greetings from the happy, healthy Landgraab family.
consider this both a story update and a townie makeover, as we're going to see plenty more of these three soon enough. this is an aside from our catch up ( the last of which will be mikhail and candy's side of the family ), after which we'll be starting fresh with chapter 2. which, in many ways, i'll be treating as the true start of the story now that i have a script and a good handle on the direction i want Returning Dawn to head.

Beauty & brains 🎓
Nadia had successfully got through college at Britechester University where she received 2 scholarships. Blood, sweat, tears & long, long, long study sessions to pass her finals every Friday kicked her behind—but it was worth it. Only having to repeat one class she received her degree on time & a 4.0 GPA taking 4 classes her last sesmester.
No way Nadia was letting that F in wellness get her down. She secretly thinks the professor had it out for her bc how do a wellness connoisseur fail a wellness class? like bffr.

Introduction
Hi! I'm an anonymous asker who sometimes sends fellow simmers questions. "Simblr Question of the Day" is something I saw going on around September '23 and I wanted to revive this "trend"! After a bit, some simmers suggested a SQOTD blog, to which I agreed and finally did it! I can broaden my asking horizons to blogs w/o anons now :)
I'm going to continue preserving my anonymity, but I'd like to share some basics about me ! ~
You can call me squat or squatty! A name I chose based on the way I pronounce "SQOTD," You can also call me SQOTD Anon! My timezone is ( PST ) - I like the colors yellow and pink/red, I've been playing the sims since I was 5 and I like to read and write :)
And below the cut will include a little rundown of how I will run this blog and navigation hashtags ~
- I want to start off by saying that while I do play TS4, I'm going to try and keep my SQOTDs all-sim-games-friendly, so if you play TS3, 2 or 1 and want to answer, go right ahead! Feel free to "translate" them for older games if you want to answer and it seems too "Sims-4-oriented"
- Also! You can absolutely answer:
1. older SQOTDs
2. a SQOTD multiple times
or 3. a SQOTD that isn't prompted by an ask
while this is a ~daily questions blog~, you can also consider it a questions archive where you can pull any question out and answer it whenever and however many times you want to :)
-I will queue a question once a day around 4am-5am PST, I will try to vary the type of questions (builds/renders/cas/sims/ocs). I also do around 3-4 tzrs per SQOTD.
-I will also send a SQOTD to a random 5-10 Simblrs either around 4-5 AM or somewhere in the same day in my time (I forewarn this in the chance that I'm asleep around 4-5 AM) - and yes, I will make sure that it's different Simblrs everyday :)
-Interact with these posts in anyway you prefer: reblog, reply or a separate post! (make sure to tag me ^^)
-I'm going to attempt to reblog as many answers as possible, but I do want to avoid spamming dashes, so not always, but I will occasionally reblog ^o^
-I FULLY encourage YOU to continue sending asks with SQOTDs (crediting/tagging me is optional). I don't expect every simblr to know about this blog and SQOTD is intended to be a community thing, so while this blog will extend SQOTD reach, asks will spread even further
-If you have your own SQOTD, you can send me an ask with your question and I will answer it prompting anyone of Simblr to answer it!
-Since this isn't my main blog, I won't be following anyone back, but I will always check this blog at least twice or thrice a day and check my notifs and engage with the community as much as possible :)

Mardi 12 septembre
Résumons.
Je suis remplaçant (TZR, pour parler acronymes de l'Éducation Nationale).
Pour la première fois dans en lycée (si l'on excepte une brève incursion il y a deux ans).
Au service partagé entre deux établissements.
Systématiquement affecté dans des salles différentes.
On ne va pas mentir, ce ne sont pas des situations d'enseignement éminemment confortables. On m'a rarement autant appelé "Excuse-moi comment tu t'appelles ?"
Pourtant, cette situation ne me déplaît pas. Alors que d'habitude, je suis le mec qui a besoin de s'investir dans mille projets, de s'inscrire au conseil d'administration, au conseil de vie lycéenne, de participer à collégiens / lycéens / grands-parents au cinéma, cette année, ça n'est tout simplement pas possible. Quand on ballote d'un établissement à l'autre, et que l'on retente un concours, il faut accepter que cette fois, on ne sera pas une sorte de mascotte poilue de la salle des profs.
Arriver quelques minutes avant la sonnerie plutôt que trois quart d'heures. Pour retrouver, finalement, celles et ceux qui m'ancrent. Les élèves. Avec qui, petit à petit, se construit la patiente géographie de notre territoire commun. Ils commencent à sourire à certaines de mes maladresses, me dévoilent ce qu'ils apprécient dans le cours : les figures de styles un poil exotiques - vive l'épanorthose - les travaux de groupe, les anecdotes croustillantes sur la création d'un bouquin. Doucement, les questions commencent à affluer, les voix s'attarder à la récréation. "Vous avez déjà lu La ferme des animaux ? J'ai détesté ! À la place, je lisais Bonjour Tristesse !"
Et leurs visages, leurs voix, leurs noms s'inscrivent dans mon esprit.
Ça c'est solide.
Ça c'est stable.
Ces grandes silhouettes, qui m'impressionnent encore, me rassurent également. Cette année les murs sont mouvants. Alors on fixe sa boussole sur les regards.

Not the same anon but I feel the same. I don't mind tzr once after 12h or sth but some people tzr like an hour or two after posting (and then like 3/4 more times after that in one day) and that's just pushing it. Like calm down!! The post barely simmer and theyre already trying to push it up again. Although, I don't mind if people tzr their cc posts or lots downloads etc a couple of times.
Yeah I see your point. You gotta let it sit just a lil bit for maximum impact imo. Cos I feel like the point of tzr isn't to push it to the top of the dash every hour. I see it in my head as six hours at the very least but more like ten to twelve hours practically. So that ppl getting home from whatever they got up to that day or just waking up can see it no matter what time that may be. I love it when I'm gone all day and then I come home and I see my mutual's tzr I'm like mmm yes finally some good fucking food 😘👌 especially if it's a story post or cc post I'm like yeah baby. I feel like its not usual for ppl to be tzr very often like every couple hours, I rarely see it. But I wanna emphasize, I don't think less of anyone for doing so, I personally may unfollow if its super excessive (like 6-8 times per day) but thats not an insult, it's just a personal preference. Ppl will get hurt about it though unfortunately. I unfollowed someone once for spamming some music ask game and they got so angry I broke our mutual that they made a post about it and blocked me! Which was a shock to me lol. But ya know sometimes I wind up just refollowing people later when trends like that die down a bit. I never like to see unfollowing as anything personal bc if I really didn't want to have anything to do with someone I'd block them, not unfollow. Sometimes you just need time away now and again. But honestly me unfollowing for tzr is super rare bc most people really don't tzr that much. So I was surprised to see the discourse when it doesn't even apply to 99% of simblrs imo, just ppl doing it more or less constantly. What is a tiny pet peeve for me is if someone has cc posts and they tag all the tzr with "downloads" or whatever relevant tag they use for cc so when I'm scrolling their cc tag specifically its repeats over and over again 🥲 aaaaaah. And what's funny is that I do this very thing with cc updates in my tag and have to clear it out now and again 🤣 we all have our pet peeves but it ain't serious most of the time.
