This is the picture that Fez sees when he closes his eyes:
A farm, somewhere surrounded by trees and cows and chickens and Pigs and fruits and vegetables. Somewhere where he can grow and cultivate things without the fear of a knife to the throat or a gun to the head.
Truth is, he didn't quite know what that looked like except what he'd seen in the movies. But he pictured it anyway. And Ash wasn't there. Ash was in college, and then Ash was in San Fran, investing in crypto and developing apps. With some fancy degree that Fez had paid for, more than happily. He'd come by for Thanksgiving and Christmas and say hi to Kitty, laid out in a room in the farmhouse. Silent and unaware of the world she'd so sharply entered and left.
He had never really made room for someone else. Never considered anything but running the farm alone, in the brief moments he pictured it. Just like (while he knew he had Ash, a part of him would always hate that Ashtray was involved) he'd always run the business alone.
And then he noticed Lexi Howard. Not met her. He had met her before, knew of her. Didn't quite know her name, but he saw her. Saw her doe eyes and her soft smile, her tenacity for school that he could never quite understand but respected all the same. But finally, as she sat next to him at that New Year's Eve party he *saw* her. And she blew him away.
And then, this is the picture Fez sees when he closes his eyes at night:
A farm, somewhere surrounded by trees and cows and chickens and Pigs and fruits and vegetables. Somewhere where he can grow and cultivate things without the fear of a knife to the throat or a gun to the head.
And Lexi. By his side. Baby on her hip, toddler gripping her finger. Smiling softly at him as they stand on their porch in the morning sun.
And he smiles back.

I AM BACK TO WRITING FOR THESE DOLTS!!!
sorry about the hiatus, i needed to collect myself, get my ADHD under control, move out of my psycho home environment, AND NOW I AM BACK.
i know a lot of people were disappointed when my Euphoria works came down. i always intend to revamp and repost those works, but i was unhappy with the publicly finished version, and i felt the best thing to do was start from scratch.
i’m mostly planning to write one shots and AUs, but the classic stuff is coming back too.
the Pretty Girl series, Shades of Cool and Slow it Down are going to be combined into a single work - title is chosen but title is also secret because i enjoy my little games. Some of the concepts and plot points from Pretty Girl and Slow it Down - Lexi’s involvement with the illegal stuff, Suze and Fezco bonding, some of the original characters, and a lot of things regarding Faye, Maddy and Cassie - will be seen not only in this work, but in another full series I’m planning.
i’m planning to come back with a vengeance. I’m hope the people who stuck with the fandom are still interested in checking this stuff out when i post it, because it means a lot to me and i’m working really hard
thanks for being patient, thank you for the support - it’s so fucking weird to have strangers on the internet be so nice to me over fucking Euphoria smut - and most of all, thank you for reading

“Their Own Story” Lexi + Fezco (Euphoria)
Warning: Smut
Chapter 5, read the rest here:
Lexi finally got up the courage to ask her mom about going to the doctors and getting birth control.
To say it was an awkward conversation would be an understatement, as Lexi never talked to her mom about that stuff, at least, not in the way that Cassie does. Cassie was always just… comfortable with sexuality and being open about it with their mom, while Lexi was always seen as the innocent one.
“Oh!” Suze had exclaimed, swirling her glass of wine as she chuckles lightly, “of course, baby. I didn’t realize I had to worry about you too.”
“You don’t,” Lexi had rushed out, “it’s just a thought.”
Obviously, her mother wasn’t convinced, but helped her book an appointment anyways, and so a few days later, Lexi found herself sitting in a examination table, talking to a doctor about an implant that would pretty much guarantee protection.
She went in and got the procedure, an appointment opening up the next day for her to get everything over with.
“You know, if there is a guy, you can tell me,” her mom had told her when they were driving home the next day, “it always made me feel better when Cassie told me.”
“I’m not sleeping around.”
“So there is a guy?”
Lexi glances over at her mom, “maybe,” she admits quietly, “but… it’s a little complicated right now, so I don’t want to jinx anything.”
“They’re always complicated,” she chuckles, “but I’d still like to meet him.”
“Yea, I think you’d… like him.”
She gives Lexi a smile, “of course, I trust my daughter make good decision.”
Lexi just hopes that she doesn’t bring this up to Cassie, and decides to go along with it for now.
The aftermath of getting the implant was at it’s worse during the first 24 hours, telling Fez when he had asked to hang out that she was sick, texting while standing, doubled over, as she tries to open the bottle of Advil with her other hand.
It was only that night that she began to worry about what she’ll tell him, as she had gotten so wrapped up in getting everything done and over with quickly, she hadn’t really considered the after bit. Especially because she was going to be on her period as, up until this point, hadn’t been a question she had needed to get an answer for.
Was she meant to tell him before? Fuck, how would she explain that over text, she thinks to herself, wondering why this was such a problem.
Because, she was worried he’d get mad. Even thinking of it sounded out of Fez’s character, but the more that Lexi thought about it, the more she realize: they always had sex.
Was that all that this was, just… sex? Nothing more?
No, she quickly assures herself, even if they do have sex every time, it was more than that.
Not like they were dating, though, she wouldn’t call Fez her boyfriend; the thought leaving her with a weird feeling in her stomach as she wonders if she should just tell him she’s going to be busy all week.
But, then she’d be accepted the fact that she worried about it—worried about what Fez would think if she got into his car and then proceeded to tell him that she couldn’t have sex.
Unless…
Her cheeks colour in the darkness, quickly pushing the thought of sex, regardless of the circumstances to the side. She couldn’t see them… doing something like that, anyways, and she’d still have to tell him, regardless of what happens after.
She sighs, knowing deep down that the Fez she knew wasn’t about to raise his voice over something a silly as this, closing her eyes as she decides it would be best for her to get some sleep, only glancing at her phone when she hears it go off.
>> Feel better :)
Fez says, a smile twisting onto her face as she responds with a quick: thank you. As she stares down at the message she sent, she types out another one, which only contained a heart. It was another one of those things that seemed so stupid to worry over, and so she sent it without glancing down at her phone, again.
Fearless, remember? She tells herself as she falls asleep; fucking fearless. It was a simple concept in theory, but somehow still so hard to apply.
She thinks about it a lot the next day, and because she stays home from school, she has time to. Like, a lot of time. She’s staring at the ceiling when she hears the tap on the window, clutch her stomach in pain as she couldn’t remember the last time she had cramps this bad.
Turning to her side, she stares at the window in confusion, only sitting up when she hears it again, walking over to pull the blinds open just as her phone goes off.
>> Come outside.
Of course. She glances down at her appearance, still in her pyjamas with her hair pulled back in a bun, realizing only as she’s walking downstairs that the shirt was Fez’s.
“Fez!” She says as she’s stepping outside, quietly closing the door behind her as she glances around, trying to see if anyone was around, “my mom is home!”
“I wanted to see if you were okay.”
“Oh.”
She feels herself smiles, wrapping her arms around herself as the breeze makes it a little cold outside. “I-I’m fine, really. I’m just missing one day.”
“Do you like, need anything?”
“Um… I don’t think so,” she tells him, a hint of disappointment in his expression as she speaks; “but um… just, wait one second, okay? I’ll be right back.”
She rushes back inside, keeping the door open as she peaks into the hallway to find her mom asleep in the living room. She returns, “my moms like… passed out right now, if you wanted to come in for a bit. I promise I’m not contagious or anything, I just don’t feel very good.”
“I don’t wanna, like, intrude or anything.”
“No, please. I’m actually so bored right now,” she tells him honestly, waiting until he nods before pulling him inside. “Just, be quiet,” she adds, noticing how Fez observes her mom as he follows her.
“Is she like… good?”
“Oh yea,” Lexi quickly assures him, “just drunk.”
“Where’s your…”
“I don’t have a dad.” They exchange a look before Lexi realizes what she had said, “well, I do. I know my dad, he was in my life growing up and everything, but, he’s not in my life now. It’s cool though,” she adds when she catches a sense of pity in his expression, “I’ve processed it.”
Fez doesn’t respond, but nods once in understanding before they walk into her room. “All the mess is Cassies side,” Lexi explains, feeling a need to disclose that information. “But uh, yea! This is where I sleep and stuff.”
She sits down on her bed, resting her back against her headboard as she waits for Fez to make his way across the room.
“So um… how are you feeling?”
Lexi shrugs, “I’m doing alright, it’s just… like an upset stomach.”
Another quick nod, something in how Fez still stands in the middle of the room, shifting his weight, makes Lexi ask, “are you okay?”
Fez seems to be taken aback by the question, “what’d you mean? I’m… I’m good. Just wanted to see if you were okay.”
“You seem… off,” Lexi decides on going with.
“I’m… well, I guess I’m… stressed.”
“Why don’t you sit down,” Lexi suggests softly, Fez agreeing silently after Lexi adds, “my mom won’t come into my room, trust me.”
“I still feel like I’m intruding on your rest and recovery,” Fez says as he sits down next to her, “are you sure you don’t, like, need anything?”
Lexi shakes her head, feeling a little bad for not just telling him the truth, and that the only reason she wasn’t at school was because her mom told her she’d be allowed to stay home.
“Fez, really, I’m glad you’re hear,” she tells him.
“I wanted an excuse to see you,” he finally admits, “starting to miss you, and all that.”
“It’s been like… four days! I’m not that…”
“You’re not that, what?” Fez asks, “you trying to say you’re hard to miss, or something?”
Lexi tries to think of a response, of an apology for always rejecting any form of a compliment, even if it wasn’t meant to flatter her, but instead she kiss him. “No,” she says when she pulls away, “I wasn’t saying that, and I missed you too, Fez.”
He smiles, his hand steadying her by her jaw as he leans into kiss her again. Before she knew it she was straddling him, “you said you were stressed,” she murmurs against his lips.
“Don’t worry about it.”
“No, I want to help,” she tells him, mouthing his jaw, his neck; waiting till she hears the hitch in his breath before focusing on the same spot, her hand fumbling with his pants.
“Y-you don’t gotta like…” he trails off, getting lost in thought for a moment; “you’re not feelin well, Lex.”
“It’s my stomach that hurts, not my mouth.”
“Your… oh.” He watches her slide down his front, his hand just under her bun as he lets her take his cock out. “Oh,” he repeats quietly as her mouth slides down his length, her mind just happy to focus on something else rather than a bunch of fears that have no sense to them.
This; this she could manage, she could count on his reactions to be much easier to read; she could adjust accordingly. It was simple, straightforward, and she liked listening to him try and control his breath.
She liked it a lot.
Her tongue swirls the tip of his dick as she pulls up, humming as she hears the sharp gasp that escapes him, encouraging her to stay like that and jerk the rest of him off with her hand; her cheeks hallowing out as his hips shutter.
His skin swells, and Lexi moves to take as much of him as she could before going back to what she was previously focused on, “shit,” Fez hisses as her tongue curls around him; her hand steady as she strokes him with a firm grip. “Sh-shittt,” he moans out, his hand suddenly locking her head in place, his hips slamming into her as he finishes in her mouth.
It makes her stomach twist, his cock throbbing in her mouth as she continues to work him through it, her free hand wrapped around his leg to draw circles into his inner thigh with her thumb.
She swallows, wiping the corner of her mouth when his grip on her looses its strength, sitting up as he begins to utter broken apologies. “I shouldn’t have—I’m sorry. D-did I hurt you?”
“No,” she quickly assures him, “you didn’t hurt me.”
“I feel like I was forceful.”
“You didn’t hurt me,” she tells him again, “I… liked it.”
She hears him exhale slowly, his eyes a little wide as he’s still trying to re-orient himself; his body quivering as he’s sliding his dick back under his waistband. “Yea?”
She blushes, “like, I wouldn’t want you to fucking strangle me with it, but yea.”
He’s pulling her into his arms, kissing her forehead as she welcomes the embrace. She returns the gesture by kissing his cheek, his lips, the side of his head, a small chuckle sounding from him as she continues to the tip of his nose.
And then his lips are on hers, her thoughts turning to mush as she’s submersed in the feeling, only remember why she had been so stressed out when his hands start to move south.
“I… I’m good.”
“Hm?” He questions against her lips.
“You don’t need to do anything,” she tells him, “I’m good.”
“What if I wanna do something?”
“I…” she trails off, feeling her face burn, “I can’t have sex.”
He pulls back then, “what?”
She feels her heartbeat now, “I can’t have sex because of the thing in my arm.”
“Huh?”
“I’m bleeding.”
He sits up suddenly, and she closes her eyes in frustration as he begins to examine her, taking each arm to try and find what she’s talking about.
“Nono, the thing in my arm is making me… I’m not bleeding from my arms, I worded that terribly, I swear, I’m good I— I’m on my period.”
Fez takes a moment to grasp what she’s trying to say, replaying the words back in his head before furrowing his brow; “okay, that still… only explains half of that.”
“Right.”
Now it’s Lexi’s turn to sit up, “I don’t feel well today because I got this thing in my arm yesterday. It’s like… birth control, it is birth control.”
“Oh.”
“It’s not because I don’t trust you or anything, cause I do. I just wanted to get something that was more… effective, and I really didn’t want to go through what my sister went through.”
“Lex, that’s cool. Why you acting like it was something I’d get mad at?”
“Because I… wasn’t thinking clearly,” she tells him, “everything happened kinda fast and I just had this fear of… I don’t know, really.”
Lexi found it ironic as she thinks back to how she used to tell her sister how delusional she was when she’d hear the stuff Cassie worried about when it came to boys. She never saw herself caring about such silly things when it was obvious that the guy wouldn’t care, and yet here she was.
“Maybe it’s cause, you’re like, expecting people to be bad.”
Lexi watches him, “yea, you might be right, there. I think I worried you wouldn’t want to just hang out.”
“I like hanging out with you, Lex.”
“I know. I like hanging out with you, too.”
“I’m not tryna use you for anything. You think I drove all this way just to get some action from the girl who told me she was home sick? No, I wanted to see you.”
She laughs at the thought of him doing something like that, or anyone for that matter, “fuck, I’m sorry. I swear I don’t see you as being that type of person.”
“Is uh, is that why you…”
he gestures to his pants, her eyes going wide when she gets what he’s implying, “no! I just wanted to do that.”
“Aight,” he chuckles, “that’s good.”
“It’s fun,” she adds before she can help herself.
“Yea, well you look good doin’ it.”
“Thank you.” She smiles, letting him kiss her as they both lie back down, “I’m glad you came out to see me,” she whispers against him.
“you don’t understand how much I look forward to seeing your face, Lexi Howard,” Fez mutters.
She’s surprised to hear him be so upfront about it, her face beginning to hurt from smiling  “Do you want to tell me why you’re stressed?”
“I don’t wanna burden you with that shit,” Fez tells her, “I like getting to leave it all behind when I see you.”
“Yea, but if it’s follows you, I’m a good listener.”
He exhales, and Lexi can tell it’s worse than he’s letting on as he starts off by shrugging her off, “it’s nothin’, just some shit Ashtray got us into, and our way out feels like it keeps getting smaller and smaller.”
“Is that why you have some random girl always at your house?”
“Yea,” Fez chuckles, “why, were you starting to worry?”
“Um… maybe when I first saw her, but I think after talking to her I realized it would be an odd dynamic,” Lexi says, “do you think you’re going to be okay, though?”
“Not me that I’m worried about,” Fez explains, “I don’t know, Ash sometimes man, I worry.”
“You worry?”
“That like, one day he’s gunna turn into one of those guys who ain’t too cool to be around. Of course, we gotta make it outta this shit first,” he adds, “and I’m not sure how pretty it’s going to be.”
Lexi can’t help but feel her stomach drop, often forgetting the fact that this kind and rather thoughtful man was also a drug dealer, caught up in a world that solves their disputes privately, and often with casualties.
“I wish I could do something,” she admits quietly, “as ridiculous as it sounds.”
“I don’t want you doin’ anything,” he reminds her, kissing her forehead as he does so, “and I wouldn’t worry too much, I’ve been in this game for a minute now, even if it don’t look like it.”
“Yea well, I happen to like your company, so I’m always going to worry a bit,” she whispers, subconsciously moving in a little bit closer when her eyes start to feel a little heavy.
“Are you tired?”
“I’m good,” she murmurs, “don’t go, I can stay awake.”
“Nah, sleep for a bit,” he tells her, moving so that she can lie on his chest, “I’ll still be here when you wake up.”
“Just like 5 minutes,” she says as she closes her eyes, giving into the feeling of his arms pulling her into him and dozing off without another word.
It ends up being a little longer than 5 minutes, as when she wakes up Fez is still there, tucked under the covers with her with his eyes closed.
He looks at peace when he’s asleep, Lexi notes, glancing over to check the time only to realize an hour had gone by, and it was now mid-afternoon. She sees that her movement has caused Fez to stir, his eyes slowly opening as he makes sense of his surroundings.
“Hey,” she says, “we fell asleep.”
“Shit,” Fez exhales, rubbing his eye, groaning slightly as sleep still fogs his mind. “My bad.”
“It’s all good, chances are my moms still passed out so you can make your escape,” Lexi tells him, gingerly pressing a kiss to his cheek just to watch him smile.
“So, when can I see you, again?” He asks.
“I have to go to Maddy’s birthday party tomorrow,” Lexi explains, “but if you want to hang out the day after that I’d be free.”
“For sure,” Fez agrees, Lexi checking to make sure her moms still asleep before leading him out of the door. He gives her one last kiss before he leaves, his touch lingering on her lips as she returns inside and decides on getting the last of school work done while she has the time.
Fez wonders on the drive home how he had managed to fall asleep in her bed. It obviously wasn’t like she was a stranger or anything, but he couldn’t remember the last time he slept in a bed that wasn’t his own.
It was… a bad idea on his part, he knew that. His profession created certain boundaries he wasn’t meant to cross if he wanted to stay alive, and letting your guard down like that was one of them.
That, of course, was only part of his mind talking—the part that kept his grandmas words trapped in a little box to offer to him every once in a while. The part he didn’t like to hear.
When Fez got home, he felt all of his problems hit him square on in the chest as he walked through the front door, Ashtray waiting for him as he wants to hear the story again: everything that Fez has been told right from the beginning.
He’s probably explained it to Ash 7 or 8 times, how people are starting to ask question, how Fez doesn’t really see a way out of this right now.
He hated telling the same shit to Ash, especially cause he always listens like Fez is going to tell him something new, something to work with, but instead, he ends up just retreating to his room when Fez is done.
The problem was that this type of business isn’t something that they can just leave, and it wasn’t even like Fez had ever considered leaving until recently. This was what he grew up doing, it was his grandmas legacy that he’s supposed to continue on, his way of paying it back to her. He always knew it was dangerous work, which was why he never wanted to get involved in more, he didn’t want to guilt of forcing more shit in peoples face, he didn’t want to target on his back.
The problem was, he had no ambition to do anything else, and this was all he knew how to do.
What could he do?
He knew math, what could he do with that? Be an accountant?
He makes himself laugh at that one, the thought of him dressing in a suit and tie and working 9 to 5, speaking all proper, eating one of those kale salads for lunch every day, coming home to…
His smile drops, the image lingers; watching her study for a test on the kitchen table, her eyes brightening when she notices him in the door.
He shuts his eyes in hopes it’ll push the thought away, knowing deep down that the only reason he’s even considering something else right now is because of her.
The only instinct you cannot trust.
He should know better than to keep feeding into this thing that twists reality with fiction, trying to remind himself just how ridiculous it’d be for him to actually want something like he’s pictured. Because he didn’t want it, he just wanted her.
Not that that was much better.
He tries to focus on his work the next day, going out of his way to meet people who contact him, being civil and all that. He finds it hard to engage, especially with everything on his mind, and so when he gets an update on how Lexi’s night is going he can help but feel a little better.
Even if it was her telling him how drunk her sister had gotten.
The next day, he picked her up around 7, deciding against going back to his house as they always do, and driving to the park instead.
She wore jeans and a turtleneck, Fez smiling a bit to himself as his hand sides into her back pocket.
“What are you doing,” she teases, Fez playing her question off with an innocent shrug as she turns to face him, his arm wrapping around her in the process.
“I like your jeans,” Fez states indifferently, watching her as she kisses him, wondering how it’s so easy for him to forget about why he was so worried.
Her eyes travel past him, Fez noticing her smile waver as she sees something that makes her brow furrow in confusion.
“What is it?”
“That’s Nate Jacobs car.”
Fez turns then to see what the big deal was, his eyebrows raising as everyone seems to lock eyes at once, looking right at Lexi’s sister in the passenger seat as they’re stopped at a red light. “Is that…”
“What the fuck is she doing with him,” Lexi exclaims softly, starting to step towards them just as they drive off, Fez instinctively holding her back as if she were about to start running after them.
“We have to see where they are going,” Lexi breathes out, even though he has a sneaking suspicion that she already knew.
But they get into the car and drive after them regardless, Fez making sure to keep his distance as he wasn’t too keen on getting involved with that fucking bitch again. But he’d do it for Lexi, and he wishes he could just protect her from all this stuff, like he could go back in time and cover her eyes so that he wouldn’t have to watch her now as her hands clasp together in her lap; her chest heaving in nervousness.
“She couldn’t be that stupid, right?”
“I don’t really know her.”
“Maddy has been her best friend since, like, forever. She wouldn’t do that to her, right?”
Fez stays quiet, not really about to lie to her face as they pull up to where the truck was parked—which was down some abandoned lane.
“Um… we can investigate on foot, but like, that might not be the best idea,” Fez suggests a little awkwardly, “is that something you…”
“She’s seriously fucking Nate Jacobs?”
He doesn’t quite know how to respond to that one, glancing over at her as her hand covers her mouth, “could be why she’s been acting weird, and all that.”
“Where’s the closest grocery store?”
“The closest… um, prolly like 5 minutes from here.”
“Can you take me there?”
He nods, driving off without saying another word, watching her storm out of the car when they get there, and return a few minutes later with a carton of eggs.
“You really think that’s the best idea?” Fez asks as she asks him to take her back to the truck.
“You’re telling me you’ll beat Nate Jacobs nearly to death, but wont throw an egg at his car?”
“It ain’t just gunna be me, though.”
He knew he could just keep Lexi within arms reach at all times, and so he worried what would happen to her if he wasn’t there. He liked being able to protect her, it was how he justified being with her now, but he also liked the knowledge that Lexi didn’t exactly have a ton of enemies to deal with when he wasn’t around, he wasn’t too comfortable with her making Nate one of them.
“I can handle Nate Jacobs.”
“Aight.” Fez drives her back to the truck, knowing it was useless to argue when she had her mind made up, forced to deal with the fact that he cannot shelter her from the world as he parks a little further down the road this time. ”‘Kay, pass me an egg,” he says, when they find a hiding spot, watching her throw the first one to hit the side mirror before nailing the back window.
He hears her let out a laugh before she can stop it, throwing the next one with a little bit more energy, popping back down next to him as they hide behind what looks to be some pile of lumber.
He throws another one, feeling the adrenaline starting to take effect as they become a little more careless with their voice, ducking down when Nate and Cassie suddenly appear in the window.
“Oh my God,” Lexi wheezes, “they’re naked!”
Before Fez can help himself, he laughs, clutching his chest as Lexi chucks another egg, watching her with great fascination as he passes her the last one. He hears the car alarm go off, and the two begin to stumble back to the car as they abandon all restraint and let the night be filled with their voice; Lexi still cackling as she slides into the passenger seat and Fez starts the car.
“Drive!” She screeches, as if Nate was right behind them, repeating herself as the car starts to move with a breathless laugh. “I can’t believe we just did that!”
“Fucking hell, Lexi Howard,” Fez chuckles, “you really are something, aren’t you.”
She turns the music up, some classic rock song playing, which forces Fez to raise his voice when he asks her if she wants to go back to the park or something.
“Yea!” She exclaims, just as an idea comes to him and he’s making a right turn. “Wait, where are we going?”
“I’m hungry,” he tells her, “wanna get food first?”
“Okay!”
They end up getting Thai, which was good with Fez because he liked the little packages that they always come it, and the owner was a cool guy who always recognized him when he came in.
“Fez-CO, how are you doing?” He asks as Lexi’s telling the cashier what she wants. “Whose this?”
“Oh, this is Lexi,” Fez tells him, “Lexi, this is Tom.”
“Hi,” she says, smiling brightly as she shakes his hand, “how are you?”
“I’m good, how are you my dear?”
“Good.”
He turns to Fez, “very polite, I like her. Now, would you like your usual?”
“Yes sir,” he says, taking out some cash to hand to the lady that’s taking their order before Tom goes back to the kitchen to prepare their order.
“He’s nice,” Lexi notes once he’s gone, “have you been coming here for a while?”
“Small business’ gotta support each other,” Fez tells her with a smile, “he buys weed from me every once in a while.”
She grins; “that’s awesome.”
He leans down and kisses her cheek.
They eat in the park, Lexi smoking a bit of the joint Fez had rolled as she finishes her food.
“Do you wanna stay over?” He asks her once they’re done.
She looks over at him, “just to sleep?” He nods, her eyes lighting up even now in the dark; “yea, I’ll just have to go home real quick to let my mom know.”
“Cool.”
He wonders at what point should he consider the fact that they weren’t exactly a casual thing anymore as he sits in the car, waiting for Lexi to reemerge from her house. It then prompts the question of if they ever were casual in the first place, Fez partly aware of the fact that casual hookups weren’t meant to make you fumble every second word.
It was never casual, he decides, and he was okay with admitting that, smiling to himself as Lexi returns, skipping back to the car.
“I think I’m a little higher than I previously thought,” she giggles as she puts her seatbelt on, “but my mom was definitely way too drunk to notice, anyways.”
The last bit of her statement makes him grimace slightly, but rather than bringing up such a heavy topic right then and there, he drives home.
They fall asleep not long after getting in, Fez staring at the ceiling as Lexi closes her eyes, wondering how he was falling for her so fast; wondering why he hasn’t tried to stop himself.
Lexi had never been more excited when she finally woke up to find that her period was officially over. Sure, it was nice of Fez to not want to do anything where she didn’t feel comfortable with him reciprocating, but it had proven to be more difficult that she had expected it to be.
To say her imagination was starting to run wild would be an understatement.
“Hey Lexi, you still here?”
She snaps back to reality as Rue waves her hand in front of her face as they stand by her locker, “I was asking how Fez is?” Rue says, “cause, like, you’re together?”
“Right.”
“So you guys are together.”
 “Yes.”
Lexi wonders if she was too confident in her answer, but all Rue does was laugh, “that’s still fucking crazy to me, man.”
“Why? Because he’s a drug dealer?”
“No, cause it’s Fez! He’s like the older brother you fight with all the time, but he buys you weed and makes up for it,” Rue explains.
“Erm… well I’m not sure if I exactly see him in that way.”
“Obviously,” Rue chuckles, “so, how do you see him?”
“What do you mean?”
“Are you guys like… together, together?”
“Huh?”
“You guys have had sex?”
“Oh my God, Rue,” Lexi exclaims in a low voice, burying her head in her locker as she never thought she’d be having this conversation with her; “yes, we’ve had sex.”
“Is he good?”
“I mean… yea,” Lexi tells her, not quite sure how else to put it. Sure, she hadn’t had much experience to know the difference between good and bad, and yet, she’s pretty sure she could tell where he fell in the department. “Rue, I thought you just said he was like your brother, isn’t it like, a little weird to hear this?”
“I’m too fascinated by this to care about that right now,” Rue says, “and I took a shit ton of Valium.”
“Oh.”
“So… are you guys, like, dating?”
“I don’t really know,” Lexi admits, “I’m just sorta going with it.”
“Good way to be.”
For a second Lexi considers telling Rue who she saw Cassie with, but decides against it, not willing to push the tension she has with her sister any closer to the edge.
When Cassie had finally spoken to Lexi, she had been furious for how Lexi had handled the situation, calling her childish and immature; the whole thing resulting in a screaming match that even had their mom raising her voice to try and get them to settle down.
She wasn’t sure which she hated more, when they were yelling at one another, or when they were silent.
The day drags on, Lexi already ready to go home after 2nd period, so it feels like an eternity as she waited for that final bell to ring.
She had texted Fez on her way home, knowing that Fridays always go late for him, especially after Ashtray gave him shit for slacking off recently. So she doesn’t complain, knowing that it wasn’t her place to get in between someone and their income, no matter how such income was acquired.
The funny thing was, the whole drug thing didn’t bother her as much as she had thought it would, as one would think that having people like Rue or her dad in her life would make her resent the people selling to them in the first place. For some reason Fez never seemed like the problem to her, and maybe it was because he no longer sells to Rue, or maybe she’s biased because she likes him, but the only real reason why she doesn’t like his job is because she worries he’ll get hurt.
Fez had told her to come to the gas station around 10:30, and so she had spent the evening getting ready, even stealing one of Cassies face masks for the hell of it.
She listened to music as she walked down the empty streets, passing by a house party once or twice on her way. She hadn’t even noticed Daniel until he had tapped her on the shoulder, Lexi nearly jumping out of her skin when she realized that someone had been walking a few paces behind her.
She rips her headphones out, “um… hello?”
“You’re Cassie’s sister, right? Lexi.”
Her mind blanks on who this guy was until he tells her; Daniel, Lexi remembers the shit that happened while Cassie had been with McKay.
“Yea,” Lexi tells him, glancing down the road to see how close she was to the gas station.
“Where are you off to, tonight?”
“Just… to the store,” she says, beginning to turn back in an attempt to get away from the strange conversation, surprised to find that as she goes to leave he reaches out and grabs her by the wrist. “What the fuck,” she states, “let go of me.”
“Wow, and here I thought you were the timid version of Cassie,” Daniel chuckles, still not letting go of her arm, “it must just be the vibes you give off.”
“What vibes?”
“Are you as desperate as your sister was?”
“Cassie was never fucking desperate, you were,” Lexi fires back, yanking her arm out of his grasp.
Daniel laughs as Lexi begins to storm off, her heart pounding in her chest as she suddenly feels his hands on her waist, muttering something about how she might compare to her sister right before she hears a thump; turning to see Ashtray slam the hilt of a shotgun into Daniels face.
She steps back to watch Daniel stumble to the ground with a groan. But, before she can even react Ashtray’s turning to her, “are you fucking dumb or something, never turn your back like that.”
“I… what are you doing here?”
“I followed you.”
“You…” her eyes fall on familiar car parked on the other side of the road. ”Why would you do that?”
“Because,” Ashtray states, “you’ve got no awareness of your surroundings. You know that guy’s been following you since the house party two streets back?”
“That still doesn’t answer my question,” Lexi insists, following the kid back to the car.
“Look, if something were to happen to you, Fez wouldn’t be too happy about it,” Ashtray explains as he starts the car, “which is unfortunate, because you didn’t notice the fucking car that’s been tailing you since you left your house.”
“Okay, well forgive me for not expecting to be followed!”
“Then, you’re not as smart as Fez says you are, cause that’s the dumbest fucking shit I’ve ever heard,” Ashtray scoffs.
“That has literally never happened to me before,” Lexi tells him, slightly insulted by this child whose calling her an idiot, “did you follow me just to shit on my street smarts?”
“No, I followed you cause Fez would take it as a personal failure if something happened to you, even if it had nothin to do with him. Thought I already explained that part,” Ashtray says as he pulls up to the gas station, parking the car, “and cause you’re a walking disaster.”
“Thanks,” she says, her voice dripping with sarcasm as she gets out of the car and follows him inside, still a little thrown off by the whole interaction.
Did he just… protect her?
Either way, she pushes it aside when Fez comes to the front to greet her, Ashtray begrudgingly allowing him to head home earlier as long as he switches out at 2 AM.
So, they drive back to his place, Lexi talking about Cassie and her play, while Fez told her about this guy who put on a ‘performative dance’ in an attempt to get a discount on some Xanax.
It was probably a lot less funny than she found it, but something about the image of Fez watching in mild horror made the whole thing sound that much more comical. “It was fucking awkward, man,” Fez had insisted when she had started to laugh, “I didn’t know what to fucking do.”
“Did you grade him like they do on dancing with the stars?”
“No I didn’t fucking grade him,” Fez exclaims, however, she hears him clear his throat to stifle the short chuckle that escapes him.
When they get to his place, Lexi can feel her pulse in the pads of her fingers, listening to her breath as she watches him open the door and lead her inside. It had been well over a week at this point since that day they had fallen asleep in her bed—the birth control now at its full effect—and by now, she was tired of admiring him from afar.
She knew it was bad when watching him unlock a door turned her on. What’s worse was that he noticed, the corner of his mouth turning upwards as their eyes meet, “why you starin’ at me like that?” He teases as he closes the door behind him.
“Like what?”
His hand reaches out to cup the side of her face, “like you tryna start something, with those eyes of yours.”
“Maybe I am.”
He shakes his head, waiting till she had taken off her shoes before pulling her into him, her head falls back when he kisses her, her body making a noise as her back hits the wall. She hears his rushed apology, cradling her head to make sure she was okay.
She feels him against her, pressing into her inner thigh, her voice high in anticipation as she moans against his mouth. It ignites her, enticing her into wanting more as she tries to relieve some of the tension by rolling her hips into him.
“You want it?” He whispers as his hands slide under her top, his fingers rough as he runs them down her sides. “You good to like…”
“Yea,” she responds quietly, listening to his ragged exhale as she rubs him through the material of his pants. “Yea,” she repeats as he kisses her neck, using his body as a way to steady herself as she wraps her free arm around him.
He leads her to the bedroom, and they’re already starting to undress each other as they make their way down the hall; knocking into the walls on occasion.
“You’re so good,” he’s telling her as they fall onto the bed, getting the last of her clothes off as she does the same to him. “You’re so f-fuckin good.”
She whines, his name on her tongue as her legs come up to hastily wrap around his hips, pulling him closer as his head dips down and he mouths her breast, his hand coming down to find satisfaction in what resided between her legs; how wet she was, how she greeted his touch with a laboured moan.
“Oh my God, Fez, p-please,” Lexi gasps, like she was underwater and just coming up to breath, “I-I want it,” she tells him, “I want you; it’s been so long.”
“I know, sweetheart,” he breathes out, “I’ve been dying to fuck you.”
Their lips connect as Fez asks, “you want me like this?”
She nods, “you can fuck me like this,” she responds, “you can cum in me too, it’s taken care of.”
He goes stiff, whatever he was about to say getting stifled by the noise he makes instead, his thumb still on her clit as he shifts back slightly. She watches his tortured expression as he lines his cock up to sink into her, the same high gasp escaping them both when he does, his forehead dropping to press against hers.
He pulls out, letting her take air into her lungs before slamming back into her, crushing said air as his hips snap and his hold locks her in place, beginning to pound into her relentlessly as she gulps back a helpless attempt at inhaling.
The air burns, his thumb bumping up against her clit whenever he moves, Lexi slowly finding it in her to meet his thrusts just as he plants one foot on the mattress, deepening the already suffocating movement as she writhes; shamelessly grinding into him as he starts to hit the spot that has her seeing stars.
“I-I’m gunna, I’m gunna cum,” she cries out, Fezco’s thumb beginning to quicken as he works into her, “F-fez, oh my God I’m—”
Her voice cuts out as it tears through her, blinding her; burning a hole through the pit of her stomach. Her back arches as she rocks into him, suddenly going slack with a shudder as she finds her voice, letting out a low sob as he fucks her through her high with a grunt.
“Y’get so fucking tight when you cum,” he grits out, his thumb only partially easing up on her as their eyes lock, “s-so fuckin tight.”
She clamps down around his dick, fighting against the pleasure that claws at her skin as it crushes her from the inside, begging for something to give as she feels his hand move to wrap around her neck.
“That’s it, like that,” he tells her as she whines helplessly, the sensation drowning any last thoughts she might have. “So. Fuckin. Perfect,” he’s hissing as she reaches for the base of his scull, “my fuckin girl; so good for me.”
She feels it only seconds before she cums, her only words of warning a sharp, “oh fuck,” that rips from her throat, giving her enough time to watch Fez’s as he starts to drill into her. A ragged sob escapes her as his hand tightens to restrict the blood flow to her head even more, her body lurching forward to hold him flush to her chest, her mind focused only on telling him one thing: “cum in me.”
She’s still pulsing around him when he does, feeling his entire body spasm as he whimpers, Lexi clenching around his cock as it grinds into her, milking every last drop of himself out with his hands holding her still.
Lexi waits for her body to stop feeling like static as the two try to regain a proper grasp of their senses, Fez shifting to his side after a moment so that he wouldn’t crush her, slowly sitting up, only to glance over at what lies between her legs.
She laughs as he tries to play it off, blushing as he turns away with a sheepish look on his face, while Lexi pulls her legs apart and tells him that she doesn’t mind.
He doesn’t need to be assured twice, taking her by her leg and yanking her into his direction, making her squeal as he eagerly stares at his handiwork in satisfaction.
“Not gunna lie,” he says after a moment, “I’m likin this birth control, already.”
