Henderson and Martha backstory in today's new chapter...was not expecting that, but it was really good! I know people were shipping them before, but now the ship has really set sail 😅
Tumblr media
So Martha is the origin of Henderson's "Elegant" catchphrase...how cute, lol.
Tumblr media
Now we know why Henderson was so shocked when Becky said this! 😂
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I'm not into reading fanfics, but I still got some "Twiyor Eden AU" vibes from this chapter!
Tumblr media
I see some of Twilight in young Henderson: Twilight is constantly conflicted with keeping up his spy persona despite growing feelings for his family, just like Henderson was obsessed with perfectly upholding the rules of Eden...until he started to realize that even the prestigious school was being corrupted.
Tumblr media
Also similarly, Twilight's realization about the need for information, which eventually led to him becoming a spy, is just like Henderson's realization about the need for education, which led to him becoming a teacher.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And still another similarity is Henderson becoming so obsessed with his pursuit of education that he cast aside desires of wanting to have fun and enhance relationships with others...just as Twilight has been doing since he became a spy. But it seems like present day Henderson realized how ignorant he was back then...maybe Twilight will eventually realize this about himself as well?
Tumblr media
I've mentioned many times before that I love how Endo is able to so seamlessly bring darker themes into otherwise non-dark stories, which makes the setting, characters, etc, more interesting. Even in something so simple like the short mission with Bond last chapter where he gives a glimpse into the horrors of animal experimentation, in this chapter he brings in themes of impending war and corrupt education in what would otherwise be a benign school romance story.
Tumblr media
Looks like this arc will continue with at least another chapter, possibly more! I'm still curious to see how Martha ended up becoming a soldier and eventually working for the Blackbells. Or maybe she ended up being part of Garden, as some people theorize. Regardless, I really don't think ballet stayed her main focus throughout her life. Also, didn't Henderson eventually get married and have a child later on? Hope we'll learn even more about them in the next chapter!

So I finished Ruin and. . . Hoh boy.
Per usual, everything will be below the cut (THERE WILL BE SPOILERS)
The dlc was short but it was super immersive! I was at the point where I was easily losing track of time because I was so lost in the scenery but, we're gonna go in order here of everything that happened!
First, the walkie talkies!! They're so cute, and I love how each one is related to an animatronic (or at least two of them with the Roxy Walky and the Freddy Walky)
Tumblr media
Next, the Faz-wrench was such a neat little addition to the mechanics. It gave Cassie her own thing compared to Gregory and it tied into her background of her father being a technician. Plus, the mini game associated with it was super soothing to me for some reason!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The VANNI system and mask was also a SUPER neat touch. It felt like playing Help Wanted with the AR and electronic aspect. I loved how you had little tasks to complete to "breach the security" of each little area which ended in the Parent Node having its own little puzzle to solve in order to full breach it. Not to mention the goddamn Entity who stalked you in the AR world
A little sus that the mask was tied to Vanny, which makes me wonder if the game in Help Wanted was VR but instead of like an occulus or whatever, the item you needed to use was the VANNI mask. It would make sense considering the mask was one of the items you got in Help Wanted and it was the game that "made" Vanny herself
I wish the mask was explained more but I still understood why they didnt focus too hard on it. Maybe in the next DLC/game we'll get an explanation
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The Daycare scene was just as jarring as the original game! I both hated and loved it! I did find it super interesting how this time instead of trying to turn on the generators to stop Moon, you needed to turn them on to save Sun.
When Cassie used the Faz-wrench to "create" Eclipse I was pretty flabbergasted! there was a setting, apparently, at all times to combine Sun and Moon to create what looked to be the perfect Daycare Attendant. Which confused me as to why Fazbear Entertainment would risk ever letting Moon out if they could have just gotten rid of him completely?
And it was apparent that Sun and Moon were both suffering, but Sun was more so since he seems to be the dominant personality. The way he begs for help and even thanks Cassie as she leaves is tell-tale that he was having a horrible time being alone and trapped within his own mind.
Oh well, Eclipse is my baby and Kellen's soft voice for him was wonderful!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The part with the walking Endos was awful! Just like in the original game! I'm not even gonna bother posting screenshots of them! I hated them!
Tumblr media
The nod to the Freddy and Friends TV show was super cute, I loved it!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Monty's backstory in the Monty Golf was an eye opener as well. You see Monty's roots in the first scene as a One Man Band, playing in his swamp/bayou to whomever will listen.
In the second scene you can see his admiration towards the original band of Freddy, Chica, Roxy, and Bonnie. Notably, Monty and Bonnie seem to be looking at each other, which makes me feel like Monty was more so admiring Bonnie rather than the entire band or even Freddy. Freddy is also completely darkened/outside of the light. Which matches what we know about Monty and his inferiority complex towards Freddy and his fame as the face of FazEnt and the Pizzaplex.
In the next scene, you see Bonnie (partially cut off) giving his guitar to Monty, a passing of the torch. The final scene is Roxy "glamming" Monty up for his spot on the band
Now, this all sorta flips what we know about Monty and Bonnie's relationship on its head. In the prior game it's hinted that Monty might have shattered Bonnie in order to take his spot because he was jealous of him or hated him or whatever but. . .If that were the case, why would Monty use Bonnie's bass and wear his glasses? If he hated the guy so much, why use his items and therefor constantly be reminded of him? And why would his attraction in Monty Golf revolve around his admiration for Bonnie if the feelings he had for him were the complete opposite?
I think Monty and Bonnie were fine with each other, or at least friendly in a mentor/student way, and Bonnie being shattered was either something William/Glitchtrap/Burntrap and Vannie facilitated or could have been something where Bonnie fell from the catwalk above Monty Golf and got shattered that way.
Monty seems to hate Freddy more than anything or anyone else, judging by the decapitated Freddy statues in Monty Golf and his cutout being blacked out. and it would fit with that one ending where Freddy ran away and Monty took his place. Idk man, my brain was SWIRLING over this
Plus that whole scene/puzzle in Monty Golf catwalk was both annoying and fun with the blasters. Hate/loved it!
Tumblr media
The addition of the jammers was a neat little touch too. It made the game more difficult while also giving you a reason to actually perceive the Entity as a threat (since sometimes the jammers locked you in the AR mode, which is the only way the Entity can catch you)
Tumblr media
C....chowda....
Is it Chicken chowder? Seafood? it's even served in a bread bowl and I....I love breadbowls....so much.....
Tumblr media
Poor Roxy, man.... She can't see anymore, but she still sits in front of the broken mirror in her Salon and berates herself.....
Tumblr media Tumblr media
They're echoing each other.....
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This is pretty heartbreaking.
Here's Cassie, presumably on a birthday or some outting to the Pizzaplex, spending time with her favorite animatronic and getting dolled up to look like her, only to end up sobbing all alone and ruining her makeup. And then here's Gregory to comfort her, implying this might've been when they first became friends.
And it explains why Cassie cares so much about him. Gregory helped her when she needed it, and now she's here to do the same
Tumblr media
Every single part with Monty in the water was anxiety inducing and I hated it!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Oh. . .what cruel irony. . .
The one to decommission Monty was a neon sign of Bonnie, who was (presumably) either shattered by Monty or because of Monty, and was Monty's biggest inspiration and the object of his adoration. . .
Owch. . .
Tumblr media
I was not expecting this fucking go-kart to kill if it hit you so imagine my surprise when I see this cutscene and my brain hasn't registered my flight response so I end up getting knocked out of my fucking sketchers by some kart going 30 on a small stretch of asphalt.

The most dangerous rose in the garden - Thorn Princess
Report: Previously, I have analyzed Agent Twilight in previous posts. Now, I'm going to analyze Yor Forger's character.  Mother Forger and the most powerful killer in the world. And personally, my favorite character from all over SpyxFamily. This woman stole my heart completely.
Returning to the beginnings of the manga, the character of Yoru is introduced to us as a simple woman who works in the town hall.
Tumblr media
The conversation with her gossipy friends, gives us a preamble of how Yor unfolds with the world around her. Yor is seen as a woman with few social skills, who does not understand the concept of sarcasm, or perhaps, she does but prefers to ignore it. Yor doesn't mind being in a job, considered boring, with a boss looking at the employees, and having an employment relationship that is based on cruel mockery of her person. But Yor's life seems unchanging, stagnant, and seems resigned.
However, on more than one occasion, Camila and other characters subtly notice Yor's "potential." They recognize that she is a beautiful woman, with a large body and that if she put in a slight effort she could have many men surrendered by her. So, we know that, people are not indifferent to the presence of this woman.
The problem is that Yor seems so isolated from reality that her presence becomes obscured. And surely her clumsy comments, her opaque vibe, and perhaps her out-of-place reactions diminish her appeal.
Moving forward with the chapter. Then we discovered her code name: Thorns Princess . An exceptional killer who works under the orders of the Shopkeeper. However, the character of Yor as the chapters progress, meets Loid and Anya shows us that she is much more than a stereotype of killer/sexy or sweet girl/but very dumb.
Tumblr media
Yor is a constant paradox, on the one hand you have a naive woman who believes any pathetic excuse like "concussion therapy," but on the other hand you have a woman so insightful as to go unnoticed for Twilight.
Tumblr media
Yor in more than one opportunity has shown that he is able to see through Twilight. She perceives his emotions, and although her reasoning is generally naive, she manages to detect details that others do not. Twilight himself seems so confused with her that nothing seems to make sense when he's with Yor (and it don't have to have it)
Tumblr media
As a mother, Yor is shown as a lousy exemplar in fulfilling a mother's "duties." That actually, it just roles that society of the time trying to portray history. Basically, Yor is lousy cooking, her food not only tastes bad, but she can send you to the hospital or the cemetery. Certainly, all of Yor's doubts about her own performance fall on her lacking ability to cook, and her lack of experience of how a "couple" should act
Tumblr media
But, when you know its background story, every detail makes sense and allows you to empathize with the character:
On the one hand we know a lot about it, but this information is not as concrete as we would like. I'm pretty sure Endo won't stretch as far into Yor as he did into the Twilight backstory. But, come on, let's see how Garden recruited this woman. I really hope that in an arc they will explain more in depth how Jardin works.
Yor and Yuri lost their parents, under unknown circumstances. We assumed it was a side effect of the war, but it may not be the case or it may be. Yor being just a child, and being the older sister, she assumed the role of Yuri's mother.
Tumblr media
Yor at her young age proved to have an impressive level of maturity. She was a child, surely with many insecurities, fears and sadness for not having their parents. No one was there to care for her, guide her or think about her needs. Instead, she focused on priority- Yuri was the younger of the two, so she would make sure he didn't lack anything.
Yor must have cooked, without an instruction or guide. I'm not surprised she don't understand how to use kitchen tools. She was alone and the experience gained by trial and error. And this is the most clumsy and harsh way to learn, without someone to guide you. Which, is the role of parents. Yor must have developed her "common sense" by mere experience. In the end, Yor just experimented, and Yuri was the rabbit that survived the test
Tumblr media
It is here that I ask myself how a girl living in a field ended up recruited by Jardin?
Would she be a contact through her parents? Did Yuri and Yor's lack of memory make them forget who their father was and the work they had? or simply, her somewhat casual act similar to Twilight that was found by WISE
It seems to me that Jardin had two effects on Yor:
A job that would allow she to meet her brother's needs
But on the other hand, Garden represented sacrificing fundamental aspects of herself, causing Yor's social ineptitude.
Assassins as opposed to spies: Twilight's work requires him to be constantly interacting with all kinds of people. That's why he has so much practice and it's easy for him to handle any kind of conversation and shape his personality. Despite remaining a considerable time of coexistence, Twilight must avoid developing affection with enemies or objectives.
Yor's work doesn't need to live with the prey, or at least, she doesn't seem to need it. The assassin's job is to be stealthy and deadly, from the shadows appear and in a blink you are already in the other world. Yor must go unnoticed, make sharp sense and penetrating, perceiving danger and having the ability to react in time. By sharpening all her senses, Yor is even able to detect the desire for blood.
Tumblr media
No wonder she's so good at feeling any minor alteration in her false husband and daughter's emotions
Yor didn't develop social skills. And I think this is very convenient for Jardin. They need an individual who this constantly alert, reacting to the slightest sign of danger, and feeling no remorse. Being so unsociable makes Yor more dependent on her work, which favors the organization. Not losing his best killer. The shopkeeper himself seems unsure about the idea that Yor is softening because of her family, or that she is losing skills.
It is seen that Yor began her missions as an assassin from a very young age. She must have heard the crunch of bones, and cleaned the stench of blood and kept smiling so as not to worry her brother. The sociological impact of these experiences would atrophy anyone's mind.
Tumblr media
Causing Yor to see the world through the bloody eyes of a murderer. Constantly worrying about being found out, controlling her strength, and most of all dealing with the temptation to kill someone when they are an obstacle
Yor's primary instinct is to protect. Developing from the experience of raising his brother.
That is why her personality is derived in two opposite reactions: Her murderous instinct forces her to react in a violet way, annihilating whoever tries to physically and psychologically attack what she loves. At the same time, her heart and noble feelings hold her back. It reminds her not to abuse her strength and let herself be controlled by her emotions. Since it could kill an innocent civilian
I don't want to overthink. But, I think the reason Yor hits another when she's nervous and drunk, is because her self-defense instinct is so developed that when she panics. Her killer reflex is to hit whatever is in front of her.
Loid and Yuri have experienced it
All this has caused Yor to develop a lot of insecurities and complexes.
Yor thinks her strength represents destruction. What makes her dangerous, and that she is an assassin and that she has little experience in what others call "an ordinary life", does not make her worthy of anyone's love and patience.
But she forgets that her true strength lies in protecting what he loves and not giving up what she believes in. His persistence to be better is incredible and he gives everything of himself.
When Yor believes in herself and is determined, she becomes more attractive to the people around her. People are enthralled by its overwhelming tenacity
Tumblr media
The way Loid looks at her completely enthralled, proud and happy for her ♥ ♡
We can say that Yor is a beautiful, clumsy, distracted woman and a bundle of nerves when it comes to loving proximity. But she is also the strong, deadly and dangerous assassin that no one can stop.
I hope that in future chapters we can see more and more of Yor's evolution. And that she can understand that she has no way of being replaceable by anyone. She is a unique specimen, who yearns for peace as much as Twilight does, and protecting her family is her top priority. Which will surely make her much more relevant in the role of the Forger family.
And above all, the role that she can have to obtain world peace and identity disclosure

Mimic story in sb theory!!!!
Uh spoilers maybe…it’s been 3/4 weeks tho
Before I start, I wanna say that I don’t believe Tales From The Pizzaplex is FULLY canon.
Yes, Mimic does exist but I don’t think his backstory and personality from the TFTP is canon, maybe there’s some aspects that Steelwool put into game!Mimic.
The proof for this, is that game!Mimic is slow. When Cassie gets chased by Mimic, she runs but her stamina drops faster than Gregory and runs slower while Mimic is even slower than Cassie. And book!Mimic hunted a group of teenagers which are faster than Cassie and yet Mimic killed the group like it was nothing…
Another proof is in TFTP, book!Mimic rips people heads and limbs off and in Ruin, Mimic’s jumpscare shows him grabbing Cassie’s head to rip her.
But when you actually look at both Mimic jumpscare
Tumblr media Tumblr media
It looks like he’s trying to wack Cassie on the head instead of trying to grab or rip her and for the Mimic jumpscare without the suit, it looks like he’s putting his hand on front to Cassie’s face instead of his whole palm.
I also don’t believe GGY is canon, I mean sure, amnesia is a thing and Gregory could forgot about what he did
but then again…him being NATURALLY good at computer tech and hacking doesn’t really match to SB taken from his dialogue…
“I don’t know, it looks pretty complicated…”
It’s not that complicated actually, it’s just so much memorizing.
OK! Now let’s get officially started.
Tumblr media
Staffbot Silo/Post it room
In my theory on Mimic, I said he’s the one writing these notes, Vanny created him for the purpose of a physical body for Glitchtrap but didn’t work, him kicking Freddy out of the main system and Mimic spying on Gregory through the caution bots/Patpats.
I’ve also talked about Mimic is the one scattered the retro cds for Gregory to find and him waiting in the fake Michael’s living room for Gregory to come see him because Mimic wants to get to know him better.
And from what you guess on the title, I want to tell about Mimic’s story before SB and in the middle of SB but let’s talk about this first.
Tumblr media
Specifically the language. In TFTP The Mimic, a young kid named David and book!Mimic decides to make a hand sign language for Mimic to communicate
and when their father wrote in of what the language looks like…it looks like the image that I just showed you. Hopefully! I dunno, I never read TFTP but from what people said, the writing is very similar to the wall code.
Since I said that Mimic’s backstory isn’t canon how does this work? Well I said Vanny could’ve created Mimic and she is very smart, Vanny could be also the one created that hand sign language for game!Mimic to communicate better. But why?
Because in Ruin, you reach closer to the underground, Grimic’s voice sounds less human and more of a bunch of words that stuck together and when Cassie meets the real Mimic, he doesn’t speak (other than “I’m Gregory”) so that’s why Vanny created that language and in the notes you can read that was talking to someone. Like this
Tumblr media
Now, was Mimic got put in the endo warehouse?
Maybe. Maybe, after Vanny realized that Mimic is its own being, she putted him in the warehouse with the other endos and from their walk/run cycles, it looks like they have a mimicking feature of their own…that they able to copy the Glamrocks’ AI and the wall/door to teach them. My proof that Mimic was there.
Tumblr media
This would make sense, in a way that Vanny is trying to make Mimic just like Glitchtrap.
So I said in the beginning, that Mimic’s run cycle is very slow and he doesn’t copy the Glamrocks’ or Gregory’s.
So maybe Mimic is a slow learner when he was in the warehouse and from the post it notes, his writing is progressing to be a more steady one. So he just needs to take his time on learning how and what is surrounds him and that causes him to be a slow learner (autistic robot real).
Vanny notices this and decides to move Mimic down to Staffbot silo so the employees won’t get suspicious about Mimic and to learn at his own pace and give a lifetime supply of post it notes to Mimic.
From the look of the room, Mimic has been in the Staffbot silo for a while and he has of a more developed mind but he is still a child, he just wants to be grown up.
Tumblr media
Connecting Caution bots
While Mimic have been staying in the Staffbot silo, employees starting to get a little too close to the truth then Vanny kills them, with her recent action being the message “All staff meeting”. That also happened to Glamrock Bonnie.
He must’ve trying to investigate about all the strange stuff that happened like the disappearances of children and the staff. The question is who Vanny used to kill Bonnie? Was it actually Monty? Roxy? Prototype Freddy? Or Mimic. If Mimic killed Bonnie, he either gotten pressured or told to just “decommission” Bonnie by Vanny. In the end, Mimic able to connect to the Patpats or he already did get connected and they’ve decommissioned Bonnie because he got to close to the truth.
Which I wanna say that the reason why, Bonnie’s eyes stopped glowing when you deactivate the Patpats is because Mimic must’ve felt guilty about killing him and decided to connect Bonnie with the Patpats too.
The start of SB
Mimic saw Gregory at his stay in the Pizzaplex through the Patpats. Mimic watched Gregory a few times when he’s trying to be in shelter, Gregory must’ve been staying in the Pizzaplex for at least two days that Mimic gets curious about him and his behavior.
Sadly, that has to end when Gregory gets caught by Vanny or Vanessa BUT Mimic has a plan, he wants to help Gregory get out of this mess then Freddy had an error moment when he saw Gregory and Vanny/Vanessa in the crowd but then he had full shut down because something kicked him out of the main system. Mimic kicked him out. That distracted Vanny/Vanessa that Gregory able to get out of their grasp.
Mimic wants to know Gregory more so he can’t just leave then he knows how to make Gregory stay little longer. Make a scavenger hunt! That’ll keep him busy. Mimic leaves the Staffbot silo but when he got out, he crashed into a bunch of boxes
Tumblr media
He tried to put boxes in its place but he doesn’t have the time do this right now. Mimic searching for something to use in the scavenger hunt.
Now the retro cds can only be found by using Roxy’s eyes and since the Glamrocks and Mimic is connected to the AR system, Mimic could have found a bunch of data that’s complied into a cd and somehow Roxy’s eyes can make it into a reality.
Mimic found the retro cds through the AR world and scattered all of them in the Pizzaplex for Gregory to find.
Fake SL living room
Mimic is staying in the fake SL living room while Gregory’s doing his 6 hour adventure. He’s been watching Gregory in security cams and Patpats through the TV. Why did I said he watching Gregory through the TV?
Tumblr media
Because in ruin, we can see a security footage of Gregory and Vanny so there’s a possibility that Mimic can see Gregory like this too.
Now does Mimic just sit and wait for Gregory to come and that’s it? No. I’m sure, Mimic helped Gregory along with Freddy but how?
The messages
Throughout the game, you can collect messages in the shape of a duffel bag that can help you or for lore reasons. So how Mimic can send the messages despite that in game, you’re collecting them yourself? Simple, that’s just a game mechanic.
In one of Freddy’s unused dialogues, he mentioned about one of the messages on how to get to the catwalks. So in game, you have to collect the messages but in story, Gregory got messages at random times but in certain places. And there’s this one place where you get the “PQ 1 maint” message. The first message that Gregory founds out about PQ
Tumblr media
The same place where you can find Bonnie in Ruin (I’m on the 10 images limit but you know what I mean).
If Mimic send all of those messages to Gregory then why he sent the message about PQ despite the arcade machine could free Vanessa.
Maybe the Bonnie and all Staff meeting incident made Mimic realize something that what Vanny’s doing isn’t good or normal. Maybe he wants to free Vanny because he knew something was wrong and the only way to do that is playing PQ but it didn’t exactly work…
(I think the “HI DAVE” and “Better Employees” message was a message misread speedrun send accident or Mimic thinks it would be funny)
A challenge message
Back to fake SL living room, there’s this message behind the TV and I said that the language was created by Vanny so ONLY Vanny and Mimic knows about this language but what if i told you Mimic1/Glitchtrap also knows about it.
When you think about the translation of the message, it sounds like a taunt, a challenge.
Taken from the quote
“Break and mend, i built the breath. They hunt now, drawn to life. Not real, still keen. And frit and fraught with thought and zest and gest no blunt woes. Dodge, duck, flash, shoot, crawl, run, crash the vile band. Cry not, try not, do not hold out hope, no. Your life, your aim will save those with soul.”
“I built the breath. They hunt now”
That would make sense for Glitchtrap because he built the virus and Vanny put that into the Glamrocks causing them to be aggressive. Obviously, this message is for Gregory but it’s not message…it’s a challenge. A challenge for Gregory. Glitchtrap is taunting him to fight through the night and destroy the Glamrocks which Gregory did just that.
But how Glitchtrap able write that challenge despite he doesn’t have a physical body? Mimic also got affected by the virus in which cause Glitchtrap to control him and wrote that message. So here’s what happened
Mimic was helping and watching Gregory through the TV then he got glitched and errors, he dropped his popcorn (yes, I think Mimic was the one who carried two popcorns and eating it) Glitchtrap took control and wrote that code then he leaves and Vanny founds him.
Vanny hides Mimic to somewhere below the Staffbot silo and that place is Freddy Fazbear’s pizza place, that’s where Mimic’s story ends and y’know how it goes next,
Gregory and Freddy goes to Fazer Blast and Vanny disassemble Freddy, Gregory plays PQ 3 and freed Vanessa and which also “freed” Vanny and they eat ice cream together with Freddy being a head and Mimic saw that and he’s all sad, the 3 star fam are gone for awhile then they came back with Vanny created MXES and modified the AR world.
Now here is the interesting part
A story about a Mother and a Son
I’ll tell you one thing…there is not a single mother and son duo in the FNAF franchise. So either the mother and son is most likely a metaphor or it’s about Vanny and Mimic.
“Now i will tell you a story about a Mother and a little boy who lived alone in a cabin in the dark woods”
Vanny and Mimic lived in the Pizzaplex which they hide in dark places and the animatronics there seems aggressive.
“There was a monster in the woods but the Mother caught it and kept it locked in the basement”
The monster is Glitchtrap. Tape girl and Vanessa tries to trap Glitchtrap in different ways but the one thing about tape girl, that she had the option to delete her audio logs that was used as Glitchtrap’s hiding spot but she never deleted them…
“The monster always made scary noises at night. But the Mother would tell the boy not to worry because it could never get out. Then she would sing the boy a lullaby to sleep.”
The virus affected Glamrocks is seen killing their targets through the Patpats, Mimic asked Vanny about the disappearances but she told him not to worry/gaslighting him to not think about it.
“One day, the monster stopped growling. Instead, listened and learned the lullaby.”
Glitchtrap watched Mimic and learned the language that Mimic communicates with and used it to write the message.
“The next day when the Mother went out to find food, the monster sang the lullaby from the basement. The little boy heard the lullaby and opened the door…”
When Vanny got “freed”. The 3 star fam came back to the pizzaplex and put MXES in the underground.
MXES who is oddly similar to Glitchtrap is now the monster luring Mimic to the underground and trapped him there.
But wait…
Did MXES lured Mimic?
From most people’s theories, Gregory lured Mimic there because Mimic wants to meet Gregory. But what if Mimic’s messages to Cassie IS true.
In his first dialogues to Cassie, that SOMETHING grabbed him and he’s under the raceway and when MXES first appeared, Mimic told Cassie to “stay away from that thing”.
Then when Cassie talks to Mimic in the Monty gondolas maintenance room, Mimic said this
“I’ll explain it all when you get here. That thing is back! I gotta hide!”
It’s the fact that Mimic sounds very genuine when he’ll explain about how he can see what Cassie’s doing and he called someone “that thing”.
Was he referring to himself or to MXES because it would make sense that MXES is physically near Mimic.
Now, the very last thing to talk about
The elevator ending
In the chase scene, Mimic kept trying to run to Cassie. Maybe the reason why Mimic knocked Cassie out of consciousness was because he was desperate to have company especially when Gregory said that he’s been trapped for really long time.
Then if Mimic cut the elevator (as in destroyed the conduit) either he didn’t think that the elevator would fall or he’s so desperate that he’ll let Cassie get hurt on the way down…but I think I’ll choose that first one.
Conclusion?
Mimic is so tragic actually…same thing with book!Mimic. Anyways

Hiya Ram!! I really wanna hear about Monty and Anon’s backstory allot more.. kinda like how Anon got the job and started it all out. Mostly because we don’t get much backstory, not trying to seem ungrateful about your posts n such (they keep me goin fr) and I’m really sorry for asking, but I’m just curious. 💟 💕 (also thanks for listening to what I have to say on discord **ALLOT** ,appreciate that)
letters-numbers 💟
Don't be sorry! People don't really ask about it so I haven't really talked about it! :0!
The story I have had in mind goes kinda like this.
Handler positions alongside a load of other peotoions were all posted online. Just needed some light machine knowledge for the Handler potions, they'd teach you eveyething you needed to know there.
The Anon is hired on before opening. They were hired specifically for a Handler position. They knew it was going to be a lesser bot, but still a big one, but didn't know who when they were hired.
All the Handlers had a number of different meetings and classes so they knew how to interact with the endos and how to avoid dying to an avoidable injury. Lots of "don't stick your arm here. You'll lose it." Lots of classes learning where the safety switches were at an such. How to properly maintain them. Stuff like that.
By the time the Handlers meet the endos fully, they have their personalities loaded and they know how to interact with people. But they're all a little shy since they don't know their Handlers. Some get along immediately, and some don't. In the case of Anon and Monty, they didn't.
Monty was incredibly sassy. A little too sassy, and they weren't expecting it. He had a lot of learning to do. He was a little too mean to the test guests, and Anon had a lot of work to do.
They added flirty to his personality matrix to balance out his sass. Which resulted in Anon having to teach him which jokes were appropriate for guests depending on age. An how to read their guest profiles to know who's okay with what jokes, and how to alter their profile to update which jokes are okay.
Monty never really hit on them because they always brushed off his jokes of the flirting nature.
When his sass started getting too bad again, they absolutely RIPPED into him, and he chilled out so fast. Realizing he was our of line. Which was when they starting communicating better and became better friends.
Their relationship in the beginning was strictly tense coworkers. But once they figured one another out, they became friends, then later good friends.

There will be some spoilers in this post
As I think there's a good chance we're getting close to the end of the current arc*, here are some of my hopes for what we get in the gap between this and the next big arc. I get that some people get impatient with the gap chapters, but I personally have enjoyed a lot of them over the course of the series
-At least a little bit of Anya and Becky's zoo trip - I could see this being a mini chapter or special illustration as Endo likely needs a short break after this arc
-A chapter or two to follow up with events from the current arc. Perhaps Yuri pops over to see if Loid is wounded like Twilight is, or maybe he checks Dominic instead as he's another person that is close to him that likely doesn't have an alibi like Loid does. Perhaps we could get a chapter where Loid has to try to hide his wounds from Yor while she tries to make up with him after the argued they had at the beginning of this arc
-A Franky chapter as I feel like it's been a minute since he last got one
-A Bond chapter, but I think we'll have to wait till the next gap because he showed up in the last Sylvia chapter. I'm always happy to get more Bond chapters
-More Chloe, either on her own or with another character like Yuri. I could also see us having to wait till the next arc for this since she was just barely introduced
-I want to see if Yor and Melinda's friendship is progressing at all - I kind of wonder if Yor may have gotten a weird vibe off of Melinda in the bus hijacking arc and if that may have put a damper on the friendship. Then again, she may have been too focused on reuniting with Anya to notice
-A reward for Anya for getting her second stella - I suppose this could also be a mini chapter
-A day in the life of any prominent character that hasn't gotten one yet, like WISE rookie or the older gentleman spy (man of a thousand fan nicknames)
-A chapter where we see a prominent/important character interacting with another prominent character for the first time - think McMahon and Anya or Loid, or perhaps Franky and Sylvia
Anyways, those are just some of my hopes for the next gap between chapters - feel free to post your own!
As an aside, I'm hoping the next big arc is going to give us more of Yor's backstory. I read in a recent post on here that it sounds like Endo made a point of releasing Loid's backstory in the manga during season one of the anime, so I think there's a chance that he'll give us Yor's backstory in the manga as the cruise arc gets animated.
*Now watch me be very wrong about how close we are to the end of this arc as it runs on for a couple more months

Wanted to ask you if Anya’s powers are really a part of the war intrigue in SF? We know she’s experimented on but are we sure that’s related to war against Westalis? Thanks
Hey Anon! Well, anything is possible at this point but considering the very first chapter of the series...
Tumblr media Tumblr media
...we know Anya has been experimented on as part of a "world peace" (read: war) project, so I'd say it's very likely her backstory and powers are incredibly relevant to the war between Ostania and Westalis.
That being said, we don't know who these scientists are. Were they working for Ostania or Westalis or yet another country? We do not know and I still think it's way too early to diss on either country, since it's likely both have had a role to play in this war (both Twilight and Yor as well as Yuri are war orphans because of the others' country to begin with).
So I think discovering about Anya's powers is key to the main plot and it indeed probably has to do with Twilight's mission of infiltrating Donovan's (the far right political party's head) circle and, who knows, maybe with Garden's agenda as well (I mean, Yor is super strong: it could be the result of training or of some military experiments for all we know, especially since Garden's already a shady organization as it is).
Only time will tell but, since Anya's the only omniscient character but also a kid who's been abandoned many times (it's currently played for laughs but it's actually sad af), ultimately the story calls for Twilight and Yor to realize how much she's been through and that she needs and deserves a good functioning family to help her grow. That sounds more like the subplot of the final arc of the series to me but Endo-sensei might still surprise us!
I hope it answers your question, have a good weekend!

ENDO BACKSTORY:
Endo was born and raised in Japan, moving to the city he lives in now after turning ten after his grandfather passed and left a Self Defence training school in his hands. Endo took charge of said school, and ran it with Cinder when he turned 14 as he was not yet old enough to own it himself. Shortly after he was 17 and given full ownership of the small school withint he town, he got involved in an incident that would change the course of his life.
Endo was exposed to a concentrated solution of nitroglycerin, a highly unstable and explosive liquid. Despite the solution mixing into the water within his body, he didnt go through with getting properly helped, soon gaining the ability to generate and control fire and smoke at just the age of 18, once he hit 20 he learned explosions and lava as well.
Endo quickly realized that he had the power to generate and control these elements, and he struggled to control his abilities. With his arrogant and hot- blooded nature, his abilities often ran wild, causing chaos and destruction wherever he went. However, he slowly learned to harness his powers and use them for good, becoming a powerful Vanguard in his world.
It's an even more impressive considering he's only over 20 years old with so much time and means to improve, and yet he's already rubbing shoulders with the top Champions.
Concept: The world-build that Endo lives in is akin to a stereotypical Hero/Villain concept. Terms were changed overtime to try and balance out the cliche view on those within.
CINDER
TEACHER, BUSINESS PARTNERS, CHILDHOOD FRIENDS.
Within the growing lore of the world dynamic and their overall relationship, Cinder met Endo shortly after his 'awakening' arc. A arc inwhich Cinder escaped from a coma-induced tomb within a lava rock after his own lore took place. After this awakening, Cinder and Endo met in highschool, Cinder being a few years older than Endo. It was here Endo explained to Cinder that, considering he is not yet old enough to own his business, yet he is old enough to work, he is offering the Self Defence school to Cinder to run until he is. This helped grow their connection as they grew, as when Endo was old enough, Cinder had since graduated from CTC, and was in the process of purchasing the entire CTC school itself, making Endo's school a small sister location for those not yet prepared for the hardcore training the CTC provides. As you can guess, their bond is extremely strong, and due to the events explained here, Endo was offered a spot in the CTC, which he passed with flying scores and, despite also being offered to be a Champion, he currently is a Vanguard while still teaching in his own school.
CTC: Champion Training Course is a course inwhich people who have abilities go to train to help better understand and expand them, know how to properly use them, but also to start training to be next in line for a Vanguard or Champion title. However if they do not meet the criteria needed to show they are responsible or confident in their training, they will instead leave the course and will return back to their life before the course with just a better grip on their abilities. This course offers free service to those who often are just curious to what they behold
THEN TO EXPLAIN THE CHAMPION / VANGUARD THING ITS THAT CHAMPIONS ARE PRO HEROS, VANGUARDS ARE JUST HEROS THAT NORMALLY GET CALLED WHILE THE PROS DEAL WITH THE BIGGER ISSUES
BC IN THIS WORLD IF U ARENT TRAINED U CANNOT BE HERO
BUT OFC THERES STILL OTHER MINOR PPL. LIKE I HAVE A GUY WHO IS IN THIS WORLD TOO WHO IS A CRYPTIC HUNTER AND THE ONLY POWERS HE HOLDS ARE WITCH LIKE POWERS LIKE THE WHOLE CLICHE BREWING POT SHIT
THEN OFC A CRYPTIC FOR THE CRYPTIC HUNTER!!! I HAVE MORE TOO
ITS ALSO SUPPOSED TO BE A SLICE OF LIFE STORY

Hello !
I Just read in the manga à scene where Loid was checking anya ´s marks and hé noticed that she did pretty well in old language, and then Twilight was like « does that mean she ´s from …? » « whatever it does not change anything for thé mission » (sorry I don’t know the exact word in the english translation, I read in French)
What are your thoughts about anya’s origins? I thought like she comes from Westalis?
Thanks a million for your great job, I love it !
Hi, thanks for the Ask! (and I'm glad you enjoy my content!)
Yeah, we can only speculate about what that part means. All we know about Anya is that she came from a lab before eventually ending up in an orphanage, but is there any correlation between living in a lab and knowing classic languages? We also have to keep in mind that Anya's only been alive for, like, 4-5 years before the start of the series, so very little time for her to have a lengthy backstory (plus the fact that she probably has few memories of when she was really young, like 1-2 years old, so that leaves even less time for her to learn anything, much less languages!)
Some theorize that she could possibly have origins in royalty, hence her knowledge of older languages. But kids don't really know how to speak adequately until they're around the age Anya is now, or at the earliest a year or so younger, but my impression was that Anya was with the scientists at that time before she ended up in the orphanage. So the amount of time in her short life that would be needed to gain knowledge, even on language in general, is limited.
Ultimately, it's hard to theorize about Anya's origins with the lack of information currently available. But I have a feeling Endo will give us more chapters about it eventually!

I need to vent to yall rq
BIG TW
Tumblr media
(Cropping the user. Don’t go hunting for this person and don’t send them harassment, I’m just using this screenshot as an example. many people have said this)
Maybe, think about this, people have this thing called a backstory. And not every anti-endo is gonna be like “erm actually they hurt my feewings🥺”
I have trauma caused by endos. I’m not even anti-endo but I LOVE anti-endo spaces because they make me feel fucking SAFE. If I vent to an endo about the trauma endos have caused me, the most I’ll get is an ‘erm not all of us are like that…’
Tumblr media
Or I’ll get some shit like this. “Where are these systems” maybe I don’t wanna fucking know!! Also trust me endos exist outside of tumblr and discord, not all drama happens online. I’ve met endos irl which I never wanna meet again.
I have friends who have trauma caused by endos. They’ve told me stories of how they got sent gore, rape, etc. Anti-endo spaces make them feel safe.
Also when I interact with anti-endo-safe-spaces, it’s not even about endos. It’s just about life and I don’t have to worry about what endos did to me happening again in that space.
I don’t hate endos. I’m cautious of them.

I saw someone asking on reddit if the story will get darker in Spy x Family.
I’m like, what do you mean? Endo hasn’t even gotten into Anya’s backstory yet. We don’t think it’s that dark because Anya exists, but Anya will be the one who will break us all.
Experiments are performed on children who are too young to even know what consent is. These experiments don’t feel that dark yet because Anya and Bond are not reminding you how much they suffered every single episode. They are just happy they found a family. Why? They can’t. They are not able to grasp how terrible what happened to them, because Anya is a young child and Bond is a dog.
Test subjects and experiment results are just numbers until you realise they could have had a life. They might love peanuts and hate carrots. They like ootings and hit amazing home runs. And they could have died for nothing but the greed and arrogance of whoever behind the projects.
We don’t need another terrorist attack to prove how dark the story can go. We just need to wait for the ticking bomb which is placed there from the very start of the story to explode.

Here are some of my thoughts on Ruin gameplay wise:
Ruin isn't that great from a gameplay perspective.
I do like that Steel Wool took a lot of criticism to heart and they improved Ruin in the Story department way more comparitively to the base game ten fold.
Like imagine having a Rabbit antagonist show up more than twice and is a constant presence throughout the game???? Imagine a protagonist with actual motivation and backstory to why they are there with relatable emotions?
I'm sure Vanny is sure jealous of MXES right about now. (Gregory to Cassie too probably and that's how the game ended how it did but that's another post)
But here's the thing that really soured me on Ruin. Especially on repeat playthroughs, and it was something I was easily discovering as I played through the first time.
There's really no creditable danger in the majority of Ruin.
The atmosphere is darker, and it is spookier.... But it is all literally in your head. The danger and horror is all an illusion.
Mr.Glitchy Malhare man can't harm you directly. He can only summon animatronics after you, or send an animatronic to kill you automatically if you stay too long in AR. Which you tend to recognize the sound ques and can easily get out of situations if you're trapped in AR.
The thing about MXES summoning animatronics to you....
All the animatronics AI from the Base game has been severely nerfed.
Monty can no longer jump and you can out walk him fairly easily. YEAH. WALK. I had never had to run from Monty. He'll despawn if he loses sight of you.
Roxy and Chica behave in a similar functional way.
Chica is faster, and gets distracted less easily if you have her chasing you. And her tight corridors prevent her from despawning but she can easily be out walked.
Sun and Moon won't even chase you and have to go out of the way to see the jumpscare.
You can become invisible to the endos.
And you don't need to run into Roxy as an enemy if you don't want and just use the very obvious intended camera speaker mechanic.
All the animatronics move slower than your base walking speed so I never found them that credible a threat and tended to get bored by them.
The tedium of the puzzles didn't help ease that boredom that much.
The only times of this game that felt genuinely horrifying to play were the Bonnie bowl section and the Freddy chase.
Freddy moves faster than your base running speed and he WILL get you a few times if you don't know what you're doing. It was one of the most horrifying experiences in the game for me.
I know horror is subjective. But once I learned quick that MXES couldn't hurt me, and all the animatronics AI was dumbed down to extremely basic.... I found everything an annoyance rather then a threat.
Not only that, Cassie mechanically is not fun to play. (CHARACTER WISE I LOVE HER but for another post)
She runs slower then Gregory and jumping around and running just isn't as fun. I suppose it makes sense. Gregory is dodgy cus he lives on the streets. Cassie just came home from eating carrot cake.
I have replayed the base Security Breach over five times because it's so fun to play. And yes. I typically play the game straight without many crazy glitches.
Ruin, I have only played twice and I got sick of it. The animatronics aren't fun to run from if they all function the same.
I did like it when MXES was approaching as I was solving puzzles. It lead to some genuinely tense moments.
Steel Wool is so close to making the perfect FNAF game.
I REALLY think that the animatronics needed some more AI tweaking or just copy how their shattered AI worked in base game.
I'm kinda glad that the game wasn't TOO hard. But it lead to a lot of situations where I was just casually walking away from the animatronics and it wore off it's novelty in repeat playthroughs.
Meanwhile I can play Security Breach for weeks and never get bored.
Reminder, this is just my opinion, and I'm just talking about the game mechanically.
Story wise, it's definitely an improvement and I did enjoy it alot and I will talk more in depth on that later

Some shows I've been clearing off my list this week:
Endo and Kobayashi Live! The Latest on Tsundere Villainess Lieselotte: A couple of high schoolers find themselves able to talk to the characters in a love sim game and try to save the doomed villainess' life. I'm glad there are more shows with a more humanizing focus on the typical love sim rival. Bit slow-paced, with at least two lead couples and worlds to juggle, but the characters were on the whole okay and I did cry during the ending. Also has Sugita Tomokazu using his more boring, generic-ass voice, but there was couple of times his voice broke out of that.
Tumblr media
Buddy Daddies: A pair of assassins adopt the illegitimate daughter of one of their targets. An action comedy with a jazzy soundtrack and a cute kid, of course it's going to get compared to Spy x Family. The theme is found family; as they care for this kid, the two guys learn that they can change and have the familiar bonds they didn't grow up with before. I like the action and the comedy of this show. It took a couple of episodes for me to warm up to the kid, though.
Tumblr media
Raven of the Inner Palace: Based on a Japanese light novel series, a mysterious consort in Chinese historical fantasy land solves strange happenings and puts souls to rest. There's ghosts, zombies, tragic backstories, and a slow burn romance; the season ends with the consort and the emperor as good friends and the real mystery still unanswered. Can the Raven Consort escape her fate? It was very pretty and the 'monster of the week' style stories were engaging.
Tumblr media
Bucchigire! (Shine on! Bakumatsu Bad Boys): After the leaders of the Shinsengumi were slaughtered by soul-stealing occultists, seven criminals are conscripted to take their places. The characters are color-coded in a kids' show sort of way, and the animation has a overlay that gives it an old storybook paper feel. I got too bored to finish it (without the pressure of crossing this off the list), but I did like the Hijikata and Okita replacements, Sakuya and Akira respectively, and the show's take on Katsura Kotaro Kogoro. (Right up until Akira and Katsura kissed....)
Tumblr media
Revenger: A group of assassins do the Lord's work by taking revenge for others. I watched the last episode first (complete coincidence, it was airing at the time), and it told me all I needed to know. It's similar to Bucchigire!, a bunch of guys having a murder adventure during the Edo period, but this one has all the things I wished the other had. (Most specifically, deeper pathos, more interesting plots, and less comic relief team members.) I cannot promise that I won't think about a Gintama/Revenger au, what with the light-haired leader of the odd-jobs revenge shop....
