Like.. the readers type out their actions (dialogue, movements, idk) in the comments the top one is the action Y/N takes/the author writes

Every chapter ends with a cliffhanger for the readers to work with

So many possible combos

And also no more “wtf I wouldn’t say/do that” when reading Y/N fanfic

i just read about the "narcissism of small differences," aka the idea that the more a community has in common, the more likely the people in it are to engage in interpersonal feuds and mutual ridicule because of hypersensitivity to minor differences perceived in each other, and i knew there was a reason my time in academia and fandom felt oddly similar lmao

nd here is the final painting for my Avatar: The Last Airbender series! Avatar Aang himself, master of the Four Elements and savior of the world.

The cartoon was significant for me when I was growing up. Now that the live action is releasing tommorow, after 20 years since the original I felt that its the time to create my tribute.

This was the first one of the three (Katara, Sokka) that I made, and the piece I spent the least amount of time on. I also had plans for more characters but time constraints wont allow me to work on them just yet! Perhaps in the future.

stupid lil au/just thing ive been thinking about for the past couple days (^ᴗ^)

superstar daycare grand opening ..,,... fbheugsdj

so ,,,, basically,,, yn (who has 0 childcare training, mind you, only previous petcare background) gets hired for a daycare position, under the impression they will be receiving training on site. sun (and moon, by extension) have just been converted to a daycare bot with some childcare protocols messily slapped into their existing code. the code is, frankly, very shoddily put together. at least one human being was legally required to be present with the children so they weren't alone with a robot, so that's where yn comes in.

the daycare's grand opening is coming up. shenagans ensue.

i was gonna continue but im losing steam here outta embarassment dfguwieb. yn's background is very self indulgent for me, since i work in dog care euughfhhdjf (๑•́‧̫•̀๑),, here are a collection of the doodles ive done for it so far ehghjdv

Leah and Elliot

I'm not really proud of this one.

I feel that Elliot is the flattest of all the redesigns i have done so far. And Leah, as much as i like her design, i feel like i didn't really capture the age that i seemed to her (about 28 y.o) and her essence at all.

Honestly, these two are the ones i interact the least in the game (and Maru) and the ones whose original designs are pretty good in themselves imo.

But idk. Since I'm doing this series of sdv designs to pass the time, i always like to hear your thoughts on these. Because if i can do something better in the future, i will.

Skywing Gladiator Helmet concepts: Part 1

Part 2 ⬅️ more designs

To me, the Skywing arena was the most memorable parts of the first book, and I liked the idea of Scarlet having consistent champions outside of prisoners, like Peril, that were used as actual fighters. Similar to the Roman colosseum’s style of fighting.

With how extravagant Scarlet’s punishments, hatching day, etc. are described, (she loves her bloody entertainment & fan fair). There’s no way she’d allow for her champions to go undecorated in the arena. Additionally, Skywings are implied to be the most battle experienced tribe, so they should have armor that reflects this sentiment.

Aside from the lore drop, I absolutely love rendering metal & armor, this was just an excuse for me to do that lol. It’s very interesting trying to fit helmets to dragon anatomy opposed to human anatomy. Gotta accommodate for horns, ears, and the snout. Really cool learning how to work around it!

Skywing average measurements/head base for helmets:
