veyle loved eating anything spicy and hadn't really considered that other people weren't able to handle spice as well as she could

so on your first date together veyle cooked for you, not considering that the food she made was way too spicy!

after just a single bite you were coughing and tearing up, chugging down as much water as you could

veyle quickly got up and brought you some milk as well, still shocked how little you could handle the food

she didn't even think it was that spicy, but maybe she had just gotten used to it and couldn't judge it properly

it took a couple minutes until you slowly calmed down again, your eyes still filled with tears, while veyle gently pat your back

she felt horrible for making you suffer like this, blaming herself for your situation

as soon as you could talk again, you assured veyle that she didn't have to worry about it too much

you knew she didn't do it with a malicious intent, she just didn't realize how bad you were at handling spices…

veyle promised you that the next time she cooks for you, she'll try to make the food more mild, so you'll be able to handle it!
