heyy here are some of the things i found out lately while i was wasting time

🎠 An aries moon and capricorn sun man, I always find this mix intriguing. Can give off the vibes of a character straight out of a webtoon, or a fuck boy that’s just visibly toxic. Either way I find them so incredibly magnetic. They possess strong fiery auras and usually have a rebellious streak to them. If they act out of their shadows they can be arrogant, insensitive, disloyal and only chase after the physical.

🎠 Initially I wondered why eminem doesn’t give me libra sun vibes at all, then I looked a bit deeper into his chart and realized that he’s just textbook uranian, he even looks like an alien and acts like one at times. He got sun conjunct uranus, aquarius moon, mars conjunct uranus, and uranus square nn. He was born to be a rebel.

🎠 He’s one of greatest rappers to exist and it’s worthy to mention some of the aspects that indicate his unique talent for rapping. First of all mars conj uranus is known to give unique talents, so that’s that. In this case sun and mars conj uranus granting him a natural rhythm, quick thinking, and unique expression. But the supersonic speed doesn’t come just from that. What’s interesting is that his ability to be a fast rapper and master lyricist is amplified by pluto also being in libra, conjunct his mars and pallas, fueling him with anger, intensifying his capabilities with determination, and heightened mental control and intelligence. Saturn is also in an air sign (gemini), indicating speed and intelligence. This gives rise to a grand air trine, linking his powerful stellium of sun, mars, uranus, pluto, and pallas in libra, his moon in aquarius, and saturn in gemini. The stars really aligned there making him the rap god huh.

🎠 If you know eminem's story you'd know that he had a tough upbringing. From a difficult mother and absent father to being an outcast bouncing between schools and sketchy neighbourhoods, the only white kid in a black community, being bullied by gangs, and even beaten up till he drifted out of consciousness, then dropped out of school. Makes me think it's why he keeps his bodyguards with him all the time! He was left with nothing and a daughter to provide for, encountered racial prejudice in rap contests for being white, despite these obstacles, he rose to become the best-selling hip-hop artist and earned recognition from rappers as one of the greatest of all time. Leads me to the next obs.

🎠 Heavy uranus/aquarius or 11°, 23° can easily become misfits without trying to. They’re constantly put in new environments, places where they’re the only ones of their kind, like a white kid in a black community, a foreign in a mostly local area, the new kid in school. There’s always ‘something different about them’ that people pick up on even if it was as early as elementary school. Which may get them outcasted or bullied. Their experiences at times lead them to hate school and drop out.

🎠 People with these placements have something special to offer the world. It may seem like obstacles are constantly put in their way without them doing anything, but it’s their path unfolding. So they can wake up from their conditioned states and break from the status quo. The more that happens the more they realize who they are.

🎠 Here’s why I think those that got capricorn north node can be the best fathers or the child’s favorite parent. It’s part of their destiny to be a caregiver and a good example for their children and they have the biggest hearts when it comes to caring for them and protecting them. They desire to give their child what they themselves may have lacked in their youth and shield them from the pain they experienced. Their child is their inspiration and reason to keep going in a way.

🎠 The biggest two examples I can give, Eminem singing mockingbird (one of my favs) for his daughter Hailie. He often mentions her in award shows, and did a whole diss track (killshot), in 13 minutes btw lmao, just because MGK made a tweet about his daughter. The other example is Travis Scott singing goosebumps for his daughter Stormi on stage and bringing her to his concerts. She has always said that her fav parent is her dad. Anyway, don’t mess with these ppl’s kids they’ll go after you to the end of the world.

🎠 Men with mercury conjunct saturn have deeper voices, speak slowly and eloquently like they’re a 50 year old even if they’re 25. They are very grounded, have a methodical way of thinking and are wise beyond their years. Also masters at dodging questions.

🎠 I’ve seen it a lot and experienced it myself having an aries stellium. Women with a lot of aries or mars placements can often feel like they’re more cute, youthful and sexy in a cool way rather than the typical feminine way. They often have toned bodies, smaller chests and a lot of masculine qualities that trying to appear too feminine can feel fake to them.

🎠 People with north node in capricorn can feel like they've been robbed of the success they deserve. It's giving the vibe of a musician that has worked so damn hard on their album and received public success but no official awards, then released another album and did it again and again and still haven’t gotten a grammy. I mean grammys are scams but ykwim. Along the lessons of success and accomplishment, there's also a profound lesson in patience and self-validation, a focus on recognizing one's worth from within rather than seeking external validation.

🎠 I noticed that aries, gemini, aquarius and capricorn placements or heavy mars, mercury, uranus and saturn can prefer skirts over dresses or just wear pants all the time.

🎠 Those with uranus-neptune in pisces really brought back the love for anime, manga, webtoons, cosplay, colourful cute aesthetics, dreamcore, surrealist aesthetics and art. They just got a dreamland vibe to them and it’s quite fascinating to see.

🎠 I have north node in leo and I'm starting to look like my 5 year old self, no joke, connecting to your inner child can do that. Looking at my childhood photos stirs up emotions within me. I often find myself reminiscing and yearning for that carefree time when I was simply myself, devoid of societal pressures. Plus, I can't help but notice after fixing my fucked up teeth I got my child smile back. I feel like I'm in a journey of rediscovery as I start to recognize that childlike spirit within me once again.

🎠 Those with sagittarius, libra, taurus, gemini, leo and aries placements have the most beautiful smiles omg, like it does something to your heart. Please keep smiling it really brightens up this world. I mean I can fit all the signs here I just love when others smile. 🥺

🎠 Mercury opposite pluto, these native can say exactly what would get them mocked or bullied. They keep starting the wrong fights for the wrong reasons. They could get triggered of people who communicate better than them. Their lesson lies in improving their communication skills, cultivating tactfulness and diplomacy, and learning to reclaim their power in a psychological manner rather than resorting to mindless verbal confrontations.

🎠 Mars conj/opp pluto can at times experience violence early on, in school or their neighborhood. They experience a lot of obstacles constantly, inner and outer pressures that they may feel like giving up. 🎠 I know someone with a lot of saturn oppositions, aquarius sun and stellium opposite saturn, capricorn moon and aries nn. This person has always been underestimated by their parents and always felt like an outsider. They had controlling parents that imposed so many restrictions on them. They also were targeted in school for having a funny and likable personality. Being their aquarius mc and aries mercury bestie I saw their potential and encouraged them to fight back even if it meant making a scene. They eventually built up the courage to stand up for themselves no matter how alone they are. But they also have this wisdom to know when to pick their battles and when to ignore things and let them go, which I look up to.

🎠 People with a lot of chiron conjunctions or oppositions have a heart of gold. Real angels on earth that have been through it. They have so much compassion and understanding for others because they’ve been hurt in many ways. They know what it feels like to be wounded by life and have tremendous amounts of empathy for that. They have sensitive souls and their presence alone can make others feel seen and heard. I appreciate these people a lot, like thank u for existing.

💋Moon conjunct Saturn , Saturn in the 4th house look like Stone cold , heartless bitches, but they are not. They hide any kind of vulnerable emotions to protect themselves from criticism, abandonment and being misunderstood . It’s an protective shield that they build from young adolescents . they close their hearts , so nobody can enter in it to use their vulnerability against them. # past childhood trauma # pls give them a hug 🤗

𐂲 I've recently noticed, whatever sign your mars is in and whichever body part that sign rules, can often result in getting accidentally hurt or random in that part. (Example, Mars in gemini = getting hurt on arms/hands, in Capricorn = scalp/knees/teeth, in Aries = head/sometimes cheekbones, etc)

𐂲 One thing I've noticed about Virgo risings is how much they underestimate themselves, they also usually have trouble with anxiety and overthinking

𐂲 Mystic rectangles give a lot of balance to a person but it can also come with multiple internal hardships and conflicts (in forms of insomnia or mental illnesses) and they often need external help to reach their full potential

𐂲 Pluto - Neptune hard aspects especially squares bring into consideration the back and forth between transformation versus illusion, what I mean by that is they have trouble distinguishing patterns in their cycles and may think they're imagining changes rather than believing that it's real (I hope this makes sense I've been trying to word it for the past 5 mins)

𐂲 I know we talk a lot about Leo Risings having great hair but imo Pisces rising have such luscious hair, like they have sm volume and shine to them?? They also look like a waterfall, just flowing, it's so pretty <//3

𐂲 Saturn in 4th/5th/11th house can overshare on the internet about everything going on with their lives

Hi!🤍 This is my first post with astrology observations. I am not a professional astrologer, but I have been interested in astrology for several years.

Note: These are just my observations, you don't have to agree or identify with them. Do not take everything seriously. English is my second language so forgive me for mistakes and typos. do not copy, steal, rewrite my work, or repost on other social medias

Sun square Uranus creates highly individualistic and unconventional individuals who may appear selfish and eccentric. These people have a strong desire to showcase their uniqueness and serve as examples for others. They struggle with accepting authority and often resort to rebellious behavior to draw attention to themselves. A classmate of mine from primary school has this aspect and used to rebel against teachers to impress his friends. He also bullied the weaker ones. Moon sextile Mercury this aspect gives really good memory. People with this aspect are often very intelligent. These people are interested in their origin and roots. Mercury sextile Uranus gives the ability to discover and invent new things. These people like new technologies. They often need to exchanges ideas and opinions with others. They have novel way of thinking and they like to argue about opinions. Jupiter in 11th house people are really lucky when it comes to friends, groups. Others find it easy to befriend them. Even their open enemies are relatively respectful and have shown mercy. They usually have a lot of close friends. People with the Moon in Virgo feel that anything they do is not good enough for their standards and will always find something to complain or nag about. Virgo moons tend to get upset if certain things aren’t perfect. I also noticed Virgo moons can have severe bitch energy. Libra moons may avoid conflicts and confontation. People with Moon in Libra, that I know, love to be the centre of attention and are keen to express their opinions. Most of them can be people pleasers. Scorpio venus are incredibly receptive and observant. They can come off as very passionate but may also get attached very easily as well as being obsessive. It’s like a 'ride or die' placement. I’ve never met a person with Venus in Scorpio that didn’t obsess over their partner. Scorpio venuses smell bullshit from a mile away and are not afraid to tell you what’s up. Venus square Neptune people day dream a lot and idealize people. Venus square Neptune makes people have rose-coloured glasses. They are too forgiving. Mars in the 11th house may find it difficult to make and keep friends. There may occur competition amongst friends. These people also have a habit of distancing themselves too much and ghosting other people. Venus opposite Pluto natives tend to attract people who are obsessive, attached and controlling. There may be insecurities in relationships, such as an obsessive fear that your partner may cheat on you or leave you. You may feel tempted to control your partner. "Power is my mistress. ➻ Lilith conjunct/square/opposition the ascendant can have this mistery aura inside them aswell, giving this "Shadows embrace" kind of mood

➻ Lilith conjunct/square/opposition Sun makes the native rebellious and secretive aswell as making them this "misunderstood" feeling and even judged sometimes. They have pretty misterious eyes

➻ Sun in Capricorn/Sun at Capricorn Degrees (10°,22°), Capricorns were always giving this vibe of "darkness and boldness" they are represented by the Ying element which is darkness and it makes sense so much. Capricorns are witchy aesthetic

Part 1: The Love Square. Why it worked, and why it failed.

People who aren’t as interested in Magical Girls as I am, specifically Magical Girl Animes with Romance, may not understand why the Love Square was such a big deal. Why it was the core; the life of the series.

Okay, so how many times have you seen a love triangle unfold? Quite many, I must guess. Some really good, and some, uhm, not so much.

In Magical Girl Animes they’re common – and the most popular ones have one very particular dynamic. Let’s run down it, shall we?

Our main character falls in love with another man, someone unreachable, unattainable. It’s someone she genuinely looks up to, and is most likely popular already.

I call this character “The Prince”

In Princess Tutu, it’s Mytho. In Shugo Chara it’s Tadase. In Tokyo Mew Mew it’s Aoyama. Sailor Moon has Motoki Furuhata in Season 1, and Mamoru in Stars.

He is the type of guy you want to fall in love with. Nice, kind, good-natured, a good leader, pretty and everything.

There’s one issue, though. The person who our Main Character’s crush likes is not her, but her alter ego. Mytho is in love with Tutu, not Ahiru, Tadase is in love with Amulet Heart not Amu. The one she becomes thanks to super natural magic.

Then, there’s the opposite. I like to call them the “Rebel” character.

You know who I’m talking about. The Ikuto, the Kishu, the Fakir or even Seiya of the story. They serve to be a contrast to the “Prince”. They’re often times, the only one who gets to see through the MC’s disguise and comes to understand her. “Rebel” characters are rarely in love with alter ego, but instead feel attraction to the MC or the “real one”

These are all fan favourites characters that fall under the “Bad Boy” trope. And for good reason.

Bad boy characters are popular with little girls, teen girls, women or even AFAB people in general since they call out something in our society. There’s very real pressure put forth by either parents or society to adhere to certain gender roles, and what they mean.

In other words, you’re “supposed” to be a good girl.

You have to get good grades, you have to smile all the time, you have to be polite, and you have to play nice. A bad boy character in fiction allows the viewer (in this case and for simplicity) girls to push back or be rebellious in a very safe way.

You don’t have to be good, you’re just following the steps of a bad guy with a heart of gold. He will help you break out of your shell, and be more confident. You get to feel like you’re trying to be the good girl society tells you to be, while finally exploring these darker aspects of your personality.

In YA and more mature books, this can involve anything from trying alcohol, having sex, or allowing oneself to be angry (exploring the “bad” or “not good” emotions AFAB people are always told they shouldn’t have).

But in audiences more aimed towards children, like those in Magical Girl animes, shoujos or tween cartoons, they exist in a more subdued way – although still tapping into this idea of rebellion against the status quo.

That’s why these characters are fan favourites.

So, to summarize. You have the MC in love with a “Prince” who in turn is in love with the Perfect Girl version of the MC. And a “Rebel” who is in love with the Real Version of the MC, flaws and all.

This particular dynamic is used as a thesis of sorts in any good story. Only by understanding both the real and idolized version of the MC can a man can “win” the love of our protagonist. And only by our MC knowing who she is, what her alter ego means, or how she relates to these dichotomies, can she understand herself.

And really, depending on how each show tackles its themes, it can have different answers. Tokyo Mew Mew offers the idea that the Prince is the correct option, while Princess Tutu says it’s not. Then there’s those with open endings such a Shugo Chara. Again, they use the dynamic, the thesis of their characters, to come to a conclusion that neatly ties to the theme.

Princess Tutu, for example, ties the ideal version of Mytho with the tragedy of a fairytale. Ahiru has to let go to be able to reach a conclusion. In Tokyo Mew Mew Ichigo sees her flaws (the cats ears) as something someone as perfect as Aoyama could never love – yet he shows he isn’t perfect and that he loves her with or without the perceived flaws she has.

That said,

It’s exactly why I loved Miraculous Ladybug when it first aired. It managed to boil down this interesting dynamic into the Love Square. The perfect and the real, the idolized and the true.

Ladybug represents the perfect version of Marinette. Adrien represents the perfect version, while the real one is Chat Noir. Chat was both the “Bad Boy” and the “Prince” all in one. Both Marinette and Adrien were in love with the “Perfect” or Idolized version of each other.

This was something never before seen. It would make for amazing content, right? Explore why we prefer an idolized version of someone, realize that true love means caring even when you’re not perfect. What our perceived “flaws” meant to others, and if they were truly flaws – or if our environment was the one teaching us they were. The possibilities and themes were limitless. We could have had something great-

No.

Sorry, we. We didn’t get that.

What we got were padded episodes, new love interest that refused to deal with this complexity, and a stagnant rship that refuses to explore any of the flaws of their characters - why they’re not perfect, or even a reason why they stay in love

This is why the Love Square fails. This, is the core of why and how it works. People can expand upon this in million different ways, but you inevitably come back to this.

The real and the idolized. The want vs the duty. The expectations and the responsibilities.

Instead of having an episode where Marinette realizes that Adrien isn’t perfect, that he isn’t a model 24/7 or that he has flaws, secrets and fear just like anyone else, we got Kagami.

Instead of Chat realizing that Ladybug isn’t perfect, that she isn’t always composed, that it’s just a persona put forth to feel more in control of a situation, we got Luka.

Both characters that I love, but they bring very little to the themes the Love Square was introducing, to begin with!

More focus should have been put in how these two bounce off each other.

How much better would the story had been if we got to see Marinette and Chat have a conversation? The two very flawed, very real, very confusing version fo these characters, just trying to understand each other.

And by the way, this is exactly why MariChat is the most popular dynamic.

Marinette acts like a girl. Scared, confused, and lonely. She isn’t a hero, she isn’t her perfect version. She is just Marinette. While she can put the mask on, at the end of the day, it’s still just a mask. And Chat? Well, we get to see him. Not the model, not the paper cut out, but a silly kid who wants to break free from a life of imprisonment by the parent who’s supposed to love him.

We get to see something real.

But, unfortunately we do not get that.

Their relationship stays static. The reason for this is a bit obvious.

The writers, to my opinion have come to this bizarre conclusion:

Developing this dynamic would mean changing dynamics, ending the status quo morphing the story into something new. And they assume a “new” means an “end”.

They’re thinking that the endgame is Adrien and Marinette realizing their identities, so they don’t wanna develop it for fear of bringing an ending “too close”.

Say you have 7 seasons prepared, you can't have them find out their identities in season 5 because their reveal should be in season 7. It should be the last couple of episodes even. After that, they'll date and it's over. So better drag this on for seasons on end.

This just proves to me: flawed writing skills and lack of direction.

WHICH wouldn’t surprise me seeing how Chloe ended up.

It is plain bad writing. Changing stuff doesn’t necessarily mean an endgame is near. It just means things are changing.

I’ll be mean to this series and compare it to the Magnus Opus of Magical Girls: Sailor Moon

Sailor Moon got together with Tuxedo mask in the first season, yet the writers were able to up the steaks of their relationship through its 5-season run: Through memory loss, a long distance romance, anxieties of hurting one another, or simply…developing their relationship. People change. And so does how they interact with other people.

These created amazing episodes that highlighted how much Usagi and Mamoru loved and cared for each other. It wasn’t just chance, it wasn’t just fate. This took work, it took time, and it took trust. This wasn’t something so easily lost. That’s why SailorMoonStars hits the hardest.

In the very last season, Usagi is in a long distance rship with Mamoru. And it breaks her. We see that she misses him, dealing with the turmoil of him not answering her messages. She’s devastated, seeking comfort in other people, but unable to forget him. Not even as Seiya begs her to take him instead of Mamoru, can she bring herself to give him up– because they’ve been together for a long, long time. And we’ve seen that.

We see her reminiscent. We see her break down and cry because he hasn’t called her. We see her thinking of him when she’s with Seiya. We see her be in love with him and we see how much it affected her that he’s ignoring her.

And by the last few episodes, we get a payoff. We find out Mamoru is dead, and that he died confident that Usagi would be strong enough to protect the Earth in his stead. That he believed in her, and he thought of her until the moment he died - uttering her name as the last thing he could do.

That’s why when Sailor Moon defeats Sailor Galaxia, the woman who killed the man she loved, through purification and not violence – it all feels right.

It’s a very simple but powerful story, packaged in 45 episodes. With enough room to breathe, digest it, but not drawn out enough for it to be annoying.

All this, when the relationship was already established. We could have had something like this in Miraculous Ladybug, if the writers WERENT drawing out the reveal and get together until the very last second!

ChatBlanc could have been an AMAZING multi-episode mini-arc.

No time-travel thing. They find their identities, they date for a few episodes, something goes horribly wrong, and Marinette has to find a way to fix the mistakes she's made. Much like Sailor Moon R.

Maybe by the end of it, she fixes it but sacrifices most of her memories. The only thing she recalls is that she knew Chat's identity, Paris almost got destroyed, and that leads to her putting distance between them.

Or maybe one day she wakes up with the memories of Chat Blanc and spends and entire season trying to know what happened, and when she does, she's horrified.

Idk, million amazing things could have been done with this episode to further develop these two's relationship. Complex, interesting, beautiful things.

But no. Because, apparently, thinking of love post-reveal is too much. Instead, we watch them run and run in circles. Chat Blanc was a single episode, and half of it was time travel shenanigans.

And all of this, just because the writers don’t actually know what they want to do with the love square. So they add new rivals, new teams, new accessories, side plots - all to avoid touching the actual core of what made the series great.

It strongly reminds me of Star vs. in that scenario the creators also weren’t sure where to take the show.

It wasn’t until season 2 where they started the subplot of Star realizing Mewni colonized Monsters that it started having a sense of self. And it showed in the romantic subplot, which was all over the place. They didn’t know what they wanted, so the romance in that show was a mess. Lack of direction and intention, aside from the knowledge that Star and Marco were the end game

I personally don’t hate Star vs. I don’t like how it handled romance but I will give it much leeway because the actual plot of Intergenerational conflict and coming to terms with the harm your ancestors have done to others - is quite compelling and not something I see tackled often.

But Miraculous does not get that. Its episodic plot is simple and refuses to get into the murky waters of its own premise.

The only thing it had going was The Love Square. Because I assure you, very few people give a crap about the Miraculous being stolen.

So, their lack of willingness was the first thing to ruin the Love Square. Fine.

But it’s not the nail on the coffin. The real reason why this suffered, was something that happened waaaay before all this.

Because one thing that the show refused to explore up until late into season 3 and start of season 4 was the specific parts of the “Ladybug” character. What I mean is, what “ideal self” she is as “Ladybug”. And how her existence affects Marinette. This is the fundamental flaw that issss...

What You Stand to Lose (Sith!Anakin Skywalker)

Summary: You meet Darth Vader again, this time in the hopes of finding answers as to why you've been bonded through the Force to him since the moment you met. Things spiral out of control very quickly.

Word Count: 3.6k

A/N: I've wanted to write a lightsaber fight for a while, and finally decided to tackle it! Very excited and proud of this, and I hope that you guys enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it! Warnings for combat and general existential crises.

The moon that you’ve found yourself on is lush and green, completely unlike what you would expect a Sith to pick for a secret meeting location. You’re so sure that you landed on the wrong planet that you check the coordinates again, sure that you typed them in your ship’s navigation system wrong. They’re correct, though, and you sigh before opening up the ship’s door. It’s now or never.

This is, by far, one of the stupidest things that you’ve ever done. And you’ve done a lot of stupid things in your life. But deciding to secretly meet with the Sith Lord that you share an odd Force bond with? You’ve surely lost your mind.

It hadn’t been your idea. During one of your shared dreams with Darth Vader, which were becoming more and more common as time went on, he had mentioned that he had found holocrons in the old Jedi archives (which were supposed to be destroyed long ago, but hadn’t been) that might give you both some answers. While you were content with waiting for him to search through these holocrons and come to you with the magic solution to your problem, he had a few good reasons to be hesitant.

The first reason was that, if he were to suddenly start spending his time hiding and reading and researching, people would get suspicious and inevitably there would be questions asked. Specifically, the Emperor would get suspicious. Though Vader didn’t go into details – somehow, a silent agreement had been reached not to talk about “work” when around each other in dreams – you got the feeling that their relationship was contentious at best and toxic at worst. If the Emperor were to find out that his protege, his apprentice, was hiding secrets of this magnitude, then it would be Vader’s funeral. And until you figure out just how deep this bond goes, you’d rather not test it with one half of the bond being killed.

The second reason was that there were just too many damn holocrons for one person to search through. It would take him days, if not weeks, to look through every record that even mentions Force bonds or shared dreams. He could only look through so many before reason number one became a problem again.

So, you begrudgingly agreed to meet with him on a moon that was basically forgotten, one that neither the Empire nor the Rebel Alliance had yet touched. Making your ship untraceable and sneaking away was the easy part. The hard part, as it turns out, is gathering the nerve to stand up and walk out to actually meet with Darth Vader. He’s here somewhere, you know–you can feel his proximity to you, probably thanks to the bond. The tug of the bond becomes too much for you to ignore, and you stand with a sigh and allow it to lead you.

It’s only a couple of minutes of walking before you stop in a clearing, knowing that he’s here somewhere. You spin in a slow circle, looking for a glimpse of black robes or yellow eyes, but you can’t find any sign of him.

“I know you’re here, Vader,” you call, your voice echoing through the imposing mountains of this moon.

He appears out of nowhere, though you know he likely used some aspect of the Force you’re not yet familiar with to cloak himself from you. It’s the first time you’ve seen him in his suit since the day you first met. Now that you’re not struck with fear, you can fully admire just how powerful he looks in it. The buttons on his chest plate glow green and red; what purpose they serve, you’re not too sure. Gloves cover his hands and stretch up the length of his strong forearms, though his right glove seems to be more reinforced than his left one. That damn cape of his billows out behind him, making him look like a member of royalty. You’ll never admit it, but you love when he wears it.

The one thing that’s missing from his ensemble is his helmet. There’s no sign of it, and you assume he left it back on his own ship. Though he’s revealed himself to you, you both stand a few paces apart. You’re both uneasy about being around the other, trying to figure out if you’re being lured into a trap of some sort. Even if it weren’t for the bond, something in you knows that he hasn’t betrayed you.

“I’ll admit, I’m surprised you actually showed up,” Vader says, appraising you as he takes one slow step closer.

You shrug. “Said I’d be here, didn’t I?”

“You did.”

He produces a bag from within the confines of his cloak, tossing it on the ground between you. Small objects in all manor of shapes spill out and scatter in the grass. It appears Vader did his job, and he did it well. Slowly, he sits down on the grass, his cloak trailing behind him. He looks at you expectantly, and you realize that this is a peace offering. He’s putting himself in a vulnerable position first, giving you the choice to attack. Instead, you sit down next to him, and he pushes a couple of holocrons towards you with a smirk.

“Shall we?”

A couple of hours later, you’ve gone through every single holocron that Vader brought. Your eyes hurt from the strain of reading so much information, back-to-back-to-back. So much talk of dreams and bonds, yet none of it gives you any clarity for your situation. The dreams mentioned were merely visions that most Force users got, the bonds being between master and apprentice. Nothing in any of these explains involuntary Force bonds between two people who had never met before, shared dreams, or being able to sense someone who’s not your master or apprentice.

“This is useless,” you grumble, tossing a holocron from hand to hand. Vader stands, pacing back and forth as he continues to go through what he’s already looked at.

“No, there has to be something here.”

“There’s not. We’ve both looked at all of these, and nothing applies to our situation. Maybe…maybe it’s in other holocrons that you didn’t grab. You said you only grabbed as many as you could, right?”

“Yes, but I don’t know how many more hundreds of holocrons I can take and replace while simultaneously disappearing for hours at a time.”

“Dammit.”

Vader stares at a spot on the ground, thinking. After a moment, he says, “I might have another lead, but it would be risky. It’s on a neutral planet, though. Takodana.”

You hum noncommittally, not too happy at the thought of following another fruitless lead. You’re already wasting too much time and brainpower on this situation, and becoming far too entangled with the dark side of the Force. Some nights, when you lay awake and stare at the ceiling, you think that you can hear it whispering to you, attempting to seduce you.

You hate how tantalizing it can be.

Vader finally stops his pacing when he’s in front of you. You look up from the holocron in your hands, slowly trailing up until you meet his eyes. “Spar with me,” Vader says to you, already unclipping his lightsaber from the black utility belt around his waist. You look at him in bewilderment.

“I thought we agreed that this…rendezvous would end without bloodshed.”

“And it will. I’m nothing if not a man of my word, Rebel.”

A smile lights up his handsome face as he activates his red lightsaber, casually twirling it in his hand. You try your hardest to ignore the way that your stomach stirs at the sight and scramble to your feet.

“However, you’ve acquired a weapon of your own now, and I’m quite interested in seeing how you handle it.”

Though you’re still wary, you unsheath your own lightsaber and stare down at the blue color emanating from it. You hadn’t gotten the experience of your Jedi forefathers who were able to travel to Ilum and pick their own kyber crystals. Instead, your mentor – Dia hated the idea of being called ‘Master’ – had shown you to a room full of the lightsabers of fallen Jedi. Force-sensitives were low on options, and it’s not as though the weapons were being used, so the morbid ritual of a dead Jedi’s kyber choosing a new owner was becoming more and more common among those who had managed to escape the brutality of the Inquisitors.

It was quite the solemn experience, walking through what could only be described as a tomb and sifting through the emotions, the experiences, that each crystal had stored within it. You were thankful that your crystal had come to you, the lightsaber un-wedging itself from under a pile and flying into your hand. From there, you were able to use discarded parts to create your own lightsaber, though you would forever thank the Jedi whose name you didn’t know for the gift of their crystal to help you complete your weapon. Every time you saw that beautiful blue glow, you liked to think that this Jedi’s Force essence was there with you, teaching you.

“I had my lightsaber back on Batuu,” you point out.

“We were, unfortunately, too busy running from our captors to waste any time discussing that which wasn’t directly related to our mission. Or did you forget?”

You roll your eyes, shifting into an attack stance. How could you ever forget that experience? How could you ever want to forget that experience?

Vader goes into a stance of his own, and you both stare at each other for a moment, engaging in a battle of wills and daring the other to make the first move. The Force sparks and crackles around you, something beautiful and untamed and alive, and you try to listen to the clues that it wants to give you. When you feel it lurch, you do the same, just barely blocking Vader’s low swipe as he strikes first.

From there the pace only picks up, blades crashing against each other and emitting purple pulses of energy whenever they do. Vader’s good, and it’s obvious that his skills are nowhere near exaggerated. You’ve heard stories of the legendary Anakin Skywalker and his astonishing droid kill-count from the Clone Wars–though Ahsoka, in the short time that she’s been a part of the Rebel Alliance, is always quick to tell you that she was just a few behind him. With the power of the Dark Side coursing through his veins, he’s only gotten more deadly in battle. You’re keenly aware of the fact that, if this was an actual fight, he could easily snap your neck with the Force.

Though he fights with grace, his saber twirling from hand to hand as he attempts to back you into a corner, there’s also a viciousness behind the intensity of his strikes. He violently brings his weapon down while trying to find a weakness, and you meet him with yours. You crash into a stalemate, your blades locked together as you glare at each other through the heat of the lightsabers.

“You’re good,” Anakin comments, baring his teeth in a savage grin. “Who’s been training you?”

You badly want to tell him that you’ve been receiving lessons from his former Padawan, but you know that it’s not your place to reveal her whereabouts to him. Instead, you respond, “Dia Dorvin.”

“Hmm, she was knighted right before the fall of the Jedi Order, yes?” You must show some surprise in your eyes, as Vader smirks while forcing your shaking arms to continue to hold the defensive lock you’ve found yourselves in. “The Order was not that large. Dia accompanied me on a couple of low-stakes missions when her master was off doing something too dangerous for a Padawan to be a part of.”

You overpower him just enough to shove him away from you with your foot kicking his chest, flipping over him until you land behind him with the hopes of catching him off-guard. He’s fast, fast enough that he’s matching your swings before he even turns around all the way.

He leaves his middle open, and you assume that you have him. You wouldn’t kill him, of course, but sparring dictates any contact equals a win. If you can just singe the leather of his suit, then you can declare victory over him. The need to win is all that you can think about, yet you don’t know why you feel so strongly about this. Maybe it’s because nothing involving you and Darth Vader, Anakin Skywalker, can be anything below the highest intensity.

You strike, putting all of your weight behind your movement as you slash your lightsaber towards him. He drops to his knees to avoid the heat of your weapon before coming back up to his full, intimidating height. His foot hooks behind yours and pulls it out from under you, making you collapse to the floor with a surprised gasp as your saber falls out of your hand and rolls away from you. Your back hits the surface harshly, and you feel the stinging pain for only a second before forcing yourself to get back to your feet.

Vader beats you to it, digging his knee into your chest to keep you pinned to the floor. He brings his lips to your ear and his weapon to your throat, and you swallow when you feel the heat right against your skin.

“I win.”

His voice is just a little louder than the humming of his lightsaber, which he finally extinguishes after a moment and tosses to the side. Still, he doesn’t remove his weight off of your body. You’re both breathing heavily, but at this point you don’t know whether it’s from the physical exertion or Vader’s proximity to you.

You’ve heard Force users older than you talk about how the Force is meant to guide you, how they often know what is right or wrong based on how the Force responds. You’re still trying to learn when and how to listen to it, but its teachings are frustratingly vague a lot of the time. When Vader removes his knee and leans down even further, and you sit up enough to connect your lips to his, the Force sings around you, rejoicing in the fruition of its hard work. Nothing has ever felt so right, and never have you been so sure of what the Force is trying to tell you than at this moment.

Vader’s lips, much like everything else about him, are rough and full of passion. Yet there’s a softness that he tries to keep hidden, one that translates to the way that he rests his hand against the back of your head to pull you into him. You wrap your own arms around his neck in response, and he moves to straddle your waist.

This is wrong. It’s so, so wrong. This is a Sith Lord you’re kissing, one who’s made it clear that he wants to corrupt you into his apprentice. He serves as the enforcer for a cruel regime that seeks to bring the entire galaxy under its rule, and he does so with a bloodthirsty joy. He’s working to destroy the embers of hope that the Rebel Alliance is fanning into flames, the hope that you’re willing to defend with your life. Kissing him is wrong.

Why, then, does it feel so right? Why does the Force continue to put you in situations where you’re forced to work together and get close to each other, why does it give you dreams that you share with each other? You’re connected to Vader, like it or not, because the Force has willed it so. Right now, as he tilts your head back just a bit and licks his tongue against your lip until you grant him entrance, you like it very much.

It’s when he begins to trail his lips down your jaw to the spot behind your ear, when you tangle your fingers in his messy curls, that some semblance of logic returns to you. Not all of it, because your hormones are currently eating up most of your brain cells, but enough that you realize that if you don’t stop this now, it’s not going to stop at all.

You muster all the strength that you can to put your hands on Vader’s chest and push him back from you. He’s the only Sith you’ve ever met, but he is the exact opposite of what you would expect a Sith to be. He doesn’t (usually) renege on his word, and he’s a gentleman that backs off the moment that you start trying to pull away. Those heated golden eyes of his are mired with confusion, and you want to assure him that it’s nothing that he did.

Instead, you say, “We can’t…be doing this.”

“Doing what?” he asks.

“This.” You motion between both of you. Getting to your feet, you summon your lightsaber and clip it onto your belt, using any excuse to not look him in the eyes.

“Why not? I thought you were enjoying it.”

“I was, and that’s the problem.” Only when you feel that you’ve put enough space between you and him do you turn around. “We’re enemies. Enemies don’t kiss; they don’t even meet up in secret!”

A smirk plays on his lips. “Y’know, a wise man once told me that ‘only a Sith deals in absolutes.’”

“Don’t you dare.” You point a shaking finger at him. “I am nothing like you or the Sith, and I never will be.”

It’s bad enough that you’re connected to a Sith in the way that you are. To think about the fact that you could carry traits of the Sith, traits that lie within those who are evil and fallen, is almost too much to bear. Vader must realize this by the way that he puts his hands up like he’s surrendering, showing you that he means no harm by what he said. The damage has been done, however, and you glare at him.

“Besides the fact that we are both betraying the causes we fight for by being here, this is also fundamentally wrong. I mean, a Jedi and a Sith, light and dark. It doesn’t make sense, it doesn’t work! We’ll collide eventually and burn each other out.”

Vader shakes his head. “I don’t believe that.”

“It’s the truth!”

“Screw the truth!” He crosses the room in only a couple of strides thanks to his long legs, grabbing your arms in his hands. Even this action, with so much intensity behind it, manages to be gentle. “The Force has brought us together for a reason. You wouldn’t be here, with me, if you didn’t feel it too.”

“Vader–”

“Anakin,” he interrupts, shaking his head furiously. “Call me Anakin.”

“You told me that that name died on Mustafar.”

Your voice is trembling now, everything becoming too real. This was supposed to be a productive meeting where you would hopefully work together to figure out how to remove whatever bonded you in the Force. Now you’re kissing and fighting like lovers and he’s insisting that you call him a name that nobody else is allowed to use. The air in the room suddenly feels a little too thin, your breath coming out harshly as you try to remember to breathe.

You wrench yourself out of his arms. Though he’s strong enough to overpower you if he wanted to, he lets you go. You stumble backwards and yell, “Stop playing your mind games with me!”

“You think that I don’t feel just as insane as you do? I don’t know what’s worse, that I haven’t killed you or that I don’t want to kill you.”

“That makes two of us, then.” You rub your hand hardly over your face, ridding yourself of any of the angry tears that you can feel building up at the backs of your eyes. “I’ll go with you to Takodana so that we can follow your lead, you just tell me where to be and when. But if this one doesn’t pan out, that’s it.”

Vader can only watch as you turn to go back to your ship. “What do you mean?”

“I mean that I’ll do anything to sever this bond,” you call over your shoulder. “Even if that means I have to kill you.”

When you keep walking and don’t turn back, he calls your name. Your real name, not ‘Rebel.’ You don’t think he’s ever done that before. It makes you stumble in your determined walk, and you look at him with wide eyes. Vader stalks over to you and grabs your arm, pulling you in before he kisses you once more. Your teeth clack against his as your lips angrily meet; this is nothing like the sweet kiss you previously shared, and nor should it be. You’re both mad–at the circumstances that have brought you together, at being on opposite sides and viewpoints, at having feelings that neither of you want to have.

Vader pulls away, taking steps back while still staring at you. You’ve never hated a person so much while also wanting to kiss that same person so much. You wipe the back of your hand against your mouth and walk away again.

“Takodana,” he says. “I’ll let you know when to meet me there. And believe me, I will see you there.”

This is terrible, you think as you fly back to the base you’ve been stationed at for the past month. This is complicated and messy and it’s with arguably the worst person you could be in this sort of a situation with. You want this bond severed, and you repeat that to yourself even as you bring your fingers to your lips while they still tingle from the intensity of Vader’s kisses.

MOST INTENSE SYNASTRY ASPECTS:

Mars opposite Pluto: This aspect isn’t talked about much because it tends to be somewhat rare. The best way to describe it is a taboo and magnetizing attraction to one another. One partner may be very intimidated by the other. In my personal relationship I have found the Pluto partner to be the obsessive one, while the mars partner tends to rebel against Pluto’s controlling nature. The sexual connection here isn’t over exaggerated. Sex is a power play. Sex is a mode of control and manipulation from both sides. This aspect can also breed vengeance. The Pluto partner desperately wants to possess the mars partner, and in doing so can become aggressive, and needlessly cruel to the mars partner. Overall this relationship includes dramatic displays of affection, and an overall taboo vibe to the entire relationship. Mars/Venus conjunct Lilith: From the very start the attraction here can feel as magnetizing as it is frightening. It can create an intense and raw connection between two people. Although there is clearly darkness creeping into the intimate moments together. With this aspect you may question if this relationship is right. You feel so drawn to each other, yet there is a repulsion that you can’t quite put your finger on. A relationship filled with intense stares, and indescribable tension. It’s the unbelievable sex that’s followed by a horrible gut feeling afterwards. Its giving into your temptation even though you know it’s wrong. This person, although they may be attractive, just irks you. Not in the way that would make you grossed out, but something deeper. Nonetheless, the sexual connection is incredible. 🦋 Now I don’t like to talk about how Scorpio and Aries mars are seen as "sexy" because it's been said trillions of times (even tho I like to read them because I'm a scorpio mars 💀). But hear me out, the most prominent thing about all scorpio mars individuals is that they like to move in complete silence, like they don't exist, like you will never catch them. Every decision they take in life is private, because that's the only way they can shock you with their big success and revenge on all people that didn't believe in them. They want to keep you guessing and never give you answers but will show actions and accomplishments only. Their biggest dream is to come out on top once everyone has forgotten about them (or not), but to see your jaw droppin is their wet dream loool.

🦋 Mercury conjunct Uranus? and all aspects for that matter, but especially the conjunction. You cannot convince me that these individuals are not geniuses, no matter how dumb they act. Take care of your mind, it's something special gorg. Also your voice must be so unique, it stays on someone's mind and is so vivid when they think of you.

🦋 Mercury conjunct Jupiter, the philosopher. You just like to talk about abstract and broad topics. Spiritualist at heart, rational to deny it often tho. You have sooo many interests it's insane. You are the jack of all trades. People expect you to know things? You come off as a know it all, even if you don't mean it (yea I have it I relate). You have lessons to learn and teach those around you especially about their concept of life and beliefs. Any compliment you give can mean a lot to people. Your positivity is infectious.

🦋 Mercury aspecting Jupiter, especially conjunctions can give a lot of optimism, this applies to neptune positively aspecting chiron as well. I see it in charts of people that have heavy saturn, pluto or chiron energy, to balance the darkness, their ability to think positively is healing to them and others because likely other things are destroying them in life and they already have many wounds. Your optimism is not an illusion, it's a gift from the universe. Life gets better as you spiritually evolve.

🦋 Moon opposite/square mercury, such a hard aspect. A constant mental and emotional conflict. You don't know whether to trust your thoughts or emotions. You don't know when you're trusting either. There is a direct and strong influence of thoughts on emotions. Now that means your thought can hurt you or elevate you so be careful. Especially at a young age your thoughts and others' thoughts have hurt you deeply, as you grow you learn how to balance it out, to not give a f*ck. The good thing about this aspect is that these people pick up on their thought patterns easily and have potential to manipulate their minds to their benefit. Mental health is important to these individuals. Don't let your mind run wild especially in a negative direction. It's also important to surround yourselves with positive people. Music might be important for you to process emotions.

🦋 Conjunctions are far from being "neutral" aspects imo. They are powerful natural talents and gifts in perspective, confidence, expression and skills. These aspects are always positive, even to challenging planets, if they act negatively then there are likely other challenging aspects to the same planets, the native might have not learned yet how to work with this energy or hasn’t realized their potential. Conjunctions are the highest and strongest potential any two planets can reach. The planets don't become "one", they rather meet eye to eye, acknowledge their qualities fully and work out their differences beautifully which manifests in the form of talents and potential. Yes like all aspects they got their negatives too but their positives enormously surpass the negatives. Conjunctions are highly positive aspects, it's unfair to call them neutral.

DuckTales Team Ideas:

You know what love about DuckTales?! A lot of things. But more specifically the found family aspect of the show and all of its characters!! I love that within this found family are groups/teams built up from this group of badass adventurers. You got your Team Science, Webby and her friends, the Duck Boys, the Original Three, etc. But you know what? We can make even more teams out of these fun characters! So here’s a list of team up ideas that I think would be fun! Post-canon stuff up ahead so beware of spoilers:

Rules for teams:

1. Must consist of at least three people, cause Disney loves their trios

2. Must have a team name

3. A third rule, cause trios

The Moon Crew: Della, Selene, and Penumbra

I made a post about this team up before but I’ll post it again. We need Della to go on adventure with her badass Amazon girlfriends. It’d be fun. Personally I think the adventure should be a fish out of water story in Duckburg. I mean think about it, one’s a goddess, one’s a moon lander, and the final member hasn’t been on earth for an entire decade. Imagine the shenanigans! Well I can, I’m working on a story about that. Well not about that particularly but it’s an aspect of the story. Anyway moving on

Team Webby: Dewey, Lena, and Violet

Do you know what I’d like to see? Webby’s best friends (yeah I don’t care what Scrooge said, Dewey can be Webby’s family and best friend) team-up to save Webby from Magica. I think it’d make for a fun adventure.

(Also at one point Dewey needs to say Bippity Boppity Dew! Like at the moment the group stops Magica and her evil plan)

SEA-Nior Junior Woodchucks: Fethry, Huey, and Violet (Also Launchpad and BOYD, but I’m picking main threes here cause trios)

Who doesn’t love these three? Jerks! That’s who! We need more Fethry! Huey is great! Violet is underrated! They’re all Junior Woodchucks! And they need to go on a sea related adventure! Also they’re all…

Bad Bit Rebel Squad: Gandra, Gosalyn, and Lena

Stop me if you heard this one before: a good natured loving hero gets paired up with a snarky street smart loner. Anyway. What if we put all that sass together in one killer trio? No villain would be able to stand up to that much sass

Bad Bitches would be a group that consists of Della, Gandra, Gosalyn, Lena, Penumbra, and Goldie. And you know what? Throw Louie in there as well

Spy Team: Dewey, Gandra, and Webby

So…anybody else think it would’ve been so great to see these three team-up? They all have a spy background! Webby’s granny is a spy, Gandra is a spy, Dewey dew-geared Double O Duck with Launchpad*. It would be cool to see Webby and Gandra fight on the same side. Plus I think Dewey and Gandra has great comedic potential [shameful fanfic plug] Also you Beakley and Launchpad could also be a part of that team. Now the question is: Would the Beakley and Gandra dynamic be more Beakley and Lena 2.0 or Beakley and Della 2.0? Only you can decide!

SIX SEASONS AND A MOVIE!

Clone McDucks: May, June, and Webby

Yeah, we needed to see these three get in their own adventure together. It would’ve been great. I think they’d embrace the fact that they’re clones but they’re own person. Also Clone McDuck sounds similar to Clan McDuck. I thought it was cute. Also I really just want to drive the point home that they’re clones just to irk those reading this who didn’t care for the final twist. I mean I thought it was cool and I loved rewatching the entire series a second time while knowing the twist. It gave me a whole new perspective on the series and they really foreshadowed in parts I didn’t notice on my first watch through but hey everyone is entitled to their own opinion

The Justice Ducks: Darkwing Duck, Gizmoduck, Storkules, Penumbra

Any fan of the original Darkwing Duck should be familiar with the Justice Ducks. Well I always thought if that team were to ever be brought into the DuckTales 2017 universe that both Storkules and Penumbra would fit in perfectly with that group. Both Penumbra and Storkules are warriors that fought for their people and have struggled to fit in with the world, so why not have a job that involves doing what they do best? Fighting for those they care about

Colby Brock | Lilith Analysis.

–> This GIF is probably the only one I could find that gives off the most Lilith energy aha.

–> In Astrology, Lilith is usually referred to as the "Dark Moon" or the "Black Moon" and represents a mysterious and deeper aspect of our pysche. Lilith is not a physical celestial body like the Sun or the Moon, but is a point in our astrological charts that represent our shadow self, repressed desires and darkest fears. — she's also associated with themes of Rebellion, Independence and Liberation. She is seen as a symbol of feminine power and s*xuality, but is also afraid of rejection and exile.

In Mythology, Lilith is said to be Adam's first wife who refused to be subservient to him, and as a result, she was banished from the Garden of Eden. This story represents Lilith's strong sense of independence and refusal to conform to societal norms.

Wherever Lilith is placed in a person's chart can reveal where they'll feel marginalized, where they'll rebel against authority, their unresolved issues around power and control, where they'll feel an intense sense of shame and guilt, where they feel intimated and where they'll need to confront and embrace their darker sides.

Despite her influence being complex, intense and creating inner turmoil and conflict within us; by acknowledging and working with the energy of Lilith, we can learn to embrace our shadows, reclaim our power and find a deeper sense of self-acceptance and empowerment.

Once we learn to activate our Lilith placement and officially use this to step into our personal power. This includes rejecting almost everything about the way society wants us to be. A better way to phrase this is: “to be in the world, but not of it.” — It's a point where you can powerfully express your uniqueness through.

Colby has his Lilith in the Sign of Leo in the 7th house at the 21st Degree.

First of all, yes, this is most likely where his fear of Commitment shines through, aswell as maybe having tendencies of pushing people away or creating distance to maintain a sense of control. He has a strong desire for freedom and likely has/had struggles with feelings of being confined in a relationship.

Inappropriate relationships, attraction to third party situationships, attraction to the toxic people, being a homewrecker and turning people against eachother are the some of the things that this placement is guilty of. (Not everything, of course, but a good amount.)

I'm guessing he has some sort of desire to be close to someone, but at the same time, he doesn't know how he can do it in a healthy way and since he can feel as if he's incomplete on his own, I guess that he wants to commit, but at the same time he's also deathly afraid of it. He's terrified of losing his freedom yet craving the attention. (Chiron in his 8th and His Moon in Libra play into this)

Also, love triangles and being the third person especially could be prone here.

Is he destined to be alone? No, definitely not but keep in mind that relationships are not easy with this placement. His best relationships are most likely to happen later on in life. (Potentially after the Saturn Return)

Trust and Loyalty is extremely demanded for him in a relationship. possessiveness, envy and manipulation can be triggered here sometimes even after an ended relationship. Unconsciously, he'll want his partner to stay loyal even when a new relationship occurs between one of them.

People with this placement rarely get over any past love. Even when the relationship doesn’t work, he'd rather seek adventures then completely exit the relationship. Then again, this one shouldn't be too suprising because I've never seen a Capricorn placement overcome anything, ever. Lol.

Oh and this is definitely a placement where someone will becomes obsessed with him after a breakup of some sort.

He'll unconsciously be attracted to partners who embody the themes of Lilith. This is especially the case when younger. This could also suggest partners who are in some way unavailable (emotionally or physically)

His Lilith ruler is the Sun which sits in his 11th house, therefore he'll encourage Lilith's influences strongly in matters related to friendships, social networks, and goals and aspirations. There may be a tendency to attract unconventional or disruptive friendships, or to challenge traditional roles and expectations within social groups.

With his Lilith squared to his MC, wild, untamed nature clashes with and his public image or career aspirations. There's a tenstion between expressing his authentic self and conforming to societal expectations. He may struggle with how much of his true self he can reveal in his professional life, or he feels pressured to suppress certain aspects of himself in order to fit in / be successful in his career.

And the opposition to the 1st house suggests that these issues are linked to his sense of self, how he asserts himself in the world and how he struggle with expression his true desires and needs in relationships; leading to conflicts and misunderstandings.

The 7th house is also known for the house of balance and harmony, some more of his key areas he needs to move away from is: people pleasing, being naive, being too nice for his own good, losing himself through the sake of pleasing people, using politeness as a weapon, passive aggressiveness, and manipulation instead of confrontation.

Now for the areas that he's stepping in to activate are: excellent charm and social skills, seeing his own faults in relationships, learning that confrontation is needed, compassion, supportiveness instead of competitivity towards others especially of his gender, seeing his own beauty instead of focusing on others, and setting boundaries.

To him, he may think that love and admiration can only be gained if he does something incredible so his childhood might have molded him into this incredibly ambitious person with big dreams. He feels worthless if he isn't adored and just wants the love and attention that he feels as if he lacks. He can come off as super insecure, super arrogant or even both and most people with this placement hate being alone.

There's also a tendency for him to stir up drama out of boredom so be wary of that.

Hi! Thank you so much for this question! I'll be happy to answer💕

Each clone is unique and many of them have a special place in my heart, but there is one that is especially close to me. I was looking for a character that would fit me the most for a long time. First Obi-Wan, then Rex and Tech, but in the end Echo took first place. I feel connected with him the most. I could write an entire essay on why Echo is my favorite clone- I'm sorry if I write a bit too much- I think I won't be able to include all aspects anyway. Echo is just perfect in his imperfections❤️

I can mostly identify with Echo's personality and personal change due to the events he's been through. Fortunately, not with his medical trauma.

Echo used to follow every order and tried to be the perfect soldier. He constantly tried to deepen his knowledge, to be as effective as possible. Even his own brothers were laughing at him, when he concentrated on reading reg manuals. He also had some problems with adapting to new situations, which did not fit in the number of things he had learned so far. He needed experience, which he gained quickly after completing cadet training and joining the army. He wasn't a shiny anymore.

Thanks to his will to fight for what is right and his skills, Echo became an ARC trooper, side-by-side with soldiers of one of the most effective Legions. He learned how to improvise in the middle of fight and gained experience alongside one of the best captains, who also became his close friend and role model. They trusted each other and, thanks to their tactical instinct, created special plans together that were used in battles even long after the Citadel. After this mission, everything changed. This rule-following soldier didn't hesitate for a second on the battlefield. He had to act quickly. He was ready to give his life and he was given a second chance.

Echo always had a brother by his side- a soul mate who always supported him. Fives... They were the last two domino, and they were still standing despite all terrors they had to experience. No matter what happened, they always had each other. They complemented each other like the sun and the moon - one could not shine without the other. Echo - always organized, calm, quiet and a bit introverted. Fives - a bit crazy, cheerful, open and rather extroverted. It's a very similar type of dynamism between me and my sister. (but, as time goes by, I see my sister becoming a bit more like Tech, which makes my heart go even closer to Echo.)

Due to this traumatic event in his life, Echo has changed a lot. After rescuing him from Skako Minor, he had much to do to restore both his physical and mental health. He had to get used to the overwhelming amount of changes that had taken place in his body and around him. After all, he now lived in a world without his twin... he had become the last piece of domino.

Despite his own problems and difficulties, he put on a brave face and did his best to compensate for the losses he had unwillingly caused. Thanks to him, the scales of victory shifted for the Republic.

However, Echo had changed so much that he no longer found himself as a member of 501st. Legion. With the support of Rex and his new squad, he decided to join the Bad Batch. He went from being a rule follower, to a Rebel who didn't follow the rules at all. Even though he had a new family, he never forgot about his closest brother, and always tried to be where he was needed the most.

Not only did his physical appearance change, but so did his personality. He is more mature and assertive than his past self. He fits perfectly into being a "mom", he is caring, observant and ready to make any sacrifices for his family. Sometimes all it takes is one look to understand that something is wrong. He may seem a bit cold and distant at first, but inside he hides a lot of good, not just bad experiences. He needs some time to adapt to the changes, but when someone gets to know him better, he becomes more open and trusting. He also tries to be close to Omega, who, like him, shares similar trauma of being a "lab rat". He is looking for someone who will understand and accept him for who he is.

Echo wants to be useful and is afraid of being left without the ability to do something, to defend himself. He's also afraid of being lonely. Despite all the hell he went through, he can still be gentle, tender and compassionate. Despite his own doubts, he is able to silence emotions at a critical moment and control the situation. He is the most experienced in Bad Batch and knows how to make the best of it. He has lost many brothers and you can tell he is used to constant grief, but each loss hurts just as much.

I think the main reason why I love Echo so much is that I can relate to his changes at some personal point. There was also a "breaking point" in my life. I lost a person who was very close to me, my role model, the person who introduced me to the Star Wars Universe, someone I could always count on, who always stood by my side, someone who was like Rex to Echo... my dad... It was unexpected, quick and forced our family to make changes that I really don't like and find it hard to get used to. As an older sister, I try to fill the gap that is left. I try to make everyone happy, often ignoring my own feelings.

I used to be very quiet, extremely introverted, struggling with anxieties and problems related to relationships with other people. As a child, I was not liked that much and I was a loner. I preferred to lock myself in my room with music on and read books or simply study alone. However, life forced me to change. I try to be more open and overcome my own weaknesses. I've also learned not to shut down my emotions, which has been a great relief. Sometimes it's worth talking to someone and that's why I'm so grateful that I have my sister - my Fives and my Tech❤️ Life goes on and you have to deal with it. Now I am stronger and try to be the best version of myself. I try to stay positive and share a smile with others.

Echo is a person who deserves to be happy. If I had one last hug, I would give it to him without hesitation.

Roleplaying Races 14: Trox

And here we have another example of an ancestry originally created as an example in ARG’s race builder, this one demonstrating how strange and powerful you could make a playable race. The result was powerful and bulky beetle-folk with a chip on their shoulder.

While there doesn’t seem to be any one specific inspiration for this ancestry, fantasy has always been full of big, monstrous peoples who may or may not actually be surprisingly gentle despite their bulk and fearsomeness.

Interestingly, trox got a major update to their lore in Starfinder, which we’ll talk about momentarily.

As we learn in Starfinder, the trox as a people were created by the goddess Hylax as her envoys and sentinels, and are in fact native to the Liavaran moon of Nchak. However, while the majority of their people lived in relative peace, that group is not who we are talking about today.

You see, many trox were sealed inside protective asteroids by their goddess and launched to various other worlds to serve as envoys for her diplomatic ways, and one such stone fell to Golarion in the ancient past. However, the Golarion clan had the misfortune of being discovered by the duergar , who saw their physical might and similarity to the giant beetles they already used as beasts of burden and enslaved them, subjecting them to eugenic breeding programs and alchemical enhancement to turn them into powerful brutes.

Many trox have since rebelled and broken free, escaping to the surface, only to discover that the evils of slavery were present there as well. As such, while they retain some aspects of their heritage, the trox of Golarion are distrustful of other species due to the suffering their people have gone through.

Sporting heavy chitin elytra, mandibles, and armor, trox resemble humanoid beetles, but they are not fully arthropod-like in anatomy, sporting an internal skeleton as well and soft fleshy parts as well. Additionally, they also sport an array of smaller appendages on their chests in addition to their bipedal arms and legs. While not strong and articulate enough to wield objects, they can come in handy.

While the trox of Golarion have become brutish and somewhat violent, they share with their ancestors a strong sense of community that overrides personal desires, they also prove inquisitive, eager to learn about the ways of others, and fiercely loyal to those the call friends. Sadly, the vast majority of them still live in slavery, either to the duergar or to surface slavers of various peoples.

Trox are immensely strong, but centuries of conditioning have dulled their minds in all regards.

Despite their bulk, they prove surprisingly agile when they need to be.

Their night-eyes also suit them well for a life underground.

This in turn is fueled by their powerful digging claws, making them swift under the ground.

The conditioning that they were subjected to and the subsequent fury this engenders also makes them surprisingly violent when replying to the attacks of foes that have harmed them.

Additionally, their grabbing appendages are quite useful for latching onto a grappled foe, freeing up their arms to fight other foes.

There is one alternate option for the trox, representing those trox that have trained themselves to abandon their rage and focus, tapping into an atrophied vibration sense, all the better to notice when invisible foes like their duergar slavers are coming.

With their extremely high strength bonus, trox are very suited for melee builds, particularly grapple builds thanks to their extra appendages, making any combat class a good pick for them. The penalty to all three mental stats is something of a deterrent for any caster or skill-based class, but not an insurmountable one. In fact, the fact that their penalty applies to all three means that it’s almost like the board is even between the three, just expect to have to make a little effort to bring them in line with other casters and characters. Any class that can blend casting with more traditional combat will probably work best for them, such as druid, magus, paladin, and warpriest.

For my fellow Snyder Fans I recommend these reviews because they are good critiques that engage with the work. I also recommend them to those that didn't like the film. Not to change your mind but to offer pieces of genuine criticism.

A SPACE OPERA GONE OPERATIC by Joshua Polanski

Excerpt:

Rebel Moon was originally conceived of as a Star Wars film but, freed from the burdens of canon and Disney’s top-down production management, the end result feels less like a derivation and more like a successor. I wouldn’t dare suggest it will have the same sort of cultural influence as Star Wars — that’s a fundamentally irreplicable phenomenon in the streaming age. Yet, when compared to the recent garbage from Disney (Marvel and Star Wars both), Snyder proves the most capable and artful custodian of the extravagant, quasi-religious space-opera. His longstanding technical mastery that evolved into mainstream formal iconoclasm with the extreme shallow focus with the 15mm Canon dream lens of Army of the Dead and the 4:3 aspect ratio for Zack Snyder’s Justice League (2021) is taken to new extremes with the creative freedom provided by Netflix. Snyder’s inviolable picture bids for a better Hollywood. If we’re lucky, it might even be a taste of what’s to come.

Rebel Moon Part One: A Child of Fire Review by Kilo Orange

The village reminded me of the famous painting by Jean-François Millet, which shows two peasants saying a prayer over the soil. It would fit, for that painting is about the "Angelus", a prayer about the Virgin Mary being told she would conceive and bear the Messiah, and here we have the virginal Kora with her seeds, the fruit of her womb, after lifting out a barren rock. Of course, with Snyder's knowledge of art and artistic subversion, he'd know about that painting, and that Salvador Dali (another subversive Catholic) suggested it wasn't an Angelus prayer, but that the two peasants were actually praying over a dead child. And when the painting was X-rayed, they did indeed find a child's coffin had been painted over. Millet had turned grief into a prayer.

That's what Zack Snyder does in Rebel Moon.

A dead child. Snyder's grief has not abated over his daughter's suicide in 2017 and now it's loudly joined by the curse that will affect all survivors of a loved one’s suicide - guilt. This film is infused with guilt. All the heroes who we collect as the film goes on feel guilty about some tragedy in their past.

Rebels of the World Unite (and Take Over) by John Demetry

Excerpt:

Following an assassination of the Mother World’s King and his family that severed the galaxy’s royal bloodline, Kora hides on Veldt. That’s where the film opens. Snyder visualizes Kora’s idyll and the Mother World’s encroachment into it with sexual symbolism. A phallic spacecraft penetrates a yonic fold in space-time accompanied by Tom Holkenborg’s monolithic score (a sound-visual consummation worthy of Stanley Kubrick’s 2001: A Space Odyssey).
