Lowered Hair Series: Surf's Up - Store
Out of all of EA's tall-forehead-syndrome afflicted hairstyles, this one from the store is probably the worst offender.
I've edited the mesh so that it sits lower on the head, so hopefully all sims will now have a more proportionate forehead-to-face ratio.
Details:
for teen to elder male sims
standalone file, base game compatible
it does not replace the store hair
it is enabled for random but you can easily disable that in S3PE if you want
custom thumbnail

Maxis-Match Medievaloid Miscellany, Part 1: Young Adult and Adult Male Clothing
Item 1: The Al-Andalus Tunic Skirt. A retexture of EA's Large Belted Kilt mesh with editsims' Tara Skirt textures, this tunic is a simple and classic tunic-style bottom. One recolorable channel at 4x4; available for too many categories to list, but it is fully morphed.
Item 2: The Dalriada Tunic Skirt. Another retexture of the EA Large Belted Kilt mesh, this time using PoppySims' pleated skirt textures, this tunic has pleats (or gores) for extra flair. One recolorable channel at 4x4; available for too many categories to list, but it, also, is fully morphed. Works well with lower-slung belt accessories.
Item 3: The Danelaw Tunic and Trousers. This is editsims' Disparate Youth skirt layered over EA's Kung Fu pants; suitable for the more active (or cold) individual. Three recolorable channels at 4x4 tiling. While it's available for quite a few categories, it doesn't have a pregnancy morph.
Item 4: The Byzantium Top. This is EA's World Adventures Chinese Sophisticate top layered over Supernatural's Top With Infinity Scarf. It's a very fancy top, in my opinion. Four recolorable channels at 4x4 tiling; available for Everyday, Formalwear, Career, Makeover, and Maternity to make it more ~exclusive~ than the others.

TAU1TVEC S3 SLIDER MASTERLIST
Every slider I use, all nicely organized into one, easy to navigate list.
This will come in handy for one of two reasons, one being you might just be in need of some sliders in your own game, two being I might decide to get off my ass and share some sim bases soon, in which you’ll need these.
Now, you’ll also need a mod to use all of these together, or at all really since the game’s slider amount limit is pretty unreasonable. I use nraas Master Controller and the Integrated add-on. I also have my Face Sliders and Body Sliders set to x3.

To be clear, the default replacement package replaces EA's texture, mesh, and thumbnail. It will conflict with any other default replacement of this hair. You can place it in either the Overrides folder or the Packages folder. You may need to clear your caches to see the change in-game.

Excerpt from a letter of an unknown Roman in the campaign of P. Cornelius Scipio.
"...King Bileseton was unhealthy. I think it was that illness known in Greek as 'thalassemia.' He was not quite thirty, but already he walked haltingly even with a cane, his face lined like a man of fifty or sixty...
“...His illness manifested itself in frequent attacks of pain, such that his half-brother, Tarbantu (some by-blow of the late King Laurbeles by a Celt), had to lead the troops in the field, and his wife, a woman of the Sedanti, often ruled in his stead…
"...When he died, it was while having his tonsor trim his hair. He collapsed and fell, knocking over the chair he sat in. The tonsor had cut his scalp as he fell, but no more than to be a bald spot had he lived...”
“...Still, the man (quite reasonably) assumed he would be blamed–and he too collapsed. It’s like something out of an Oscan play…”
Author’s Notes
Bileseton is only appearing in flashbacks, because he’s very dead, I’m afraid. Laurbeles will not appear at all unless I really feel the need to recreate some past events.
The Celtic and Tartessian territories overlapped, according to some maps of Pre-Roman Iberia. I also created Tarbantu as a Celt for @schokokokatze (readers of Schoko’s stories may recognize him as Kuneris King’s Hound) and felt he might be a nice foil for Ultia.
His illness is supposed to be something in the sickle-cell family; I took inspiration for his sudden death from the way Gaius Julius Caesar (Julius Caesar’s namesake father) supposedly died very suddenly while lacing his boots one morning. In modern terms, Gaius Julius (and our Bileseton) probably suffered an aneurysm or a stroke. Unfortunately, even today, people can and do die from conditions related to the sickle-cell trait.
A tonsor (plural tonsores) is the Latin term for a slave that does barbering. Women’s hairdressing slaves are called ornatrices (ornatrix singular).
Oscan plays had a reputation for crude slapstick. I think that even the Oscans might have groaned and rolled their eyes at this turn of events.
While Iberian men tended to wear shorter tunics, I chose to give Bileseton a long tunic because he’s the king and deserves to be fancy.
Tarbantu’s outfit, surprisingly, is actually very close to an Iberian man’s outfit as described in Boucher’s “20,000 Years of Fashion.”
I’m still working on Ultia’s improved clothing (mostly adjusting her skirts and creating a good-looking chiton).

Hi wcif the hearing aid your sim has on?
Hello! I’ve had this cc for a LONGGGG time (probably 2014-2016 era!), but thankfully the creator put their name on the .package file! The hearing aids are by [littlecat] (which I discovered their name used to also be EditSim) — which I tried googling and it led me to this pinterest post! Unfortunately, it led me to a dead end here...
UPDATE — I just came across a post on a ccfinds page that uploaded a backup of their cc! You can find it here! The file is called [littlecat] Hearing Aids.package. It’s recolorable and should show up for all ages in the accessories section. You can also choose one hearing aid on a specific side or hearing aids on both sides (if you have nraas controller, you can allow the selection of multiple accessories so it doesn’t cancel each other out). If I could find the original creator’s post / link, I would post that, but this post is the only thing I could find that has this cc. I hope that’s okay!
As a CODA (child of deaf adults), it’s exciting to see a desire for more representation of the deaf / hard of hearing community!
