We are happy to announce, that @hbowardaily is once again hosting an online gift exchange, this time during the spring/summer period!
This is our first event where Masters of the Air is already included.
This event is open to anyone and we will be accepting all characters from the four shows in any creative form! Gifsets, edits, graphics, moodboards, fanarts and fanfics are all welcomed! However in this event you can only participate on Tumblr, which means all creations should be posted to Tumblr, even the full texts of fanfictions!
Please use the tag #hbowarsummer24 for every creation so we can reblog them!
During this event everyone will give something and receive something. After the sign-ups are over we will reach out to everyone and send them their giftee’s url and preferences.
During the exchange, you have to send anonymous messages to your giftee to get to know about them and their likes/dislikes, the goal of the exchange is to get to know each other better! At least two anonymus messages should be sent during the event.
Make sure you have your ask and anon feature enabled to participate!
You can make your gift anytime, but don’t post it before the posting starts!
Make sure you allow messages from those you don't follow or give our admin (@supervalcsi) a follow, so we can send out your giftee's information. This will be checked upon applying, and your application won't be accepted until you do the needful!
In case somebody is not able to finish the event, we are in need of pinch-hitters for those who wouldn’t get anything otherwise. Please if you would be able to make one more gift in this case, fill out the respective question on the sign-up form you can find below!
Our drop-out system applies for this exchange too. Those who drop-out after sending out information will be banned from our next exchange event, those who drop-out after posting has started will be banned for two years from all our exchange events. Dropping out during the sign-ups won't have any consequencies.

Aya sat on the felled trunk of a tree, deep in thought. The young Ogerpon had secretly joined a holiday gift exchange this year, and had received the name and gift list of the Pokemon she was supposed to get presents for earlier this morning; Mint, a…Zigdreepy (whatever that was) around her age! A few of the items on the list stumped Aya….what was a Fairium? Or a Z or TM? Weren't those just letters of the alphabet?
But the other ideas….a shield and Legends and stories…now, those Aya could get! There was only one problem- Aya maybe, might've…gone behind her dads’ backs when she joined the exchange.
I don't know how to make a shield, and I can't make a really nice book on my own…Aya pursed her lips, brow furrowing. She'd need help from her dads, that was certain…but how would she get their assistance without them finding out about the exchange?
Then, suddenly, an idea struck the Ogerpon. But of course!! She could tell the dads the gifts were for herself!! A bunch of new people had been visiting the mountain recently, so she could say the shield was to protect her from any hostile visitors. As for the book, her reasoning would be even easier: it would be nice to have a little collection of her dad's stories in one place all at once! With a determined look in her eye, Aya got up and ran back home, eager to get started.

Aya stood at the meeting place, parcels in hand. The presents were messily wrapped in plain, brown paper and tied up with string- the best Aya could do on her own. The young Ogerpon hoped Mint would like it.
Suddenly, Aya noticed the Zigdreepy approaching. “Oh!!! Hi hi!” She greeted her, running up. “I'm Aya! I hope you like the presents!!”

The event is happening mainly on Discord and Twitter, though main communication between mods and participants might take place mostly in Discord in the case Twitter keeps changing in a way that makes interactions difficult.
For the time being, there is a Twitter account designated for the event: Twitter , and all the relevant information is stored in the hashtag #ginzura_exchange2023
In principle, the schedule is like follows:
1. Participant & pitch hitter sign-ups (Jan 19-Feb 13)
2. Participant matching (Feb 14 - Feb 15)
3. Match up announcement (Feb 16)
4. Creation period (Feb 17 - Apr 1st) So a month and a half.
5. Cancellation deadline: March 10
6. Check up dates: i. March 3(general idea and draft) ii. March 17 (To check everyone's advancements) iii. April 1st (Submission date)

father’s day is funny in my family because my dad is so angry this holiday exists that it’s the one day of the year i am NOT allowed to call him. we are officially estranged for 24 hours a year. wishing him a happy father’s day is a declaration of hostilities.
and like he is a good dad with a good dad, there’s no traumatic backstory to this, he just hates The Man telling him what to do so much that it’s a personal affront that someone decided that anyone is supposed to feel a thing on a specific day or, god forbid, spend their hard earned dollars because shaving commercials tell them to. if a dad did his job right (be a good father who unconditionally loves his kids), his kids should love him 364 days a year but FUCK the 365th day to spite hallmark and gillette specifically and you know what. i respect it.

[WVW Exchange Event 2023!]
"The kisses on your lash, your ears, on the nose that keeps scrunching. The kisses on your hand, on your cheeks, and the exchanging soft words waiting for the break of day."

A total of 6 pages of comics, starting with a close up shots of vash kissing sleeping wolfwood's nose, eyes, lashes, and he furrows them a bit. an overhead shot of the two of them in a motel room, on the bed with vash leaning over wolfwood from the left, laying soft kisses on him. their legs tangled. their normal outfits are thrown haphazardly on the floor, instead donning comfortable clothes. on the outside, the very first ray of lights are yet to shine.
"what a face you're making pfft" - vash says as he grabs both of wolfwood's cheeks, squeezing them a bit. wolfwood mumbles, "There's something that keeps landing on my face, it tickles." he grabs the hand that is on his right cheek. "Well you're letting it happens anyways right?" Vash muses, bringing the hand up to kiss on its knuckles. "Good morning Wolfwood. It's almost dawn"
"… Isn't it way too soon?" - wolfwood asks, but keeps to himself the prayers he's sending to god because the the boy on top of him was such a sight to behold. Vash flops down onto him, leaving the hand hanging and lace his own hand into Wolfwood's hair, peppering kisses to the side of his face. "Yep" - he answers - "But you woke up on your own tho" - facetiously. He giggles, saying that it was a joke after a beat of silence. A sigh, "don't make me upside you first thing in the morning." Wolfwood closes his eyes, hand combing through golden strands. "Heh, how merciful~" "We have a meet up with Milly and Meryl today, remember?" Vash reminds him, which does raise some vague memory. wolfwood hums, the other hand reaching around vash's torso, hugging him. " So, the sooner we arrive, the less likely she'll chew through my head." - Vash adds. "riiiight. And you were SO urgent in waking me up." in wolfwood's hold, both of them slowly turn to the right, towards the edge of the bed.
Well, you were just soooo cute, I couldn't help it! didn't thinkk you'll actually wakE UAA-!"
the bed creaks under the sudden shift in weight as wolfwood tosses vash over and under him, arms firmly hugging him, one at his back and one at his head, hungrily dives down to kiss. "!! Wolf-! Wait-!" Vash yelps, leg instinctively curls around the other's man hip to hang on, trying his damnest to grip on his shirt as HE is now half airborne, barely has any contact with the bed on his upper body. However, wolfwood seems to have another idea as he keeps deepening the kiss, pointedly holding Vash close, hands spread guarding the back of his head as both of them are sliding off the soft fabric.
"THUD!" a resounding fall, possibly enough to wake the room downstairs, followed shortly by laboured breaths amist wet smacks of lips. Heaves and huffs of air exchanging between the two bodies when the need to breath made itself necessary. They press close, cradling each other, and are lost to their own world.
After a while they had to part. Metal arm shifts through black locks, caressing down to his nape and they hold eye contacts there, with lidded eyes, strands of saliva thins then breaks.
Wolfwood pushes up on his arms, looking smugly down at his now disheveled partner: "Now this is how it's done, Needlenoggin." he remarks. Vash tries to wrangle his thoughts back in order, but strings of Wolfwood's name and a wonderous question keeps filling his mind, of whether he should risk it all and have fun for a bit more. Regardless, snapping out of his trance, Vash sourly asks, with a wry smile and an aching head: "But did you really need to roll off the bed?"
"Wrong side, whoops" - Wolfwood anwers unseriously, laughing as he finds the situation quite amusing.

#better drawn mdzs#mdzs#wei wuxian#yiling laozu#Happy Friday the 13th!#This is scientific fact btw!#Ventilation operates through a series of active and passive forces#The active forces being muscular contraction with inhalation and exhalation having their own set of muscles.#but the interesting part is the passive forces at work:#The lungs have a certain level of elasticity to them - meaning the more they expand the more the those elastic forces are functioning-#-to try and return the system to rest (exhalation passive forces). Your diaphragm is the main force - pushing against the lungs at rest.#Your ribcage on the other hand is under a state of being pulled outwards. It *wants* to be as open as possible.#These to contradicting forces create a constant push and pull which assists in the ebb and flow of air. Most significantly with exhalation.#Now that being said - the primary action of inhalation ventilation is through control centers in your brainstem.#If you lose connection to that due to trauma you're going to need ventilation assistance.#Small note: Respiration is the cellular event of chemical exchange in the alveoli. Ventilation is airflow and pressure.#They are both important but also very different things. Sadly used interchangeably.#My anatomy nerd brain is screaming over the inaccurate ribcage...but its...recognizable.
