An- wow ok so I'm a bit overwhelmed by the likes ngl, but thank you! I hope you all like my stories, I feel like I had a weird style of writing, idk I feel like mines a mess and others are like visually nice to read, so I'm trying to sharpen the edges as I can.

After your sorta short night if rest you got up and decided to make a cup of coffee, it was Odd for a woman your age to be single and live alone, but you didn't really mind
"BOOM BABY!!" You choke on your coffee and turn around, looking at the same group from the night before but this time Dustin is leading
"Hey you have a television?!" He walks in and goes into your living room, turning in the TV and seeing the News, watching it
"Nothing on eddie yet. Let's go do a food run?" He turns back around to look at you, a smile find his way up and as you look around everyone Is going through your stuff thinking about how old you probably where
"Uh...hello..." You put your coffee down, making your we to dustin taking the college graduation photo down
"You're comin with us right..." Dustin looks at you
"You like know the mind pretty well can you like figure out his weakness?!" He adds looking at your degrees
"yeah we like kinda need you, you're really smart maybe you can Do your thing on vecna!" max sarcastically tells you as she looks through your CDs
"Ok well if she's going Shes the new babysitter alright? No more me, Now let's go so we aren't late" Steve rolls his eyes and walks out.
"He's just cranky there's someone cooler than him" robin smiles putting your stuff down
"I think your home Is lovely by the way. I hope you slept well" nancy smiles and walks off to the car. Robin following. The kids take some effort. You make lucas get up from your couch and shoo off dustin. You see max looking at an old tape and you let her take it secretly so the others don't get mad.
"Wait so how old are you?" Lucas asks. Mac hitting his arm.
In the most confusing way you follow, leading the younger ones along first so they don't poke fun more.
As you all split cars you get the urge to ask a question
"Waiit who is eddie?" You look in the back watching the kids look at you in shock. Do a second they actually thought you've been here all along.
"He's our DM... Hes getting Framed for Murder by Vecna. We are trying to clear his name and Right now we are doing a food drop" dustin gets happy at the mear mention of this Eddie,
"What is a DM..." You say softy, looking at the rear mirror to Two shocked faces. When you looked at Steve hr just looked disappointed
"DUNGEON MASTER!! from D&D duh" lucas gets annoyed
"And whats D&D" now all heads are turned to you. The utter disappointment was harsh
"Wow....wow...why did Nancy trust you" Dustin just looks at his lap disappointed even more. The rest of the time everyone just Explained the game till you all arrived.
The cars stop at a local grocery store. , as you all get off you spread to find different snacks.
"Steve can you get me this..." Max looks over at a pack of gummies.
"No..." Is all he says as he looks more into canned foods for Eddie
You snatch the bag out of Maxs hand and add a few more sweats
"I'll get you it but. Shhhh your babysitter might disagree" you laugh a little adding them to your cart, max smiles and Lucas just laughs
"She's like our mother...you're just a babysitter Steve, she passing you up" Lucas laughs more, Steve turns around and snatches the candy out of the cart and adds it to his own
"I'll get them.." He walks off shopping more. The three of you break into a laugh.
Nancy and Robin are on their own getting first aid things and medicine.
"oh he asked for some beer" dustin looks at you, and then Steve
"I'll get it" steve says. He had some fake ID he would always use. That or steal some from someone's parents.
"Oh Fuck no... How old is this kid?!" You turn to look at all there faces. They all kinda look around avoiding your eyes
"He's like 20..." Max says awkwardly adding some water to steves cart.
"...y'all are protecting a 20 year old!" You whisper yell pulling them into a smaller isle
"Okok listen he goes to our school still so its okay! And he's super chill he's totally cool"
Dustin tried to defend him for 5 minutes before you just caved in. You all got everything you needed and back in the you went. This time you were in the back with Max and Nancy and robin were in the front. The girlie conversations about boys and Nancys Totally good relationship stopped when you pulled up to a house Full of cops. You see the new sheriff upfront in front of a camera he talks about a new body found and the suspect being An Eddie Munson.
You turn to look at the girls who got out and turned to see The other car. Dustin talks on his walkie as they get back in the car and drive off. No words being spoke, just drive
Nancy parks next to a wooded area, so does Steve, you all begin to get out. You all hold different bags and dustin and Steve take the lead, dustin follows a compass and Steve follows his intuition.
"Its This way!" Steve yells at Dustin as they bicker about who's right
As you all walk through the woods you hear it again, the clock ticking lightly in the distance, you turn to see everyone gone, a clock is in the near distance, you walk towards it as it tics back and forth. Spiders coming from the cracks. You step back and hear small whispers, turning around you see young henry in the distance sitting down and playing with spiders before you can talk a step to him you're back. Max screaming at you and shaking you roughly
"HENRY!!!" You scream when you're back. Reaching up to maxs face holding her. You both stop screaming as you look around seeing the faces of the people you just met once again. Max looks worried while everyone is just stunned.
Your nose bleeds again and you wipe it away.
"I'm...I'm sorry.." You hug max. Small tears leave your eyes. You let go and pick up the bags
"...what's your favorite song?" Steve awkwardly asks
"I don't know..." You paused and think for a second.
"Lead The way..." You continue and wait for dustin and Steve to continue walking.
"What did you see" robin says awkwardly
"Henry Creel" you say as you walk faster leaving then both.
Once they find the Skull rock Steve and Dustin argue once again about Skull Rocks location. A man jumps out from the sides, spotting you and immediately putting up a wall
"Who's she?" He says taking the time to point
"This is Y/N, and don't worry we can trust her she already knows about vecna" dustin cuts in standing between the two of you
"Yeah and being taken by him..." Maxs words cut deep, the girl sad and alone
"Here" with that you hand him a bag of beers and sit down in a rock, not dealing with his Cool guy attitude
Dustin hugs eddie
"We thought you were a gonner"
"I felt like I was"
"So this is the old guy" you say staring him down.
"Aren't you like 40." Lucas says eating some of eddies snacks.
You look at him in horror, picking up a box of treats and throwing it at the boy
"IM 38!!" you tell
"I'm not that old" you keep going crouching down in horror
"Close enough"dustin laughs lightly. Eddie just keeps staring at you
"Hmm...38..." Is says taking another sip of beer. You look up at him and shake your head no.
Eddie takes the bag and sits on another rock. Taking the pack out of the bag with some snacks falling out. He opens up a bottle and begins to drink it.
"I tried calling you guys but my walkie was soaked. So I stole another one and well ran
"What time was it at"
he answers and we connect that the times are the same
Steve asks some dumb questions and after more talking dustin speaks up.
"This would be way easier if El had her powers back" max says
"I know right. We had this girl she had powers oh she was cool" steve cuts in
"Yeah i know-" both you and eddie say together. You both look at each other and back at dustin.
"BOOM- Bada- bada - boom..."
Dustin goes on a rant about Magnetic fields. Half the group following. He says if they follow the compass they will be led to a gate.
Steve disagrees with going on a hunt when eddie is wanted but dustin has other ideas.
"What say you eddie the banished"
"I say you're asking me to follow you into mordor, which if I'm totally straight with you I thinks its a really bad idea, but the shire..the shire is burning, so Mordor it is..." Eddie stands up and starts to follow dustin, you all follow ahead.
You talk to max sometimes eddie if he isn't annoying
"So how did you meet all of them" eddie asks awkwardly.
"In a Psych ward..." You say bluntly, giving Eddie a small smirk, he laughs it off awkwardly but continues to make small conversations
"I like your shoes.. " he keeps going.
what this his idea of flirting? You give a small thanks and keep walking
You guys find the spot, you have a weird feeling in your stomach as you guys head to a lake.
"Lovers lake?" You say confused,
"Well i knew this place looked familiar" eddie smiles as he looks at the lake
"Why are we back here" you ask
"This is where the gate must be"
everyone bickers more as Steve finds a boat, letting all the grown ups in
"Y/n..." Eddie says letting you sit down
"Hey hey hey, what do you think you're doing this people holds Three people tops. You trying to sink us?" Eddie continues with annoyance. Dustin gets angry but nancy agrees, the kids should stay out to watch max.
Steve jumps on and eddie was already in the boat, dustin once again gets angry as both Boys say a sarcastic sorry and boat off.
As you five start slowly rowing around you sit silently. Robin makes some random conversation but all you can think of was the clock. And just as fast you begin to hear it again, you look around seeing no one and when you blink you're one again alone, freaked out you look in the distance, you see a giant man like creature walk along the edge of the water. As if its waiting for you, when you look back at your boat you see henry and peter on opposite sides asleep,
"Hello!!!" You yell out shaking the boat softly
"Hello!!!! Who's there" you shout once again. When no one responds you look down to the boys, letting Henries hair and holding peters hand.
"I'm ...I'm sorry" you say softly as tears pour out of your eyes.
"It was never your fault y/n" a dark low voice says in your ear, you turn to look at whatever said it, nothing was there. When you look back at the edge of the water you don't see the creature either. With another blink the bodies are gone
"Who are you" you ask searching for the boys at the same time
"Your new Friends call me Vecna...what an odd name" the voice says again...
All you can do is shake and cry, your beath as uneven as ever.
As you blink again bodies start to rise from the water. You see henry, alice, virginia, your mother and victor. Steve, eddie, nancy, robin and even the kids float up, their bodies looked as if they've been decaying and already dead, their bones cracked and broken. At the front if it all was a young Eleven, her eyes bleeding and body stretched out as much as it could
You cry out and back up as far as you can
"LET ME OUT!!" You scream throwing whatever was in the boat at the figures
"Oh y/N...look at all these lonely people...they are just like you, they held guilt from their past just as you are...but I can free you.. If you will let me" the voice once again speaks. This time it sounds closer
"NO!! NO NO LET ME OUT" you keep screaming, moving your knees up to your face as you hug them and hide
"It isn't time yet my y/n...you'll know the truth soon" it says again. You open your eyes to see Peter and henry floating dead in the lake. As you wake up, eddie is trying to calm you down and robin is trying to listen to Dustin and the others, you desperately grasp onto anyone and that was eddie. Him now holding you confused as you panic into his arms.
"We need to save them..." You say softly and crying still.
"Save who?" Steve says trying to understsnd more
You sit up and grab the oar, starting to move the boat again, nancy stops you to ask what happened
"We need to stop him.." You say looking at them again, steve grabs the other oar as you both row your way to the spot again, you hear max from the walkie. She's audibly considered for you. Eddie looks back at you, his face concerned and slightly blushed from the closeness. But you didnt really notice.
There was a light doubt within you all. You didn't know if going on was good idea going on. But you felt like it was needed as well to stop This curse.
As you five show up to the spot Steve thinks its best to Jump down, taking his shirt and shoes off. Robin and nancy time him and soon he pops up from the water
"I found it"
Robin notifies the kids and Steve explains it more. But he gets dragged down slightly. And a second later he gets taken by something
You four start freaking out wondering what to do, nancy tells them to wait and jumps in to go after Steve, robin begins to sit on the edge
"What are you doing?! She said wait" Eddie asks worried
"Yeah i heard her" robin says calmly
"She's incharge" Eddie looks at you and robjn
"Are you kidding me I made that shit up"with that robin smirks and dives backwards into the water.
Eddie begins to curse repeatedly moving around panicked. You hold his hand and look down into the water, he looks at you slowly
"No...no no no no NO!" He screams, you cover your nose and he does too doubting himself more as you both jump in
On the other side you see nancy and robin fighting bat like monsters, you get up and take out a pen you had everyone starts fighting the creators, you grabbing onto one and stabbing it repeatedly. Steve finally gets up hold one and slamming it into the ground, finally being able to slam it one final time and ripping it in half.
The three of you decide if they have rabies, both you and robin agreeing they probably do but right when you are all about to leave more come to block the way.
"So uh...this is bad" you say throwing the pen away and getting a random branch from the broken boat.
"So this means ...more running?" Robin looks at the four one time and you all begin to run Into the woods.
Once you look around Dred follows you in, you know you aren't safe, you know this was a bad idea.
AN- I hope you all liked this chapter. I really couldn't wait to right this because as of now we are following the episodes. Of course changing it slightly to got Reader into this.

Listen people might be annoyed at me for not sticking to one Au but it's not my fault Ronance can literally work in everything in my life.
Horse Racing Au (fueled by my 5ish years of horse riding and me playing horse racing games recently)
Main things will be that instead of racing like jockeys and the Kentucky Derby it will be more cross country which is jumping
• Robin owns her own ranch and horses
• She used to work for Harrington Races as a trainer but left with Max and 5 of the horses she trained after wining a bet again Charles Harrington
• Charles made sure the reason behind Robin and Max's departure is kept under multiple different legal issues but there's a lot of speculation as to why his star jockey and trainer left
• Robin has been working with kids like Holly's age and Max's ages and takes in abused horses as well
• Along with the horses Robin keeps animals like sheep, goats, chickens and bison around the ranch
•Per the contract Robin and Max were forced to sign Robin can't train horses for derbies and Max can't ride in derbies
•Max lives with Robin on the ranch and while not blood related call each other sisters
•Nancy was a cross country rider but after an accident with her horse, Barbra and Henry Creel's horse at a competition which cost her best friend's life and Nancy a concussion, bruised ribs and a fractured shoulder
• Nancy was 16 when the accident happened and hasn't ridden a horse in 8 years
• She meets Robin when dropping off Holly at the ranch and wandering into the stables and hanging around a stall where a very clearly abused horse was in
• Safe to say that Robin and Nancy's first meeting didn't go well since Nancy accused Robin of abusing her horses, the two talk it over while Nancy watches as Max handles Holly's lesson
• In standard horse movie fashion the abused horse mirrors Nancy in the way that the horse lost its friend because of the pervious handler, the horse is distrustful, skittish, agressive and very much a loner (hint hint Nancy)
• Nancy starts coming to the ranch with Holly all the time and we meet more of the characters
• El (Eleanor Jane Hopper) who was a jockey that suffered a traumatic experience when her horse Eleven (I'm so god damn funny) broke its leg while racing bringing down the two of them, luckily the two where far enough ahead of the other racers that El didn't get trampled but her right leg was broken, she was dizzy and nauseous and suffered a mild concussion, Eleven had to be put down as the break was severe and El didn't want the horse to suffer (Brenner was found putting NSAIDs [controls pain in a horse] into his horses which is how Eleven was able to race with a sprained leg which broke under the stress and pressure)
• Will Byers was kidnapped at a young age by his abusive father, he doesn't talk much about his kidnapping and always hangs around his older brother who goes everywhere with him
• Lucas Sinclair is a lovestruck dressage rider who stables his horse at Robin's ranch, he's absolutely smitten by Max and El and loves just hanging out and watching the two (Max works with El over her fear and trauma and Lucas loves to just sit on the fence and give encouraging words, I couldn't not have added Elumax)
• Erica is a show jumper and like Lucas stables her horse at Robin's ranch, she loves to criticize the ranch but deep down loves the feel and look of it
• Slow burn romance between Robin and Nancy as Robin helps her get back into riding and then later back into show jumping filled with cute picnic dates, riding horse in the sunset and helping each other through their trauma
• Oh no it's thundering and storming, Nancy you can't go home in these conditions, oh its okay you can stay here for the night but I only have one bed- Robin probably at one point
Finale things is that it's definitely a more modern setting since women couldn't be jockeys back then and idk when they could since I'm too lazy to google it but hopefully you enjoy my whole obsession from these past few days <3

I thought I should clarify something about the 001 and 011 AU. The situation with 001's multiple names and how I usually decide which of his names to use in an incorrect quote or meme, etc.
I usually use "Peter" if it's taking place either at the lab or right after they've escaped.
"001" is sometimes what I go with if he's acting more like his manipulative/mischievous self.
And then I'll use "Henry" if it's far in the future and he and El are living more normally if that makes sense.
As for El, if it's when she's still at the lab I'll use "Eleven". Once they're out and have been for a while she uses "Ellie" or "El" for short for her new identity to blend in better. (And also because she wanted a new name) and before you ask about "Jane" they don't have access to her birth certificate hence being unaware of it. (El's file at the lab only marked her as "Subject 011")
(Eventually Henry is able to get them false IDs to help them hide better. Henry's is "Henry Ballard" combination of "Henry Creel" and "Peter Ballard" while El's is "Eleanor Ballard" or "Ellie Ballard" for short.)

"dead" vs "gone"
the relentless UD/Henry-coding of the word "gone" (+ a bonus implication for Max)
chewing on how often El says the word "gone" where you would expect "dead":
where could she have gotten that?
I promise the length of this post is mainly due to screenshots
so did El just not learn the word for death til she got older? no, because this predates the Henry "gone" line:
so she knew "dead" in '79. and those lab kids are obviously super dead, so she must understand Henry's "gone" to mean something other than deceased.
having no memory of this, El goes on to use almost exclusively "gone" in the first couple seasons. but she says "dead" too, especially later on. as if they're a tight venn diagram, but not a circle.
we've got "Mama is dead" and two "Papa is dead"s, which is pretty neato. the first two are false and the third one is true in that she's referring to Brenner but... what do you want to bet that it's also false in the sense that her biological papa is alive and closer than we th[gunshot]
other times I can find her speaking any form of the word:
love the combo in the Papa one. Henry's not dead but if only Papa would've let him go he would be gone!
so chronologically:
mama is dead
barb is gone
mother is gone
sara is gone
papa is gone
papa is dead
so many dead
they are going to die
papa is dead
once she switches from "Papa is gone" to "Papa is dead" in season 2, she's never said gone again, so far, but we have a season left. I would put money on somebody, probably her, saying that Henry is "dead and gone" by the end of 5.
I also want to talk about the way literally everybody else uses the word "gone"
SO MANY of the times the word is "gone" is used on ST, especially as an adjective, we know that person's circumstances to have something to do with the lab/the UD/Henry - even when the speaker doesn't, and is merely using it to mean "dead" or "away".
an example? I can find you one or two:
and with that in mind, let's look again at Max's final words:
if you needed proof that "dead" and "gone" are two different things, they had Max say both "I don't wanna die" AND "I don't wanna go."
Lucas, with her in the natural, spoke to the dying.
El, with her in the supernatural, spoke to the going.
El's line isn't referring to stopping Max from dying, which we already know she did. El promised she's not going. as a separate thing. :)
