The description of how Fearne's appearance changes when she re-enters the Fey Realm had so much magic to it.

Here's Matt Mercer's description:

"When you look at Fearne, she's Fearne, but there's something different about her. Her features are sharper, her eyes are bigger and deeper, her ears seem to almost be longer, her limbs seem to be just slightly exaggerated. There's this otherworldly kind of air about her that is just unique. It's upsetting at a first glance."

The moment takes place in Critical Role's third campaign during the episode Ominous Lectures.

Fearne is played by Ashley Johnson.

I just realized that early Gen Z/late millennials were taught to interact with the internet like travelers to the Fey Realm. Never use your real name, avoid being tricked into contracts, and be skeptical of appearances. So yeah, the internet is the Fey Realm.

Heya hun, thank you for the ask <3 I hope your Saturday went well ^_^

But... Oh no, if I answer this honestly I'd going to end up being a huge spoiler rofl

I'm going to have to give the second best boss battle, and that would be the Fey Queen of Arbaon, specifically in the realm of Arbaon.

The blood of Bridget Elestov was what formed the whole realm of Arbaon when the fey fled the mortal realm, so within Arbaon all of her descendants are linked intrinsically with the world around them.

There are no natural seasons in Arbaon, but when the Queen decides it's time for spring, the flowers begin to bloom. I feel like that would give her a definitive edge in a boss battle!

Here is an original character design I've been meaning to put on paper for a long while (a long while because I was afraid the description I had wouldn't translate well to art)

The Florasia Dracoaves (Plant element, dragon-bird)

This fey realm beast has a slightly beaked snout, with teeth built for eating practically anything; their bite force is able to break bone. The jaw is able to extend a bit beyond normal motion.

Their stomach acid is said to be the strongest acidic substance, able to easily break down anything they eat. Note: they can regurgitate this like a spitting cobra.

Their eyes are hidden behind a curtain of feathers, making them practically blind, but their sense of smell is evolved enough to compensate for this.

Their head ends in long thick vines, which are prehensile; these extensions are used to capture escaping prey. They can also extend by rapidly growing, though this does take up some energy.

Their wings are built for high speed, like falcons or hawks wings. The gait of this beast is crocodilian in nature while on all fours; it is able to walk upright, though not for long distances.

Ashton- lost the trust of the group and has worryingly little self worth

Laudna - feels Delilah taking over, regressed back to witch in the woods

Fearne - feels guilty, scared of her fate, something strange is going on with her mom

Imogen - trying to hold on to the Laudna she loves and keep Delilah away while also trying to keep the group from completely falling apart

Chetney - trying to be there for his friends while also making sure they realize the severity of their actions

Orym: weirdly quiet in the aftermath (I know Liam wasn’t there but for RP sake)

Good luck to FCG, he’s got his work cut out for him. Time to let that inner therapist/camp counselor side shine!
