Quick question out of all the royals including our dragon sibs who would be the best yandere and the worst yandere to be stuck with? Also bonus if you are interested which yandere user and canon embelm pairing (ie. Roy and Diamant) would be the worst or best to be stuck with?

I´ve decided to only do the first part of your asks because I went on a pretty deep dive about yandere emblems not too long ago. Hope you don´t mind ^^

Who are the best and worst yandere royals to be stuck with?

I think a lot of this might vary, depending on how well you would be able to handle these personalities, but my gut instinct is that Alfred or Timerra would probably be the best yanderes to be stuck with.

Alfred is a big sweetheart and I feel like as a yandere, he would mostly be clingy and very very affectionate with you. I don´t think he would ever hurt his darling, both physically or psychologically, the mere thought of it saddens him so much! He´s very much protective of you but I feel like his friendly personality would prevent him from truly cutting people out of your life. He can´t bear to see you sad!

Also, we know that Alfred is pretty gullible and just not the brightest man in general, so if you would choose to do so, you could probably manipulate him pretty well. He´s like a little puppy, getting so excited whenever you ask anything of him, just because he longs to please you. You will never want for anything.

As for Timerra, from what I´ve seen, she also seems to be pretty laid-back and cheerful. Sure, she does have her more serious moments but she´s no schemer like her brother is. I mainly see her as fiercely protective of her darling but she too would never inflict any violence on you. She also isn´t very scary as a yandere, she just wants to have a good time with her lovely darling. She loves dancing and singing with you and she loves seeing you laugh as well!

She doesn´t strike me as the type to try and lock you up somewhere, rather, she would much prefer having you tag along when she leaves the castle, it lets her keep her eyes on you and make sure that you´re safe.

Now as for the worst yandere to be stuck with... I didn´t really need to think about this for long because if we´re adding in the dragon siblings as well...

Rafal is the clear choice for me out of all of them. Even if we´re talking about his canon non-yandere self, he´s pretty prickly and aggressive, he makes no efforts to try and get along with other people. He´s also had a pretty traumatizing childhood and had to suffer for so long. He really does carry so much pain inside of him so for him to get attached to someone and grow possessive over them.... Yeah, darling is not going to have a very good time.

Rafal definitely strikes me as the scarily possessive type. He´s so quick to anger and frustration if he sees you spending time with someone he deems a little too close to you. Different from the other two I have talked about, Rafal definitely wouldn´t hesitate to get violent if it means having you stay with him. I don´t think he´s above hurting you either if he feels like he really needs to. Breaking an arm or a leg is fair game, as is bruising and marking your neck with his not-at-all-gentle bites when his draconic nature comes through. Because let´s not forget about that.

Rafal is a fell dragon and dragons are known to be very possessive over their precious treasure. Whether he wants to admit it or not (because I can very much see him trying to deny his feelings at first), he cares a great deal about you and he´ll be damned if he´ll let the last good thing aside from Nel leave him. No, Rafal is willing to do anything to have you all for himself.

And you know what the worst thing about this is? He can´t even be bothered to be particularly nice to you. He´s obsessed with you and yet he still acts like your mere presence annoys him. The audacity.

Request: Hello, I was wondering if I could request some fluff headcanons of Rafal x reader from fire emblem engage. Thank you! And I hope you Have a great day!

Of course! Thank you so much for requesting, I FINALLY got around to playing the DLC and oh my gosh do I have a lot to say about this boy! I love him, and there is so much potential for this alternate universe thing! Be expecting a lot more about this is the future haha

Anyways on to the headcanons!

Rafal would not be good at expressing his feelings to you, after all of the things he did he doesn’t believe he is deserving of you, let alone love.

So expect to be confused with many mysterious gifts at first. Be it a bouquet of your favorite flowers, a replacement necklace for the one you lost, or even handwritten notes.

Of course after you received the note you were able to decipher who it was giving you all these things. You press him on the matter of these secret gifts. In which he would express his interest in you and you would express your interest in him as well, and the rest is history.

He often takes you out for sweet treats, and you’d tease him every time about how its just a guise for himself to be able to eat sugar. He would respond that he needs no “guise” and that he does as he pleases. He just happens to appreciate sweets more in your company.

One time you caught him reading a book underneath a large tree in the somniel. In an attempt to get closer to him by understanding his interests you decided you would secretly read the same book and surprise him by talking to him all about it someday.

However, the title was most misleading, and a book you thought was gonna be about some fantastical fairytale turned out to be the most gut wrenching, disturbing, and gorey book you’d ever read. You had trouble sleeping for a bit after that, and Rafal got a bit concerned. He pestered you until you fessed up about what happened, to which he laughed at your mistakes. Laughed

You were very upset about the whole ordeal, and he had to console you by holding you close as you rambled about the horrors you uncovered in that story. But I guess you helped indulge in his interests anyways, as things you found really creepy about the book he never noticed how unsettling they were. He actually enjoyed hearing your thoughts on the book and helped you pick apart the narrative so it wasn’t as scary anymore, and actually got you invested in the plot line.

You ended up reading a lot more books with Rafal after you had that chat, and sort of had a make shift book club where you’d both just talk about your different experiences reading the material. It brought you a lot closer in the end after all :)

Breakfast was his favorite meal of the day, because what better start to the day could there be than eating sweets. So he always wakes up before you do. It’s nice to be greeted with breakfast in bed though, and you’ve come to cherish your little morning routine with Rafal.

You’re the best thing that could’ve ever happened to him, and even though he thinks he doesn’t deserve you, you know that he will fight till the end of the earth to protect you.

summary: you find out that your boyfriend isn't who he says he is...

if someone had told you a year ago that nil would break up with you, you wouldn't have believed them. not your nil. he was the sweetest and most caring man you had ever met. he loved you like no one else did. and he looked at you as if you were his whole world! you had been wrong about people before, but you were so sure that he was the one!

and yet, it seemed like you didn't know him at all. your nil had just been an act. the real nil had been dead for many years now and instead the man by your side was called rafal. it was a shock to everyone, but especially to you. suddenly, your whole world fell apart when the one you had believed to be your soulmate betrayed his friends and revealed he had never cared about you in the first place. you were just there to keep up an image.

yet despite everything rafal had said, you didn't believe him. of course, you didn't want to! you didn't want to believe the man you loved was capable of being so cruel! but it wasn't just because you couldn't accept the truth. a part of you wondered if you were really a necessary step in his plan. people already trusted nil, there was no reason to fake a relationship to gain more trust. despite everything that happened, you believed that you weren't just a part of the plan. you couldn't believe it. not when rafal still looked at you the way he did when he was still nil...
