O-HO! Awakening requests! I want too! Gregor, Libra, Kellam and Say'ri are injured, nothing serious, and their s/o treating their wounds, scolding them for being reckless, and then hugging them and telling how worried they were.

S/O Treating Their Wounds

Fandom: Fire Emblem

Note(s): I always love the "S/O taking care of their wounds". It can lead to some nice fluff with a hint of angst~

Okay also I know Say'ri has 2 paragraphs in her wiki (it's more like 4 sentences in total that have been broken up to look like paragraphs), but they are literally "She's old fashioned" and "loves her brother" and there's not a lot I can do with that so I think I'm going to exclude her from these 😖

Gregor

Gregor comes home with a few scratches and bruises after going out alone to fight bandits. He doesn't get a moment to rest as you're pushing him to sit down so you can take care of him.

He very much appreciates you doting on him and he gives you a smile and thanks, but then when you scold him it causes him to pout like a child.

Honestly you might need to apologize to him for your scolding because he's very sad. Your hugs do lift his spirits and make him happier as he gladly hugs you back and tells you that he'll try to be more careful.

Libra

Libra comes back to the campsite after a battle, with a wound on his arm. His significant other immediately starts treating it.

While not expecting all the scolding from a minor wound, Libra takes it in stride, but doesn't truly believe such a wound is worth the worry you're giving him. He still apologizes because he doesn't like seeing you upset.

Once his wound is treated, you end up hugging him and it puts a smile on his face as he hugs you back and apologizes again for worrying you. He can't promise it won't happen again, but he'll be careful for your sake.

Kellam

He doesn't even know how you figure out he has a wound with his heavy armor, but apparently you can tell somehow and that makes him really happy as you have him take his armor off so you can tend to him.

You start scolding him and talking about being worried for him and he gives you a gentle smile. He likes being doted on like this, even if you are scolding him.

Kellam starts to explain that it wasn't a big deal and he's fine, but he is interrupted as you tell him that his safety is your priority and you start hugging him. Kellam does appreciate your care even if he thinks you're overreacting a tad. Hopefully his next wounds can go unnoticed by you.

Did someone say angst??? How bout Kellam w/ a male s/o who always knows that Kellam's there (ie. not invisible to him) and Kellam being the soft good boye that he is, latches on to s/o and they get close. With s/o's help Kellam becomes more noticeable to the crew, but then s/o feels insecure and thinks that Kellam doesn't need him anymore so he tries to distance himself away from Kellam. He, of course, notices this immediately and he gets A N G E R Y (softboye's version of angry).

Kellam is used to being ignored. It’s something he’s dealt with since he was a child, and he…arguably deserved it. It was karma in a way, for being a brat.

But he was different. He not only learned his lesson, but he changed too. Just because he changed didn’t mean he was more visible though. Even as he joined the Shepherds, he remained invisible to most.

Luckily…He still had Stahl. At least Stahl recognized Kellam, most of the time.

Still, even his longtime friend often lost track of him, and still continued to completely forget him at times.

At least until you joined the army.

For a strange, memoryless, Plegian you were really the nicest person he had ever met. Part of him felt he didn’t deserve it.

You continuously go out of your way to make sure Kellam is included with the rest of the Shepherds. Thanks to you, people are noticing him again. He actually feels like a part of everything.

But Kellam’s enjoyment of being part of the gang doesn’t last very long. Because…as soon as other people started to notice him as well, it’s almost as if you stopped.

You still acknowledged him, greeted him when you saw him around camp, but it wasn’t the same. The two of you didn’t really connect anymore, he didn’t see you one on one.

He just…accepted it. He’s not sure what changed, aside from him being noticed by the others. It almost makes him angry.

It’s not your fault, even Kellam can recognize that. It all comes from his own insecurity. He’s afraid that you simply…pitied him, and now that he’s not someone you can help he’s afraid you don’t want anything to do with him.

Henry senses his mood. The magic user has taken quite a liking to Kellam since realizing his existence, and wraps an arm around Kellams armored shoulders. “Nyaahaha.”

Still unused to being scene, the sudden appearance of the mage at his side takes Kellam off guard.

His eyes follow Kellam’s own to where you stand. You’re completely unaware of the two men watching you, continuing with explaining your plan to Chrom via the help of the map.

“You’re angry aren’t you?”

Henry hoves over Kellam, like the devil on his shoulder.

“I could curse him for you?” “W-What? No. Why would I want you to curse ____?”

“Because you’re mad.”

It’s odd how it takes a curse happy crow man on his shoulder to make Kellam realize how silly he’s being. It may be better to just…confront things head on.

You’re an understanding person. You’re a nice person. It’s why Kellam liked you in the first place (that and the fact you’d noticed him).

“U-Um…____?” When you turn to him, you smile, and Kellam almost forgets the fact that it feels as if you’ve been ignoring him.

“Hi Kellam, Henry.”

Kellam turns to see Henry. He’s not right by him, still lingering nearby, but it’s obvious he’s watching.

Damn it Henry. “We can continue this later,” Chrom says, giving you a pat on the shoulder. He notices Henry lingering as well. “Come on Henry,”

Chrom is the real wingman, leading the black mage away so that you and Kellam can have your moment. The Prince knows that it’s important, at least to you.

So he wrangles Henry away, leaving you and Kellam in relative silence.

You go to ask him what it is he’d wanted, but before the words even leave your mouth Kellam’s speaking.

“You-You’ve been avoiding me!”

It sounds much more confrontational than he’d wanted to. He can’t bring himself to face you.

“I’m sorry Kellam, I really didn’t mean to I-” “I miss you!” He interrupts you once more. “If I did something wrong-”

It’s your turn to interrupt, “You didn’t. Kellam I’m sorry. I just…wanted you to get a chance to talk to everyone else. The army is full of competent, wonderful people. I just thought you’d want to get to know them…more than me?”

Alphabet Headcanons

Fandom: Fire Emblem: Awakening

Type of Request: Alphabet Headcanons

Note(s): You're good! Sending two requests for a character isn't that bad. I've had people send like 5 asks for the same character less than a couple minutes apart and that was a bit overwhelming 😅

A = Affection (How affectionate are they? How do they show affection?)

Kellam's affection is more subtle (probably because he's rather difficult to notice). But he still has a few tricks up his sleeve when it comes to being affectionate!

He's really good when it comes to doing Acts of Service or being a quiet support. It's easier for him to listen and then do things that his S/O wanted done. It might not be that grand of gestures, but he's very good at remembering things and then, hey! Those flowers you mentioned liking a year ago? Now you have a vase of them. The cleaning you didn't want to do? He's taken care of it!

G = Gentle (How gentle are they, both physically and emotionally?

He's pretty dang gentle. Due to his own experiences of not being noticed and such, he takes extra care to pay attention to his S/O's needs and feelings.

He's not the most physical affection guy, but he is always there to listen and talk to just to get any feelings out. Or even if you're struggling with how you're supposed to feel, he's glad for you to just rant to him and let you de-stress and unload onto him.

H = Hugs (Do they like hugs? How often do they do it? What are their hugs like?)

Kellam would enjoy hugs! He's often overlooked so being given a hug makes his mood improve tenfold! He's not really one to intiate hugs himself since he is worried about surprising someone or his S/O so he's not one to initiate the physical contact but he still loves them!

Can't help but hug tightly. Not enough to hurt, but because he wants to relish in the moment and he doesn't want it to end even though he knows he can't just be stuck in a hug for the rest of his life. He smiles a lot when he hugs too, he feels happy so he wants to show it.

K = Kisses (What are their kisses like? Where do they like to kiss you? Where do they like to be kissed?)

He's very gentle and so his kisses represent that. They're soft and quick, but very sweet. While they might not last as long as you'd like, he always gives such a bright smile afterwards so they're worth it.

Kellam likes to give face kisses. Mostly on the forehead or cheeks. They're just such soft places to kiss and because of everything happening around you two, they're also the easiest to give a quick kiss to.

Kellam himself likes kisses on his lips. Of course, those usually have to be initiated by his S/O since he doesn't want to appear too needy. But long kisses to his lips makes him feel so special.

General Relationship Headcanons

Kellam

Always unintentionally sneaks up on you. He doesn't mean to startle you. He even announces his presence some times but you still don't always notice. Eventually you get used to it though, which causes him some comfort.

Even if you don't notice his presence, if you remember the things he said that he likes then it makes him super happy. Kellam does do his best to remember your likes too so he can surprise you (unintentionally and intentionally) with them.

Enjoys spending quiet moments together away from everyone. Just leaning against each other or talking softly makes his heart happy.

Yen'fay

If you need something of him then you just need to ask and he'll do his best to provide. He's in love with you and so he wants to be able to make you happy with acts of service.

There are times when he shuts down a bit, keeping you from getting close. Yes, he loves you, but he still ends up thinking back to moments of his life that cause him grief and when that happens, he doesn't want you to see his vulnerability.

Has definitely tried meditating before and it gets interrupted by thoughts of you. He wants to be prepared for battle with imagining the battle field and how he'd win. Instead, his thoughts drift to a kiss you gave him, or your smile when he made you laugh.

Yukimura

He's a bit awkward at times with his feelings. He deeply cares for you, but sometimes he finds it hard to express it. And he doesn't want to just randomly kiss you all the time, that'd get in the way of things. So please forgive him if he looks hesitant with what to say/do for you.

You do get quite a few gifts from him. He does buy the typical flowers, but he is also working on creating you some presents that he hopes you'd enjoy too. Those take a bit of time, but he promises you'll like it.

Enjoys having intelligent conversations with you. Talking about battle strategy or history with you is rather fun for him. If you aren't the most intelligent of people, then no worries either. He'll do his best to explain things to you, feeling some satisfaction that he can teach you new stuff.

Gunter

Despite being an older man, he does his best to still make sure you're happy. If you'd like to go on walks then he will, if you want to relax in the sun then he does his best. There are times when others outside the relationship might view him as a father figure to you, but you both know the truth.

Enjoys to talk with you, hearing about your day or just anything interesting that has happened. It might not seem like a whole lot, but having that quality time means a lot to him.

Not really one to say his affections too often. Instead he does things for you or gives you little gifts that he thinks you'd enjoy. You know he cares deeply for you, but he'd just prefer to show you that love by other means than just saying it.
