I have had a rough couple of days and for a big part I did not (re)act the way I would have if I had been truly connected to myself. And by that I have caused more damage. The worst thing I can do now is beat myself up about it though, even it is pretty tempting... . Sometimes we f*** up. Because we are human. Learning to forgive others starts by forgiving ourselves . So today, I forgive myself for being impatient. I forgive myself for acting on impulse and not being grounded enough to prevent the hurt I am causing myself and others. I forgive myself for not always taking care of myself enough. I forgive myself for sometimes not being able to acknowledge others' suffering because I am too endorsed in my own.
