Meggy and Sig vs Undersea Soldier Desti and the Bowser-sized Fishy Boopkins from back in the Reboot Arc.

SMG4 and Mario vs Admiral 3 and Bell

And finally Bob vs Queen Sonata, because she quickly clocked him as the actual musician of the group.

They win in the end (because it'd be a pretty quick and unsatisfying end to the arc and the AU otherwise), and Sonata gives them the seed as promised.

...Okay, I've tried to write out the scene in my head but the words won't come and it's frustrating me so you're getting a summary instead. Before the group goes back to the ship, Sonata pulls SMG4 aside to speak privately and reveals that while she still can't remember him, between the way he looks at her and 3 and the way seeing him makes her feel she's figured out that they're supposed to be family in his world. Then she wishes the group luck and warns them that according to the border guards the inhabitants of the next Zone (the greyscale one with all the ghost) don't seem dangerous, but their apparent apathy means they most likely won't be particularly helpful.

And so with the green and purple Wonder Seeds now in their possession the group moves on.

If someone doesn't know the game Don't Starve Together, I will say this: both this game and Don't Starve belong to the "either you love it or you hate it" genre - it is a survival game in a charming, cartoonish, slightly "sketchy" style, where our task is to survive in a completely alien, generally hostile world, where almost everything tries to kill us. When you start the game, you don't know anything, so you die quite often (unless you use the DST-wiki, but believe me, half the fun is discovering the world - one of my more epic deaths was when I was chained in the evening on the first day in a new world with a pickaxe a rock from under which bats flew out and killed me in a few seconds... I sat in front of the screen for a few moments after my death, staring at the text informing me that I had survived 0 days with the words "what the fuck" on my lips - beautiful times of ignorance...) Overall, the game is about surviving, first of all, by getting food, but also by fending off attacks from various types of monsters, enduring bad weather conditions, avoiding darkness, and, above all, not giving in to your own mind, which is gradually becoming crazy. Cute.

Wilson, as this is the name of the character who is the ghost in the picture, apparently made food in the camp without having anything to add to the fire. It went out - and Grue attacked him, killing him in 2-3 attacks. Someone will tell me: wait a minute, there is hay right next to! Let me remind you that in order to collect anything, we have to be able to see it, and when the fire starts to go out, you can only see it a few steps away from it :] Wilson had no chance... Bendy, who was supposed to keep the fire going, screwed it up so badly...

I considered whether there should be a skeleton or even Wilson's corpse among the things, but I decided not... I always treated Grue's attack as not leaving any traces, not even a corpse (in the game, every death leaves a skeleton, which doesn't always make sense). I took the background, of course, from ready-made turf patterns, in this case Forest Turf and Deciduous Turf (i.e. the deciduous forest biome I hate the most - although I like it for Catcoons).

PS. DST is often draw by me :)

You mention often that you are a "Former LEO", why did you quit?

There is a very long answer to your short question, but I will try to give you the short'ish answer. The "Us vs Them" mentality had started to set in after about 10 years on the road. I had stopped gearing up wondering who I was going to help in the next shift and started gearing up for a fight every shift. Day by day, I stated seeing those I was entrusted to help as a threat, all the time. Mainly becasue my day was 75% dealing with the bottom of the gene pool barrel, 10% feeling like I was really making a positive difference in my community, and 15% beating my head against paperwork. (The paperwork was still ALL by hand, often in triplicate with carbon paper.) At 15 years in I was able to change jobs and always thought I go back to being an LEO full time. But, deep down inside I knew I was never going back. I suffered a TBI in 2006 and that was the final nail in any thoughts of going back on the road, that choice was now out of my hands. I retired with 19 years 7 months as an LEO (20 years 4 days in total.) and I don't miss a single day on the road. You can only see so many murders, rapes, bank robbery's, auto fatalities, suicides, child abuse cases, spousal abuse cases, and a million other shitty things you can't scrub off your brain. And that is just the Garrison mission, we still have an entirely different combat mission. Clerical note: I did all my time as an LEO as a Military Policemen (Army). You will often, and I still do, hear civilian LEO's say "MP's are not real LEO's.", to those folks I say do the job. My arrest (Apprehension) authority was federally derived, just like any other federal LEO. There is literally no crime that happens in the country that will not happen on a military installation. We deal with not only our military communities that are often larger than the communities right outside the gate but all the civilians that enter our gates and the shit they drag in with them. I worked as a regular patrolmen, Shift Super, DST (Drug Suppression Team) member, SRT (Special Reaction Team) member, and the PSD (Personal Security Detachment) teams when they Army still had a school for it, now it seems to be mostly unit derived. As I stated above, murders, rapes, bank robbery's, auto fatalities, suicides, child abuse cases, spousal abuse cases all they way down to the shoplifting of candy. Let's not forget all the weekly predictable cases like bar fights starting on Thursdays and ending on Sundays, The domestics starting on Friday night and going into Monday morning. The bullshit Monday morning walk-in cases for minor-thefts or property damage that happened on the weekend but soldiers use them as an excuse to get out of PT. I could go on and on. Ok, Anon, this is the short answer to your question, the long full answer would fill volumes. I hate this movie quote but, it's not entirely wrong. The bulk of the people we deal with have been trained to be both technically and tactically proficient, trained in the use of multiple types of firearms and unarmed self-defenses, and in many cases trained to a degree that they possess skills that most LEO's outside the gate do not have interactions with. (God, the SF and Ranger and one loan Delta dude stories I could tell.) Also, a tip of the hat to all those MPI (Military Police Investigations) and CID (Criminal Investigations Division) folks, fuck, I'm glad I did not have to do your paperwork.

And yeah she probably went up against Inner Agent M3ggy 'cause even without her memories Desti's no quitter in any universe and would definitely compete all 80 stations.

We’ve been meeting weekly (more or less) since 2006 to chat about all things Sentinel. We tried a couple of different days and times before settling on Saturdays at 7 pm Greenwich Mean Time (GMT)/19:00 Universal Time Coordinated (UTC). While it’s not ideal for every time zone – it’s very early in the morning in Australia, Japan, and China – it’s the best fit for most, including fans across the International Date Line.

We stay on Greenwich Mean Time/UTC all the time, which means that the time of chat shifts when Daylight Savings Time starts and again when it ends. If we tied it to any other specific time zone, fans in the opposite hemisphere would experience a two-hour shift in start time. It can make things a little confusing, especially when DST has started or ended in some places but not others, but a quick check of a time zone converter will set you straight – just remember that we are ALWAYS at 7 pm GMT, and you can find out when that is where you are.

We meet on Chatzy.com and the link is above. One of the nice things about Chatzy is that the chat remains even after we all leave. If you’d like to come and check things out outside of the regular chat day and time, feel free! But do beware – we get bots coming in and leaving links, usually to porn. I try to clean those up before chat starts, but if you are popping in at an irregular time, you may catch some of them.

We’re usually around for two to three hours, so feel free to drop in at any time and stay as long as you can. Chime in with the conversation or just lurk, anything goes. And we are always happy to revisit a conversation: if we said something interesting twenty minutes previously that you want to follow up on, say something!

Our schedule is as follows:

First Saturday of the month: we watch an episode together. Chatzy has a built-in video program that allows us to watch and chat at the same time. Currently we’re watching the episodes in order; we started with Switchman 63 months ago, and in May we’re going to be finishing up with The Sentinel by Blair Sandburg. In a total coincidence, that’s going to be the 25th anniversary of when that episode aired on UPN, so we’ve got some special plans for that watch.

Second Saturday of the month: we trade off between reading a fic and discussing it one month, and doing concrit the next. For concrit we usually have a prompt, and folks who want to participate write a piece of no more than 1000 words. We upload them to a Google Drive folder and then give feedback during the chat.

Third and Fourth Saturdays of the month: we have various discussion topics. These can range from Jim’s backstory to favorite tropes to Shaman!Blair to what would have happened in a fifth season. They’re meant to start discussion, not limit it, so we don’t adhere to them rigidly, and in fact we often stray. Fic recs are always welcome!

Fifth Saturday of the month: on the rare occasions that we have a fifth Saturday we do Pimp Your Fandom, which is where people talk about what they have been reading or watching recently and why Sentinel fans would enjoy it.
