Here are 10 tips for selecting wedding photography that you can live with throughout your new life together. Are you looking Wedding Photographers in Houston, TX?
A reputable wedding photographer should have a physical location. A physical location where you can find them when you need them and where you can meet with them safely is important. Brick and mortar wedding photography studios build trust within the community and with their clients. Price is NOT the most important factor when choosing a wedding photographer: You definitely get what you pay for. Photography is like anything else in life: You get what you pay for. It is not logical to think you can hire someone for little to no money and get the same results you would get if you had spent twice what you paid. Price is normally a factor when it comes to quality. Photographers who charge more are usually backed by their reputation, their brand, and their experience. You should also understand that your photographs will become the lasting memory of your wedding day. There are two things you should spend money on for your wedding, it should be your venue and your photography. People will probably not remember the food, you will only wear your dress once, and most of the other things are not huge investments anyway (flowers, music, makeup). You will look at your wedding photographs regularly - perhaps even every day - for the rest of your life. Shouldn't your wedding photos be great?
Your wedding photography studio should be insured and licensed as a legal business. Many venues actually require insurance from vendors working there. Camera equipment is expensive and you should make sure your photographer is fully insured by a reputable insurance company to make sure you are protected. Many photographers are just individuals with cameras and maybe a slick website. Make sure your photographer is backed by a legal, legitimate business.
Your wedding photographer should have backup equipment and a backup plan. Mandatory: Cameras with two slots for memory cards that can be written to simultaneously in case one card fails, backup cameras and lenses, a data backup plan including offsite backups, and a disaster plan. Protect your investment. If your photographer only has one camera, it's not enough.
Multiple photographers with your package are much better for you than having just one. Your wedding photographer should have multiple photographers on staff in case someone get sick or God forbid injured. A lone photographer cannot be in enough places at once to possibly cover a wedding day adequately. For all but the smallest weddings, your wedding photographer should have at a minimum a photographer and assistant/second shooter. Anything less and you will be missing out on important moments, angles, and opportunities.
Your wedding photographer should NOT dump a disc of photos on you and disappear after the wedding day. Some photographers will sell you a disc of high resolution photos, give them to you, and that's it. Your wedding photographer should provide value-add services and products after your wedding day - for example, photo books or albums, photo prints, and wall art. Other services you should look for are in-studio viewings and selection, retouching and editing services, and gift options. A photographer that shoots photos for a disc is going to give you a result that is a completely different set of photos than a photographer who is shooting with an album in mind or to create artwork. You are going to get a much better selection of photos from a photographer focused on artwork and an heirloom album than one who is going to shoot-andburn a disc for you and call it a day. Will you really want to spend time and money designing your own album? Probably not. Make sure your photographer provides you with personal usage rights for the images, but you do not need raw files or ultra high resolution photos if your wedding photographer designs for you an amazing photo album, gives you a disc of JPG digital negatives, and offers print, artwork, and design options after the wedding. Consider what you really need and talk to your photographer about what they provide.
If you choose a wedding photographer who you get along with, whose portfolio or example photographs you enjoy, who offers products you want, and whom you feel you can trust, your wedding photography experience should be a positive one.
Photography is one of the most important decisions you will make for your wedding, and you owe it to yourself and your future legacy to invest in selecting a good wedding photographer instead of just the cheapest photographer you can find.

Banda Devassa - Rio de Janeiro. (Cultura, Esporte e Lazer). "DEISE CIPRIANO" (1979-2019). "Fat Family" é um conjunto musical brasileiro, original da cidade de Sorocaba, São Paulo, formado inicialmente pelos irmãos Sidney, Celinho, Celinha, Simone, Suzetti, Kátia e "Deise Cipriano". Suely (ex-enfermeira padrão) entrou no grupo a partir do segundo álbum da banda, no ano de 1999. Inspirados por cantores norte-americanos como "Whitney Houston", "Chaka Khan", "Aretha Franklin" e "James Brown", assim como pela tradicional música gospel negra estadunidense, o grupo atraiu notoriedade rapidamente no Brasil e no mundo. HISTÓRIA... O grupo "Fat Family" atraiu a atenção do Brasil no final da década de 90, mais precisamente em 1998. Em programas de televisão os "irmãos de peso" integrantes do grupo (fato que dá nome a banda), começaram a se apresentar inspirados em grupos vocais norte-americanos do estilo gospel. O grupo também ficou conhecido pela sua "coreografia do pescoço", que todos os fãs tentavam imitar, mas o julgavam difícil. Além do integrante "Celinho" ensinar para o público como se fazia o pescoço em vários programas. Mas vozes sincronizadas, agudas e graves com bastante nitidez, é o que mais se destacava. O PRIMEIRO "CD"... O primeiro sucesso do grupo foi "Jeito Sexy" (versão de "Shy Guy" de Diana King), canção do primeiro álbum, Fat Family, lançado em 1998. Álbum este, que sozinho vendeu cerca de 250 mil cópias. CD este que também tem a regravação de "Killing Me Softly with His Song", gravado originalmente pela cantora estadunidense "Roberta Flack". No primeiro CD auto intitulado, o Fat Family emplacou vários sucessos além da canção "Jeito Sexy". Em 1998, a canção "Onde Foi Que Eu Errei?", foi o tema da personagem da atriz "Cláudia Jimenez" na novela "Torre de Babel", da Rede Globo. No Natal daquele mesmo ano, o grupo fez uma participação especial no seriado "Sai de Baixo", onde cantaram a música "Noite Feliz". O grupo também costumava participar de programas de auditório como o "Planeta Xuxa" e o "Domingão do Faustão". O SEGUNDO ÁLBUM... FAT FESTA... Em 1999 foi a vez da canção "Gulosa" que foi o tema de abertura da novela "Andando nas Nuvens", também da Rede Globo. No mesmo ano o grupo recebeu a mais nova integrante, "Suely", formando assim um (octeto), lançaram o segundo CD, intitulado "Fat Festa". Os sucessos deste álbum ficaram por conta das canções "Eu Não Vou", "Madrugada", "Fat Family" (versão de We Are Family, composta por Nile Rodgers para o grupo Sister Sledge) e a regravação a capela de "Oh Happy Day". No fim do ano foi a vez do grupo estrear nas telonas juntamente com a apresentadora "Xuxa Meneghel" no filme dela, chamado "Xuxa Requebra". No filme, eles interpretaram os "Fat Capanagas", que foram contratados pela personagem de "Elke Maravilha", que era a antagonista. No final do filme, o grupo cantou a canção "Chegou a Festa", faixa pertencente ao novo CD. Com roupas brancas e posicionados como um coral, foram regidos pela mãe deles, "Nelita Cipriano". PRA ONDE FOR... ME LEVE... Em 2001, o grupo lançou o terceiro álbum pela gravadora EMI Music, intitulado "Pra Onde For, Me Leve". A regravação da faixa "Fim de Tarde", que foi o grande sucesso da cantora "Cláudia Telles", também obteve êxito nas rádios. Outros singles foram: "Pra Onde For, Me Leve", "Sem Parar", "Noite de Setembro" (versão de September de Earth, Wind and Fire), e "Pudera", gravado primeiramente por "Tim Maia". Este foi o último trabalho do grupo pela gravadora EMI. O grupo participava com frequência dos programas "Eliana", "Programa Raul Gil", "Planeta Xuxa", e "Hebe". QUARTO "CD" E MUDANÇAS DE ESTILO... Em 2003, o grupo lançou o quarto CD, intitulado Fat Family, pela gravadora Sum Records. Este álbum do grupo trouxe uma grande variedade de estilos, entre eles o MPB e o Gospel. O álbum inteiro foi feito de regravações de grandes sucessos nacionais e internacionais. Entre eles estão: Lilás, de Djavan, Amor de Índio, de Milton Nascimento, Força Estranha de Caetano Veloso. As regravações gospel foram: "Joyful, Joyful" (gravada originalmente para o filme "Mudança de Hábito 2"), Poor Pilgrim of Sorrow, O Homem de Nazareth e Deus é o Amor, essa em especial, recebeu também uma versão remixada no mesmo álbum. CONVERSÃO... O "Fat Family" (se converteu ao Evangelicalismo em 2003), na sua própria casa por intermédio de "Deise", (a irmã caçula). Por onde o grupo passou, em igrejas evangélicas de todo o Brasil, Deise contava como foi a conversão de sua família, sendo ela a primeira. Ela contou que foi em um culto na casa do lutador de vale-tudo, "Vitor Belfort", amigo da família. Lá ela se converteu, e logo depois os outros membros da família também se converteram. CIRURGIAS DE REDUÇÃO DO ESTÔMAGO... Em 1º de fevereiro de 2005, os integrantes "Celinho", "Suzetti" e "Kátia" se submeteram à cirurgia de redução do estômago. Eles eliminaram juntos (177 kg). Em 2007, a integrante "Simone", também se submeteu a cirurgia feita pelos "irmãos Sônia" (empresária do grupo e irmã, que fez a cirurgia em 2004), "Celinho, Suzetti e Kátia". SAÍDAS DO GRUPO E CARREIRA SOLO... Partindo para carreira solo no gênero gospel, deixaram o grupo em 2006: "Sidney Cipriano", que adotou o nome artístico de "Sidney Sinay" e "Celinha Batista". Sidney gravou um CD gospel em 2007, intitulado "Sidney Sinay": (Um Novo Homem). Celinha Batista já tem três CDs gravados, são eles: "Tua Palavra" (2011), "Um Novo Tempo" (2013) e "Teu Espírito" (2015). Atualmente, usa o nome "Célia Soul". Suely Cipriano deixou o Fat Family em 2016, mas não seguiu carreira solo. MORTE DE "SIDNEY CIPRIANO"... Em "1º de fevereiro de 2011", (Sidney Cipriano) morreu, às 20h20, aos 46 anos de idade. Sidney estava internado desde o dia 07 de janeiro no Hospital Regional de Sorocaba (SP), vítima de um Acidente Vascular Cerebral. A causa da morte foi uma parada cardíaca. MORTE DE "DEISE CIPRIANO"... Na tarde do dia "12 de fevereiro de 2019", a cantora (Deise Cipriano) morreu aos 39 anos em decorrência de complicações de um câncer no fígado que ela descobrira em agosto de 2018. O RETORNO... O Fat Family ficou um tempo longe da grande mídia, mas nesse período trabalharam arduamente na carreira gospel, cantando em igrejas, festivais, congressos, casamentos, entre outros eventos. Participaram de vários CDs de cantores como "Pregador Luo" e "Daniel Ribeiro". Participaram também do DVD do "grupo Harmonia do Samba", cantando a canção "Apenas Um Toque". Em 2014, o grupo recebeu o convite do apresentador "Celso Portiolli" para participar do quadro Parece Que Foi Ontem. O grupo estreou o novo quadro do programa Domingo Legal. Em 2015, a integrante "Kátia" recebeu o convite da Rede Record para participar do reality show "Além do Peso", do programa "Hoje em Dia". Porém, deixou o programa na primeira semana, após descobrir que estava grávida de seu terceiro filho. Em 2016, com o contrato da WB Produções Artísticas, o grupo volta aos palcos, depois de longo período sem gravar. Fez várias participações em programas de TV como Altas Horas, Todo Seu, Legendários e Sabadão com Celso Portiolli. O grupo também se apresentou na Virada Cultural em São Paulo, no mesmo ano. Em 20 de Maio de 2016, o grupo lançou a nova canção de trabalho "Mexe Esse Pescoço Aí", cujo clipe teve participação do ator e cantor "Thiago Abravanel". A FAMÍLIA... A família Cipriano é formada pelos pais "Célio" e "Nelita Cipriano" e (seus 9 filhos): Sidney (falecido), Suely, Sônia, Celinho, Celinha, Simone, Suzetti, Kátia e Deise (falecida). Dos filhos, vieram os netos: Danyele e Danila (filhas do Sidney); Denner (filho da Suely); Célio Cipriano Neto "Celinzinho" (filho do Celinho); Anthony (filho da Suzetti); Daiana, Daniel e Jordan (filhos da Kátia), e Talita (filha da Deise). What is your typical day like?
My day typically starts around 5:30am and ends at various times. My husband and I have three children under the age of six, therefore my days start early. After breakfast is served and our children have been taken to school and/or daycare, my planner hat comes on (not that I actually ever take it off).
Though I have a business office located in the heart of Houston, the majority of my work is done from my home. I first start by checking emails and prioritizing a to-do list in order of importance. Next, I place phone calls to schedule any necessary appointments for new and existing clients, which may include venue visits, bridal dress fittings, vendor meetings, and menu tastings, just to name a few. I travel to my office if I need to onboard a client or if any other meetings need to take place there.
I also offer floral and design services so my time is also spent in the office doing design appointments with new and existing clients.
How did you get started in the industry?
I got started in the industry after being presented with the opportunity to plan a friend’s wedding. The wedding had a very small budget with around 150 guests. In addition to planning the wedding, I also did the floral, décor, and design. The feedback was amazing and the wedding was not at all reflective of the budget.
Afterward, I studied and became certified as a wedding planner. I also attended the Houston School of Flowers to gain more knowledge. Shortly after, Breathtaking Events was formed.

What inspires you?
My family is my biggest inspiration. They inspire me to continuously strive to be better. My hope is that my children will see my work ethic and will one day find passion in something that inspires them to work just as hard.
I am also easily inspired by love and all things beautiful. I love seeing the look on my clients’ faces when they walk into a finished ceremony or reception space that I’ve designed. Or, when a bride sees her bouquet for the first time.
I am also inspired by other professionals in the industry. Some of my favorite industry professionals are Lulu Alexander, Joy Proctor, Cece Todd, Eliana Baucicault and Jamie Kostechko. I had the pleasure of learning and spending time with these amazing ladies in New Orleans at the Inspire Design Workshop.
What are your favorite online resources for your business?
A few of my favorite online resources for business are Honeybook, All Seated, Timeline Genius, and of course The Planners Lounge.
Aside from wedding and event planning, how do you spend your time?
Aside from wedding and event planning, I like to spend time with family, shopping, and traveling! My favorite vacation spot is Costa Rica.
