-Error having Geno's glitches when hes unstable (and maybe even his eye melting,,, tho you rarely get to see it)

- PJ's comfort food is just some weird concoction Ink and Error made thats just error's strings and purple paint and called it "homemade ramen"

It sounds so dumb but its probably a really good healing item for him if he lost his strings=structure somehow.

-Gradient and Error communicate through puppets. Both of them are too socially awkward when face to face so this is for the best lmfao

-Ink building lil mini metatton robots!! Did you know his dad taught him how to build machines and studying astrophysics? Its so he learns to be less dependent on his paints and powers. I wish ppl draw him doing stuff like this more ; w ;

Tbh, given the heart to heart moment Regulus and Orion had a few chapters prior, perhaps the family can have vacations separate from each other except for Orion and Regulus? 🤔 They can have father and son bonding, probably in a luxuriously quiet and isolated spot.

Do you think they'd actually enjoy that? Personally I think they thrive on the dysfunction and would miss Walburga haranguing them after a couple hours.

Had sudden inspiration for my first moodboard and story prompt. Think Avengers as family + beach + Peter x Tony.

2 years post-Germany, the rogue Avengers & co were being pardoned by the U.N. - because, really, how long could people stay mad at good ol’ Captain America? Peter is 17 by this point and has spent the vast majority of his non-Spidey free time with his new mentor Tony. Pete had always been in awe of Iron Man - his genius, his bravery. But over time, Peter became in awe of Tony. The man behind the iron mask. Generous, kind, funny, and complicated, he was apparently everything Peter’s heart - and dick - desired. After meeting up with Tony again post-Civil War, seeing him half broken from losing his family, the young superhero made it his mission to be there for the older man, no matter what might happen.

To Tony, Pete was the only thing keeping him together most days. It was probably pathetic, and definitely was problematic,, but everywhere else Tony looked he saw nothing but chaos or heartache. Rhodey’s legs, Pepper’s dissolution of their romance, Stark Industries being the vast and meeting-ridden monster it always was, SHIELD with its eternal chaos. But Peter? Peter was an island of stability and sunshine and terrible taste in music and beautiful blushes - and Tony was going to hell because this kid, this superhero, had him wrapped up in his webs so tightly but he didn’t even know it.

So when Fury announced that he was getting the band back together by way of forced isolation on a remote island (because of course, of course) so they could all figure out how to get along again, there were two definitive and distinct reactions from the new group of Tony+Peter:

Tony knew he needed the kid there with him. He, and his heart, couldn’t take solitary confinement with his used-to-be family. The hope would eat him alive. And Peter was his safe space, his buddy, his person. He needed him there.

And Peter? Peter held a grudge against the rogue Avengers like nobody’s business and would do whatever it took to protect Tony.

And maybe along the way the two finally figure out they aren’t just Tony+Peter, but Tony/Peter, and that sometimes family can be forgiven even from the most tragic of breakups.

i have a very large family thats spread out over the world. cause my mum is australian/kiwi and my dads from iowa country but his mom adopts a Lot of kids. and then ofc my stepdad is japanese and all his family live in japan though i only met a few since obv i was only able to visit once. but its just such a large family with so many people in so many different parts of the world with so many different experiences…

I know it's weird, but I just don't like glamorising neither romanticising motherhoods. Cause I know that mothering is hard af.

They're not precisely bad mothers per say, (Except OFAH and Soccer Family ones) just highly dysfunctional ones.

I just wanna show that part of motherhood too. I mean, not many people have the blessing or luck to have ride or die moms, so yeah. I always put a bit of self experiences in the fics.

A/N: I wrote this the night of 10x11 and it's been sitting, collecting unedited cob webs ever since. I finally spruced it up and made it presentable, so here ya go! Kev deserves someone to hold him and tell it's all gonna be okay 🥺

The house was quiet when he walked in. There was light coming from upstairs but he leaned his back against the front door and stood in the darkness. The mute shadows that surrounded him mirrored the hollow feeling in his chest. There were unfinished emotions resting in his spirit and he sighed a heavy breath, wondering if he should unleash them from his depths or stuff them back down, much like he did with a lot of his torments.

It was already late when he left the precinct, so late that he knew that he missed dinner, but his mind was already set on stopping by his building to make sure there was an adequate unit for his father. He’d call and hire someone in the morning to clean it up and put some furniture in it, but he couldn’t bear to go to sleep tonight without verifying that his father would have somewhere safe to go, once he got out of the halfway house.

He’s not sure how long he stood there, with his head against the door, but it lifts upright when he hears footsteps descending the stairs.

“Kev?” Your voice eked out carefully.

“Yeah, it’s me, baby.”

He met you at the last step and you both wrapped your arms around each other tightly. You feel that his weight is heavier tonight and know that today wasn’t a good day. Instead of acknowledging it, you guide him into the kitchen, “I left your food in the microwave, let me heat it up.”

He follows you silently, his head still leaned on your shoulder as he walks behind you with his hands on your hips. You lean into his embrace as the timer counts down until the egg rolls and fried rice are ready. Still, no words are spoken. You say nothing as his arms wrap tighter around you.

This is how it went with the two of you. He was a proud man and it wasn’t always easy for him to spill his emotions out to you. You were dogged in your pursuit for the truth, in your mission to heal his afflictions the way he always did for you, without question. There was a silent compromise in the way that neither of you spoke. Time was a pact, the equalizer that told him that you wouldn’t push and that he wouldn’t suppress.

You two sat at the breakfast table in the kitchen, ankles linking against each other under the table.

Always touching, the two of you.

He offered his plate to share, but you only took one bite out of an egg roll before shifting the dish back in front of him. Your ring shines against the glint of the light above and your eyes can’t help but jump to his. Like you did all the thousands of other times you saw that golden piece of metal surrounding his finger, you smile and your heart flutters. He catches the simper and his shoulders shake in a hushed chuckle.

“I’m sorry, that ring will always be the sexiest thing you will ever wear,” you always say.

“Even sexier than the chain?”

“Damn. Can’t forget about the chain.”

You two don’t actually say the words aloud like you usually do, but the back and forth is wordlessly exchanged through your eyes. A language that only two people in the universe will ever be fluent in.

When he finishes his plate, you go to grab it, but he swipes it away before you can and rises to head to the dishwasher. He loads the plate and fork and then detours to the fridge to grab something out of it.

He hands you your half-eaten dark chocolate bar and sits. You offer it, he leans over to only one bite out of it before pushing it back into your hand. And so, now you’re the one who eats quietly because you know that your husband is ready to talk, but still needs a moment to gather his thoughts.

You finish your chocolate, enjoying the crunch of almond in the last morsel and Kevin reaches for your hand.

“I got him a place to stay in the building.”

You nodded, not saying anything, allowing him the space to release whatever he's holding.

“I don’t know… I’m just still so… angry. I’m happy he’s out. He’s safe. But he had all this time to reach out. To make amends. And the best he can come up with for an excuse is his pride?”

His voice still creaked with emotion, much like before, when he let his dad have it at the precinct. He thinks about Jordan and Vinessa and even at his most frustrated, he couldn’t bear to think of not showing up for them whenever they needed. It may not have been fair to him, raising two kids when he was barely an adult himself, but he still couldn’t even fathom letting them down in any way. So how could the man that sired three children allow anything to hold him back from rushing back to them, from picking up the pieces of a long broken family?

Your second hand reaches around to wrap around his and you lean closer to him, allowing your foreheads to rest on each other’s.

“I feel like I can’t even be too mad at him. Because I don’t know what he went through. What he had to get through to survive all those years on the inside… Maybe he wouldn’t have made it if he was too weighed down by thoughts of us.”

You speak for the first time.

“You just hate that it was you and the kids that were weighing him down.”

With glassiness in his eyes, he nods.

You rise from your seat and rest in his lap, nestling his head against your chest, caressing the back of his neck. He heaves a deep breath and bundles closer into you.

“It’s okay,” you whisper.

You hold him tight as his shoulders shake, allowing him to find solace in your embrace. A safe haven so he can mourn for the time lost. And forgive for what wasn’t his fault.

Simping for Mamoru Hosoda

You know what? Keeping it up with the Saturday and anime movie thing, I have going, let me just talk about my favorite anime director. Mamoru Hosoda. (No, I do not care that much about Makoto Shinkai. But that is another story.)

Look, I was kinda pre-disposed to loving this man's movies, given that my first fandom hyperfixation was Digimon and he did not only the first two movies, but also an episode from that show. So obviosuly I was kinda going to love his stuff and look out for it, when he started to get active outside of the fandom.

But darn, his movies are just so fucking awesome. And most of them make me cry.

Let me get a bit personal here. I come from a broken home. I had a single mother and that single mother was abusive af. I was homeless, when I was 18. Those parts of the family still alive to this day do not accept me as a guy, because they do not get the entire trans stuff.

But... Maybe it is because of this, that the Hosoda movies always speak to me.

Because the Mamoru Hosoda movies always deal centrally with the topic of family.

In Summer Wars this is very much clear text. It is about this big family clan and about the dynamics of the family. Both in the good and the bad. It also is surprisingly a lot about mutual aid and doing what you can.

Then we have Wolf Children, another movie that focuses on family. In this case of the family of the mother and her two children and about the two children as siblings.

The Boy and the Beast might be even more interesting, because this is very much a found family movie. After all our protagonist ends gets adopted in this monster family of sorts. And it is very much about the father-son relationship between him and his father figure. And about how adopted families can be as valid as blood families.

Mirai no Mirai does not even tackle that big of a topic with it. It is just about siblings and about outcomes and about, well, the future and what it might hold. I even managed this movie without crying!

And then we have Belle, a movie that actually shows us dysfunctional families. Both in the case of our protagonist, who just struggles to adjust after the death of her mother, but also more noticable with the parental abuse that the two brothers live through.

It really is a theme that basically shows up in all of Hosoda's original movies. And I love them for it.

Especially I do love, though, that there is some nuance in this. And that despite everything... We have a choice in this.

Goryeo Khitan War thoughts:

Gay king’s lover is definitely suspicious.

Love the monk prince. Kim Dong Joon, you’ve come a long way. Between him, Im Shi Wan, and Park Hyung Sik, the group Ze:a has produced some very fine actors.

With this and Perfect Marriage Revenge, I don't know if I can ever look at the actress who plays the evil mom in both dramas without thinking "you bitch!" I know it's just acting, but she's so good that it makes it hard to separate her from her characters.

Evil Queen Dowager is definitely dickmatized by her lover and will probably be pissed AF when she finds out he’s been manipulating her.

Also, I’m loving this dysfunctional family trifecta of gay mama’s boy, overbearing evil mom, and mom’s shady boyfriend who just can’t get along with her son.

Gay king may be foolish but he seems to care about the people. However, instead of working on protecting them from an impending invasion, his idea of treating his people well is to throw them a big fun party. 😅

Also. I swear, this was all I could think of when he told his ministers that all they have to do is beat Khitan if they invade Goryeo:
