and a little dock with a row boat tied to it. The cat and mouse are standing on the cliffs and a swan floats on the water in the foreground. Page two: Caption: Now we’ve moved to Ireland where we live in a caravan in the middle of nowhere. A small caravan, surrounded by greenery, overgrown trees, rocks, puddles and potted plants. The caravan has two windows and the cat and the mouse are looking out of one window each. Caption: We lived on the island to be close to my family. A ribbon with writing on it separates and labels four characters: “mom”, an ermine, “dad”, a wolverine, “brother”, a marmot and “step mom”, a squirrel. The ribbon has been torn in between “mom” and “dad”. Caption: and we moved to Ireland to be close to Mouse’s family. Three characters are shown, each with their own ribbon label. “mother-in-law”, a deer, “sister-in-law”, a jack russell terrier and “brother-in-law”, a hedgehog. Page three: Caption: Me and the mouse are currently in our thirties. The cat lounges on an antique fainting couch and the mouse sleeps on a cushion on the floor. On the floor is an open bag of “let’s” crisps and a laptop. Caption: We’re both pretty decrepit in various ways, so for this comic I draw couches and beds as often as I draw people. Caption: Disability isn’t especially interesting to me, but if a fish made an autobiographical comic… A fish under water paints a four panel comic with a brush held in its mouth. The panels the fish has painted show bubbles, waves and splashing water. Caption: …it’d probably be partly about water, whether the fish cared about water or not. Page four: Caption: My memory has always been pretty crappy. If a friend asks me: “do you remember when...” The question is shown asked by a red robin Caption: I usually have to answer: “no, I don’t.” The panel shows the cat giving this answer while looking away and blushing. Caption: There are many things in my life I’d like to remember. Mom the ermine watches as the cat opens a Christmas gift in front of a Christmas tree. The cat is much smaller than usual, its tail is bushy with excitement and it holds up a big book, “Mort”, with a skull on the cover. Caption: This comic is my EXTERNAL MEMORY so I can capture some of those moments… The cat admires a butterfly hovering above its outstretched paw Caption: …great or small. Page five: Caption: I try to make one strip per day, give or take. Pages with dates written on them blow off of a daily wall calendar by a strong breeze. As they turn over, comic pages are revealed to be drawn on the back. One comic shows the mouse with long fangs, biting the face of the cat and then hissing behind a bat wing. One comic is a pastiche of Tim Buckley’s “Loss” comic and one features a portrait of Frasier Crane and the Seattle skyline. Caption: and on the days when nothing interesting happens A close up shows the cat’s paw drawing a comic panel. In this panel a smaller, rounder version of the cat runs happily in the sunshine carrying a backpack. Caption: I reach back and draw something from my past. Caption: If you read this comic and wonder: A coyote looks at the comic on its phone, strokes its chin suspiciously and asks “did that really happen?” Caption: the answer is always yes. Caption: If you read this comic and wonder: A monkey reads the comic in zine form and think “did they really say that?” Caption: the answer is usually yes. Page six: Caption: When a specific phrase is the point of the strip, it’s recorded verbatim. The mouse says “you’re marching to the beat of the potato drum.” Caption: is a direct quote. Caption: When the point is something else, I sometimes take small liberties to make the memory fit well inside four panels. The cat sits at its drawing table, holding a pair of scissors in one hand and a paper with two comic panels in the other. Caption: Usually that means I make myself or the mouse play the part of the straight man because it will improve a joke. The cat and the mouse, dressed as clowns, stand in a circus tent. The cat pulls the clown nose from the mouse’s face and holds up a pie, ready to strike. Caption: In reality, neither of us is much of a straight man, but all art demands some sacrifices. Caption: In every way that matters, this comic always tells the truth. The cat looks up at a large, glowing, winged sphinx statue version of itself. The statue and framing is a reference to the all knowing Southern Oracle from the film adaptation of “The Neverending Story”. Caption: I am doing this to aid my memory after all, so it wouldn’t be very helpful to make my life seem more funny, interesting or relatable than it really is. The cat draws a comic while watching paint dry on the wall. Caption: That would be a pretty cruel joke to play on my future, more confused self. The cat scratches its head at a drawing of themselves as the winner of a beauty contest, wearing a sash and crown, waving to the crowd and holding flowers. Caption: She’ll probably have enough to contend with… The cat looks suspiciously at its own reflection in the mirror, not recognising it. The drawing is a pastiche of a panel from the webcomic “Gunshow” by KC Green. Caption: Maybe some of my comics will be funny or interesting or relatable to you anyway. That would make me very happy. The cat smiles and presses its paws to its face in joy, seeing that a bear and a horse are reading the comic together and laughing. Cartoon hearts float over the cat. Caption: Some of the comics probably won’t do much for anybody but me, but that’s okay too. The cat presses a page of the comic to its chest, looking contented and protective. In the last panel, the cat and the mouse are floating on air with a blue sky and white clouds behind them. The cat is smiling and twirling around, holding a paint brush out like a wand. From the brush flows paint that swirls around the two figures and making shapes of green leaves and orange and yellow flowers. On two looping blue ribbons appear the last captions: This is a record of my silly little life. Good or bad, I’m glad I get to share it. End ID.
Here’s a little introduction to External Memory! It was fun to make a proper neat and full colour comic - it’s been a while ^^
(If you like this project, please reblog this post! You can also subscribe to my patreon where I post one comic every day ^^)

both frasier and hannibal aired on nbc which i think means if frasier had stayed on the east coast instead of moving to washington he 100% would have been eaten by hannibal lecter. really there is no chance he would’ve made it like haughty psychiatrist with expensive taste and an interest in opera are you kidding? hannibal meets him at the opera and they become weird psychiatrist friends for 2 days before frasier makes some bumbling impolite misstep and then totally unrelated hannibal invites esteemed dr. niles crane across the country to have dinner and discuss a recent publication….. this is MY design actually

Top 10 Sitcom Daddies
#10. Bill Cosby as Cliff Huxtable on The Cosby Show
Tumblr media
I remember having a huge boner for Cosby, but lost it way before the rape allegations came out. That being said, I still had to put Cliff Huxtable on the list.
#9. John Mahoney as Martin Crane on Frasier
Tumblr media
I had fantasies helping Martin out with his 'therapy'. And it only got better when found out Mahoney was gay in real life.
#8. Kurtwood Smith as Red Forman on That 70s Show
Tumblr media
I had fantasies of Red angry fucking me in the basement. And when I'm not him, I'm hitting Donna's dad too. Plus Kitty would have gotten a taste too. What? Still bi.
#7. Ed O'Neill as Jay Pritchett on Modern Family
Tumblr media
I know everybody loves Eric Stonestreet, but Ed O'Neill as Jay Pritchett could get me anytime he wanted. And when he's done, I'd slid over and hit Sofía Vergara. Again, still bi.
#6. John Goodman as Dan Conner on Roseanne
Tumblr media
Let me clearify, John Goodman as Dan Conner on Roseanne. Not John Goodman as Dan Conner on The Connors. What? More pushing for the cushion.
#5. Alex Karras as George Papadapolis on Webster
Tumblr media
I remember loving this show as a kid. And Karras would have me loving for whole different reason.
#4. Mark Addy as Bill Miller on Still Standing
Tumblr media
This show helped my developing lust for Mark.
#3. Ed O'Neill as Al Bundy on Married with Children
Tumblr media
Why do I have Ed twice on this list. As much as I like Ed as Jay Pritchett, it's Al Bundy who I'd be imagining dicking me down. Plus, I'm doing Peg too.
#2. Carroll O’Connor as Archie Bunker on All in the Family
Tumblr media
Looking at Carroll sitting in that chair with his legs crossed was hot. Thick thighs does that to me.
#1. Tom Bosley as Howard Cunningham (Mr C) on Happy Days
Tumblr media
There something about Tom walking around in those suits and him always being frisky.

OC NEW YEAR'S CHALLENGE — Day Six: In With The New
Evie Young would never have moved to America if it wasn't for her most recent breakup. After all, back in London, she had seemed to have it all - a thriving radio talk show centered around giving advice on love, a (seemingly) loving boyfriend, and a wealthy past that allowed her to have a sense of fashion that regularly landed her mentions in the papers, she seemed to have it all - until it was revealed to her, through a gossip tabloid no less, that boyfriend had been caught just outside a nightclub with his tongue down another woman's throat.
Forced to endure a relatively public breakup and mocked by multiple forms of English media - after all, how good at giving relationship advice could she be if she couldn't even keep her own relationship together? - Evie makes the decision to leave London and her old life behind, accepting an offer to start a new show on love advice from a station in Seattle. Despite the scandal that follows her into this new life she's trying to build for herself, Evie's new show, Love on the Air, is a smashing hit among Seattle radio listeners - especially because, as an openly bisexual woman, Evie is the only radio personality in the nation providing love advice to queer and straight people alike.
Despite her reputation, both as a rich English socialite running from her troubles back home and a spurned lover, Evie is also able to quickly make friends among her new colleagues - especially with radio psychologist Dr. Frasier Crane, who enjoys the finer things in life just as much as she does, and Roz Doyle, whom Evie admires for her boldness and refusal to let anything bother her. Through this friendship with Frasier, Evie also becomes acquainted with his younger brother Niles... who makes the most endearing awkward jokes and smiles at Evie in a way she's never been smiled at before.
With everything that happened with her ex back in London, Evie is a bit reluctant to trust anyone who seems interested in her, despite telling the callers on her show every day to do the exact opposite. But perhaps with a little bit of time - and no insignificant amount of pushing from Roz and Frasier's very determined live-in healthcare worker - Evie may be able to both talk about love on the air and find it again outside of her radio booth.
Let's not do out with the old, but we could certainly do in with the new. For day six, introduce a brand new oc or story you hope to be your newest muse for 2024.
General Taglist: @hiddenqveendom, @auxiliarydetective, @foxesandmagic, @artemisocs, @reyofluke-ocs, @endless-oc-creations, @stanshollaand, @ginevrastilinski-ocs, @luucypevensie, @carmens-garden, @arrthurpendragon, @fakedatings, @impales, @claryxjackson, @dancingsunflowers-ocs, @eddysocs, @lucys-chen, @oneirataxia-girl, @ocappreciationtag.

"Something Approaching a Normal Life"
(Fictober, Day 10)
Prompts from @agent-troi ("Scully invites Mulder to Thanksgiving dinner because it’s close to the anniversary of Samantha’s disappearance and she doesn’t want him to be alone" and "Mulder and Scully try to plan and host a dinner party, inspired mainly by the comedy of errors that is the dinner party episode of frasier...") and one of my sisters ("October in Christmas", "Thanksgiving", and "Signs the movie".)
*****
Mulder had another thing coming if he thought he could squizzle out of a foolhardy trip to the Bermuda Triangle with nothing more than a healthy bruise and a sweet word or two.
Although-- truthfully-- the blame lay more with his loopy bedside confession than any earlier, clear-headed, ill-advised action.
*****
“Thanksgiving?”
Scully shifted her stance, heels rocking as she folded her arms a little tighter. “Yes.”
“With your family?”
This time she focused on the bullpen carpet, lisping out a softer, “...Yes.”
Mulder didn’t know what to say. Everything seemed too polite or too ungrateful.
“I know we don’t usually….”
There were a lot of things they didn’t usually, but holidays were high on the list. And considering the batch of Thanksgivings they’d experienced, always apart-- last year jumping straight from a botched team building seminar into small town shenanigans, the year before that caught up with Krycek and Congress, the year before that strung tight between secrets and diseases carted around in explosive train cars, and their first ever one nearly spent in volcanic quarantine-- broaching him to celebrate this one was…
Unexpected.
"Are you... sure, Scully?"
“Mulder….” Scully stepped a little closer, craning her head back further. Utterly baffled. “Are you… shy?”
Sometimes he forgot that his five-foot-almost-nothin’ partner had his number from day one. “I think a better word would be hesitant. And,” he rushed on, “not without precedent.”
She was smiling too smugly for him to continue pursuing whatever point he was trying to make. “Christmas in October didn’t count then, Mulder, and it doesn’t now.”
“‘Well, that’s another opinion--’,” he mush-mouthed.
“‘And I respect it’, yeah.” Scully leaned even more forward, eyebrow pushing its customary way up. “Are you coming to Mom’s party, or do I have to tell her that you refused a personal invitation to sit at home in the dark?”
Maggie Scully already knew about his lonely, isolated couch nights-- far more than Scully herself was aware.
Mulder couldn't bring himself to ruin her Thanksgiving, too.
*****
Twelve hours later he and Scully were setting out dinnerware while studiously trying to ignore the escalating toddler meltdowns howling behind them.
Her mother's house was packed, sardines of all shapes and sizes amiably chatting, swapping stories, or helpfully guiding the endless schools of Catholic children with admonishments and head pats (though he was amused to notice which cross wearers scowled at each other over unspoken but blatantly different opinions on birth control.) It had been subdued, pleasant even: Bill hadn’t taken the easy Mulder bait, Tara had darted here and there after Matthew, and various faces swam curiously in and out of their bubble to acquaint and chit chat. It had been easy to navigate strange waters-- Mulder kept an aquarium at home, after all.
The problem started when one little tyke fell backwards against his sister or cousin (or an unholy mix of the two), a loud smack resounding mere seconds before both burst into tears. Then the other children got caught in the emotional tow; and the chaos spilled over until most of the room was either screaming or consoling.
Scully practically fled the scene, Mulder following in her wake. And now they were setting an already set table together.
When everyone's emotions began to settle and calm, Scully apologetically sighed. He waited, knowing there was more.
“‘Christmas in October’.” She ruefully smiled. “How do we do it?”
“It’s part of the job-- the unexplained finds us.” Neither mentioned there wasn’t much unexplained in their current scutwork. “But…” he paused, letting her sweat a bit, “despite a few…”
“‘Unexplained’ things,” she filled in, flatly.
“--happenings--,” he supplied. She snorted at his exhaustless ability to grab for the last word; and he rewarded it with a soft shoulder tap. “--I’ve been having a whale of a time.”
*****
The post-turkey tryptophanic haze loosened up Mulder's subconscious mind enough to make a few gnarly connections.
Tomorrow, November 27, 25 years. Black Friday.
He looked across the room, locked onto Scully’s eyes and waited until she met his. They immediately confirmed his suspicions-- a good liar his partner was not-- and blinked with indecision, one lash closing faster than the other. But it never took Scully long to recover her footing: she let something like pride (and a sentiment that matched his black and blue cheek) take shape and sparkle at him before ducking away.
Mulder knew her own haunted holiday was coming up soon, ghosts hovering around every corner. He’d have to find a way to return the favor.
“Who ya gonna call?" he sang under his breath. "Ghostbusters!”
Bill, walking by with three of the messiest children over five Mulder had ever seen, scowled at him.
Muzzily, he decided relaxing via tryptophan might work if the tv ever went kaput.
*****
Maggie packed her favorite invite two large to-go containers (one filled almost exclusively with sweet potato pie) and waved off his half-hearted volunteers to clean up. “Fox, I wouldn’t dream of having a guest help out. And Dana’s your ride home, so you two better get going.”
Taking one last look at the aftermath, Mulder understood now why his mother had kept celebratory dinners intimate or large gatherings outside during respectable daylight hours.
He drove on renewed energy from his doze while Scully picked at something she called a cheerio salad and he called a marketing gimmick.
“You know, Scully…” he mused, waiting for her assenting hum, “I think tonight went well.”
“In what world,” she scowled, digestive funk breath spilling towards him in a huff.
“Nothing bad happened. No major damage was done. I even have a fan club.”
“Mulder, Uncle Moses taking one look at you, running over, and having the nerve to be naively disappointed that ‘the jury’s still out’ on your ancestry does not even begin to cover tonight.”
“And then he sat for thirty minutes listening to swamp monster stories."
"He thought you starred in a nonexistent movie called 'Signs', Mulder."
"What I mean, Scully, is that there were good people tonight. Good food, even. Better than my usual fair. It was-- it was nice. Thanks for inviting me over.”
Mulder suspected she was smiling, widely, relieved and touched. “Any time, Mulder.”
*****
Over the holiday weekend, he got a call from Area 51.
Christmas plans would have to wait.
*****
Thank you for reading~
Enjoy!

Harringrove 90s au/Frasier crossover
Tw for: implied panic attack, implied depression, mental health themes, implied dark-ish/teensy bit angsty, era-appropriate sexuality stereotyping
It's 1994 and Steve is a mover and shaker in the hot, hot, hot real estate market of the Seattle metropolitan area. Finding a slump in his mood and a slow in his lunch hour between daily showings, Steve begins calling in to a popular local radio show on KACL for an emotional pick-me-up with radio personality and psychiatrist, Dr. Frasier Crane.
At first Steve is just a passive listener, but after hearing first hand during his lengthy commutes, how this soothsaying guru can calm and put the pep back in his caller's days Steve gives him a call.
"I dunno Doc, I just don't have that spark anymore..." He sighs into his cellular phone from the driver's seat of his year-model Buick. "Y'know what I mean? Like, it felt like everything was in my grasp and now it's just..." He grumbled in frustration.
The psychiatrist chuckled warmly through the phone line, "well Steve, a lot can change a man over time. When would you say you last felt that spark?"
Steve looked out the car window, caramel eyes reflecting upon the Puget Sound but his mind seeing the soft rolling hills and shallow valleys of central Indiana. Thoughts settling over gentle golden curls waving in the breeze.
"Steve? Are you still with us?" The radio host coaxed.
Steve opened his eyes, the vision fading from view. "Yeah. I'm here..."
Steve progressively becomes a regular call-in. Sharing more overtime about how he left behind 'a special someone' and how he regrets and second guesses so much about his life because of it. Thinking "if only I'd stayed. If only I'd told them how much they really meant to me". Feeling that his life really doesn't amount to much because of the decisions he made, or didn't... in the past. The radio host's producer, Roz, begins an unofficial fan club for Steve. Cheering him on, and giving him small pep talks each time he is in the call queue to talk with Dr. Crane. "Hey kid, how's it going today? How'd that date go? She sounded real nice! Things'll look up!"
Approximately a year later, Billy moves to Seattle picking up a transfer from his employer, hoping that working for the company's flagship will help him climb the pay scale faster. And leave the local union politicking and small-town, big-ego dickwads in his rearview mirror.
Things have improved somewhat for Billy over the years but it's still not great, and he seeks the services of a local psychiatrist, Dr. Niles Crane. Billy works with Dr. Crane to unpack and explore how his past experiences may have influenced his "current level of functioning", or so Dr. Crane says. They do a lot of daydreaming, picturing, and hypothetical scenarios that Billy sometimes despises and other times finds amusing. He also finds Dr. Crane's neurotic disposition rather endearing and thus decides to remain a loyal patient for the time being.
Cut to Billy's third month living in Seattle when it happens. He suffers a major setback. Calling Dr. Crane's emergency number in a panic. He can't breathe, he's hyperventilating and speaking so frantically that Dr. Crane can hardly understand him.
"Billy, you sound so terribly upset. I know that we discussed rather hefty themes in session this week. What's going on?" Dr. Crane's chittery voice spoke, encompassing the gravity of the moment.
"Him..." Billy gulped down air, his throat dry and lungs burning. "I saw him today. He was never supposed to be here." Billy moaned in distress.
"Take a breath Billy, and one, two, three, four, five. Out." His psychiatrist prompted him. "This is highly unusual indeed. I can understand now why you are so concerned." The sound of papers rustled on the other end of the phone. "Billy, would you like to come in sooner?"
A shaken exhale, "Yes."
Meanwhile somewhere else in Seattle Steve is the brightest he's been in years. He practically feels like he could walk on air. He has to share this, so he calls in.
"Doc the most amazing thing has happened!" Steve is beaming ear to ear. "Well, Steve it certainly sounds stupendous with that tone! Let's hear the good news!" His radio therapist encourages.
"I saw them!" Steve gushes. "Them! The special someone I told you about. They're here in Seattle. Now's my chance! I gotta tell them!" Dr. Crane smiles, "Ah, serendipity... Steve, you must take her while she is still yours."
Steve didn't quite understand the doctor's point but he appreciated the sentiment. "Thanks, Doc. Y'know I'm gonna look 'em up. Take them to a nice dinner. Make things right this time." Dr. Crane clapped his hands together, "Steve that's a lovely idea! And might I be so bold as to suggest that you consider taking your special someone to La Belle Gourmande? The ambiance is divine... and the prices aren't half bad either."
Two nights later Steve was sitting at the restaurant, nervously drumming his fingers on the table, his eyes flitting up every time a person walked by. He was tense, feeling suffocated in the crispest white button down he owned. Fidgeting with undoing the second button from the top and then redoing it. He couldn't afford to screw this up, the phone call had already been botched.
It took some effort, randomly dialing the number of a familiar name in the Seattle area, but luckily not many people had the same name as his 'special someone'. When their voice came over the line and Steve heard it for the first time in nearly a decade, he choked. Couldn't even utter a "hello". "Who's this? Fucking answer or I'm hanging up." In an all out rush Steve replied.
"-lo!'s Steve! youwannagetdinner ...'n catch up?" he rushed out in a frazzle.
The other end of the line was silent for a beat, the tension broken with a soft chuff.
"Ketchup?" the voice asked bemused, followed by another pause. "Where?"
Squinting at his messily scrawled note taped to the cabinet, Steve replied, "this place owned by some Belle lady. Comes highly recommended."
There was a pause. "Steve... this can't be -"
"Please come," Steve begged.
As Steve waits for his 'special someone' to show, a certain radio personality ducks into a corner booth and picks up a menu, Dr. Frasier Crane. He has become so invested in his caller's well-being that he has come to the restaurant to watch Steve from afar. To root for him, and watch his little bird spread its wings and fly. Or so it would seem.
"Frasier? What on earth are you doing here?" Dr. Crane looks up from his crooning over his 'patient', his eyes panic-stricken and caught. "Niles?" His brother, the younger Dr. Crane is also here.
Frasier's eyes dart to the menu for a saving excuse, "It's the soup du jour Niles," he deflects craftily, "everyone knows the Gourmande has the best Soupe au Pistou on the western seaboard." Niles rolls his eyes and follows Frasier's worried gaze over to the young man at a nearby table. "That may be true Frasier, but I believe you are here for more than just soup." Frasier sniffs indignantly about to snap out a reply when Niles hastily takes up the opposite seat in his booth and hides his face behind a menu.
Frasier cranks an eyebrow high and looks at his brother accusingly. "And pray tell what fare Provençal brought you to dine here?" he moons sarcastically. Niles peers over the edge of his menu at the other table, as a blonde man arrives. Frasier gasps dramatically and shields himself behind his menu as well.
"Mouchard!" Frasier hisses at his brother treacherously. Niles looks back at him unamused and replies, "says the snoop, snooping." They exchange glares and peek over their menus to watch the scene unfold.
Steve abruptly bumps the table, standing up quickly the minute he sees them. Him. The blonde. He can't help but smile, his chest is aching, fully flooded with a torrent of emotions.
"I don't understand," Frasier says in confusion, looking at Niles and then back over the menu. Niles looks over his menu, eyebrow cocked, "What?" "He talked as if... well... his 'special someone' was..." Frasier was fumbling uncomfortably with his words and reasoning. "You thought Billy was a woman?" Niles completed. Frasier winced, "Steve never said he loved a man. I just assumed..."
They both peered over again. "Assumptions get us nowhere Frasier. They leave us to speak for others in spaces we don't know. Only they know their truth." Frasier nodded slowly, the information sinking in. "Too right you are Niles. I was wrong to presume Steve's path to a whole self was like my own."
Billy sat down, followed by Steve, he seemed anxious, his eyes wandering all over the room, causing the two psychiatrists to duck and cower several times, lest they be discovered.
Steve called over a waiter and they ordered drinks. As the night began to unfold a certain ease settled over the pair like a familiar blanket, warm and comforting. Softly exchanged touches of hands, and lingering smiles arrived in greater frequency than the refillable bread basket, with feet sliding across one another under the tablecloth and resting calf-to-calf.
"Well Frasier, I think our worst fears have been allayed." Niles injected into the hour. "We weren't needed." Frasier smiled proudly, "I think you're right Niles. Would you care for un repas de fin de nuit?" Niles rose from the table, "Après-vous."
As the pair of brothers exited the restaurant Billy and Steve looked up, "Who do you think those guys were?" Steve asked curiously, "They were kinda loud. Seemed really interested in us..." Billy sighed, dropping his fork to his plate, "The twiggy one was my shrink. No fuckin clue who the other guy was though."
Steve looked at Billy mildly concerned, "You have a shrink?" Billy nodded wiping his mouth with the napkin. "Yeah, Dr. Crane." Steve watched the pair as they waited for the valet to bring their car. "The Dr. Crane that has the radio show?" Billy shook his head, "No that's his brother..."
Steve slumped in his seat taking a long drink from his glass, as Billy swiped the final bite of gateau.

Frasier Falling For A Patient Of His Would Include
Tumblr media
Even from your first call with him, Frasier finds you intriguing. Your conversation piqued Frasier's interest beyond a professional level and Roz has to cut the call short to keep him from monopolizing the show with just you.
He thinks about the call for days, wishing he knew how to speak with you again, despite the fact that he shouldn’t cross that boundary.
Then you call in to the show again the next week, and your vulnerability and openness when speaking with him draws him in even more.
Frasier's growing feelings for you create quite the internal conflict, as he grapples with his ethical obligations as a therapist. Roz advises against it, but gets your number for him.
When you meet in person, things only get more complicated. His advice helps you, and he uses that to justify continuing seeing you in both a professional and personal sense.
Frasier's attraction to you continues to intensify, and he eventually has to acknowledge his feelings. Then he debates whether he should disclose these feelings to you and risk losing you as both a patient and a potential love interest.
Ultimately, Frasier chooses to confide in you and you share his feelings, telling him that you always saw him more as a friend than a therapist anyhow and that you’d like to pursue a relationship with him.
