Sorry, I meant to send an ask yesterday, but I got carried away 😅
So what about ut, us, uf and ht (you can ignore the last one if you want to don't worry) and how they would be with a reader that hides the fact that they're physically hurt.
Maybe they went hiking with the skellie, and they tripped and pretended that it was only a little scratch when days later they see quite a big wound that's infected.
It's a bit gross, so it's okay if you don't do it, don't worry :)

you had gotten in a little tussle with a fallen branch walking home. you were completely oblivious, and tripped right over it. it hurt to walk on, and you soon noticed it swelling. it wasn't... sprained, right? nah, of course not! you brushed it off, thinking that it would be just fine in a day or two.
but until then, you might want to put some ice on that.
and so you did. for three days, with no sign of improvement. you tried keeping it a secret, but then your s/o came home while you were putting ice on it, right on the couch beside the door, and...
UnderTale:
Sans:
-he walks into the house, immediately heading for the couch.
-"hey, y/n, i'm ho- you alright? what happened to you?"
-"oh! sans, hi, i didn't expect you home so early!" you wave frantically to draw his eyes away from your ankle.
-"yeah... work was slow, so i came home. whats going on? you're acting weird."
-"pshh, don't be silly, nothing's wrong! absolutely nothing!"
-he sighs.
-"my whole shtick back in the underground was that i can see peoples stats. your HPs lowered, you're acting really awkward about your leg, and you're trying to hide an ice pack from me. i know, i saw it when i walked in. so, im gonna ask you again. whats going on?"
-you sighed. he caught you, he always did.
-"i dont know what's up. I tripped a few days ago and my ankle just started swelling. I'm gonna give it a few more days before I see a doctor, just to see if it heals on its own."
-"alright then," really? that's it? not going to insist you see someone? well, that's great for you! "I'm going to grillby's. wanna come?"
-you nodded your head.
-"cmon, let's take a shortcut."
-he took you to the fucking ER.
Papyrus:
-you look up after hearing the door open and you heard a crash.
-he had gone grocery shopping, apparently, because his bags were sprawled on either side of him on the floor.
-his jaw was only half hinged, that's how bad you scared him.
-as in it dropped. almost fully.
-he suddenly runs to your side (re-hinging his jaw on the way) and kneels by your side.
-"HUMAN, what ever is the matter? is it serious? does it hurt? will it need stitches? should i take you to-"
-"Paps! i'm okay. i think it's just sprained, i'll be alright," you tries to reassure him.
-"SPRAINED? oh, HEAVENS no, i must take you to the doctor right away!"
-you sigh. "Papyrus, it isn't that big of a deal. i'm sure it'll be alright in a few days."
-"absolutely not! what if it's worse than you think? it could kill you!"
-he really thought a sprained ankle could kill you? he may be clueless about human injuries, but at least he cares!
-you don't have too much time to reply before he picks you up, puts you in the car, buckles you up (because heaven forbid something ELSE happen to you, ESPECIALLY under his watch) and brings you to the ER.
UnderFell:
Sans:
-he literally did not notice.
-he grumbles a quiet, "hey," before trotting upstairs into his room.
-it isn't until several days later when the pain has worsened and you cannot walk on it that he asks what the fuck is going on.
-you explained that you had tripped a few days ago, and it got swollen, and you thought that it would just go away, but it's been getting worse and worse since it happened.
-"fuckin' idiot," he groaned. "i'm dating a goddamn moron! alright, get in the car. i'm takin' you to a hospital."
-he's groaning the entire way.
Papyrus:
-as soon as he lays eyes on you, he sighs.
-"what did you do this time?"
-what the hell did he mean, 'this time'? he CANNOT be holding you accountable for that one time you got a concussion! that was HIS fault!
-"hey! you BETTER not be talking about-"
-"about the concussion," he cut you off. "yes, yes, i'm aware, you believe that incident to be my doing. however, i can GUARANTEE that this is not! now, tell me what happened. i expect a full explanation."
-you rolled you eyes and told him, feeling a little pissed off about his crossed arms and tapping foot, although you couldn't fully blame him. the whole situation WAS a little silly, now that you have to say it out loud.
-he scoffed when you finished talking. such a silly thing! why the HELL didn't you immediately see a doctor? swelling is NEVER normal!
-how did he, a skeleton monster who had gone most of his life without so much as seeing a human, know more about human anatomy than a fully grown human adult?
-and how did he, an esteemed member of the royal guard, end up in a relationship with such a fool?
-"get yourself looking decent. we are visiting the hospital to get you proper treatment."
-'looking decent', you looked fi-! no, you didn't, nevermind.
UnderSwap:
Sans:
-"hey, y/n, Alphys let out training early, so i'm back! what are you doing?"
-you scrambled to hide the ice pack and hike your pants back over your ankle. "oh, uh. . . nothing," you said sheepishly in reply, a fake grin appearing on your face.
-"oohhhh, no no no. i know that look. you're hiding something. best be honest now."
-damn him! how DARE he know you so well!
-"i think i did something to my ankle," you muttered.
-"hmm. . . let me see."
-he walked over and inspected your ankle for a few moments.
-"it looks sprained. when did this start?"
-"a few days ago. i tripped and it started swelling."
-he gave your ankle ankther quick look.
-"and why didn't you tell me?"
-"well, i thought it would go away at first. i was going to tell you, if it didn't. i was just going to wait a few days."
-"well, there's no need! i'm taking you to a doctor."
-he helped you stand and let you use him as something like a crutch, so you wouldn't have to put too much weight on your injured foot.
Papyrus:
-you look up to see him standing, eyebrows furrowed (you know what i mean sans does it in the main game) looking at you.
-"anything you want to tell me?"
-"ah, nothing. . . i'm just gonna go to a doctor if this doesn't start getting better."
-you knew the look he was giving you. he wanted to know what happened.
-"i tripped a few days ago and my ankle started swelling. nothing major. it's just a little sore."
-"mmm. i'm sure. you have five minutes, then i'm taking you to a doctor," he said as he laid on the couch beside you.
-"no, Paps, there's really no need-" you were interupted by snoring. but you knew that didn't mean you were off the hook. he would be awake in five minutes EXACTLY, whether you were ready to go or not.
HorrorTale:
Sans:
-he kinda just stands there for a few moments after he sees you with the ice pack.
-ice pack means something's wrong, because he doesn't see food around, but his skull injury makes figuring anything else out difficult.
-ice pack. . . on your ankle. . .
-it doesn't matter what's wrong. he just knows something is. so, he comforts you! in the only way he knows how!
-which is a BONE-CRUSHING hug.
-and because you're sitting, and he's standing over you, leaning down to hug you, it's a very awkward angle. leading to a lot of bones jabbing into uncomfortable places.
-you know you can't really do anything to get him off of you, so you just wait it out.
-"i'm alright, Sans. it isn't anything major. i'm about to go to a doctor!"
-he was going to tell you to anyway. you just got that part out of the way.
-his time in the underground under Undyne's rule made him very paranoid about the health of those he loves, so no matter how big the injury, you MUST see a doctor.
-it's not up for debate.
-he drives you because he doesn't want you to have to put any more strain on your ankle.
-(should he even have a drivers license? questionable...)
Papyrus:
-he has a puzzled look on his face.
-that. . . he suspected that wasn't a good sign.
-"y/n. . . i don't suppose you want to tell me what is going on?"
-"oh," you nervously laughed. "no biggie. just tripped a few days ago, it kinds hurts. if it doesn't feel better tomorrow i'm seeing a doctor."
-"hmm. i shall hold you to that."
-you laughed. you bet he would.
-spoiler alert, he did.
(a/n: sorry if this is totally inaccurate to having a sprained ankle, it just seemed like a good scenario, and i was too in the writing groove ((once i actually started)) to do much research)

gojo had been so good to you. it was the season between fall and winter, and for first time in years, you got sick. “satoru, im fine. you don’t need to go to the market.” he waves his hand, “hot ramen is a necessity to get better. sleep, i’ll be back in 10.” he rushed away as you sighed.
you woke up an hour later. “morning,” gojo said w a smile. “morning. sorry about your ramen, it must be cold now.” he checked your temperature as he said, “dont be silly, i’ll heat it up,” he was now concentrating on the thermometer. “hmm, its not getting any better, better call shoko.” you shook your head, “dont call shoko for such an absurd thing, theres people seriously injured, toru.” he looked at you, “you’re important too. i’ll ask her to stop on her way back.” he got up to heat the ramen before you could say anything.
usually when you were sick, the feelings of depression, homesickness and body dysmorphia plagued you. this time was no different either. with every passing second you could feel your mental health deteriorating. “hey honey, ramen’s here,” gojo interrupted your thoughts. you tried to give him a smile and maybe you did because he smiled back “i’ll be right back.” you nodded. as your gaze goes to the ramen, you stare at it. you know you should eat it but maybe its better to starve, you liked how it felt anyway. you never wouldve realised how long you’d been staring until gojo put a hand on your shoulder. “youve been staring for a while now. everything ok?” you sigh as you say, “i wish it were gojo. i just- i don’t think i should eat.”
“why not?” you cleared your throat, “the answer is a bit silly. never mind that.” he looked at you, “am i serious anytime?” you laugh at that, “rarely,” he smiles seeing you laugh, “so tell me.” you hesitate, “i just have some body issues. serious ones. being sick strips away my appetite. not that it matters, i like the feeling of being starved.”
you’re nervous as silence follows your words. you regret saying anything at all so you try to just wave your hand to pretend its nothing, “im sorry.” gojo begins, “i just find it hard to being that you’d hate yourself. you’re everything to me.” oh. you didnt know what to say, which he somehow sensed. “you mean everything to me,” he repeated, “and i need you here w me. so please eat and get better.” he had a hint of seriousness, something truly unlike him. you nodded your head and he gave you the sweetest smile, one that made you realise he’s everything to you.

by the time ben has the bright idea to call you, mason is absolutely wasted. music can be heard down the street and the house might explode with how many people are packed in.
mason can’t stop laughing at nothing in particular, the alcohol doing a number on him. he’s halfway pouring himself another shot before ben snatches it from him. ignoring the childish protest from his friend, he guides him outside for some much needed fresh air. “i think we’ve had enough, yeah?”
ben makes sure mason is settled on the curb of the sidewalk before dialing your number, begrudgingly taking the role of babysitter.
“uh y/n, are you busy?”
“not really, everything okay?” you have to hold the phone away from your ear, trying not to get ear damage from the loud music bleeding out in the background.
“no, yeah everything is good. i just think its best if you come get mase, he’s pretty shitfaced.”
over the receiver, you hear masons slurring, “who are you on the phone with? come sit with me!” you feel silly, just hearing his voice makes your heart skip a beat.
“its y/n”
“y/n? y/n! where is she?” you can hear the smile in his tone and it makes you weak in the knees. if only you could see how pathetically sweet he looks, eyes looking for you in every direction.
ben must have given mason the phone because his voice is suddenly clearer than ever. “y/n?”
“everything okay, love? having fun?”
“i think so, i said i wasn’t going to drink that much but kai kicked my ass in beer pong… twice.” he mumbles the last part, quietly. “are you almost here? i need you, i miss you.”
“i miss you too, sweet boy.” you swear you can’t love him anymore than you do right now. he always gets so soft and lovey when he’s drunk, it’s your favorite version of him. “want me to take you home?”
“what a scandalous proposition, at least buy me dinner before asking me to go home with you!” he laughs at his own joke for a solid minute.
“i’ll buy you all the dinners you want, okay? i’ll be there soon.”
you exchange ‘i love yous’ and mason hands the phone back to ben, having watched the whole conversation with amusement. and the amusement only grows when mason lets himself fall back onto the patch of sidewalk grass. he hears mason ramble about something along the lines of ‘she wants to take me home’.
“hurry, for his own good.”
when you finally do arrive, you find mason passed out on bens shoulder. quickly getting off the car, you approach them and kneel right in front of them. mason is still mumbling nonsense of ‘her’ and ‘home’, eyes glazed and sleepy. you boop his nose, affectionately. he looks extra beautiful with the streetlight illuminating his features. “hello there, handsome. let’s get out of here, yeah?”
nothing could’ve prepared you for the serious look mason gave you as his gaze landed on you. no smiles, no laughing. in an annoyed tone, “no thanks, please leave me alone.”
ben and you share a confused look. you force yourself to swallow the sadness that was creeping up in you. mason has never been so cold with you, always wanting to work out arguments instead of fighting. what could you have done to him in that fifteen minute drive to warrant such a cold attitude? you reach for his hand, “im sorry, mase? did i do something wrong?”
“i said to leave me alone.” he retracts his hand at lighting speed, making your heart feel worse than it ever has. he’s certainly never done that before. “my girlfriend is on her way and i don’t think she’ll appreciate you putting the moves on me.”
you raise an eyebrow, “mason, what are you on about?”
“just leave.”
you really didn’t understand what was going on. “baby, whats going on?”
“do not call me baby, only my girlfriend can do that.”
oh my, your mood does a complete 180 and now you really can’t contain your laugh. your poor boyfriend is drunker than you thought. Keeping the charade up, you reach to ruffle his hair “i’m so sorry, i had no idea you had a girlfriend.”
his reflexes are quick, trying to dodge your affectionate gestures. “you should be sorry. please- hey stop that, i know y/n will definitely get mad if she sees you playing with my hair. only she’s allowed to do that.” not even waiting for your response, he turns to ben. “is y/n almost here? i want her.”
this time, you and ben share an amused look. ben pats his back, “she just called, said she’s almost here.”
hearing that, masons stern glare is targeted at you again. he slurs, “now you really do have to leave. y/n might be nice but she will fight you if she sees you trying to get into my pants. leave before i tell her you tried calling me baby.”
without another word, you get up and walk behind your car, hidden from masons view. giving him a couple seconds to believe that this “other girl” left, you prepare to come out of your hiding spot. when you finally do reappear, you walk up to him again, hoping the ruse will work. acting as if this is the first time you’re seeing him tonight, you kneel down again and kiss his cheek. realizing that it’s really you this time, masons entire mood shifts. he tries and fails to get up, trying to grasp your hand. “y/n!”
“hey pretty boy!” ruffling his hair, this time he leans into it. “you’re okay?”
“yeah, just a little drunk and sleepy. i really want you to take me home, not sexually just literally.”
“thats what i’m here for, baby.”
as if the word triggers some memory he was trying hard to repress, mason lets out a gasp. “y/n! you’ll never believe what just happened.”
“hmm?”
“some girl tried touching my hair and she was calling me baby and getting too close to me. i told her i had a girlfriend but she wouldn’t listen. i was properly mad but i told her you’d fight her if she stuck around.”
“oh, yeah? was she pretty? did you like her?” you know you shouldn’t take advantage of him in this state but it was just too fun to tease drunk mason.
“no! i didn’t even look at her! i was just waiting for you to show up and trying my best to ignore her. i swear it!”
at this, ben snorted and helped you lift mason up. latching on to you, he sways you both around, promising he didn’t even pay attention to that other girl. you say your goodbyes to ben after making sure mason is properly in the car.
halfway on the drive, mason speaks up. “where were you tonight? you should’ve come along and protected me from scary girls.”
you laugh at this.
“whats so funny?”
“nothing. just thought of me following you around, making sure no other girl touches your pretty hair.”
soon enough, you’re back home and helping him stumble in through the front door. getting him up the stairs should earn you a gold medal, setting aside the fact that he only almost slipped twice. entering your shared bedroom, you gently sit him down on the bed and begin to undress him. he hums in content when he is left in only his boxers and an old shirt, quickly being tucked in the covers by you. even in his state, he wants to tell you how much he appreciates you, how you’re his whole world. “i love you, y/n.”
“i love you, sweet boy.” you give him a quick peck on his stubbled cheek, before changing out of your clothes and climbing into bed alongside him. immediately, he pulls you to him, nestling his face into the crook of your neck. this is heaven to you, feeling his warm touch all over you.
you kiss him one more time, “go to sleep, love. you had a long night.”
“but i’m not even tired!” he whines, stifling a yawn.
“yes you are, mase.” lifting your hand to his hair, you begin to play with it in hopes that it lulls him to sleep. “it’s okay, i’ll stay up for a bit if you need anything.”
mason doesn’t even hear the last part of your sentence, already lost in his dreams of you.

a teeeeeeny little notice
Hello! Faruzan mod here.
If you've noticed, most of the accounts that I run (known to the public) have not been very active recently. After I dropped uhm my last Steambird issue I was VERY burnt out, HAHA. It was very taxing on my energy and motivation and I didn't really feel in the mood to rp or write for the Steambird or anything.
While I still feel a tad burnt out, I'm going to try to return back to my normal activeness!! For the time being, though, I'll probably stick to replying to any asks that pop into my inbox(es).
I'm also going to officially be putting the Steambird on a hiatus, and until I see anything really silly I can write about.
to explain about the Steambird, its just that as of late and for the past few months, Genshin-official hasn't been as silly as it had been back in July of 2023. I joined this community because of how silly it was and I love being apart of it. And while I love all the multipara roleplay and serious worldbuilding and character development of all these accounts, it just feels so foreign to me.
I think when I feel better I'll try to interact with more accounts and be really silly! but despite still being a minor, i do still have to juggle my own life. (Okay, well, there's nothing really to juggle im just really unmotivated.)
And to be so honest, writing about the serious occurrences in the community just does not bring me any joy. It's interesting, sure, but writing the Steambird has just lost its spark for me. I'm basically a one man show too HAHA. Not to discredit my amazing link finder Minie. But I just don't think I feel up to the task and I'm sorry to anybody who enjoyed my issues. I want be able to give the same silly quality of issues like I did in my first two Steambird specials. People liked that and I felt so happy that they did and now reading back on my articles they just feel so bland and unexcited. I want to bring back that silly quality for my readers.
And with this hiatus, I think I may consider deleting or repurposing several accounts to characters that I truly love and enjoy and whatever. Because honestly despite being an ongoing inside joke between the early members of the Genshin-official community, having 22 roleplay accounts is A LOT.
And I also recognize that with the Dragonspine RP threads most of the halt in finishing it is.. my fault, actually. But I intend to get back in on it so we can finally put a finish to the narrative we as a community have scripted together!! (The Mondstadt portion, anyway.)
Uhm... I dont think i have anything else to say, but thank you to everyone who has followed and laughed and smiled at my accounts because you truly all brighten up my days.

It hits so hard since percy has never afforded to visit fun places, annabeth has never left camp so is absolutely thriving with her architect games, grover is hunting down humans which was so funny and cool and they decided to make it more serious and plot centred
”ill take percy this way” WHY CAN’T GROVER TAKE PERCY THAT WAY HUH ANNABETH? 🤨 (girl just say you want to spend time with him)(and disney say you just wanna write more percabeth scenes)
I love the ‘if you dont know, i dont know either 😄’ mentality that percy has, he knows annabeth wants to be in charge now so he’s just feeding into the hubris
The augustus plot was so weird ngl but it was a great way to introduce the pan stuff

i had to sit and think because this one was so hard to narrow down. on a surface level i find all sorts of things about him endearing from his mannerisms to his speech patterns, but i think the thing that got me hooked on victor as a character was how emotionally demonstrative he is, particularly for a male protagonist. this also extends generally to his love for nature, for his friends, and his siblings (disregarding the incestuous implications of his relationship with elizabeth...)
i think this was only intensified for me when i started delving into frankenstein academic essays and analysis and then, by extension, the frankenstein fandom, and found that en masse it was people criticizing victor for just what interested me to him in the first place: being emotional, and therefore somehow melodramatic, overreacting, self-centered, egotistical, etc. it was this kind of climate of victor-hate that pushed me to make a tumblr account in the first place. someone had to be the sole victor defender in this barren wasteland

by far its waltonstein (robert x victor). im aware clervalstein is vastly more popular, and while im charmed by it in-canon i dont find most depictions of it to my taste. i don't see their relationship as wholly reciprocated–one-sided on walton's end–which is part of the reason why i like their dynamic so much: its established that walton romanticizes the unobtainable, chases the unknown, and that's why he hangs all his hopes on things he cannot feasibly reach. first becoming a famous poet and going down with the greats, then sailing to find the northern passage despite being an inexperienced captain, all the while hoping for this impossibly idealistic image of a companion who would be perfectly tailored to his interests and manners, and then, against all reason, he finds this in victor, wherein victor becomes an extension of this habit, who is dying and too hung up in the past and on martyring himself, because everyone who has grown close to him has been hurt for it, so he cannot love again, or at least in the way walton wants. yet victor still has a reciprocated interest and finds a friend in him, even shares the same sentiment of the importance of friendship, but like he says no man can "be to him as clerval was." its very much wrong place/time but the right person.
ive said this before but i think, too, that if victor had recovered and lived than walton may fall a little less in love with victor. their relationship was founded on their dynamic of sick/caretaker, and beyond that, victor would have already exhausted his story, so there's no air of mystery around him anymore–nothing for walton to glorify or romanticize. ultimately i think even if they had the best of intentions and loved each other, they could not have a healthy or fully mutual relationship, and part of the appeal to me is this tragedy!
24. What other character from another fandom of yours that reminds you of them?
im drawing a bit of a blank on this one because no other character encompasses just what victor Is to me, but theres a whole host of victor-esque characters i could name because he is the literal foundation for the mad scientist archetype. if i was pressed i think id say geoffrey tempest from sorrows of satan by marie corelli (beyond his blatant misogny), and i remember some parts of emil sinclairs early narration in demian by herman hesse reminded me of victor. lucifer/satan from paradise lost also, particuarly the bit where he says he cannot enjoy the beauty of earth for the suffering of his fall, but that almost feels like a cop-out answer.

angst to fluff ( i was gna make it pure angst but i rmbed how much i love this silly fellah)
You knew, you knew how much he hates clingy people. He hates it when people push him to open up. You knew that so well.
So you never asked him to open up, you kept telling yourself “its fine i will wait for him”.
But it was always you talking, always you starting the conversation and him playing along with it.
You were starting feel sick of hearing your own voice. How could anyone even like listening to me when i cant stand my own words?
It was always the same topics, food, video games and what is the next big adventure.
You look at xyx but you never see him.
He talks but never speaks.
He always manages to somehow make sure the mood is always upbeat, like sadness could never exist when he was around.
You sat on his bed with your head hung sadly. You were starting to feel sick and tired of how everything is going. You wanted more of him but you were afraid you would push him away. When did it became a crime to show him how much you love him? Were you being clingy, annoying or even selfish? These thoughts circled around your brain. You kept trying your best to be the partner he wanted. But do you even know who you are anymore?
As you were swamped with depressive thoughts, he walked in merrily. But stopped in his tracks when he saw you depressed.
“doll, is everything alright?” He asked with concern.
You were so tired of eveything, and this was the type of tired that cannot be cured with a nap. You couldnt even open your mouth to reply, the gravity of your feelings weighed you more than you could imagine.
You managed say silent as a whisper “I can’t do this anymore”.
Xyx eyes widened in surprised and he asked again “What?” in a quiet voice.
You looked at him, feeling terrible so you redacted your statement.
“Sorry, it was nothing.” you say quickly, trying wipe the tiredness of your heart with your hands.
“No it wasnt nothing, you said you cant do this anymore! Are you breaking up with me?” He asked with a slow pain forming in his heart.
“Answer me! Did i do something wrong? What is it?” He asked unable to be wait for your reply.
“I love you xyx” you said quietly and he looked taken back and a little calmer.
“But you put a distance between us, it’s always there. Im holding your hands yet i can feel an invisible wall between us. You push me away and i know you do. Maybe you are not comfortable being open with me or you dont want to take this relationship serious. You want to keep it light hearted. But im tired because i feel like im clingy and selfish if i ask more of you. I want to love you more but i always fear my love is suffocating. I know i can be too much, sometimes i wish i can have distance from myself too” You reply with your eyes looking to the floor. This was terribly difficult for you to admit, your insecurities to the person you love the most. You wanted to show your good sides, the best version of yourself.
Upon hearing you speak, xyx felt heart shatter. Thunderstorms brewed in his head. How could he have let you feel this way? Did he say you were clingy? How could his lover think that their love was suffocating? If anything it felt like warm fire engulfing them in a cold night. He sat next you quietly and pulled you into a hug.
“I’m sorry, my love.” With that sentence alone was enough to set you into a sobbing mess. You hugged him back and held his shirt tightly. You didnt want him to leave, not ever.
“I tried- i tried so hard so you would keeping being in love me, but i dont even know who i am anymore” You say in between sobs. He looked into your eyes wiping your tears.
“There, there. I know, i know you try harder than anyone for me. Im sorry i left you feeling like you werent enough. That you think it would be clingy for you to ask me to talk more about myself or that you thought i was playing with you. I am so sorry, doll. I just wanted you to be happy when you were around me so i kept pushing off the more serious matters. I didnt want you to feel sad about my past. I love you enough to be vulnerable with you. I love you more than that too. It was a terrible habit of mine and it made you feel inadequate. I am sorry.” He said sincerly.
“Tell me if you had a bad day, ask me to be there for you. Dont take it all on your own. I dont care if your ‘ruining the moment’ or whatever. If you are sad, i want to know. I feel terrible knowing i was happy when you werent. I want to be there for you” You say with the words getting all choked up in your throat.
“I know, i know doll. I’m sorry, I’ll do better from now. But i could tell you the same thing, please dont try to be perfect for me. You can show me who you are and i will still love you. Love is a choice and i would choose you a million times, no wait a trillion? what was the largest number again? zillionth times.” He says with a chuckle. His joke earned a smile from you.
“What I’m trying to say is, if you want more of me, i will give you more. But you should give me more of you too. I want you to tell me before you get tired like this, okay doll?” He says quietly, looking into your eyes with adoration and warmth.
“Yes” You say before falling into his chest and hugging him back. He thinks you’re adorable when you shy away from his eyes.

🤝re rons arc!!! IDK what your thoughts about it are but i found the way it was resolved very uncompelling </3 especially re: Terry having to act responsible for Ron (which is!! pretty bad for a kid to do no matter how much their guardian loves them!!)
like, its interesting that the problem was there, I just wish theyd acknowledge it more instead of treating it as resolved.

Okay. Reading from it meta textually you could really say its from tower of terry that they really began to transition from simple comedy podcast to dramedy. Consequently, its the arc where in trying to find that new balance for the show's settling focus that results in the most (to me) tonal dissonance. The rest of the podcast gets its footing for the right amount of being seriously unserious and unseriously serious through tower of terry, but Ron unfortunately sort of gets left in a limbo where the unhappy middle-ground is far too light hearted for tower of terry, and far too dark for the everything with his anchor.
I would honestly pinpoint this interaction as the root of the problem and what kickstarts everything im going to be complaining about with Ron's arc:
Its a silly one liner for a comedic podcast, yet in the context of the story, Ron is being abjectly cruel and has retraumatized his kid. Nothing of consequence happens except terry flipping him off and storming away. To briefly compare: Next arc they come up with a jokey plan to put grant in the minotaur to kill it. Darryl pays the full weight of that action with grant coming out completely traumatized for the rest of the series. As the tone of the narrative changes, the same actions now have different weights of importance. It could be interesting if this was used to serve a purpose narratively, but frustratingly, its more like Ron slipped through the narrative cracks and landed out of bounds, going over the negative amount of points to glitch over to the maximum like some sort of game exploit and now he never has to pay the piper.
But puting the meta aside, even more maddening is how Ron wins Terry over in tower of terry.
What does Rons father not being proud of him have to do with Terry's grief? How is Ron telling Terry he loves him in this moment impactful, when hes the person whos hurt him in the first place? What sucks to me is that this is the first moment of many where every emotional moment between these two it's all always centered on Ron and his trauma and leading to Terry becoming the one who has to take on the role of being the mature one in the dynamic and providing support to ron and becoming his emotional crutch. Like you said anon if this was explored or addressed it could've definitely been interesting except that unfortunately the creators never even saw it as a conflict to resolve in the first place seeing as the narrative itself perceives it as something positive .
To touch briefly on Ron and his father: i dont think this story is equipped to handle the heavy subject it envokes. Uncomfortable subjects have lots of merit to explore or examine, but this story uses it more as hurt for the sake of hurt. Me tearing up and feeling upset from this isnt because im being moved, it's because its touching nerves and to put harshly, doing cheap emotional signals.
I truly dislike how Ron either unintentionally by the character or the player steps on and uses Terry for his growth. Rons trauma overshadowing Terrys struggle in his grief, Terry having to put his own trauma aside for Ron, basically forgiving Rons for the pain hes caused him because Rons being abused is incredibly dissatisfying to me. A lot things in their relationship to me is deeply unearned.

One Piece Live Action Thought
I just finished with the live action serie and here is some of my thoughts:
The good:
Wierd characters designs.
I love how the kept it and didnt turn it into a joke how wierd people dressed at times.
Or changing it to make them look cooler or more normal.
Mihawk still has his wierdly shaped facial hair.
Merrys has his horns and Kujo has his poop suit.
Handeling of arc.
I like how the mixed the arcs together more so it wasnt as spontaneous were they sailed towards. There was a goal for the crew.
It kinda felt like how dressrosa- wano was like.
Buggy
He was great. Actually pretty scary here. He is still silly and I can see that if they kept him as the comic relief he is like in the original might not have gone as well in live action.
The natrual:
Luffys personality.
He is more down to earth in the live action. And wholesome and not as carefree like in the original. He isnt unloveble, I just love the "oh, hes little fucked up actually" feel he has in the original.
But seeing a real person act the way original Luffy does could be irritating?
Zoros personality.
He has the current personality.
I do love it. But Im sure Im not the only one that wished he had his old east blue personality. Where he laugh at Luffys antics and was messing around himself.
and then after fighting Mihawk he could have gotten more serious after realising the distans that was between him and the greatest.
The bad:
Garp
He went from the good, to natrual, to bad.
He was good with the execution. While it was odd why he would be the one to order the execution, I could see it him getting the 'honor' for capturing Gol D Roger.
And when he got the call to investigate seashell towns burglary was also nice. Even if it was wierd that Garp would be the one to investigate it when he dont operate in East blue.
But I guessed that he was on his way to visit Windmill Village and because he was of high rank and close he was asked to go there.
But then he was going to hunt down the strawhats and it just seemed out of the place so Garp ended up on natural for me.
But after that the more he was seen the more I disliked him being there.
He just didnt seem like Garp to me.
Like he was frustrated that Mihawk didnt catch him??
Is this really Garp we talking about?
And consider Oda was against adding Garp this early on is proof that its right that he doesnt fit.
And with having Garp be introduced as Luffys granpa already and having him do the throwing canon ball scene just made it seem like Netlix had already decided they wont to the entire serie.
So they did the cool scenes now so its done.
Mihawks Personality
I dislike listening to him. He sounded so snobby.
I liked his "Im bored, tired and nothing excites me anymore" personality in the original serie.
You never know where he stand on any subject. He is a morally gray character that did think what he felt like at the moment.
But in the live action he sounded like he looked down at everyone. And how did he know Luffy was garps grandson?? Wasnt that suppose to be a secret from everyone?!
No Loguetown
I was bit dissipointed that there were no Loguetown.
Maybe the Garp part took up too much time so they didnt have time with the last island.
I just assumed they would make the entire East Blue saga in this season.
And have them sailing towards the reverse mountain as the cliffhanger.

Nothing special, another 'hey i hate Mod so much' thing. Was Mod the one that did something weird at the party? Second one: Kitku animated um... Im not sure what? going along with the popular 'suns is treated like a god in their colony' headcannon, i dont think suns liked being worshiped - but, i do think he misses it. he knows it wasnt healthy, but he still does. this isnt me saying he wants moon to worship him, No, he Doesn't . and i mean that. slash serious. in my headcanon, moon's colony was religious too, but unlike suns' 'we can indulge in wordly pleasures as long as suns is ok with it and as long as its for him', there were more monks there. didn't starve themseleves, no, but. they did deprive themselves of lifes joys n shit . like the typical ancient. so. nothing irregular.
i think they'd date before the events of the main game
they meet through pebbles, maybe. suns mentions talking to pebbles not long after he was activated in one of the broadcasts in spearmasters campaign. maybe when pebbles talked about moon, how he wanted to be independent n all that, he went and spoke to moon herself.
and! while he understood pebbles' frustration. i think. m. he foud moon's kindness comforting. sweet lady. i headcanon them to be somewhat of a group senior, too, though maybe like.. not the oldest. moon gen1, suns gen2, smth. so. i think he'd find her comforting. and. he'd keep talking to her.
he'd maybe mention it once to pebbles, but wouldn't mention how their friendship is turning into a romantic one !! though like. qpr. ive got so many thoughts on how iterators perceive relationships you dont even know... like, i think the lines are blurry for them, what is platonic and what romantic. so i think it's not comparable to any relationship any human being has had.. though, maybe.. in the neolithic age n shit.. broken femur... "life is cruel but i'll stand by you and love you even when you're doing bad" n shit. whateverrr no one look at me. though efel free to ask me about my thoughts on the iterator relationships:3
so !! so . i think. moon would find him silly. she'd be happy pebbles has someone as kind as him as a friend, tutor.. . she'd see that suns is hurt, that they're depressed, don't see much point in trying to find the solution, but still try, because, what else is there to do? i think she'D try to help them see the joy in life. and maybe she'd succeed a bit. but, you can't drag a person out of depression on your own, ya know? not to say moon doesn't have her own problems - she also defineely has some kind of depression, i'd bet all iterators do, even if they don't know it. they've got mental illnesses we can't even fahtom.
so !! m. i also think they'd just be silly. moon would give a lot to the relationship, but, she's bad at setting boundaries, yea? like. take the whole pebbles thing as an example. she didn't force communicattions until she absolutely had to . i think she lets a lot of things slide, but, she's not oblivious! she just. i dont knowww i dont wanna mischaracterize her. shes not stupid. shes not dumb. she tells suns if he goes too far. but i dont think she's mean about it. moon never kills the slugcat. i don't think she'd ever really get angry with him - upset, yes, but she understands what he's going through.. and, as group seniour, even though they're not in the same group (but considers him part), wants to help him get better.
i don't think it'd be interely healthy, but, it'd be interesting! like. like. when you're climbing out of depression, you sometimes latch onto something that brings you joy soo much that you don't even care about the side effects. like. you don't fcare if you're depriving yourself of sustance, you don't care if you're harming yourself or the thing, or if the thing is harming you, you don't care if its unhealthy. it brings you joy! and joy is so hard to come by. for me, at least. this is filled with so much projection and self indulgence if u couldnt tell lol
but. they do love each other! they care for each other!! suns isnt using her, and moon isnt stupid and ignoring his faulst ! she knows they are there! but she trusts he'll get better. and suns hopes he will, too.
he'd help moon, too. he'd listen to her frustrations, encourage her to share her feelings. and she would. i dont think suns would know how to help her, really, but he'd listen - and sometimes, even that is rlly helpful.
he sends spearmaster to her, one cycle, with a pearl. an engagement:) old ancient way, exchanging jewelry.
he feels even shittier when the main events of the game happen. because. they weren't publically engaged/married/dating/qpr/whatever the fuck theyve got going on. so he can't. talk about it that much. he does tell nsh eventually n they're like, "why didnt you tell us. like literally its fine. i get pebbles would be upset, but, its fine" . and. m.
so. relationships were tabboo in ancient culture, yes? ties you down to the cycle, turns you into an echo and shit. karma three, family and friendship. moon wouldn't be as aprehensive - she knows the local group wouldn't shun them, or at least would come around eventually. but she respects suns' boundary !! i think. he'd be scared. that the ancients would be disapointed in him or something. that iterators would shun and hate him.

She didn’t do much at the beginning even though she could see that you are in a bad state
But it eventually got worse so she couldn’t look at it any longer

She can relate a bit when it comes to not taking care of themselves
But she needed a bit more unlike these two to realise that you aren’t feeling good
Wether its someone telling her or her getting the hint herself
Also would take action asap
Aaaaaand is also insecure about her cooking remembering the incident with teru
But she would be really good at motivating you

„We can do our homework at my place! I have a cute hamster at home!“
Was scared the first time you punched someone

Would never get used to it

She kinda likes to bandage you up instead of you going to the nurses office

She pushed you away
And you were a bit shocked at what she was about to say
„Besides.you can always punch hanako if you feel like it! That jerk deserved it anyway…“
You couldn’t help yourself but to just laugh at her silly remark

since everyone refuses to keep comparing me to ashe bradley... that wicked man..... i am here to explain our similarities and differences. i am sure that you will find that ashe and i are in fact complete opposites, and nothing like each other.
similar
- we both have little sibling who we hang out with a lot and have silly argument with
- we both wanted to be some sort of doctor at some point when we were younger (when i was in like 6th grade i wanted to be a psychologist.. not anymore though)
- generally considered smart by other people our age
- sometime help other people study + people ask for help with school
- read book
- both of our birthdays are on the 14th of their respective month
- wear chinese clothes (sometimes) (maybe)
- nosy
- want to know everything
- um ok maybe we have more in common than i thought
- can play the piano (i can play a little i want to play more though)
- love pasta
- if my family died i would be very sad
- we both try to act without hesitate
- we both have a staring problem and probably stare too long at people
- aware of the fact that acting while only using your emotions/heart/feelings as reasoning can be a little foolish and can get you into serious trouble, however.... there is also difference here but i will say later
um okay actually that is a frightening amount in common BUT. ACTUALLY WE ARE OPPOSITES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AND NOTHING SIMILAR. AND HERE IS WHY
- about emotions thing.. ashe uses his head and thinks very logically. however, usually i prefer to listen to my heart especially when making important decisions, and even though i know thinking emotionally rather than logically can and has caused me to hurt, i think listening to my gut feeling and my heart rather than my brain has also given me a lot of happiness and i just prefer to listen to it than use my head, even though that would probably save my heart, also it would make me feel really bad inside and anyway overall i just use my heart over my head majority of the time even though i know i probably shouldn’t i just can’t help it i love people too much

- anyways my hair short his hair long.. also i have black hair
- i do not research witches
- my eyes are not yellow
- i have 0 idea how to cook
- i dont know how to use knives
- unlike ashe who thinks people like claire and noel are dumb for using their heart over their head (haha) (sorry) i actually think that even though yeah it can be dumb to do that sometimes but also i think it’s a very emotionally strong move especially for like noel who KNOWS that he could just kill everyone except claire to grant his wish logically but who refuses to do so because it goes against his morals and his heart because i don’t think being kind to others and thinking in emotional terms rather than logical is an inherently stupid trait, yeah they can be dumb sometimes (especially claire..) but i think it speaks to their emotional strength that they’re able to listen to their hearts and are always kind and forgiving to others

- his theme color is green and if i was in a game mine would probably be pink because its my favorite color

- hes way taller than me hes 5′10 and im like 5′0
- he causes conflict with like everyone except claire throughout the whole game but i tend to click with people pretty easily.. i think unless everyones been lying to me
- he’s 27 and i am not

you try and joke with him to lift his mood but nothing helps
you fall asleep on video call with one another and when he thinks youre asleep he confesses
"sleeping angel.. i love you.."
you have to pretend to still be asleep despite hearing him or else hed never acknowledge it
when youre ready you can approach him and ask about it
until then though you can expect him to keep protecting you from a distance
