Rising early Celeste and Alonso ventured into the jungle one last time to locate and find more hidden treasures and relics. They visited the Omiscan Royal Baths again, one of Celeste's favorite places, and after digging up some crystal's they headed back to the rental to pack up their belongings.

Final summary: this was probably my least favorite adventure with the Westbrook's. I have played in Selvadorada before with other sims but not really to this depth and not really attempted to complete the aspirations.
Selvadorada is definitely a beautiful world but it is quite small and there are not many districts for your sim to visit so it can get a bit tedious going to the same places every time. They stayed 12 sim days and manged to complete almost all the milestones in the two world related aspirations. Selvadoradian Culture and Archaeology skill were the two easiest to complete. Basically just talk to the locals a lot and excavate/use the Archaeology table a lot. 👍
Something I found annoying with Jungle Explorer aspiration was once you get to the last milestone it's actually hard to complete 2 of the 3 requirements because your sim has already visited the temple a few times and already found/opened treasure chests which could have gone towards the final requirements. 🤔
It was still fun though and there were two gates that never opened in the jungle so maybe on their next trip we can explore those two hidden areas.

After seeing that previous shipping ask, I've just gotta know! What does the Riddler (BTAA or otherwise) think of the pure relationship DRAMA that's going on between the Penguin and Two-Face in the Audio Adventures?
(For those who don't listen to the Audio Adventures, if you view the story from the Penguin's perspective, life's practically a dating sim for him and he's WINNING! Harvey's the most beautiful beau at the ball and Oswald WANTS him. In fact, he melted half of Harvey's face off in an attempt to woo him. Oswald has finally been successful and got Harvey and Associate to combine their criminal enterprises with his so that together they can control some 70% of Gotham's criminal underworld. But just as things were getting REALLY good for Oswald (Harvey made the Penguin the de facto police commissioner), Batman kidnapped Harvey because it's pretty clear that Brucie LOVES Harvey and wants to give him a happy, healthy home! And then of course, just as Bruce was getting Harvey settled in his new home in Wayne Manor, Scarecrow attacked and kidnapped Bruce, of course. Sloppy bitches all around!)

Over time, I've gotten some questions about how my Biotech Station mod differs from simler90's. To make answering easier in the future, I finally attempted to write all the changes down.
But a disclaimer that it's been two years since I worked with that mod, so I'm very likely forgetting something.
Sims can't catch the mysterious disease from making medicine with my version
I added the practice interaction
I added the interactions for making medicine/virus in bulk
I made it so that the medicine/virus made on a business lot goes into the business owner's inventory
I made failed attempts to add an empty bottle to the inventory (as a junk penalty, similar to what fishing produces)
I stopped children from being able to make medicine on their own
I lowered the skilling speed of the object
I added the missing object anim to making medicine
I changed the vial to a medicine bottle and made it sit on the ground level (after animations too)
I greatly lowered the relationship requirement for giving medicine, as I wanted to have it possible for a doctor to give it to a patient after a few successful interactions (simler90 has the requirement as 50 STR, I have it as 10 STR)
I made the requirements for successfully giving virus more straightforward by removing the logic & charisma skill check that simler90 has included and raised the LTR requirement instead
I turned giving virus always causing a relationship hit (simler90 has it giving a boost when accepted)
I stopped it from being possible to give virus to children
With simler90's version, sims might get busted by the police if they make virus. I wanted it to be possible to have a setting where viruses are legally made for research purposes, so I removed that
I made it impossible to sell viruses in OFB businesses as that should be illegal, but I allowed selling them for profit in buy mode so that sims can still get money from 'researching' them (simler90 has virus priced at §0)
In update 3 of their mod simler90 made it so that if giving medicine/virus is refused, the medicine/virus gets moved into the giver's inventory, even though it's not usable from the inventory. I changed it back so that the giver will find a surface to place the bottle back onto, so that it can be given again without first replacing it from the inventory
I changed the original Eaxis formula (which simler90 uses) for making medicine/virus: originally, it had the sim's niceness points as one factor for determining how potent the outcome will be. It didn't make much sense to me, so I took that away. During testing, we also noticed that the sim's logic skill level only had a small impact so I made that weight more instead
I completely rewrote how medicine works: instead of always lowering disease severity, my medicine is capable of insta-curing certain diseases, depending on how potent the medicine is. This required a lot of new code as simler90's version doesn't have a cure code of its own but relies on the game's general disease progressing code (and for that reason there's always a delay before the sim gets cured with simler90's version)
I added pop-up messages showing if the sim got cured or not
I also completely rewrote how virus works: simler90 has it so that the disease virus gives is always the mysterious disease (=a disease of which symptoms and other qualities have been randomized). I made the less potent virus to give either food poisoning, a cold, or the flu instead, and only the potent version to infect the mysterious disease
simler90 has relationship checks for giving medicine/virus interaction to even appear, and an additional mood check for the sim to be able to take virus themselves. I removed all of that
And probably more, but I think that covers most of it.

The thumping bass from the music echoed through Heeseung's house, drowning out any attempt at a coherent conversation. Lights flickered, and the air was thick with the scent of various drinks. I stumbled through the crowd, occasionally bumping into people, trying to find Jake.
I finally spotted Jake engrossed in a conversation with Ni-ki and Sunoo. I stumbled over, feeling the effects of the pregame hitting me faster than I anticipated. I slipped under Jake's arm and he looked down at me, concern etched on his face.
"You good?" he asked, and I managed a nod. Sunoo, noticing my condition, chimed in, "We've been here for like twenty minutes, Y/n. How are you already this drunk?"
"Jake and I pre-gamed at my house," I replied, causing gasps from both Sunoo and Ni-ki. "Why weren't we invited?" they protested.
"Jake didn't have enough alcohol for everyone," I teased, earning an eye roll from Jake.
As time passed, Jake and I found ourselves in one of the spare bedrooms, a familiar scenario for us. We didn't mind; after all, we'd known each other our whole lives. Leaning on my elbows, I looked over Jake's shoulder.
"If you're going to puke, please do so the other way and not on me," he warned.
"I was trying to see if you were awake," I said.
"I am. Why?"
"I can't sleep. Hee's house creeps me out."
"We've been over this how many ti—"
Before Jake finished his sentence, he rolled over and let out a scream, causing me to jump back and scream in response. "Jerk!" I yelled, but Jake was already laughing at his successful scare.
"I'm sorry," he said, though his laughter betrayed his insincerity.
"No, you aren't."
"You're right. I'm not. That was so funny."
Pouting, I huffed, only to find myself pulled closer to Jake as he wrapped his arm around me. The room spun a bit, and our heavily intoxicated gazes locked onto each other.
We stared at each other for a couple seconds and Jake leaned in and kissed me. My eyes widened in surprise. "Y-You just kissed me!"
"You kissed back," he replied. The realization hit me, and I couldn't help but smile.
My cheeks flushed as I processed the reality of the situation.
"What was that?" I finally managed to ask, my eyes wide and searching Jake's face for an explanation.
Jake laughed, "I've been wanting to do that for a while now."
My heart pounded in my chest as I tried to make sense of my emotions. The alcohol in my system only added to the confusion.
"We're best friends," I whispered, almost as if reminding myself.
Jake's expression softened, and he gently brushed a strand of hair away from my face.
"I don't want to ruin our friendship," I confessed, a hint of vulnerability in my voice.
Jake smiled reassuringly, "We won't. We'll figure it out together, just like we always have."

2nd Challenge: TRAP OF LOVE
This is a last one standing battle royale extreme violence edition. This will be my first-time using EV so it'll be a journey for all of us lol. This will also be recorded footage. Yes, your first LIVE BC (that I know of). The footage will consist of 3 weeks/7days in game (one full year in game). I learned about this from lilsimsie, when she would place sims in a dollhouse while the game run for 24 hours or so. I've done it before and would like to try again minus the 24hrs bit. Brandi never regretted leaving the luxury of her parents behind in order to move in with her high school sweetheart Skip Broke. She had no other choice. Her parents planned a shiny academic future for her, so they would never allow their 18-year-old daughter to keep her and Skip’s baby. 
The Brokes traveled enough around Pleasantview, with Skip doing his best to provide for his wife and his little son Dustin. After a long time of moving around, Skip has found a permanent job at the Landgraab facility and the family has finally been able to settle down in a tiny trailer house in one of the modest corners of Willow Creek. That’s where they had their second son, cutie Beau. And that’s where Brandi has lost her Skip to a “tragic and mysterious facility accident”. 
Will Brandi be able to raise her sons alone? And what troubles will Dustin get into while trying to deal with his heavy loss?
A Fresh Start

After months of unsuccessful attempts to conceive their second child, Leo and Lina have come to a conclusion that a calm suburban area might be the solution to their difficulty. So they changed the stuffy San Myshuno Business Quarter to the Copperdale fresh air, leaving Leo whining from time to time about spending a whole hour daily to get to his office and back. 
To Lina’s mind, apart from the fresh air there were more bonuses that Copperdale has offered her family. The local high school has always been famous for gifting its students a lucky ticket to the best universities of the countries, and Lina couldn’t dream of a better opportunity for her eldest daughter from the previous marriage Nina. 
On top of that, Copperdale was significantly further from San Sequoia, making Nina spend much less time with her rock-star father Niel Dwyer. 
But will the distance help Lina get rid of Niel’s troublesome and careless influence on Nina? And will Copperdale finally become Lina's and Leo’s family happiness corner?

Vikie’s notes: With my recent nostalgia about The Sims 2 lore, I’ve been dreaming of creating TS2 world in The Sims 4. Apparently it has already been done by violetpixels in the TS2 to TS4 Uberhood save file.
Currently I’m focused on the two iconic TS2 families - the Pleasants and the Brokes, along with my Gross-Dwyer family whom I decided to give a fresh start after I had lost any interest in going on with “My Willow Creek Teens” story. However, later on I might add a couple of other preexisting TS2 households to the “Neighbourhood Stories” (with proper introductions, of course).

As for modding, I actually started back in 2020 when the pandemic hit. Like you, most of my first attempts at script modding were failures, but each time I failed, I learned something new and applied it to my next attempt. I didn't have much success until last year, around the time when I started helping Alunn with the Yoga Mod. Then I took what I learned from the project and started on the Pasteurize Milk Mod and the Chaise Lounge Mod after that. The milk mod alone was a WIP for around 17 months, so don’t feel discouraged about a mod taking too long to make!

There are also more tutorials you may find helpful depending on your projects on the Tutorial Board.
A really good tool for starting out is the Script Mod Template Creator by Battery. It creates script mod templates for you, so you don’t have to make your own from scratch! This is also the same tool that I used to create the custom moodlets for the milk mod.
And finally, connect with other creators! There are so many people in this community willing to help you get your mod off the ground. The reason I have long thank you lists for my mods is because all of those people helped me in some way or another make my modding dreams a reality (and I appreciate them so much!!).

Despite reaching the top romantic conversation status, they did not attempt woohoo. I'm not sure if that's because the house was full of people or because I don't have autonomous woohoo turned on in Woohooer. Probably the latter.
The one sim you don't see is Quincy Miller, who wandered of to sit in the living room, in the dark, while everyone else had a good time.

Ok so I learned a few things while trying to make @nyoxt ‘s Ram in the sims. First mods and in game custmization options are super heavily biased towards females so some things are not as good as they could be because that’s as close as I could get.  Surprisingly his facial hair was the hardest one to find anything close, well that and I couldn’t find his forehead horns or next stripes. His skintone mod also very rudely took away his bicep tattoo and his bodyhair.
Starting off this was a random outfit the game decided he should wear for his party look and I just loved how dapper he was in it even if I didn’t keep it, very suave and handsome man he is.
Now initially I was planning on having them go to the beach for summer shenanigans, until I remembered that would probably give Reina squid incident ptsd so winter fun times instead. For some reason while playing Reina she would always get on the sled in the back and it, it did not work out well for them.
The next night I played as Ram and they got to enjoy some hot pot that was maybe a bit spicy for him but they still got a happy sentiment of bonding from hotpot.
Then they built, or attempted to build, a snowpal of well it’s cute.
The festival of snow happened so I had them try sledding again to much greater success, now that they figured out Ram in the back there was no more falling.
Finally ending the day with some karaoke that got absolutely ruined in their second song by an angry werewolf who had spent the first song kicking over a trashcan.
I decided to save and quit when they were running around in terror from the newly transformed werewolf.
Well Happy Birthday Nyoxt, I may have traumatized your boy.

NSB (Straud Legacy) Gen 9 Ep 35: Harvestfest Revelations
A disheartened Luigi and Noemi were already headed back downstairs when they heard Hunter calling them all to dinner.
Peachy had let him do the honors, grateful for the help with the meal that year. It was his first Harvestfest without Jack and the holiday had always been one of their favorites. He had so many fond memories of cooking all the classic dishes with his love, and he’d been quite dreading doing it alone.
Peachy had brought over the old card table for extra seating, and Hunter was happy for an excuse not to have to sit and attempt small talk with his parents during the feast. He knew they’d want to know all about his “studies” and there was nothing to tell them other than the truth.
Luigi was equally happy to have Noemi and Kiana sitting on the other side of the room. He wasn’t sure if he’d have been able to act normal while sharing a table with his great aunt and the girl they both loved.

After the meal Valentina invited everyone to watch a movie. Hunter gave Luigi a meaningful look and stopped his parents before they got settled, asking them to come join him upstairs in his room as he had something important he wanted to talk to them about.
Manny looked suspicious as Luigi trailed behind them, settling quietly in the corner. He wasn’t going to step on Hunter’s reveal unless he was needed.
Figuring the best course of action was simply to rip off the Band-Aid Hunter got straight to the point and explained about dropping out of college.
His father exploded – screaming and waving his arms around angrily. How could Hunter throw his life away like this!? Manny had set him on the path to success and he’d chosen to reject all the advantages he’d been given. He was on his own now and good luck, he was going to need it!

When Luigi saw Hunter turn his face away, completely stunned and unable to respond, he knew what he had to do.
He ripped into Manny just as loudly as the older sim had yelled at his boy, telling him he wasn’t much of a parent if he couldn’t support his child in his life choices. Manny fired back that Luigi had no idea what he was talking about. This was a family matter and Luigi had no right to get involved. In fact, he was sure Luigi’s terrible influence had a hand in this – in school to play videogames for a living…! He should never have let Hunter live here!
Turning to Toni, who had been quiet throughout the exchange, he told her they were leaving and stormed out, shooting one final glare Luigi’s direction.

Once his parents were gone Hunter collapsed onto his bed. When Luigi came over to check on him, he told him he just wanted to be alone for awhile.
Luigi said he’d let everyone know Hunter was resting and wouldn’t be coming back down. After his cousin promised to come find him if he needed anything Luigi left to play host for the remainder of the uneventful visit, before heading to e-sports practice once their guests departed.
That night Luigi filled Papa Jack in on everything, including the sad twist that had ended things with his latest love interest. He imagined how Peachy would respond if he found out about Noemi and knew that no amount of shock or disappointment would make him reject his son like Uncle Manny had.
He then settled into bed sad that his romance had crashed and burned but grateful for the unwavering love and support of his family.

It's finally complete! These are the exterior pics for the new no cc desert Earthship. This home has kind of been years in the making, I watched other's videos on these builds and had always wanted to do one since I knew so much about these houses but this is my only successful attempt so far. It even includes a personal desert oasis and natural swimming pool.
I built this house to be as realistic as I could. There is an intake pipe in the back of house poking out of the hill for the cool air that would cool this house in the summer. The huge window in front is angled as close to 75 degrees as I could comfortably manage for this build. And underneath that window is a long water garden with plants and wetland grasses to recycle your grey water. Now sure, this is not how the sims works at all, but man was it satisfying for me to build it that way!
Interior coming tomorrow :) and I will also be posting this in my gallery either tomorrow or the next day, MUST play test lol

It was back to the house, where Victor and Alice went to have a quick nap (as their sleep schedules are PRETTY fucked up at this point) as Smiler decided to try THEIR chances at placating the annoyed gnome in the greenhouse. Fortunately, since Smiler is the most likable Sim in SimNation, they were able to calm the angry gnome and keep them from doing anything more awful than spawning a single trash pile. Which of course yielded some upgrade parts and some trash to recycle later, so honestly, win. :p I then had Smiler go and do a little flower arranging with some yellow tulips, as they hadn't done that in a while...
And as they were finishing up said arrangement, Kelly came in, laid down next to them -- and in a burst of sparkles, her two kittens were born! Shock and Surprise! No, seriously, that's what I named them, because -- well, they WERE. XD Shock is an Affectionate, Talkative, Free Spirit kind of cat, while Surprise is a Frisky, Talkative, Free Spirit kind of kitty. And they both take VERY strongly after their mother -- which makes sense, as their father is basically The Void. XD Smiler took a moment to squee over the kittens and introduce themselves, then went back to their flower arrangement as Kelly took the two on a tour of the lawn --
And all of a sudden, Temperance appeared! Perhaps emboldened by the fact that I'd evicted her ex-boyfriend from the premises with that special haunted-house-adjusting hand. However, Victor and Alice were awake now, having a bit of coffee to try and get themselves back on a more normal sleep schedule, so it was the work of a moment to grab the bizarre idol out of Victor's inventory and plop it down next to her. She got caught in a cowering loop while Smiler finished up their arrangement (getting Flower Arranging skill level 5 in the process), Alice went outside to meet the kittens and help carry them inside the house (stairs are a bit much for cats as small as they are), and Victor finally got the cone off Shadow and started teaching her to play dead, watched by a curious Kelly (getting Pet Training skill level 3 in the process). Smiler, meanwhile, flew upstairs to hype their next video, then finish up editing all the videos they took while on their vacation. They decided to try combining the "charisma" video of them just standing around with the sand sculpture video -- unfortunately, the resultant splice didn't go well, and the quality was lowered, meh. A few edits got it up to Good quality, though, and Smiler left it for a bit to study the latest trends. And since fashion appeared to be in for the day --
Why not do a fashion vlog? With Smiler showing off some of their awesome lewks for their adoring fans? After all, Smiler has a very DISTINCT style. XD We even got a look at one of my VITD-style outfits, since I added it as a partywear option for them. :) Nice!
And so Harvestfest finally ended with Smiler wrapping up their fashion video; Alice snoozing away in her and Victor's bed; and Victor making sure Toothy was well fed. A very successful holiday indeed! Next time, though, it's back to the store for more attempts to get those shelves filled and organized! See you then!

I'm currently playing a Decades Challenge Legacy and will also start to post stuff about that. This one's less silly (theres still some silly) and more realistic than the Dimayuga Legacy, I'm a history major just couldn't help myself man. This is from an American history standpoint, but please note not everything is going to be 100% realistic. I will not have racism and anti-semiticism in my game, and that is not to downplay or erase that part of history it is because this is Sims! I don't feel comfortable portraying such serious issues in a silly video game. And as a Jew, I'm really trying to have some escapism from n*zi stuff right now.

We start with married couple Moses and Selma Borowski. The two lovebirds moved into a tiny countryside cottage soon after their small ceremony with family. READ 2 Chronicles 21:4–7, 16–20
In the hit musical Hamilton, England’s King George III is humorously portrayed as a cartoonish, deranged villain. However, a new biography on King George said he was not the tyrant described in Hamilton. If George had been the brutal despot that some said he was, he would have probably attempted to stop the American nation’s drive for independence with more extreme, scorched-earth measures. But he was restrained by his “civilized, good-natured” temperament.
Who knows if King George died with regret? Would his reign have been more successful if he’d been harsher and more ruthless?
Not necessarily. In the Bible we read of King Jehoram, who solidified his throne by putting “all his brothers to the sword along with some of the officials of Israel” (2 Chronicles 21:4). Jehoram “did evil in the eyes of the Lord” (v. 6). His ruthless reign alienated his people, who neither wept for his gruesome death nor made a “funeral fire in his honour” (v. 19).
Historians may debate whether George was too soft; Jehoram was surely too harsh. A better way is that of King Jesus, who is “full of grace and truth” (John 1:14). Christ’s expectations are firm (He demands truth), yet He embraces those who fail (He extends grace). Jesus calls us who believe in Him to follow His lead. Then, through the leading of His Holy Spirit, He empowers us to do so.

First and Second Chronicles cover the history of the Jewish people and monarchy in the Southern Kingdom of Judah from the death of Saul until the Babylonian exile—the same period covered in 2 Samuel and 1–2 Kings. Written after the Babylonian exile, the author of 1–2 Chronicles (Jewish tradition identifies Ezra) seeks to assure postexilic Jews that though they were unfaithful, Yahweh remains faithful to the His covenant. In 2 Chronicles 21:7, the chronicler affirmed that God kept His promise that there would always be a descendant of David on the throne (see 2 Samuel 7:12–17), a promise that has its final fulfilment in Jesus ( Matthew 1:1).

The Sims 2 Impressions
We have extensive impressions of an early build of Maxis' sequel to the best-selling PC game of all time.

It won't be easy for Maxis to successfully follow up on the best-selling PC game of all time, The Sims. The company has already produced somewhat disappointing results trying to take The Sims in a new direction with this year's The Sims Online, for example. So it's only natural to view The Sims 2, Maxis' attempt at an honest-to-goodness sequel to the extremely popular 2000 hit, with some healthy skepticism. Can this sequel truly achieve the same level of greatness? Can it prove to be as enduring as the original? We've had an early look at the game, in which we saw some of the changes and improvements The Sims 2 makes to its predecessor. And based on this early look, in answer to the question posed, we can definitively say: yeah, maybe.
First of all, The Sims 2 looks really good--at least that's what we thought based on what we've seen. It features a fully 3D engine with realistic lighting, as well as far more detailed character models for the sims themselves, who now can be seen making realistic facial expressions and moving about in an even more lifelike manner. The game's interface appears nearly identical to that of the original, though a few new "motives" (the statistics of your sims that you need to keep track of) have been added. The "social" motive from The Sims has been broken up into "family" and "friends," and a "mind" motive has been added, representing mental stimulation. The gameplay remains fundamentally similar to its predecessor--you can create and control your very own mundane little people, encouraging them to interact with each other and their homes in various ways. You can also build houses for them from the ground up and then fill those houses with all kinds of things you might find in a real home. And some weirder things, too. The Sims 2 isn't trying to mess with success. From what we've seen, the game is squarely trying to extend the original game toward logical conclusions.
The game clearly isn't just a rehash with a new coat of paint, though. One of the most obvious changes to the gameplay is that the sims will no longer be trapped in time--that is, in the original The Sims game and its expansions, sims never aged. Kind of like the Bill Murray movie Groundhog Day. Well, no more. In The Sims 2, sims move through six different stages of development, starting as wee babies, moving on to the toddler years, then becoming children, teens, adults, and, finally, geezers. That's Maxis' word on it, not ours.
Sims will act differently to some extent based on their stage of development. And if they get married and have kids, their children will inherit not just their genetic stock, but also their appearance. Maxis demonstrated the elaborate new face maker technology for the game, which you can use to create a sim to look like just about anyone you can think of. And then Maxis showed us what happens when you combine a couple of them--sure enough, the offspring inherited its parents' features.
Offspring can also inherit their parents' skills. If a sim advances far enough in a career path, he or she will earn a career reward object, letting him or her continue to hone his or her skills. Better yet, the sim's child can also use the career object to gain an edge, even over his or her parents. The idea is that you can pass down trade secrets from generation to generation with these career objects.
The Sims 2 will "still be a game of materialism," according to Maxis. The object is to earn a high lifescore during your sims' life expectancy. This isn't Maxis forcing you to play a certain way--it's Maxis just forcing you to do something. Your lifescore will increase whenever an important event happens in your sim's life. Whether it's getting married or getting fired from your job or watching in horror as grandpa takes a dive into an empty swimming pool doesn't matter. Maxis knows that one of the best things about The Sims is that there's no right way to play, so by adding the concept of lifescore to The Sims 2, the company is merely encouraging players to experiment and have fun.
The game will concentrate on life at home, much like the original. This begs the question of whether Maxis will go on to unleash a slew of expansion packs for The Sims 2, much like what it's done for the original release. Maybe the answer to that question is obvious. At any rate, The Sims 2 doesn't skimp on features or content, much like the original.
Players concerned about all their sims dying off in The Sims 2 shouldn't worry, as the game will optionally permit you to toggle the life cycle feature off. Maxis is convinced that the addition of life cycles enhances to the gameplay, however, and that it encapsulates how this truly is "the next generation of The Sims." Can Maxis really pull off this sequel with such impressive results as its predecessor? We won't find out till next year, since The Sims 2 is still a ways off. We'll have more on the game soon.
