I truly can't believe this.
I'm so emotional, they're all almost gone now. Out there embarking on this new experience. I knew we weren't gonna be ready whenever it happened.
Tbh for the past 2-3 years I've always had this absurd idea that JM&JK were gonna enlist together at the same time (just because you know..) but I never knew/thought that there was actually an option which enabled them to actually stay together the whole 18 months 😭 I'm so glad and relieved they'll be there to support each other like that 🥹
This type of arrangement speaks volumes.
Tomorrow is gonna be tough 💔

When it REALLY sinks in, it's epic that Jungkook and Jimin will be side by side, for their 18 month enlistment.
Considering all of the factors, and the miraculous fact that the computer randomly selected their application, yeah it's EPIC.

Well, no fanfare to speak of, just a couple of black cars driving through the gate. And…it’s done. Jikook are officially off the radar.

I’m so relieved they will be together. I always hoped for this, though I never imagined it would be so “loud”. They literally moved heaven and earth to be together and I’m just so happy it worked out for them. I am going to miss them terribly….but will be waiting (not so) patiently for their return.

#which i think he would have been 36 in 1848. so i presume this paper is probably from when he first enlisted or joined up or whatever#and he was just keeping all his official papers folded together in his wallet forever so he didnt lose anything#also for the record i'm pretty sure 'sallow' isn't correct but i don't know enough about which terms to describe complexion were popular#amongst circa 1820s british navy papers#like what fucking adjectives they would have been using etc etc#so if anyones more familiar w that feel free to lmk your thoughts i guess#but if he was pale and exhausted (as white british victorian dudes generally tended to be) then 'sallow' makes sense to me at least#but the W also looks like it could be a G#like complexion: Sall_gh_#but idk what the fuck word that could be#'sallough'

people need to stop celebrating the fact that scoups is exempt from military enlistment. people have started to only focus on the fact that he’s not going and ignore the fact that he had a serious injury which is why he’s exempt. real carats who actually cared about their artist’s health would much rather have the standard 1.5-2 year hiatus for military and a completely healthy artist than an injured one not going.
#zanna speaks??#i also feel like military enlistment became such a bigger deal than it should#companies feel like they have to keep the group active#even with missing members#just so the fans have content#but I think most fans would rather have all the members enlist together#and have them all come back together so that the group is complete#there are ways to pre film content to put out during this time#and there’s always old content to rewatch too#but I don’t think it’s gonna start to become a regular thing#given that only 1 group has EVER done that#and even with the onf situation yuto (the one jap member) did his best to feed the fans while the others were gone#seventeen have foreign members too#it’s not like it would have been pin drop silent with no content if all the korean members enlisted at the same time#idk it just feels like carats are becoming a lot more toxic than they used to be#I hate to see the shift

So I'm watching clips from the live again, and man jeongguk was like soft soft for jimin. Like I know I'm just repeating myself at this point, but it felt a little different than what we're used to seeing right? Like he was seeking out jimin so much and it surprised me, despite all the jikookery shenanigans we've seen over the years...

The angel chariot
Eagle-eye Army spotted the fact that Jungkook's company car that whisked him away from Incheon airport upon his arrival from Los Angeles was the same one that Jimin used this past December for his comings and goings to the airport. Same license plate. [First 4 numerals/characters obscured to protect the innocent and cover my ass. Also not providing the link to eagle-eye army in the interest of keeping the imbeciles away from them.]
I tried to spy the license plate of the cars during their other past airport comings and goings but they were moving too fast/obscured by objects or people.
Maybe not Jimin or Jungkook but it was used to carry SOMEONE to Hobi's enlistment:
Of course BigHit has a fleet of these identical black KIA Carnival limousines and who knows if actual vehicles/drivers are assigned to specific members, but it was interesting to see and think about.
However, here is a curious bit of trivia: the number 5469 is supposedly the "angel" number. Various sources describe 5469 as:

And this:

Anyway, is there a real significance in coming and going in the same car for their separate activities? Of course not. Like I said, we can't know if it's pure coincidence or if members are assigned specific cars/drivers etc. It was just something someone noticed and I'm passing on this extreme level of delulu to you because I aim to please.
The Jikook hug: the live action "I miss you"/"me too" played out right in front of us.
You can't convince me otherwise that when these two are together on their own time, they are up in each other's space in a way that would make you and me blush uncomfortably. It's the way they look at each other and the way they talk to each other. Yes, Jimin gives the best hugs and right before he dove into Jungkook, he gave Hobi the warmest, tightest "I love you hyung" hug as well ... JK's eyes following Jimin all the way until Hobi receives his hug. Honestly, Jungkook seemed like he was patiently anticipating a hug from Jimin too ... it is the attentiveness or awareness of each other and creates a Jimin and Jungkook aura and adds an extra level to their closeness.
Kookie keeps his eyes on his Jiminie all the time and he seems to enjoy his touching. The way JK pulled Jimin in and held on to him...no matter the level of delulu you subscribe to, their bodies in that full frontal, smushed together, I-MISSED-YOU-COME-HERE-BABY-I-LOVE-YOU hug just makes me really happy for them.
So playful and easy with each other.
Yep, I know what I see. If you can't see it, I'm sorry. I don't know how to transfer that ability to detect it to you. If I could, I would so everyone can feel their love for each other.
Did they miss each other? Absolutely. How long had they been apart? 3 weeks? 3 hours? 3 minutes? What difference does it make?
Who knows, maybe they rode back home to Seoul in the angel chariot XXXX-5469 and spent some quality time together before they separated again for their respective solo activities and whatever those might be, we will find out eventually!

Looks like there won't be a livestream of the upcoming enlistments....
The notification doesn't even give us a date. I know we all have seen the 11th and 12th shared, yet HYBE hasn't confirmed.
At least they did confirm that Jimin and Jungkook are enlisting together. Thank goodness.
The 11th and 12th are going to be hard to navigate, and then the days that follow. I hope that we can all help one another through the coming months, with kindness and compassion. 💜💜💜
