Felicity couldn’t help but take a sharp breath when he grabbed her waist in the way he did, suddenly feeling the strangers fingers on her back had sent electricity down her spine - and it wasn’t just because of the alcohol. She tilted her head slightly when he made the comment about her being cut off for the night, “that’s not fair, the nights just started” she smiled, before accepting his offer of a dance. It wasn’t the type of dancing she was used to, though she always loved the idea of a waltz, before things had gone downhill in her childhood her father and her would often, ‘practice’ in their living room, but that was when she could still almost stand on his feet, on purpose. Since then, her dancing abilities only included whatever club she went to with her friends at the weekends.

“I’m offended and flattered at the same time…” she replied, when he commented about her not belonging there, and then calling her beautiful. Her eyes looked at him with a curious expression, one that read you really are a flirt…but you’re a good one. She did her best that night to seem like part of the pack, the gold jewellery that fell at her neck had been her mothers, and the dark red dress that fell to her ankles was bought especially for this occasion. Not because she had wanted a special one for the event, but because she didn’t have something in her closet in her apartment that was in anyway suited to a New York Black Tie Wedding which was hosted in one of the cities most historical and glamorous buildings.

Despite her lack of practice, she moved with ease in the man’s arms, he lead her like water, like it was nothing to him to dance. She let him take full control of their movements, and she focused solely on his face. He was a handsome man, possibly the most handsome man at the wedding. “But you’re right” she said, admitting defeat, she couldn’t help but smile at his boldness however. “Truth be told I’m not even sure why I’m here” she said, her eyes on his to gauge his reaction. He did ask her to dance, so he can’t be too much of a snob. “I’ve had two conversations with the bride in the past, and one with the groom…in which he hit on me, so I was surprised to have still gotten the invite” she said, a voice a little lower as she told him, like a little secret she’d pass to him.

“I’m a painter, and a few months back I did some commissions for the bride and her family…she liked them, and asked me to come here tonight, I imagine because she thinks it’s cool to have someone artsy here” sarcasm dripped from her tongue as she rationalised the invite she’d received. “I could be wrong but I think the average profession here seems to be Head of Posh Bank…Monarch of small Nation…soccer player” she said, and her eyes glanced around the room, as if to confirm her point. “And you…a handsome man across the room who came over to ask me to dance, and to cut me off…” she smiled, “you know my reasoning for being here now…what’s yours?” She asked flirtatiously.

S04E09: Best Gift Ever

Pairing: Felicity x Ethan from The Adventures of You and Me

Prompt: Fluff Bingo - Gifts

Felicity and Ethan have always traveled together since they got together until one time that Felicity got sick. They were supposed to leave to Italy for one of their tours for work. Unfortunately, Felicity started to vomit every morning until the day before their flight.

Even if she didn't want to be left behind, she encouraged Ethan to go without her. It's going to be his first time to travel alone again since he married Felicity.

It's ironic how he was in the city of love and yet he wasn't with the love of his life. When the camera is on, Ethan tried his best to plaster a big smile for the audience. But even the camera crew noticed how his smile fades away after the camera is turned off.

"Miss mo na, 'no?"

Napangiti na lang si Ethan. He promised himself to call Felicity when he reaches his hotel room.

As they toured along different tourist spots, they decided to stop at this small souvenir shop. Ethan saw a tiny keychain with a design of the Eiffel tower. Naalala niya si Felicity dahil dito. Gustong-gusto pa naman sana niyang pumunta roon saka mag-picture.

Maybe now's not the right time for them to have that picture. Sa susunod na lang siguro.

This trip to Paris was the longest three-day trip Ethan had just because Felicity wasn't with him. Parang ayaw na niyang umulit na umalis ng ibang bansa kung hindi naman ito kasama.

Kaya pagkauwi ni Ethan sa bahay nila ni Felicity ay sinalubong niya ito agad ng mahigpit na yakap. "I missed you so much, my love."

Felicity ruffled his hair and kissed him. "I miss you so much more than you could imagine."

When they broke the hug, Ethan remembered that he bought something for her. "I got you something from Paris." Agad niyang nilabas ang keychain na binili niya sa bag niya.

The sight of that tiny keychain instantly brightened Felicity's face. She immediately attacked him with the tightest embrace she could give. Leaning on his chest while looking up to him, she whispered, "I also have a gift for you."

Nagtaka naman si Ethan doon kasi wala namang okasyon para bigyan siya nito ng regalo. "Gift for what?"

Felicity shrugged. "Wala lang. Just because." Then, she ran towards her drawer and hid her gift from her behind.

She handed him a long velvet bag. He thought of the possible gifts that was inside the bag. It could possibly be a ballpoint pen, eyeglasses, or maybe even a jewelry.

Ethan opened the bag by loosening up the ropes at the opening. Upon feeling the item inside, it was solid hard. As he removed the bag from the item, it revealed a pregnancy stick.

Natigilan si Ethan sa nakita niya. At first, he looked so confused as to why Felicity would give him something like that. But when he focused on the results of the pregnancy test, his face went from confused to overwhelmingly joyful.

"Welcome back, Daddy."

"Best gift ever!"

What's in a Name?~ Alexandra Rose Spencer

Alexandra

Origin: Greek, feminine form of Alexander, derived from alexein

Meaning: "defender of men"

Why I chose it: I adore the name Alex and all variations of the name. It's one of my favorites which is why I chose it for my pen name... I have a complete unpublished manuscript from several years ago. Maybe one day I'll do something with it, but until then, I decided to give Alex her name because it means something to me

Rose

Origin: Latin

Meaning: rose, a flower

Why I chose it: My grandmother's name was Rose, when she passed I decided to remember her through Alex by giving her Rose as a middle name

Spencer

Origin: English

Meaning: derived from the Old French despensier, a steward

Why I chose it: One of my favorite TV shows of all time is Psych, so I gave her the last name Spencer after Shawn Spencer.

Nicknames: primarily Alex, she did try going by Lexi and Lex when she was in middle school, but decided they weren't for her

Parents + Home: Henry and Laura Spencer Henry and Laura were high school sweethearts, but waited to get married until after college. They had one child, Alex. Laura had some complications during her pregnancy and childbirth so her and Henry didn't want to risk another. They were okay with it, because they loved Alex with all they were.

Unfortunately, Henry had a sudden and unexpected heart attack when Alex was 12 and passed away. It was hard for Alex and her mom. Alex turned her pain into her drama and theatre performances. Through the friends she made there, she found an amazing support system.

Laura is a nurse. Henry was an architect.

Bryce and Olivia are both left handed, so when Malia was born, they naturally tried to teach her using her left hand. Malia struggled some with it but always tried her best. In school, Malia's teachers taught her right handed. Malia just thought at school things were one way and at home there was another. She ended up ambidextrous because of it. It took a while for everyone to realize she was using different hands to write/color at home and at school. Malia is more skilled and talented with her fingers/hands than Bryce.

Ethan x Ellie

Every year on the anniversary of the attack, Ethan plans a special surprise for Ellie. It changes every year, it could be a big getaway to take her mind off of it, breakfast in bed to start her day right, or even just a quiet day at home with their favorite hot beverages and books/movies. Even though Ellie has come a long way with her PTSD, she never fully recovers, the lingering trauma pops out every now and then, especially around the anniversary.

Thomas x Alex

This headcanon I've had since the very beginning of Baby Hunt. When I first started writing for their family I had a few key things I knew I wanted to write or that would happen. One is that Thomas and Alex would have twins (one girl and one boy). They would be hidden twins where one blocks the other so you don't know until later than usual that there are twins. I also headcanoned that Alex's pregnancy isn't easy toward the end. Her first two trimesters are normal but the last trimester is really rough to the point of almost losing the twins leading Alex to finishing her pregnancy with full bedrest. There was also discussion of delivering the twins early to ensure nothing happened to Alex, but she wouldn't hear of it, since their survival wasn't guaranteed.

I've never said if Thomas and Alex have more children. I know they don't for a while. I've written the twins up until 4 years old already. The reason they've never discussed having more kids yet is because the pregnancy was so challenging.

But clearly I've never actually written this because everything is always sunshine or at least warm cuddles of comfort for them and every time I try to write this it hurts too much. The thought of them almost losing Felicity and Vincent is just too much 😭😭😭😭 I love my babiessss

Mal x Daenarya

ahh okay, so I don't know if this is so much a headcanon or a slash fic I want to write... So I headcanon Daenarya as bisexual (Mal too). Daenarya definitely had a crush on Nia even though she and Mal had an instant connection. One night after too many bottles of sweet wine, Nia and Daenarya kiss... which leads to more heated kissing... and more... which only turns Mal on more and the three of them end up spending a very long, incredible night together. 🙈

Go to bed? Who did she think she was? His mother? That bitch never cared about his rest so why should she? He was fine. Sure he'd just shown up at her apartment, hammered, at three in the morning after a night out with the boys - one that secretly celebrated a succesful night of hunting. But Ethan had done this a million times before. Exhaustion was never a factor. Besides he would sleep better, after.

He huffed her way and shook his head. "What makes you think I'll listen to orders?" he asked playfully, slurring his words slightly. "I didn't come here to sleep," he said as he partially stumbled to her and grabbed her hips. He giggled a little as their steps shuffled them back into the wall. "I came here to have more fun," he told her with a smirk, momentarily leaning in closer.

He leaned back enough for his eyes to focus on her and stared almost adoringly her way. His grip on her hip tightened, though weekened by the alcohol, and he had to work at keeping their balance - even with the wall's aide. What little memory function he had at the moment replayed the night's events. Jessica. How exquisite she she had been during their session. He licked at his lips with desire as he remembered how it felt to watch the light fade from her eyes. Drinking with guys had only been a way to keep the rush going. He'd only been looking to get drunk and have some tinder bitch blow him.

The more the alcohol flowed, however, only one girl came to mind. Felicity. His mind always went back to her. Then so did his words - more than once being given shit by Tanner over how much he was talking about her. His heart had begun to race over how much he wished he could let her in on all of his secrets. And the longer the two of them had their little agreement going, the harder it was to deny his desire to feel the rush of having her by his side.

He lazily brought his to her cheek and held himself as steady as he could. "And I wanna have it with you," he said before kissing her.

The true meaning of his words would remain lost to her, Felicity still in the dark about his inner monster, and for the time being he intended to keep it that way. He wasn't ready to do what he had to when she inevitably rejected once he brought it to light. Even if he wouldn't admit it to her outright just yet, he liked her too much to add her to his list of victims. And he'd yet to admit even to himself that he wouldn't be able to handle being the reason for losing her.

Felicity always felt sophisticated when she held a martini in her hand, and at the wedding of one of her friends friend, who seemed to be one of the wealthiest people in New York, she sat at one of the round tables and sipped from a glass. She tried to blend in with the crowd, though, these events were not usually her style, in fact, she’d never even been to a wedding before this. But there seemed to be a guest list, and somehow, she was on it.

She laughed with some of the people at the table, and when the clinking of the grooms glass rang through the hall, she turned to face outwards. As the speeches began her eyes drifted to some of the others, all of whom she didn’t know, and stopped when she caught the eye of a man sitting at one of the tables towards the back. She looked away immediately, blushing that she had been caught staring, and after a moment looked again only to find that his gaze hadn’t averted. She couldn’t help but smile into her martini glass, trying to cover the smirk that threatened at her lips. For the rest of the speeches she kept stealing glances over at the dark haired man, he was gorgeous, and after a few more sips of her drink winked at him at one point.

She turned her attention back to her present company but felt that the atmosphere in the room had shifted, at least internally. There was a gorgeous man looking at her, in a beautiful room, while she was a dolled up as she was going to get…and suddenly the night seemed a little more exciting.

The music started, and suddenly she was talking a little louder than before to her friends to hear each other over the speakers. “I’ll get this round” she said as she rose to her feet, but as she stood and turned out of her chair she bumped into someone who had been standing behind her, as if ready to approach her. The stranger moved to steady the girl, his hand falling to her waist. It was a move that made the hairs stand on the back of her neck. She looked to see it was the man from across the room, and she couldn’t help but laugh gently. “I was wondering if you were going to come over” she said, as he helped her back to having her two feet firmly on the ground, or as firm as possible in heels. She felt his hand reach out and tuck a piece of hair that had come loose, and it was a gesture that made her smile and look away, her eyes rolling slightly to heaven. “He’s as charming as he is good looking” she was surprised at how flirty she had become already, but there was something about him.

The next song started, a jazzy vibe to go with the wedding theme, as if it was something from the 1920s and she watched as the man extended his hand for her to take it. “Fine…but I warn you that dancing isn’t really my style” she said and allowed him to lead her to the dance floor. “I’ll get the round later” Felicity called to her friends before she turned to place one hand on the man’s shoulder, and the other in the palm of his.

S02E05: For A Lifetime

Pairing: Felicity x Ethan from The Adventures of You and Me

Other Characters: Austin, Rafael, Yara

Prompt: Ex-lovers FelThan AU

Her days away from Ethan was the most dreadful days of her life and that's got to stop now.

"Miss, may I know what's the room number of Mr. Ethan Adrian Castellano?" she asked the concierge since she can't really find Austin.

"I'm sorry but I can't disclose that information to you, Ma'am," she told her. "Do you want me to call him instead in his room?"

"Yes, please," Felicity requested. She started pacing back and forth as she fidgets on the necklace that Ethan once gave her.

"I'm sorry, Ma'am. I have overlooked at Mr. Castellano's booking. It says on our record that he has checked out of his room an hour ago," the concierge informed her.

As she heard the concierge, she can't help but start panicking. "Thank you, Miss!" she managed to say before running out of Balai.

Luckily, she was able to hail a cab right after she went out of the lobby. "McCarran International Airport, please. I'm trying to catch a plane so, please, double time."

While she's on her trip to the airport, she quickly booked herself a ticket so she won't have a trouble in entering the airport just in case he was already checked in. After she secured a plane ticket, she receives a call from Austin.

"Hey, I just saw you sprinting outside the lobby. What's wrong?" bungad nito sa kanya.

"Ethan's leaving," Felicity replied. "Do you have his number? Please, I need to call him."

"Where are you going, Fel?"

"Of course, I'll run after him! I can't let him leave me anymore," hingal na sabi ni Felicity.

Austin smiled victoriously. "I knew it."

Felicity rolled her eyes with Austin's judgmental remark. "Oh, c'mon! Mamaya mo na ako pagalitan. Give me his phone number already!"

Austin chuckled at Felicity's impatience. "Fine, fine! I'll text it to you."

"Thank you!"

Ibababa na sana ni Felicity ang tawag nang tawagin ulit siya ni Austin, "Fel."

"Oh?"

"I hope you won't be lost anymore." Felicity smiled as Austin ended the call.

* * *

As Ethan was cleared at the immigration, he immediately put his phone to airplane mode to conserve his phone battery. Tutal, wala naman na siyang ibang titignan online. He put his earphones on to listen to some audiobooks in his phone to keep himself from getting bored.

He thought it was enough for him not to think of Felicity. Since the interview they had last time, he can't shake her out of his mind. Not that he hasn't been thinking about her even before the interview. She never went out of his mind. But seeing her for the first time after their break-up made him wonder what could've happened if only he stayed beside her.

It's not that he wanted to leave her but they both knew he had to. Akala niya makakalimutan niya si Felicity kung hindi niya ito makakasama palagi. Akala niya hindi na niya maaalalang mahal pa rin niya si Felicity pagkatapos ng lahat ng nangyari.

For the entire year of their break-up, Ethan kept coming back to Nevada. He would visit the places they have gone to when they were still together. He knew he can't visit Felicity anymore. He thought visiting the most precious places for the both of them would suffice for his longing. But seeing her again in the place where they actually started made him long for her more.

Naisip niyang makipagbalikan kay Felicity pero mukhang masaya na siya kay Austin kaya hindi na niya ito tinangkang gawin. Masasaktan lang niya ang sarili niya lalo na't alam niyang si Austin na ang nagpapasaya sa kanya.

That's why he chose to leave Nevada already. Hindi niya kakayanin pang tumagal doon habang alam niya na nandun din si Felicity na kasama si Austin. Hindi siya ganun kamartir para saktan ang sarili niya nang ganun.

His thoughts was cut short when the people started to stand up from their seats at the waiting area. Boarding na pala.

He turned his audiobook and airplane mode off to compose a message to his friends, Rafael and Yara.

Ethan: We'll be boarding in a few minutes. Take care, guys.

Rafael: Safe skies, bro!

Yara: Ingat, Castellano! Text us when you land.

Papatayin na sana ni Ethan yung phone niya nang may natanggap siyang tawag mula sa unknown number. Even thought he thought it was sketchy, he still answered it. "Hello? Who's this?"

"Hay salamat!" the caller exclaimed. "Ethan, please don't leave," hingal na hingal na sabi nito.

Even after all of these years, her phone voice was still familiar to him. "Felicity?"

"Please don't leave me anymore, Ethan. I know I made a mistake letting you go before but please," her voice started breaking, "please stay for me this time. Stay with me."

Napahinto siya sa paglalakad nang marinig niya ang boses ni Felicity na nanginginig, tila nagmamakaawa na sa kanya. Until now, it's still one of his greatest weakness. "Please don't cry."

"Ethan, please." Now, he knows that she's crying a river with her frequent sobs. "Huwag kang umalis, please. Parang awa mo na. Kakayanin ko naman ng wala ka pero ayaw ko na wala ka."

He turned around and there he saw Felicity crying at the waiting area. As the passengers walk towards the tube, he walked towards the opposite direction and made his way back to the waiting area.

Hinarang pa siya nang makabalik siya. "Sir, we'll be departing soon."

"I know. If I don't come back in time, you can leave me behind," sabi ni Ethan dito.

He immediately made his way to Felicity. He cupped her face and wiped away her tears. "Hush, don't cry anymore."

"Huwag ka nang umalis, please," she begged him.

"I have to go home, Felicity," he said, which made Felicity cry harder. He looked at her in the eyes. "I may be leaving again but that doesn't mean you can't follow me, right?" Felicity's sobs took a pause. She nodded at him like a child. "Follow me one last time and I'll stay with you for a lifetime."

Since Ethan is running out of time, he held her face and moved his face closer to hers to plant a kiss on her lips. "I have to go but this isn't goodbye, Felicity. I'll see you when you go home."

Felicity nodded at him and pulled him for a hug. She embraced him tightly before she let him go once again. She watched him run towards the plane. When he turned around one last time, she blew a kiss towards him to finally bid goodbye. "I'll see you again, my home."

FAMILIES

The Matthews / Yorks: Isabelle and Ian Matthews are mother and son, Ian’s father left when he was a child. In season 2 Isabelle started dating Ian’s art teacher (Trevor York) which Ian was very divided over for a while, on one hand he admired and loved his teacher since he aspired to be a cartoonist, on the other hand it was awkward af. Regardless, in season 3 when Ian went into junior year, the two got married

The Adams: Samson and Michael are a gay couple that met at the high school they worked at, they married soon after and adopted a kid (Evelyn.) though, around when a new year was starting, they started fostering a 14 year old boy (Hunter) who would be going into freshman year at that same high school. Of course in around the end of season two they had to make a difficult decision of whether to adopt hunter or not, they ended up doing it at the beginning of season 3.

The Thornes: Oh boy, where do I start- Edward has three sons and a daughter. All of his sons are still in high school in season one; Sean in freshman, Noah in sophomore, Todd in junior. His daughter (Felice) is in college trying to get a degree in education, so we don’t see much of her. Edward's wife is in a mental hospital after multiple manic breakdowns when their kids were little, due to her corrupted mental heath probably mainly caused by Edward abusing her for over 10 years. They’re one of the richest families in the city/state due to Edward’s major companies and investments.

The Stevens: Oliver owns a bar, he’s seen it all, heard it all, and is so done with it all. When he had just opened said bar, he was a really friendly guy so almost everyone liked him. A year or so later someone apparently like him so much they let an unwanted baby literally in front of the bar with a note. And him being the sympathetic person he was, basically took in the kid, though he wasn’t the best at getting through to him. Tommy usually spent his days locked up in his room and playing video games, occasionally even trying to draw though he was terrible at it which lowered his self confidence even more.

Those are the major ones I’ll go over any other important ones on the way.

Kyle x Ian (BkDk) Jock x Nerd Main relationship, they get together and break up like 4 times but are back together at the end of the last season.

Hannah x Olivia (TogaChako) Horse girl x Popular cheerleader Secondary main relationship that pops up around season 3-ish when Olivia finally backs off of Kyle and starts having a sexuality crisis when she meets Hannah

Tommy x Todd (ShigaDabi) Gamer boy x Bad boy This relationship was pretty heavily implied ever since the characters were introduced and only confirmed, as something that had been going on for a while, in season 2 right before Todd graduated.

Sean x Monica (TodoMomo) Rich boy x Rich girl Relationship that started in season 2, mostly because both their families own major companies and they were pressured into being with each other. It lasted until season five but halfway through they started faking their relationship due to Monica figuring out she had feelings for someone else and Sean figuring out he was asexual and romantic.

Monica x KJ (MomoJirou) Rich girl x Punk KJ always had feelings for Monica and helped her accept herself in the middle of season 3 which was around when Monica figured out she had feelings for her back. This is what caused her and Sean to decide to start ‘fake dating’ because of their parents. It was mostly for Sean’s sake, though Monica wasn’t exactly keen on coming out to her parents either. The two also started secretly dating, the four keeping up the act until they went off to college.

Ethan x Mina (KiriMina) Jock x Dancer Started at the end of season 1 and went strong throughout the series (with a couple rough patches)

Hunter x Devin (ShinKami) Alt kid x Jock Casual relationship that started somewhere around season 2 or 3. Not a lot of people know and they just keep it pretty quiet for a while until season 4 when they make it more official.

Trevor x Isabelle (Toshinko) Kid’s teacher x Kid’s mom In season 2 Isabelle started dating Ian’s art teacher, Trevor York, which Ian was very divided over for a while. Later, in season 3, the two got married.

OVERALL SHIT PLOT

Ian wants to be a comic artist and he always doodles in his notebook, he’s been trying to get things published since forever. Eventually, he gets recruited to make a short daily comic strip for their high school news paper, and he gets a lot more attention than he used to plus some art friends.

The main relationship the series focuses on is that of Ian and Kyle. They’ve known each other since childhood and around middle school Kyle distanced himself from Ian and would make-fun of him a lot, nothing too bad but some standard jerk-like behavior. Lately though, Kyle’s shifted more to stopping Ian in his path just to flirt with him, in his own way of course. Which still involved a lot of teasing and annoying, getting all up in his face just so he could see Ian turn red.
