i love rust
i hate tomato
#eye guy speaks#eye guy plays fr#this is about fr colors. btw#these facts started all the way back in 2013#rust is the color i picked for my progen's primary#(though it's kind of hidden now bc his tert is stained LOL)#and my love of it was partially fostered by my dislike of tomato. since theyre color wheel neighbors#and vice versa#im not actively looking for new dragons bc i have too many to gene rn#but earlier i happened across a g1 for sale with a rust tert#and i thought. ok. i will look at some scrys. for the rust#and now i have another dragon to gene 🙄#(the rust will be contour so not super noticeable but it really does add a lot ok)#AND just so we're clear i do like real actual tomatoes. tasty

Funniest Possible "Parents" for Tarn/Damus/Glitch that ignores timelines and ages and reproduction for amusement.
MegOP, classic, divorced, Optimus originally had custody until Megs got him and he wound up hating both by the end. Especially in TFP.
ShockOP, tragic, Orion Pax got custody his sugar daddy's kids when he mysteriously vanished, and one of them decided to join a group dedicated to destroying the government that erased Shockwave. The "your aren't my dad vibes are imaculate".
Rodiclash, the absolutely funniest reason for Damus to have originally been those colors. Also, making him younger and the baby of the DJD is hilarious conceptually. Also he's personal grudge against Thunderclash is a mistaken thought on Hot Rod's part that Thunderclash ran out on them when in reality his eveil second in command hid it leading to the break up and Roddie becoming a single parent. If he's father is "the Greatest Autobot Ever" clearly being and Autobot isn't worth much. The Lost Light is the Daddy Issue onion.
Minimus x OG Ultra Magnus, the absolute regency drama aesthetics of this and the shock and reveal would be great, and both Tarn and Minimus would be hilarious to deal with this emptionally strained revelations. Dominus pegging Tarn as his nephew and kidnapping him because he did the math and "who fucked his little brother, ran out on him, and lead to this"? Suddenly that summer abroad makes sense. Funnier if original Ultra Magnus is alone and Dominus highjacks the DJD to track him down and have a family reunion while the DJD awkwardly tries to be supportive and are confused why Vos is so murderous. Minimus, meanwhile, is having a tearful reunion with the child he gave up for adoption, thinking he'd have a better life only to find out his life wasn't great while Tarn is going through all sorts of emotions and tears up as well. Vos meanwhile has cornered Ultra Magnus saying "he just wants to talk." Adds an interesting layer to Minimus's thing with Ultra Magnus.

RodiSound, Cyberverse. Everyone trying to figure out how to tell the mourning Rodimus, he's widow baby with Soundwave looks just like a miniature version of the guy who tried to take over Cybertron.

The idea of Minimus having known the original UM has interesting implications and symbolism considering what goes down later on, and I am also gifted the idea of beastformer!Tarn who would be beautiful. Dominus would have such an interesting role in it too. Yesss.
IT WOULD BE HILARIOUS FOR TFP MAGS TO SHOW UP WITH A SILLYGOOFY BOYTOY AND A MILDLY EVIL BABY.
Having Damus/glitch/Tarn as a Cyberverse Soundrod baby would be mildly hilarious because you can argue he explicitly named this kid after the guy who tried to kill them all out of spite. You can argue for reincarnation here considering how it was Soundwave that took Cyberverse Tarn out of the world, and you can argue that it was Soundwave and Rodimus who proceeded to bring him back into it. raise him right this time.
Another suggestion: tfp wavewave child Tarn. He's their passion project in so many ways of the word.
aNOTHER SUGGESTION: earthspark Glitch/Damus who was adopted/fostered by Megatron for a while. We follow with my one idea where his design is more like his "Glitch" era design but a little more eldritch

A) g3 concept
this motherfucker. is a Big One. MANY thoughts on it, still trying to iron out some of it. heavily based on g1 but with g2 elements that are nice/interesting to me specifically Such As the mask making via elements deal, ekimu, and the okoto setting. i am Cramming As Much Mostly Relevant G1 Things In This As Possible. includes all main toa teams so mata, metru and inika as well as the chronicler's company, Lhikan lesbian ver, several of the Makuta, the Barraki (who are actual animals and also a polycule because why not) and a MNOG-like Makuta who honestly loves and cares for his brother the Great Spirit and thinks putting him in a coma will help. also pewku and jaller's crab. theres even a voriki implication. i have a big post in the drafts for this and perhaps one day it will appear
2009-10 elements will not manage to be included nor will 2016-17 elements. the former because i cannot fit those lads in here tho perhaps bara magna life & survival will make it through, the latter because i havent seen journey to one and frankly i dont know if theres anything of value to take from it. please do yell at me at length in case you disagree. i am very serious abt that i want to learn more, its just that i cant be arsed to get netflix for anything
B) human g2015 au
classic modern times human au but with 2015 characterization bc i like the web episodes. the thoughts i have about this are nebulous at best but good lord if it aint good fun to think about

THE ALSO GOOD NEWS IS i can overthink characterizations you wouldnt even dream of so i can take these cardboard cutouts that are the toa and try to engineer something compelling out of them somehow through the power of incredible neurodivergency and this morbid interest in group dynamics i just found
the bad news is i have little to no plot yet. few story beats that i have are discovery of the powers ala superheroes, lewa getting possessed, pohatu having a panic attack, subsequent slow kohatu development from strangers to friends to lovers because im Fucking Weak For Them, onua leaving lewa underground briefly because hes fucking tired of his attitude, slow lewa/tahu/gali development from clashing to friends to what i can only describe as the human equivalent of a cat colony, stupid winter episode, and undecover mission in drag at a fancy place. most of my fully formed thoughts are for this last one but i still have no idea how this happens or why they have to do it, i just know that the boys make for a bunch of pretty ladies. i am just spitting ideas
also had more specific ideas regarding the main toa such as them being half maori and half another ethnicity (australian aboriginal/hawaiian/jewish/latin american/african just to give a few ideas), onua being aromantic and lewa being goth
C) Foster Parent au
also known as What Watching A Whole Ass Blind-Run Of Bloodborne While Having A Soft Spot For Toa-Turaga Familial Relationships Does To A Motherfucker AU, or also alternatively Superpowers? Divinity? WRONG! COSMIC HORROR AU
only features the Toa Mata, Toa Metru Hordika, Artakha, Karzhani and Velika. the Toa Mata are six parentless siblings separated at birth, bounced around the system until each ended up assigned one of the Toa Metru as their foster parent. weird elemental shit starts happening more prominently now that theyre in a safe and loving environment, and a mysterious man named Artakha who seems to have history with the Metru begins showing up insistently and intimidatingly demanding custody of the kids as their father.

Sometimes, I see a take on Transformers and it's like "oh, you've never watched or read anything from before 2007 and have never bothered looking into anything that wasn't originally in English".
For example: "Agent Foster is the only tolerable human character!"
There are actually a lot of humans in the franchise who are not only tolerable, but likeable! In fact, most G1 Sunbow cartoon humans are likeable. If you hate Carly, Raoul, Chip, or Sparkplug, you are factually wrong! I think the only protagonist humans that are truly unlikable are the trio of kids from the BOT episode. I don't super like the boys in Armada, but I do like Alexis.
Frankly, as likeable as Agent Foster is, I like Raoul way more.
The franchise is broader than the Bay movies, IDW, TFA, TFP, and Earthspark.

TF/M+R: Wrecker's Little Girl
A set of headcanons involving Wheeljack adopting Kanya from Mario + Rabbids from this post here. Enjoy!
Kanya
Species: Rabbid, Spark Hunter variety
Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
Occupation: Inventor/Wrecker
A Rabbid who literally crashed into Wheeljack's life after the events of Last Spark Hunter. He took her in and nursed her back to health. Kanya is still arrogant, manic and a bit mean but mellows into a nicer individual thanks to Wheeljack. She only shows kindness to those who she likes. Has therapy companions in the form of a dud Bob-omb named Bub and a Chain Chomp known as Nippy. (Wheeljack still doesn't know how she got em but let's them stay.)
-Daddy's little feral princess. Kanya is often spoiled by the Autobot with her own workshop, testing ground and all sorts of stuff like plushies. Even has a homemade star shaped stim toy she can bite when nervous.
- Often fights in a mech suit but her main weapon is a remote control yo-yo called the Ring O' Bomber. This item rolls around an explosive that becomes active once detached the string and has a 10 meter radius to move alongside a 10 second timer before detonating. A new bomb regrows in 10 seconds after detachment.
-Loves terrorizing calm leader types and grumps. Doesn't get much jollies with skittish people though since they're too easy to spook. TFP Ratchet is terrified of Kanya and she vows to break TFP Optimus Prime's calm persona. Ultra Magnus was a fun challenge.
-Absolutely kidnapped Breakdown from MECH just because she wants to know his beef with 'uncle Bulkhead'. He'd endured the most awkward tea party until Wheeljack had to let the Decepticon go after realizing what Kanya did. Breakdown will take that than vivisection from the MECH documents said Rabbid stole. (Prime only.)
-Don't put any fingers in Kanya's biting range. Many Cybertronians nearly lost a servo for doing so, Autobots and Decepticons. A much bigger menace to the latter since they don't learn. (G1)
Wheeljack
Species: Cybertronian, Autobot faction
Alignment: Chaotic Good
Occupation: Inventor/Demolition Expert/Wrecker
Kanya's foster father who cared for her since she crashed into his life. A fun loving inventor that tries to steer his Rabbid daughter to use her chaotic skills for something better than world domination. (He managed to get her to become neutral!) Be careful when visiting his workshop though. Wheeljack's inventions still have a tendency to explode! Even moreso with his daughter now around.
-Likes to spoil Kanya whenever he can. The Autobot figures some positive reinforcement will help with her mental issues. Especially after hearing about the Rabbid's origins. It works since she didn't bite him on the second week of recovery.
- Need to explain an invention or plan? Wheeljack usually lets Kanya go over it with the group and adds commentary when needed. It makes her happy so why not?
-Spray bottle. He always carry one as Kanya has a habit of 'overloading'. A nice spritz snaps her outta an episode and he can care for her accordingly. Only Wheeljack is allowed to handle Kanya during this period. He has made it an established rule for everyone's safety.
-'Get out of jail free card.' There have been MANY times he had to rescue someone solicited to his daughter's "tea parties". Autobots, Decepticons, etc. He casually warned Team Prime about it. They didn't believe him until Wheeljack gave footage of Breakdown's party. (Prime)
-Only person who can pick up Kanya without getting bitten. He always gives someone warning to watch their servos around his Rabbid daughter. Do they listen? NO. Wheeljack just pats a smug Kanya on the head afterwards. (G1)

I am very fond of the Quintessons, mostly because my favorite Transformers Era is Season 3 of G1 so incredibly biased and I loved Quintessa's design in Bayverse. More lore! It's a pretty productive sick day, since I'm turning my notes into fairytales. Sorry if their a little stodgy sounding. I read The Silmarillion way too often and it definitely impacted how I write myth and lore.
THE GREAT GIFTS
The celebration that welcome the Quintessons lasted thirteen days and thirteen nights. Cybertronians and Quintessons interacted happily exchange stories and gifts and friendship. The First Born, who named herself Quintessa to honor her Creator, was welcomed directly into the homes of the Thirteen who greeted her as they would have their brother and Prima gave her Quintus's seat at their table. They marveled at the new strange forms the Quintessons took as she marveled at they and their people’s ability to change shape, some taking aspects of the Quintessons into their own forms during their time together.
Gifts were exchanged each day and on the final day, Quintessa presented them herself. The highest of these gifts among them though were reserved for the Thirteen, built solely by Quintessa’s hands.
Before the Thirteen’s eyes these gifts transformed into small Cybertronians with frames smaller even than Minibots. Quintessa introduced them as Mini-Cons, her first creation to serve and foster among the Cybertronians as an everlasting show of the link between their people. Each gift was specially crafted to assist and amplify each Prime’s power. All accepted them graciously and only Micronus and Liege Maximo remained somewhat wary of them, but did not turn away their new companions.
Each artifact’s component pieces in turn swore allegiance to their Prime beginning great and long lasting friendships. Or so it seemed.
For Megatronus, she gifted the Requiem Blaster. From the blaster came the single Mini-Con, Requiem who swore herself as Megatronus partner in combat forever more. Moved by her fierceness, Megatronus dropped to his own knees and swore himself to be her partner and helpmate in all things forever more. They became the first Conjunx Endura swearing themselves to each other and going forth in many fierce battles against Spawn leftover from the First War against Unicron in defense of their people.
For Prima, she gifted the Star Saber and Skyboom Shield. Assistants to him and his focus on law and order they worked with him and his administrators to formalize society and shared rules among newborn Cybertron. A great respect was shared between them, though they remained somewhat aloof.
For Micronus, she gifted the Apex Armor. The components were the largest Mini-Cons, larger even than Micronus and once they separated did not form again as instead of armor Micronus missed Quintus's companionship and found traces of his brother in them. They all took great joy in their friendship, never wearing the armor as intended. They became near indistinguishable from his thriving chaotic nest of Minibots, only standing out by the distinct audial horns the Twins possessed.
For Vector, she gifted the Frozen Watch. This watch was the Mini-Con Scorpia serious and grounded and clever, she froze time linking Vector back to the present so he did not loose himself in the infinite. She grounded him and settled him in ways no one could and he revered and honored her, leading slowly to a blooming affection and eventually romantic love. They are the second Conjunx Endura.
For Solus, she gifted the Creation Lathe. It’s six components became her Torchbearers and closest confidantes with whom she’d plan her ideas and help her focus and execute them. With them she raised her beloved students and built her greatest and longest lasting achievements. To them she bore her Spark and they all claimed themselves as Amica Endura, forming the first Sorority.
For Alchemist, she gifted the Ten. A helpmate and friend the two experimented and laughed daily. Ten had clever hands and was a well of creativity, able to transformers into a great vat to brew in.
For Onyx, she gifted the Triptych Mask. The somber triplets become children to Onyx doted on and squirreled away among his many formed children, their own animalistic forms never once thought of oddly.
For Nexus, she gifted the Omni-Saber.
For Adaptus, she gifted the Scythe.
For Epistemus, she gifted the Cortex Helm.
For Mortilus, she gifted the Ledger of the Departed.

So with Monster high in its gen 3 and with a tv show and a live action movie, and with this reboot, it seems like they got more inclusive and doing things they couldn’t do in the first generation, BUT! I’m not here to pick part the new dolls or movie ( the live action way better than the g1 movies ) I’m here to talk about my favourite MH guy characters Jackson and Holt ( mostly Jackson ) and how I would like to see two in G3 forgetting that Mr Komos ever existed …….wait is the show is the still Canon as the movie? ……. No, the TV series is a different canon to the movie so this would work 
This idea takes place before Jackson transfers to monster high
Jackson is trans 🏳️⚧️. He was just a normal human, in he’s family Library he spell book as he was not born in the right body he try to use magic and Science to change himself but of course it went wrong and it creating Holt . At the start Jackson did not know about Holt but in time he figures it out because he’s a smart cookie ( just like in G1 ) but he turns in to Holt not by Music ( I kind of thought that was a dumb idea ) but Holt take over when Jackson is being too stressful, on the verge of having a panic attack, and holt is how Jackson wish he was like a cool relax dude.
But for story telling how about that. Jackson takes the last name to Jekyll to hide he’s real last name for everyone he’s family hands out about he’s monster side, so at first Jackson is a spying on the monsters and realise in time that his family does not have the best intentions for him now , of course he well stop and cut he’s family out of he’s life and how is he’s family you may think to yourself of course it be a Van Helsing a long line for monster hunters. once he abandoned his family, he get fostered by a monster family.
