The bells chime as the door to the Dairy swings open, Rue pushing her way through the frame, two French braids plaited neatly down the back of her head. She looks healthy, which is a relief, and happy as fuck if he had to guess. Fez glances down at his phone, noting the time and guessing that the girl is on her way home from NA - or quite possibly on her way to Bobbi’s after her meeting.  “‘Sup kid?” he asks, pocketing the device even as a text from Lexi flashes across the screen.  Rue gives him a fist bump before going directly for the drinks fridge and grabbing a glass bottle Coke.  “I dropped by looking for you earlier,” she says casually as she pulls her wallet out and shoves three one dollar bills his way. “Ash said you worked the afternoon shift today and were at home. When I mentioned dropping by the house instead, Faye warned me that you were probably blowing Lexi’s back out.”

Lexi and Bobbi throw a Christmas Party in their new apartment where Lexi has decided to finally shoot her shot with Fezco by finding the perfect moment to get him under the mistletoe.

Until now, Lexi had been content keeping her feelings to herself. She figured she would take her infatuation to the grave for the sake of the friendship. But as the years went by, she would only fall in love more and more – to the point where it was suffocating her now. Bobbi seemed to think that Fezco reciprocated her feelings but Lexi had no evidence that supported that theory. Fezco was an honest to god (that she didn’t believe in) good guy. A salt of the earth type that wouldn’t hurt a fly. As long as you didn’t mess with his friends. His family. His money. He was considerate in a way that had you questioning if the rest of humanity was just a simulation. He was sweet and charming but never used it to his advantage. And that was only with strangers. When it came to the people in his life, you could triple that tenfold. He was as loving as he was loyal.

No lie - Fez is super fuckin’ tired of having to plan secret meetings in order to talk business these days. It’s some fuckin’ bullshit if you ask him, but after the stunt Laurie pulled on Friday with Lexi he doesn’t even want Adrienne spotted around his crib for the time being. Like, he knows the woman can’t really get on him for having legal representation or nothing, it’s none of her damn business what his lawyer is doin’ for him at any given time - but it don’t mean he wants to put the heat on the woman who’s kept his ass outta so much shit the last four years. The less they was seen together the less his supplier had reason to suspect he was consciously working against her. At least that’s what made sense in his head, anyway.
