What if the turtles were in the pokemon world? And what if they were never turtles, but in fact, mutated pokemon? What if they lived in the Castelia sewers of Unova instead of New York?

Meet my Rise/Pokemon AU!! Waaaah this has been on my mind for MONTHS now. Pokemon is that one fixation that'll never leave me. I'm THAT pokemon fan that knows WAAAAY too much about the games and lore. For those that don't know,

Raph is Drednaw

Leo is Wartortle

Mikey is Torkoal

Donnie is Lapras

Yes. They are all shiny. I started with raph, since him as drednaw is pretty much a no brainer. The shiny form fit too well with him and his color scheme. Than I realized if I made him shiny, I had to make the other bros shiny as well so THEY ALL SHINY. (draxum shiny hunter confirmed?) Also dual rock typing fits well with raph's character.

Wartortle for leo was also a pretty obvious choice. I MEAN LOOK AT HIM. Long flowy tail? Yes please. I had to keep his markings somehow. Wartortle has little dark cheek spots, so I just changed them to be leo's markings. Water typing leo. Go with the flow, think on the spot, it worked out too well.

Torkoal for Mikey was another easy one. Fire turtle? Passionate, warm, also DANGEROUS (he can be a menace ok) Say no more. His powers in rise are already pyro related. Also having him shiny helped a lot with the color scheme. Torkoal is normally orange so having mikey be the yellow shiny form meant I didn't have to mess with his mask colors

Donnie on the other hand....OHHH BOI I STRUGGLED WITH YOU. I went through 4 DIFFERENT POKEMON, before deciding on the least turtle like of them all. I am aware that we do have a softshell pokemon with enamorous, but it's a legendary so thats not happening. But it was really important for me to keep donnie's soft shell and battle shell. I wanted this to be a RISE au and donnie's battle shell is pretty tied into his character. (there's also tirtouga which I almost went with, but I didn't like that both he and raph shared the exact same dual typing) Soooo, Lapras. Its more of a loch ness monster but it also draws inspiration from a placochelys (prehistoric seaturtle esque species) so IM COUNTING IT. Very unconventional but I have my reasons. Ice typing is a good offensive type, but is pretty bad defensively. Which ties into rise donnie's fighting style. If I wasn't a coward, I wouldve made donnie the biggest of the bros. Since lapras is like 8 feet tall compared to the others being like 1-3 feet. But uhhh, I swear I have an in universe explanation for why he's so small ok.

And than there's April. She is not a pokemon trainer in this au. At least not in the traditional sense. I've been with pokemon for all of my 26 years of life, and I always wanted to know what the normal people of the pokemon world are up to. Not everyone is out here collecting gym badges, travelling, or catching them all. How do non-trainers interact with the pokemon world? So that's where I'm at with April. She will get a pokemon partner, but other than that, she's just an average high schooler who befriended the turtles from a young age and takes part in all their shenanigans. I took some design elements from rosa and hilbert with her outfit, but otherwise its pretty much the same.

We'll see how far I'll take this. I've been using this as a break from my many other projects, but like everything I do, it grew too many legs and is slowly becoming its own thing.

It feels weird to write this with a romantic relationship so Im going to make this plutonic.

Raph Leo Donnie and Mikey finding out there are the readers old pet.

🐢 Anime boy backstory 🐢

Before Draxum started the mutation process, before he got ahold of Splinter, he needed some actual test subjects. You where an average New Yorker, you went to school and had a part time job and even had some unique pets that you where very attached to.

A alligator snapping turtle, a softshell, a red eared slider and a little box turtle. Draxum took interest in you because of your pets. Huginn and Muninn where sent out to find the perfect animals to mutate, that's when you where targeted by him.

On your way home from a trip to the vet to check up on your little guys health you got jumped. There was no possible way to get out but you where not about to leave your pets. You tried to run but after being picked up by Draxum's vines you got thrown against a wall, passing out. When you woke up your beloved pets where gone.

Raphael

★ He was the one who tracked you down after Draxum told him he once was someone's pet. It was kinda awkward expanding everything to you but after introducing himself you immediately pulled him in for a hug.

★ He kinda gets protective of you. But not from other people! Just in general, you took care of him when he was small. It's only fair that he does the same for you.

★ You and Raph end up being the responsible ones in there little family. The difference between getting in trouble with You instead of Raph is that you always lecture them for at least an hour. Also you get to say stuff like "I raised you better than this."

★ You get invited to every family movie night and everyone fights over who gets to sit next to you because you always cuddle with the closest person. turtle?

Leonardo

★ The reaction he had was similar to the one in in the gif above ⬆️. Yes, he was a plane old turtle once but it took him by surprise when it came out that he was a pet.

★ He's a total lap dog towards you, and only you. There's no getting out of it. He'd walk up to you and plop himself down on your lap and look up. You always give in and give him shell stitches. It's not weird if it's from you, okay!

★ His brothers collectively agree that you are now basically his babysitter. He gets into a fair amount of trouble, imagen Raphael saying "if you don't stop I'm telling y/n!" Or being the one who now yells at him after making bad discussions instead of raph.

Donatello

★ Blank face before quietly saying "What?" He knew that he was just a regular softshell but surprisingly he never thought about where he came from before getting mutated.

★ He gives you random tests on your knowledge of softshell turtles. Like you could be folding laundry and he'd just say "what is the proper temperature for a softshell turtle enclosure?" He does this to try and figure out if you where a good pet owner. He's come to the conclusion that you where a pretty good pet owner.

★ He wonders about what could've happened if Draxum never stole him and his brothers from you. Things could've turned out way differently, the thought comes back to him every once I awhile.

★ You know things about him that nobody else knows, like where he likes to be pet on his shell. But he refused to believe you without any proof. He is only slightly embarrassed when you demonstrate for him.

Michelangelo

★ *New parent acquired* He got really excited and asked a ton of questions. Did you get him from a pet store? How much did he cost? Do you still have his old habit??? He needs to know theses things!

★ If you have any photos of him and is brothers as regular turtles he's going to ask for copy's. Don't tell anyone but he's working on a family album in his free time.

★ You are now his older sister figure, no you aren't getting out of it. He comes to you when he needs help or has a problem with something or someone. He says that he inherited your kindness even though it doesn't work that way.

★He lowkey love's it when you pamper him like he is still your pet turtle. Doesn't matter if he's a big guy now! He wants chin scratches and lap pillows. Also he makes Draxum apologize for what he did to you.

Primal Moon Turtles

I thought for a while as to what instincts and behavior Raphael has to be amplified by be the Primal Moon, and I though- the big guy is pretty doting, isn’t he? He definitely adores all his siblings, trying his best to keep them all safe and healthy. He even has a baby voice he uses with them. (I love this guy so much.)

So, when viridescence plagues him and strips away all inhibitions, his nurturing traits are boosted by damn near triple. Raph goes from reasonably worried about his loved ones to being outright paranoid.

Forget “you can’t go on a mission alone”, he shifts to “Is that a knife, Y/N?! In your hand?! Put it down before you cut all your fingers off!” very quickly. (It was a butter knife.)

As an alligator snapping turtle, Raph also gains a serious fondness for soaking underwater and burying himself in mud, constantly submerging himself for longer and longer periods of time. Eventually, the family sends you out to coax him back onto land, offering cuts of meat and cuddles to get him to stop nearly drowning himself.

Sitting behind him as he eats, scrubbing newly grown algae off his shell with one of those bristle brushes as he squirms around happily.

Leonardo’s desire to establish himself as someone worthy of attention and admiration takes a notably nasty turn, leading him to grow outright aggressive. Often tries to pick fights, especially with people who interact with Y/N.

Instead of merely showing off, now he stalks through the corridors of the sewers picking fights with anything that passes by. (Boy is out here throwing hands with driftwood.)

It usually falls to Raph to drag the red-eared slider back home, resorting to physical restraints and taped on headphones with soothing music to try and keep him from lashing out violently.

And then he wakes up covered in bruises and cuts from his fights, praying that he didn’t try to attack his family this time, too.

Horrible situation, all around.

Out of every mutant and yōkai in ROTTMNT, Donatello is one who hates the Primal Moon the most. For him, every cycle heaps him with a massive dose of genuine insecurity and self-hatred, feeling pathetic and stupid.

His faculties sort of… regress? But his personality stays the same, bearing a genuine desire to make and create. Instead of machinery or tech, though… he’s sitting cross-legged on the ground, grinding rocks into spearheads and binding them to long sticks.

Softshell turtles are hunters, after all.

Donnie’s diet switches almost entirely to fish he’s personally caught, and he starts to bed on sand and sunbathe for warmth. Also, lots of swimming.

Y/N and Mikey are the only two people who can reliably get close to him during one of his ‘hunting moods’, anyone else receiving a sharp snap of his jaws.

Of course, being able to draw near that doesn’t that he’s going to let you pull away.

Poor boy gets emotional, and big time. Given that Ornate Box Turtles are pretty docile and placid, Michelangelo has the least trouble during the Primal Moon’s rising. It also means that he’s the most lucid, capable of remembering each and every moment of trouble and fighting, verbal or physical.

Mikey often bunks down with Y/N through the week, relying entirely on them for support and comfort. He can’t do much but shudder in their arms, pretending that he can’t hear his brothers fighting or hunting.

This boy needs you so damn bad that it hurts. He’ll cling tight, arms and legs wrapped tightly around you to prevent your removal from his side. It’s not that he’s trying to be possessive- Mikey just wants you to stay out of the trouble and danger that his brothers are getting into.

His dietary preferences switch to be much more in line with his turtle half, eating grass and berries and squirmy pests. Donnie also supplies the younger turtle with cuts of freshly hunted fish. Doesn’t have much of a love for water, and actually prefers to move around on dry land.

The easiest to deal with, bar none.

Not Quite Hidden AU: part 2. Word count: 397. Readers chose: be awkward.

“Where did you get your children?” Draxum asks. The ferret stares at him with an expression that can only be described as horror, his tail twitching spastically. Perhaps that wasn’t the… best response. Well, too late now.

“That’s—I—none of your business!” The ferret settles on, gnashing his teeth.

Okay, now that’s just uncalled for. It’s not like Draxum’s trying to start a fight here, he just needs to know. “Yeesh, no need to get aggressive. It was just a question.”

Somehow, that only serves to make the yokai angrier. He pins his ears back. “Raphael, Michelangelo, come here.” The ferret speaks slowly, tensely. “We aren’t done shopping yet, remember?”

“But he has arm spikes! Like me!” The largest—Raphael?—whines loudly, and latches onto Draxum’s train again, yanking on the fabric. If he manages to tear it…

The ferret’s fur puffs up. “Raphael, now.” This guy must be pissed to do that in public.

“I don’t wanna!” the child shrieks. Ouch, that was loud. “He’s cool and I like him!”

The other turtle—Michelangelo, probably—nods fiercely, and wraps his arms around Draxum’s leg, either ignorant or oblivious to how Draxum tenses at the contact. “Donnie’s it now, I’m staying away from him!”

The softshell shakes his head rapidly and points to the slider, who gasps. “Oh, right!” He springs forward, and the turtles clinging to Draxum squeal in affected fear.

“Can’t get me now, Leo, he’s a safe zone!”

“Nu-uh, you can’t just call safe zone like that! And he smells too weird!”

The turtles bounce and argue, clicks and hisses spewing out between their words, and two of them are still touching him. Why are they still touching him? This is bewildering.

The ferret yokai puts a hand over his mouth, his fur suddenly going flat. “Boys, no—I am so sorry, they’re usually better behaved than this—boys!”

His last shout comes a second too late, right after the slider jumps to tackle his brother and misses, slamming himself into Draxum’s lower leg. He grunts in pain, and barely manages not to kick out or lose his balance.

“Boys. What have I told you about rough-housing while we’re grocery shopping?!” The ferret hisses sharply. The turtles hang their heads in shame—minus the softshell, who hasn’t moved and doesn't appear to think himself in trouble.

“To not to,” they chorus collectively.

The ferret sighs heavily. “I… apologize for their behavior.”

List of ROTTMNT headcanons/rando ideas I will maybe draw!

Disaster Twins edition!

Okay, so I personally think they could be actual twins and canon could explain it as a mutation effect do it you cowards-

Donnie and Leo share a brain cell, Donnie just hoards it 99% of the time. But that 1% of the time Leo has it is beautiful (chaotic).

They absolutely could finish each other’s sentences, and sometime do without realizing it.

As tots they could practically read each others mind, and while they can’t as much anymore if one is asking for something but can’t remember what it’s called the other will know what the other needs.

If they tried hard enough. They could use twin telepathy. They stopped doing it after Leo used it to rickroll Donnie for three hours straight.

If they were to switch weapons they would be able to use the others weapon easily, its a twin thing.

They always dress identically without trying too. Sometimes they shrug it off and go with it. Other times they’re like “well one of us has to change.”

Leo is the only person that has the honor, nay the privilege, to touch Donnie’s softshell without having to ask. He also has the privilege to rest on it during turtle piles.

They can sing any Brittney spears song from memory flawlessly.

Leo most definitely came across a softshell turtle cooking video, watched it in absolute horror, and proceeded to latch onto Donnie for the rest of the week. (Totally not something I did-)

As the taller twin Leo has claimed the older twin role. In reality they hatched at the exact same time.

Donnie only denies being Leo’s twin as a front, people can’t know he has… feelings (dramatic gasp). Leo knows this and likes the “arguments” over whether their twins or not just so he can saw random not facts to make Donnie mad.

In the apocalyptic future of the ROTTMNT movie, Leo felt when Donnie died. It was like a part of him was suddenly missing. He was likely in battle when it happened, and that feeling made him collapse and break down in the middle of the fight. Needless to say he was not surprised when April gave him the news, just saying “I already knew… its a twin thing. Was a twin thing…”

Alternatively, when Leo sacrificed himself and was trapped in the prison dimension Donnie felt a similar feeling. While it wasn’t as bad as it would’ve been had Leo died, it still left Donnie feeling hollow inside.

And since I can’t end this on angst-

As Turtle Tots, Leo found out about conjoined twins and wanted in. It took a bit of convincing, but after claiming it would be a fun experiment, talked Donnie into make a machine to fuse them together. They were conjoined at the hip for a month because someone (*cough* Mikey *cough*) ‘accidentally’ used the machine as a chew toy. Donnie still has that machine, for research. Obviously.

He Didn't Want To Make It Messy

🜺 It was a normal tussle with Meat Sweats

🜺 Well...as normal as those fights usually are

🜺 Meat Sweats giant meat pounder packs a nasty punch

🜺 It usually just leaves the turtles with a nasty bruise and a sore spot

🜺 But it's much more dangerous for humans, after all, they're much more fragile in Donnies opinion, they have no shell, no plastron, so superhuman mystic healing properties

🜺 Meat Sweats blindly swung around his meat pounder as Mikey blinded him, they were herding him into an alleyway where they could, theoretically, kick his ass. You were teasing Rupert, he reached forward and knocked you with his meat pounder, spikes first. You were launched back into a brick building, a wet squelch heard during impact. Donnie immediately rushed to you, multiple broken ribs, a broken arm, a nasty concussion, and a your spine was definitely bruised. Not to mention if there was any internal damage to your organs. He stared at you for a second before looking at Meat Sweats. He was herded into the alleyway, Leo immediately rushed to you and as the team medic started looking over your wounds. Raph grabbed Mikey who had been choked out by Meat Sweats and rushed to Leo, demanding he opened a portal. Donnie was shaking with anger, grabbing his tech bō he launched foreword and started beating Meat Sweats head in, slamming it into the ground with his tech bō, he turned and started using the sharp side where he stabbed Meat Sweats in the head. Leo and Raph would both like to forget the squelching noises that echoed in the alleyway, how their brother walked over to them, his tech bō and himself painted red. they’d also like to forget the strings of pink on the wall that mixed with the blood, bone scattered the floor. How Donnie never blinked, how he even sent his tech to clean up the evidence they were ever there. A part of their brother got revealed to Leo and Raph that day..and honestly? They hope to never see it again. The guttural hiss that came from Donnie as he killed Meat Sweats terrorize their dreams.

Raph finds out because the hidden city police have a connection to the galactic federation. Raph still trying to find out where Donnie came from actually finds out where Donnie came from.

He sees the articles about the mad scientist and that describes the dangerous abomination. How it pretended to be just a dumb animal before breaking out of a high-security transport vehicle and is now on the loose. The federation preparing to send in its creator to capture it since he is the only one who could possibly capture such a cunning and destructive creature.

It even shows a picture of the security footage of his escape. Donnie laughed maniacally as the guard cowered before him, gun in each of his four arms, quills raised up his spine, and mask tails raised like antennas.

A living weapon that was created to destroy, and Raph let it into his house with his younger brothers. Raph remembers all the instances of Leo saying something was off with Donnie and all the things Donnie supposedly did. And Raph didn't believe him. All of his time facing villains and criminals Raph has never known such dread.

Raph practically races home to make sure Mikey and Leo are still… okay. He calls the house several times but no one picks up. Raph goes even faster.

The entire time Raph can't help but think this isn't fair. How could someone make something like this? To knowingly make it look like a kid so people let it into their homes. The fact it was all fake is painful enough. Like he's already lost a member of his family.

When Raph gets home he sneaks in, not wanting to alert Donnie. It's so quiet. Where's the usual sound of his brothers laughing and playing? The fighting as a prank or joke gone too far that he needs to break up? He hears a movie playing in the living room. He peeks in and sees… a turtle pile?

a large pile of pillows and covers on the floor as the movie plays unwatched. Mikey is using Leo's legs as a footrest while his back and arms are flailed out. Leo is lying chest down on a large lump of covers, practically hugging it. Raph is about to panic at the lack of "softshell" when he notices a familiar snout poking out of the covers.

Raph doesn't know if he wants to laugh or cry. The whole way here he was worried about Donnie possibly hurting his brothers, and here he is letting Leo practically drool all over him. Leo, who has been suspicious of Donnie since the very beginning, let his guard down enough to fall asleep.

One thing is clear to Raph looking at Donnie right now. He may have been made for destruction, but that's not all he's capable of. Not anymore at least.

Raph looks tiredly at the sleeping Donnie. "It was Mikey that got to you, wasn't it? He has that effect on people." As expected, there was no answer besides quiet snores.

Raph can feel a headache forming. Why do these kids have to make everything so complicated? There's no way he can just capture Donnie and turn him over, but he's not going to let this continue without telling Leo and Mikey. Tomorrow they'll have a family meeting, tell each other everything, and figure things out from there.

But first, Raph is way too exhausted to be awake right now and that turtle pile looks awfully inviting. He flops onto the covers and pillows and drifts off himself.

When Raph first mentions finding where Donnie comes from Donnie doubts he actually found out about him. Meanwhile, Leo and Mikey think he found Donnie's real family, and Donnie's going to have to leave. They're crying and hanging on to an annoyed Donnie while telling him to call them and visit. Raph just trying to get them to listen for a few seconds because guys that's not what he's trying to say.

Mikey gives Donnie an album full of pictures of their time together so he doesn't forget them. The cover is a hand-drawn portrait of their family with Donnie in it. Mikey knows there's no chance of getting Donnie to sit still for a family photo.

Leo's favorite is a picture of Donnie's face scrunched up as he's sprayed in the face with a water bottle like a misbehaving cat.

The constant camera in his face is how Donnie learns to record everything. They find out and try to explain this is different, but Donnie just doesn't get it.

Once Raph gets them calmed down enough to explain Leo is mostly baffled at how Donnie can hide two extra arms "like a morbid jack in the box."

Mikey's just relieved that since he's an alien and doesn't have any family on Earth that means they get to keep him.

Donnie: I suppose my creator could technically be seen as a parental unit.

Leo: Yeah, but we said on Earth.

Donnie: Again, my creator.

Raph remembers reading about the creator being sent to hunt the creation: Oh no.

Alright guys, it's that time again. It's time for me to make completely unhinged in-depth theories on cartoon shows based on comic lore.

Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Edition!

If you are unfamiliar with this series then congrats! You get to listen to the, hopefully entertaining, ramblings of a mad man.

But! If you, like me, binge watched this series and are now left with a burning hole in your chest wondering when season three will come out then congrats! You also get to listen to the ramblings of a mad man, this time with slightly more context!!!

One of the burning questions everyone was left with in the wake of Rottmnt and the movie was "who are the other two turtles?" See, Rise from its very inception had always intended on introducing two more turtle siblings to Raph, Leo, Donnie and Mikey's family dynamics. This inclusion can be seen as early as season one when there are six turtle pods shown on screen during the boy's origin story.

We, in fact, actually see one of the missing sisters in season 2 of the show. The character dubbed 'Big Mama's Assistant' is confirmed by the show runners to be a secret sibling and, if they had been given a season three, they would have revealed this at the end of season 2. Season three would then have been focused on the Hamato clan retrieving the missing sisters.

But who is Big Mama's Assistant? Is she Venus De Milo, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle sister from the live action show? Is she Jennika, the turtle in yellow from the comics? Well I've got news folks. She's neither.

Tweets from the show runners confirm that Big Mama's Assistant was never intended to be Jennika or Venus, she was instead going to be an original character.... or was she?

Guys, gals and nonbinary pals, I submit to the court that Big Mama's Assistant is in fact an original character that is both an adaptation of Jennika and Venus.

First, let us establish some facts.

In the above images I would like you to acknowledge several things.

this sibling is in the height range of Donnie/Leo (as can be seen when compared to Big Mama's height).

this sibling has a thin shell, one that is barely noticeable under her clothes.

this sibling has a gigantic forehead.

this sibling wears a mask that shows markings that start at the eyes and wrap around the head.

this sibling's weapon of choice is neko-te.

Finally, this sibling seems to have two small fake turtle shells strapped to shoulder as shoulder pads.

So I raise the question: Who do we know that has a thin, barely visible shell, gigantic forehead, is approximately Donnie's height and wears prosthetic turtle shells? Donnie.

Yeah, folks I'm pretty sure this sibling is a softshell. She's wearing her own version of her 'battleshell' from her turtle tot days as shoulder pads. Actually, I'm pretty sure we see her green battleshell here:

It's the same face markings. And it's yellow. Objectively, they have to use yellow for one of the two sisters because they gave April green in Rise.

"Alright," I hear you saying. "So you think she's a softshell, but what does that have to do with who she is??"

What a perfect segway question! Thank you so much for asking. Did you guys know that Venus' name isn't actually Venus? Venus is the alias that she uses to fight crime/be a ninja with her brothers/fit their art theme. Venus' actual name is Mei Pieh Chi which translates to Beautiful Softshell Turtle Energy.

So it is actually ENTIRELY possible for Big Mama's softshell turtle assistant to be an adaptation of Mei Pieh Chi without being named Venus. If she simply picks a different alias then we're all good. (I'm assuming the creators liked 'Frida' because Smooth Softshell Turtles look like they have intense eyebrows)

Alright, so we've established how Venus fits into this (aka Venus doesn't, Mei Pieh Chi does) but what about Jennika!? Well that one is actually super easy. Yeah, so remember how the mystery sibling uses neko-te?

Yeah, uh, Jennika's main weapon is a neko-te/tekkō-kagi mash up. (Aka Wolverine claws) I'm assuming she would use magic neko-te until she eventually unlocked her ninpō and got the wolverine upgrade (mirroring how the boys switched weapons) I'm also assuming that she would inherit Jennika's color (yellow), Jennika's sexuality (lesbian) and it's confirmed that she would inherit Jennika's personality (see below).

(also I'mma call it right now, she's autistic and I love her. She's Very Very Serious ™ aka she takes everything literally)

And now let's take a look at what I call "The reason Big Mama and Draxum already knew and hated each other, got into an argument about stealing stuff from each other and the reason why Draxum waited 13 years to do the whole mosquito backup plan":

"No, it would’ve been sweet, right? Like, at the end we see, like, maybe Draxum’s bodyguard takes off their mask and, you know, reveals a female sibling, and then there was, like, another one 'cause we thought it’d be great to investigate, ‘Okay, like, Splinter was able to save four out of six and maybe we just didn’t see the other two and, like, what would that be if they were raised by Draxum and Big Mama?’ And this would be something Draxum would admit to them at the end of season two." - Executive Producer, Andy Suriano

Guys, Draxum in season one is a divorced dad who lost custody. He went with the backup plan after THIRTEEN YEARS because his kid said "Fuck you, I'm living at Mom's house!" Draxum threw Leo off of a roof because the goatman had PTSD from his daughter rejecting him and nOW SUDDENLY THERE'S FOUR NEW KIDS THAT HATE HIM?!

Also, let's circle back to the other sister being "a little kooky from being trapped in another dimension for years." You know what'd be traumatic enough to abandon your parent and completely reject them? If they got your sister stuck in another dimension with no way out. You know what'd be a super good reason for Draxum not telling the boys about their sisters? If he LOST ONE.

But where oh where did this lost sister go and who is she? Well, I've got more on that but you'll have to wait for part two because I am out of pictures!

Donnie x Reader Oneshot

Warnings: vague mental health issues if you squint hard enough, I've kept reader gender neutral, fluff, ooc Donnie ig.

Summary: You can't seem to shake the bad feelings that have been going through your head one night and just need to be with someone.

A/N: This isn't proofread and probably never will be. I mostly wrote this for myself because I've been going through some bad feels. I still wanted to make something for other people to read and maybe feel better as well.

To the story!

It was one of those nights. The feeling of dread and fear crawling through your chest like some slimey snake. It brought a chill to your bones.

Maybe forgoing your pants when you got into bed earlier wasn't the best decision. You clutch your pillow even closer to your front.

No matter what you did or whichever way you turned, you couldn't get comfortable enough. Couldn't shake the feelings from your brain. Couldn't sleep.

You reach for your phone for what feels like the hundreth time only to be disappointed with the screen shining 1:14am into your eyes.

The feelings in your chest only seem to be getting worse as the seconds go by. Memories you'd rather forget seem to all want to resurface to make the worse.

You could handle it anymore. You just needed someone, as much as you hated to admit it, even to yourself.

Gravity was fighting against you as you went to push yourself up from the too stiff mattress. Swinging your bare legs over the side of the bed, you sit there willing yourself to stand, the pillow still tight in your hold.

After a few minutes, you're able to slip off your bed, putting your weight on your feet to stand. Bare feet on the cold floor made a shiver go through you. That wasn't the last, though, as the shivers continued to shake your shoulders.

Finding your way through the lair was like second nature to you at this point, even if it is the dead of night. So you took to time at all to make it to Donnie's room.

You lightly knock out of habit before almost silently opening the door when you heard the stirring of a softshell on the other side.

A light glow of neon purple helping you to see your surroundings, you close the door shutting out the outside light.

Bringing your gaze up from the floor, you meet tired turtles sleepy gaze. Donnie had himself propped up with his hands behind him. The blanket seemed to have slipped down him when he sat up as some of it pooled around his waist and only covered one of his legs that were sprawled out in front of him. The other was hanging off the edge of the bed completely bare since he chose to only sleep in his usual black shorts.

"You need something?"

Donnie asked in a soft voice to coax you to speak.

You didn't realize how long you were standing there thinking of what to say until Donnie broke the silence.

"Need you." You spoke quietly. So quietly that he might not have heard you if it wasn't dead silent.

You realized how you might have looked. Like a child going to their parents' room saying they had a nightmare. The pillow clutched in your arms seemed to push that thought even more.

The sound of your voice must have told Donnie something because he was now fully awake and alert to whatever was happening.

"Okay, do you want to talk about it?"

You shook your head.

"Wanna lay with me?"

A pause before you give a short nod.

No more words were exchanged as Donnie scooted over to give you room to climb in which you gladly did.

Your pillow was still to your chest as you layed pressed to his. He didn't seem to mind as he laced the blanket over you both and wrapped his arms around you, one arm behind your shoulders and the other draped over your side. He placed his chin on your head and released a sigh that moved your hair slightly.

You're not sure what it was, whether it be the warmth of the blanket, the tightness of Donnie's hold on you, or just being with him, but everything seemed to spill out.

Your body tensed more, if that were even possible, and you pushed your face deeper into Donnie's colarbone. Your teeth clenched, and lips pulled together tight. Tears quickly started to gather in your eyes before falling down your face onto Donnie's skin.

You pressed into him more and he began rubbing his hand up and down your back and nuzzled into the top of your head. Your breathing became uneven and your shoulders continued to shake, bit it wasn't from the cold anymore.

No words were exchanged and you went on like this for some time before everything that you held in your chest was let out. You followed Donnie's breathing to help calm yourself down (something Mikey had taught you) and soon all your anxieties and cold feelings melted away leaving your body limp against Donnie's hold.

Feeling you had calmed down, Donnie places a soft kiss on your head. After a second, he pulls away just enough to free your face from his neck. This gave him enough space to continue his kisses on your face.

One to your forehead.

Then to the corners of your eyes. Ridding them of any stray tears.

One to the bridge of your nose.

One to your cheek.

And lastly, he ghosts one onto your lips before pulling away and placing his forehead against yours.

"I'm here with you."

It's whispered, and your nearly numb mind doesn't catch it, but it registers after another minute of silence.

Slowly, you move your hand from its spot on your pillow to lightly touch whatever part of Donnie you could reach first. To let him know that you're also there. No longer lost inside yourself, but laying with him in the moment.

He gently moves his head away to place it back atop yours and moves the hand around your shoulders to the base of your head to pull you closer to him.

He gives you one last squeeze, and let's out another sigh. You both relax into one another, sinking into the mattress.

With your mind and heart cleared and the comfort of the softshell around you, sleep begins to take hold, and your consciousness begins to fade, and eventually, you fall into a peaceful sleep.

WELL, I LIKE THE PROM IN THAT WAY

You need someone to take you to the prom and softshell turtle is here for help.

Author note: I'm sorry if I made grammatical mistakes, English isn't my first language ༎ຶ‿༎ຶ

Prom night was approaching. Everything was almost done. Except for one thing: Cavalier.

Two days left to the party and unfortunately, there is no one to take you to the prom. Why did everybody find their date at the beginning of the year? While thinking anxiously, you ripped off the skin near the nail with your teeth.

"Hey, what's that anxious aura?" Leo pressed the skateboard with his foot and caught it in the air.

"I'm just worried about prom."

Now you caught all turtle brothers attention. Perfect.

"Prom? Where you dance to music with your friends?"

You nodded. "Yep Mikey."

"Aaah, Doctor Feelings loves the prom so muuuuch!" Mikey crossed his hands on top of his chest.

"Oooh, and don't you choose queen and king end of the night?" (You could see reflection of he is imagining himself sitting at the throne in his eyes.)

"Prom..." You turned your head to the purple turtle when you heard his muttering. His eyes were shining and eyebrows had lifted.

When he felt your eyes on him, he cleaned his throat and looked another way. Classic Donnie, trying to act like irrelevant, bad boy behavior.

There was no one who didn't know that he loved school so much. He always finds reason to come to school.

Like one day you just texted him "I lost my cat eraser ;-;" After 2 seconds he was holding a new eraser (Purple. Purple eraser.) And stayed for the whole day.

"Hey D. Do you want to go to the prom with me?"

Well, for one minute absolute silence reigned in the lair.

"YOU ARE TAKING DONNIE?"

"I wanna come too." Mikey gripped your left leg and hugged.

"Well, (Y/N) I don't think this is your best idea because we don't look like hu-"

"AHA- YES, yes I'm coming. Which hour did you say?" Donnie proudly stood up and stepped in front of Raph.

You give every little detail about prom and leave the lair like how you did 1 proud and 3 disappointed turtle.

And yes, Donnie showed off how you choose him over them.

After Donnie gives himself a break to drink water, Mikey said "Wow, you are going on date with them."

He spat out all of the water in his mouth

Realization hits him now.

He. Is. Going. To. Prom. As. Your. Date.

OH SHOOT

Maybe it is a friendly proposal, maybe it is not. You two had not opened your feelings to each other and he was sure you have things for him but he didn't want to understand wrong and make himself look like stupid.

But no worries, his brothers are here for help!

2 days passed like hell, he tried to listen to all his brothers tactics. (Except Leo's cheesy lines because he believed if he says them to you, you would bust your ass out of party)

When the day come, he wore his suit and come to your door.

He pulled back his hand everytime he tried to knock the door and it took almost 5 minute.

You opened the door because of the noise, there is a Donnie fighting with Mind Raph.

He tried to smile at you but... It is kinda scary but you didn't tell him

He doesn't know what to do, don't blame him

"Ah D... You look so handsome." You tried to stop yourself from laugh

Ah, yes. The compliments he deserved and waited for long time

While walking to school he gave compliments to your look

Oh boy, if your clothes his color, it will boost his ego and will be more confident (You guys are matching and looking like a real couple)

After coming to the party, it didn't took so much time to Donnie understand this place isn't for him.

Yeah, he likes dancing, fun (and proving his dance moves are better than others) but he didn't like the idea of doing it in a cramped space where bodies collided.

But he is refusing to tell, he is sipping the drink you took for him and trying to talk like a "normal human teenager" (Splinter please tell this child teens don't act like at Rivalde)

"D, come with me. I have a thing you would love"

You hold his hand and dragged him to the schools corridors.

After arriving technology club's door, you took out the keys

Teenagers don't notice what was taken from them while dancing

"Since we are in the last days, dead electronics will be thrown away. Soooo I thought maybe you would like to take them"

Donnie instantly forgets all the stress and dives between the pieces inside the box.

"OH MY GOSH, I can use this for my Mixer-3007-A and these pieces will let me update Sheldon's..." He explains to you what the pieces will do or not, excitedly and shouting a little

His face is looking so cute: eyebrows are frowning and his cheeks are slightly red from excitement; he looks like a crazy but cute scientist.

After analyzing all the pieces, he turns to you to tell how he is happy

But you are not here

BROKEN HEART HURTS SO MUCH-

Where are you? Did you get bored and leave him? He starts to fell unconfident

Mind Raph yells at him to find you so he do

He opens the door rapidly and almost bump at you.

"Where are you going D-"

"I THOUGHT YOU LEFT ME"

*sigh* "I just told you I was gonna get some snacks"

Let give him a minute to have a little flashback and remembers it.

After remembering he quickly apologizes and helps you to carry snacks.

You both sit on the floor and grab Donnie's hand and pull it towards you.

"Donnie, you don't have to be so nervous, just be yourself. The time we spend is really fun, don't push yourself."

Donnie really doesn't get it, yes it's nice to spend time with him he admits but that's not even the point of the prom. You need to dance and hang out with your friends.

You just need to explain the thing important is not prom, him. You liked the prom in that way.

The night is progressing very sweetly, you two even dance to the music heard from all over the school thanks to the speakers. (Donnie even shows you his moves to justify his username. Just. Wow-)

the last chapter was my favorite in the whole fic so far! I'm very invested and very pleased to see how fleshed out this has become- I absolutely love the dynamics. I'm so intrigued to see how this story plays out, thank you for the wonderful writing!

Apologies if this has been asked before, but regarding Two not getting enough praise and feeling lesser than in comparison to One, is there a particular vulnerability that hurts more than the others? I'm assuming the list is fairly long but the ones I can think of are their names, his softshell, his tech malfunctioning, and his lost arm.

(I think this was in reference to Smart Lair, I just took a while to respond, sorry about that)

I think those are the main things so I'll just dig into them a bit more ehe

yeah, the names are a big one, mostly because of the ranks associated with them.

Two's tech is another important one since he thinks it's the only thing that makes him truly valuable (as an extension of his intellect). So, when One insults his tech or it malfunctions he gets defensive and takes criticism personally.

I would say the lost arm and softshell are insecurities to a lesser extent. Two's more sensitive about the experiment he conducted than the lost arm itself. That's mostly because Draxum uses it as a reason not to trust Two to work unsupervised, which justifies Two's lower rank, while One uses it to take Two's credibility away when he needs to (I feel like that's mostly for the events in the fic, though, since he's actively trying to deceive Draxum AND Two). Two personally sees the actual amputation as proof that he can not only come back from anything but come back even better than before, in this case with the enhanced prosthetic. So, it's a bit of a complicated subject for him since Draxum only sees it as a reason to distrust him. I don't really think Two would be insecure about losing an arm, since we figured Draxum would be able and willing to train him to fight without it (I can't remember if we mentioned Two more directly removing himself from training than Draxum, who just avoided him for a bit.) So it's more the accident itself and the way it changed his reputation that he's insecure about. The arm is a sensitive subject as a reminder of his personal and professional failure. I tried to sort of hint at that in this comic.

I haven't actually thought of Two's softshell being an insecurity in depth before but now that I am I'd say it's a sort of similar situation. Two, like canon Donnie, is aware that his softshell is a weak spot that his brother does not have to worry about, which is why it's a comparative disadvantage. As far as I understand, softshell carapaces aren't SUPER fragile on their own, they're just more fragile than other turtles. So Two would have the same kind of durability as a normal yokai or human child. Perhaps when he was younger he was more insecure about it because Draxum would probably warn Two and One to be careful which would just be an early example of One stepping up as the 'oldest' which Two isn't super happy about (I've talked about Two struggling with feeling respected in the household). But when he's older, probably after he lost his arm and after One's accident he ends up just erasing the weak point by giving it defensive capabilities. I wouldn't be surprised if he installed them after giving himself the arm as if to overcompensate for losing the arm in the first place. Like, in stead of just fixing his mistake so he's as he was before, he's showing he'll make himself even better, both by adding enhanced systems and tools to his prosthetic and by giving himself the spines. But i'm not 100% sure so that may change lol. But anyway, the shell is a vulnerability by being something people can use to prove that One is better than Two, and by being a literal weak spot as a turtle. Two installs the spines in his shell so that his enemies can't take advantage of his soft shell, and so that he has a way to make himself equal to and even surpass the tactile advantage that One gets from his shell. "Take that, mother nature" --Two, probably.

Aside from those, another vulnerability would be Two's temperament. He's got a lot of anger and aggression that he doesn't have much control over, which can make him a liability for One and Draxum, and thus makes him anxious because the more emotional he gets the more of a problem he is. It's just another reason Draxum can't fully trust Two, and he knows it. Two's unpredictable, temperamental, and pretty uncontrollable when he wants to be. I love these qualities because it really shows how passionate Two is, and is a good tell for when Two is really hurting or adamant about something, but One and Draxum will shut Two up by telling him he's forgetting himself or being overemotional, and it's one of the things that Two is not proud of so it usually works. Two tries to remain unaffected and composed and usually succeeds except when it comes to his anger, which is usually born from anxiety or hurt.

That one ties into the vulnerability that hurts the most, which is the notion that Two is a "loose cannon," as One puts it in Smart Lair. It's what ties back to most of the stuff that is on this list and is a big topic in Mind Meld and Smart Lair. In Mind Meld, Two snaps at Splinter when he calls his experiments crazy ("'I am not crazy!'"). He gets worked up when One messes with his technology because, of course, it's his job and he takes it very seriously, but it's also because every haywire experiment is just another docked point against his credibility, and the same goes for his emotional outbursts. He got the label when he did the experiments that got himself and One hurt, and being a high profile criminal in the Hidden City just proves the point and further threatens Draxum's mission. Draxum doesn't trust Two because he is afraid of what he's capable of, but instead of respecting Two's commitment he calls his unpredictable behavior a flaw that keeps him in the second rank. Two's furious because his ambition and passion are labelled as unpredictable and erratic, and that leaves Two constantly trying to fight against behavior that he believes makes him an invaluable asset to Draxum. So that's why Two fluctuates between following orders without question and working on really dangerous projects on his own

Donatello x Big Mama Assistant Reader? I gotcha ya'

At this point in the game Donatello is pretty used to people trying to take advantage of him. Purple Dragons, Big Mama, Master Splinter— basically anyone who throws the dude a compliment because they want to take advantage of him for his tech.

He's weak for that ✨praise✨

Despite being a genius intellectually, emotionally Donatello is easily manipulated into doing things. Like with the Purple Dragons and Master Splinter Donnie is eager to impress those he wants respect/praise from. Believing that if he gives/shows them how great he— his tech is they'll stay. They'll need him. Even if it's not exactly for him. As we find out in Donnie vs. Witch Town.

Praise is Donnie's form of reassurance that he is valued. Needed. To him aside from his tech he believes he doesn't bring anything to the team.

Soooo Donnie crushing hard for one of Big Mama's assistants because they compliment him? Sure I can see that.

Especially if you're literally just feeding his ego so you can retrieve some Intel for Big Mama to use against the Mad Dog's/or to her own personal advantage. Though I guess what you gotta be careful about is what happens when you ghost a turtle who is obsessed with you? Well you might just need to find out.

Sorry if it's a little OOC-ish, I rewrote this like ten times, initially with just head cannons, and then a one shot draft(several). Buuutt I kinda hated all of them sooo I posted the one I liked the most.

Fuck maybe Raph and Leo were right....

This might've been a bad idea...

Donatello was a prideful turtle. He didn't like admitting when he was wrong but, in this case scenario standing here under the beating lamps of Big Mama's Battle Nexus arena ten rounds into a seemingly endless fight. Donatello was starting to have second thoughts about his choice of just strolling up to the New Grand Nexus Hotel and negotiating with Big Mama. Somehow he should've anticipated this outcome. The jorogumo is notorious for adding twists to her deals. Especially when it came to her Battle Nexus. Nothing is as it seems with that british demon lady.

However somehow despite every rational bone screaming in his body to call off this arrangement, the possessive creature caged between his ribs refused. It wanted You. Donatello wanted You. The Yuki-Onna who strolled into the mutant's life all those months ago and infected his brain with your spoonfuls of honey coated poison.

The yokai who sang songs of praise and adoration that hypnotized the purple coded Hamato. Transfixed Donnie gave it all. Anything you asked for. It was yours, just don't abandon him.

Immediately Raph and Leo were on his case about the matter. Preaching about how he was just going to get used and dumped to the curb.

Mikey wouldn't say anything.

Donatello knew Mikey wanted to defend his brother's blossoming interest in love but, in those warm grey eyes it reflected back the youngest Hamato's inability to support this. It wasn't healthy. Donatello didn't need Doctor Feelings to tell him such. But he didn't care. Not until out of the blue you start ghosting the softshell. Long story short— he's devastated.

All together your calls, messages, surprise visits stopped. For weeks there wasn't a sign from you and the lack of (Y/n) time was causing Donnie to go through remission. Like a junkie without a fix the softshell was losing his mind. Everywhere he searched at all hours. Day, night, anytime that his brothers weren't there to stop him from pursuing you. During your extended absence both his father and siblings would go on about how this was a good thing for him. Meanwhile Donatello felt like his world was falling to pieces. Patience chipped away every day he couldn't find you. Before the techno turtle knew it, half a month had passed and he found himself standing in the New Grand Nexus Hotel lobby requesting a meeting with Big Mama.

That's why he was here. To get you back. This is your fault that he's this way. Donatello was just a man of science before you came along and muddled up his rational brain. Now the purple clad Hamato was gonna make sure that you pay for it.

Standing tall once more the sound of the crowd and the stadium's intercom speaking finally broke through the ringing that was leftover from the previous match. Allowing the mutant genius to finally tune into Big Mama's message that was being broadcasted.

"—Ahhh my good patrons~ For our last-aroo match of the tourna-warna-ment we have a special guest star instead of the champion we had originally set.... Give her a warm welcome back everyone! (Y/n), The Snow-woman!~ " the eight-legged Battle Nexus owner announced cheerfully. The projection was cut not a moment later and presented on the opposite side of the arena before the Mad Dog was you.

The (h/c) woman looked just the way she did the day the yokai had sang goodbye for the last time. Pressed white kimono and cold (e/c) eyes. Not sparing a single look to the commotion from the crowd behind her. That deadly gaze was locked on him. Beautiful.

Had not been for the agreement that Donatello had struck up with the British spider demon Donatello would've just stolen you away right then and there.

Like the fog they pumped in for your dramatic grand entrance you glided down the champion runway. Not at all inhibited by the fickle geta you used to complain about. Time slowing down for Donatello the closer you crept towards the ring.

Once locked inside with him Donatello could feel a switch flip inside of him. At first he was so happy that you were actually here and not some false advertisement promoted by Big Mama to lure the softshell turtle into her Battle Nexus. Though as soon as the endorphins left his system the mutant's veins were flooded with a different kind of emotion. Possessive anger. How dare the snow demon just leave him like that. The Mad Dog had given her whatever she desired only for the woman to have the audacity to turn around and leave him after she ruined him like this. It's her fault the ninja turtle felt like this. The demon assistant needed to be held accountable.

Without warning catching the techie turtle off guard you bolted forward. Only allowing Donatello just a second to react in time to protect himself from the icicle blade that formed in your (Dominant hand) hand somewhere between your dramatic entrance and attack. Regardless of its origins, the elemental weapon held up against the thick metal of Donatello's tech-bo that he defended himself with. Not wasting any time the softshell shoved the Yuki-Onna off with his staff before returning the attack with some strikes of his own. From there the two of you traded blows.

Some length of time passed before you began to show obvious signs of fatigue. The combination of the heat radiating off the stadium's overhead lamps and the overexertion of your abilities weakened you enough that eventually all you had left to keep the purple clad Hamato away was the wave of ice that blew forth from your pouting blue tinted lips.

What a nuisance

Had you known all those months ago that you'd be back here in this damn Battle Nexus fighting for your freedom, you wouldn't have ever agreed to that seemingly straightforward task. Befriend the purple clad turtle, get some Intel on Baron Draxum(maybe more) and get out. Simple. Until it wasn't. Donatello was becoming too close, too demanding, too far gone in his own delusion of what he called love. So you dipped.

How ironic you left because you didn't want to deal with the turtle's possessive emotions only to end up fighting against said techie genius for your freedom. Damn Big Mama and her stupid whims. If you managed to win this match. You were for sure never going back to the eight legged entrepreneur. Didn't want to risk being placed in a similar situation like this again.

Rolling around all over the place like a RPG character in a boss fight Donatello manages to eventually draw closer to the defrosting Yuki-Onna. Timing it perfectly to slap a muzzle onto your mouth the sudden action catching you off guard causing you to stumble back. Clawing at the metallic restraint that retracted and locked around your jaw.

Seeing his opportunity Donatello knocks you down onto your ass before activating the electrical prongs in his tech-bo. In a swift move the mutant turtle held you down with his foot as he stabbed the ends of the built in taser into your stomach electrocuting you until your vision went dark.

The moment that it was declared the (h/c) haired woman was down for the count. From the surrounding stands a roar of excitement erupted within the colosseum all at once. The cheers of spectators barely drowned out only by Big Mama's announcement of the purple coded mutant's victory. Giddiness evident in the jorogumo's tone despite being out a helper.

However that was not what Donatello was concerned about.

Not wasting another second in hitting the button on his tech-bo allowing the contraption to retract into its small tubbing and to be put away. Leaving his three digit grasps open to scoop up his prize. Overwhelmed with finally having you in his grasp once again the purple coded Hamato completely forgets about his own battered state. Inky pools focused solely on the unconscious yokai that haunted his waking thoughts and dreams.

From behind him Donatello could hear the arrival of a group of footsteps. Standing up with your figure resting in his arms Donatello turns to face Big Mama as she struts towards your guy's battered figures. Two yokai bellhops following dutifully behind the spider demon boss.

" Fufufuh looks like some-bitty-body is a happy winner~ " the business woman teased as she approached. Stopping just in front of the two of you as she analyzed the scene with amusement.

" What a show! I'm soooo pleased that you were able to win dearie~ However there is still one little last itsy bitsy part of our deal you're forgetting~ " the spider demon chided playfully. Although her tone was its usual playfulness behind the lenses of her teal cat-eye frames the jorogumo held an impatient look.

"Oh how could I forget?" Donatello replied sarcastically as he released your legs holding you up against his plastron as his free hand reached back into his battle shell to grab his and your ticket out of this mad house.

" There. Everything I could find left over from Baron Draxum's lab that was salvageable " the softshell turtle said flatly as he threw the flashdrive towards the fox bellhop to the right of the Battle Nexus owner. The fox not wasting a second to handed the flashdrive over to it's boss.

"Splendid! Well~ you better get going young purple one. Yuki-Onna's don't respond well to heat and today is supposed to be terribly hot! Better hurry~" Big Mama warned whimsically as she began to walk away back towards the direction of her luxury skybox.

With that out of the way Donatello doesn't waste a second longer standing around in the middle of the Battle Nexus arena. Quickly the mad dog recollects your figure into his arms bridal style fleeing the Battle Nexus arena and hotel as quickly as possible.

Once out of the mob boss's reach back on the surface Donatello couldn't help but let out a sigh of relief. He made it, he found you. The creature caged in his chest was pleased. Content that he has you at his side once again and this time the purple clad softshell was gonna ensure things would be different. He wasn't gonna let you leave him in shambles again. He was gonna make sure you needed him as much as he needs you.

After all it was like what Mikey said:

"The heart wants what it wants"

And his wanted you even if your's didn't want him.

Guys so as I was writing this I was thinking about how the Kraang could've affected Donatello and Raphael in the long run.

Like obviously PTSD but what I mean is like cray cray wise.

Like both Raph and Donnir had fused with the Kraang Hive mind in some form or another.( Raph mind controlled/possessed, Donnie mind melded )

I'm just saying there's gotta be some sort of side effects from that experience. Like having a harder time differentiate between reality and hallucinations. Or possibly maybe their brains chemistry has been fucked up making them more aggressive/possessive? Idk

I'm thinking about writing/or elaborating further on this in a future post. Yandere scenarios of course.

I just got a lot to write but, you guys know me. I'm all over the place~

yeeaaahhh screw it im finally posting (some of) my RoTMNT ocs on tumblr dot com lol ! but it's them! the triplets! wahoo!!!

So... you wanna hear about my tmnt ocs :3

i know most of this info is in the ref but: i like to yap so basic profile blocks ^^

"One" Venus cis - she/her Turtle: Eastern Painted Turtle / Red-Eared Slider Weapon(s): fights with her fists and relies a lot on her mystic abilities Powers: can produce vine/tentacles from her left arm

"Two" Ronnette "Ronny" genderflux - xe/ve/he/she (xe/xyr/xyr/xyrs/xyrself and ve/vis/vir/virs/verself) Turtle: Four-Eyes Turtle / Spiny Softshell Weapon(s): uses either steel claws or a bow and arrow depending on range Powers: air manipulation / telekinesis

"Three" Lita demigirl & voidgirlflux - she/it or none Turtle: Albino Spotted Turtle / Alligator Snapping Turtle Weapon(s): uses a tessen and naginata, but mostly uses the naginata Power: time manipulation

so i don't have a set age for them yet, they're either a year younger or a year older than Mikey post-movie but I haven't decided ^^;

so these 3 are part of a post movie au idea i had, but is also technically during movie? idk!

their au isn't fully fleshed out on the specifics and the why's of certain things but that's ok :] Here's what i do have figured out though

They're from the Bad Future via the movie!

Initially made by Draxum using DNA from the original turtles and himself as well as some turtles he found (how? uh. dont ask)

Taken by the Krang as babies and infected with Krang DNA as well

They're "raised" and trained by the Krang to fight and defeat the rebellion, and assume the Krang made them

Three learns of their origins and attacks the Krang. She is sent to the prison dimension

Time passes: the rebellion is destroyed.

In the past Leonardo sends himself and Krang Prime to the prison dimension. He is there for a lot longer than he lets his brothers know.

There Leonardo meets Three. They become friends.

Then Leo's brothers come for him, and Three takes the chance to collect her own siblings

In a future no longer to come, Three appears, making her powers clear and known. She grabs her siblings, One and Two, and leaves

In the past, months after the attempted invasion a portal opens up above the Hudson River and out falls three turtle-krang creatures, two of which fighting each other while the other tries to stop them

The story begins.

that's the general gist of it :-)

As a note: I like the idea some people have of Leo being in the Prison Dimension for longer than thought of in canon bc of weird time stuff happening. Where it could be a few minutes for Raph, Donnie, and Mikey but it was months for Leo. Something like that :)

That's all i got for now, i'll try and make more posts about them, expanding on certain things and the why's and what that means (like why i picked what turtle combos, or why i picked what mystics, or when they figure out their powers, or why they chose their names) but i wanted to keep this intro post rather short ("short") so that'll do for now ^_^

Since I am bored, here is what i think the rise boys would be like if they were in the 2012 storyline

(All the other characters remain as their 2012 versions, only the turtle brothers are swapped)

✨Season 1 edition✨

(first few are from the episode "Rise of the Turtles" and the rest are just jumbled)

Since i dont think you can just go up and buy an alligator snapping turtle and a spiny softshell turtle as pets let's say Splinter worked at a zoo or something

Leo, Donnie and Raph were new arrivals while Mikey just hatched a few days ago amd Splinter was assigned to idk, take care of them

Splinter was about to let them join with the others in their enclosure but the Kraang arrived to try and get some animals for testing

Splinter fought them, accidentally getting the mutagen on himself and the turtle, mutating them and turning him into a rat (he was feeding the snakes with rats before he went to check on the turtles)

He ran off with the turtles, trying to get away from the kraang and taking care of the new turtle tots at rhe same time

They still have different ages, Mikey being 13, Donnie and Leo being 14 and Raph being 15

Only Mikey has an exact birthday since he was hatched when Splinter was there, Donnie and Leo arrived at the zoo at the same time so they considered them twins while Raph arrived in a different time.

They celebrate mutation day with the tradition of Splinter telling them their "super hero origin story"

Raph was the only one actually allowed to go up top since he's 15 but the brothers complained and he promised to watch out for his brothers when they do

They are a lot more stealthy than they were before, it's a necessity for Raph, since he's big

Raph was the one that suggested they save April (instead of 2012 Donnie)

Leo and Donnie were ready to run off and had to be dragged back to join them in saving the girl

They fail miserably because they're not used to working together yet

Raph volunteers to be the leader (instead of 2012 Leo)

Leo was the one that threatened Snake when they caught him

"Let's play a game I creatively call, Mutation roulette! You can turn out as handsome as moi! Or you can turn into Donnie." "Wow." "Shut up, Donnie, you're ruining my drama!"

Raph had a hard time coming up with a strategy until Leo butts himself in

Leo is still the turtle that taunts Snakeweed to the power source thing

Donnie is still the turtle that saves April from the helicopter

Because none of them has a crush on April, there's no excuse at writing her badly.

Instead of the classic Leo and Raph rivalry, it's Donnie and Leo that fights for Splinter's attention

The spiderbytes episode would not happen because Raph is still like his Rise self, nothing really changes

It also wont happen because Mikey steals the phone, Leo smashes it on the pavement and Donnie makes sure no one believes the man

Donnie has a traditional bo instead of his tech bo because i dont think he can get his advanced tech in the living conditions of 2012

Plus Splinter is a but more strict on the hacking of banks

Since Jupiter Jim does not exist, they only ever watch Space Heroes, Mikey absolutely loves it

Donnie names Metalhead "Shelldon"

Leo thinks the name is so boring for such a cool robot

Raph still has Spike

Mikey still tries to befriend Chris Bradford and is the first to kick him in the ass when he finds out what he reslly is

When Splinter asked Raph whybhe thinks he was chosen as the leader, he answers with:

"Because i'm the eldest, and as the eldest, its my job to protect my brothers"

His answer is another reason why he won't be staying as leader for long

He is very much into the idea of being heroes

Often times Leo is the one that ends up giving strategies and ideas to the team

This caused somewhat of a fight between Donnie and Leo because Donnie thinks Leo is trying to steal the leader spot from Raph to get Splinter's approval

(don't worry they may fight for Splinter's attention but they're still twins through and through)

"Trying to steal the— you don't even listen to Raph half the time!" "Yeah because the ideas come from you!" "Those ideas helped us win!" "If you would just let Raph think for himself then—" "Fine! I'm gone!"

Leo walks away after that argument

"See if you can work as a team without me then!"

Karai ambushes Leo as usual

Leo sees her as a challenger, a fresh of breath air

"Look at what you did, Donnie! Leo's crying!" "It's just blinding powder, Mikey, this ninja ambushed me and—" "Someone ambushed you?! Are you alright?!" "I'm fine, Raph, geez."

Splinter taught him a lesson that he already knew.

His brothers doesn't need him, he needs his brothers.

The incident with Snakeweed happens like before, Mikey still gets knocked out and Raph only ever tells Donnie to attack and Donnie, out of pride, has to follow orders.

Raph tells them to retreat even if Donnie doesn't want to

Donnie ends up finding Leo and Karai on the rooftop before they plan on stealing the sword. (instead of 2012 raph finding him)

Leo does the naming most of the time

Mikey still tames and names Leatherhead and instead of the weird pizza soup, he actually cooks hims something nice

Mikey loves cooking and when April gabe them groceries from time to time as a thanks, he took that as a sign to learn how to cook

He shudders everytime he remembers they were eating algae and worms for most of the 13 years of their lives

Also the first to discover pizza

Him and April bond over cooking

Donnie ends up being close to April like a sister, he's slowly turning her into ghe darkside

"Stop corrupting her, Donnie" "She already came in like this."

Donnie wants to go to April's school but he knows he can't

His motivation of saving Kirby is not because of April (maybe a little bit since he's a bit guilty that he at first, was about to ignore her when she needed help) but because he wants to prove himself

He named the Newtrilizer like usual and Leo is offended

The whole A team, B team still happens, but the B team ends up being menaces.

The purple dragons do not like Leo and Donnie, most importantly they don't like Mikey (Mikey yelled at them for choosing a life of crime instead of actually working for once)

Donnie and Leo had a little bit too much fun rolling Chris Bradford around in the trash can when they used him as hostage in exchange of Murakami

Mikey smiling down on him was the last one he saw before he was shoved in said trash can

Most of the ninjas are afraid of how big Raph is

The brothers bully Baxter Stockman as per usual

The parasitica episode is practically the same, but Raph and Donnie's bites hurt a lot more

Instead on just focusing on tech, Donnie is more rounded and has knowledge with chemistry and biology

Leo is team medic because Donnie does not want to touch the ew

It's practically the same when they first encountered the Shredder, but Donnie and Leo kept on attacking

Mikey went in his shell when the billboard fell on him

Leo went out of his way to impress Karai whenever she shows up because he wanted to look cool and a better rival

Donnie ends up telling them about Karai

Mikey thinks she can be good

Raph doesn't trust her like Donnie

Raph ends up being the one that has to drive the Shellraiser

Leo drives if Raph can't

Raph can't have his own go cart because he's too big

The whole mutant cockroach thing went differently because Raph isn't afraid of cockroaches

At the season finale, Leo overhears Splinter telling Raph that the mission must always be accomplished no matter what or who is the cost

He took that to heart

As the Technodrome began to fall from the sky, Leo saves Mikey from falling in the gaps and uses his brother's kusarigama chains to hold Kraang Prime back

"GO!" "Leo! I'll hold em back, give me the chains—" "Get them out, Raph! April can't barely stand, you're the only one that can carry her and our brothers to an escape pod in time!" "I am NOT leaving you—" "I SAID GO ALREADY!"

Raph understands that and grabs Mikey, and Donnie (and in extention April, since Donnie was struggle a bit when carrying her)

Donnie tries to run back out to Leo but Raoh closes the pod.

"'Nardo!" ("Leonardo!")

Donnie was, honest to god, ready to cry.

Mikey was ready to dive into the ocean despite not knowing how to swim

Raph thinks back to what Splinter said. He thought it was supposed to be him that's under water, not Leo. He's the big brother, he's supposed to be doing the sacrificial acts

"Missed me already?" "LEO!"

Cue in a turtle pile plus April

He got scolded real good by Raph

Splinter apologizes in the end about what he implied and was glad his sons are back and that the world is saved

Splinter suddenly says that Leo is the leader now (after Raph suggested it)

I was really sure we wouldn't have a chapter today, waking up and seeing the chapter notification was really surprising and scary.

'Bella is still under arrest and it looks like Pax went to live with Draxum'.

I WANTED ONE THING, FAI!!! ONE THING!!!

I love April's parents, if anything bad ever happens to them I will resent you for the rest of the series.

Nice to see Mr. Bone again, definitely a great character, hope he can still reconcile with his brother in this reality as well. Don suave could be super useful. What are your headcanon about the guy.

'Draxum has not let him be seen, Or mentioned his name. Pray that continues'

Yeahh, Donnie will have a hard time even if the court pardons him. The boy will not only have to deal with the emotional burden, but also with the fact that many people hate him for what he did even if he was brainwashed.

Finally we get to see the repercussions of Draxum's actions more closely, God, it reminds me so much of the Mutant town arc. You said book 3 will focus more on donnie, right? I hope he gets a closer glimpse of what Draxum's war is causing.

Again, poor people, their lives took a 180° turn thanks to Draxum, and not because they are now mutants the Yokai will accept them just like that, and Draxum is too focused on his goal of mutating everyone to see it.

Lita! No Wait, Jenny! JENNY!!! as in JENIKA!!!?

Poor Raph, they should give him a pizza for every time they mistake him for an adult.

Ending up with a turtle power is the sweetest and most beautiful thing ever and you should never feel bad about it.

I've honestly been surprised by how much I got into writing the O'Neils. Originally I just put them in because I was making April a very prominent character and either I constantly show her making excuses and whatnot to keep them off her back or I imply that she's hella neglected. Which-people have done neglected April before and it works great for them, but I thought it would be simpler to just have them meet the fam and get it over with.

Simpler. Lol.

I've really enjoyed writing their dynamic, especially in this last chapter. They do fight, of course they do, all married couples argue. They're extremely stressed out, worried about their daughter and three bonus sons, and deeply worried and mourning for the bonus son they haven't gotten to meet. But they're good people with healthy communications and whatnot, and they still use little terms of endearment and show affection and are still generally in love after being married for probably twenty years.

And they're so parent-coded. They were perfectly happy being one and done, but these boys are children 2-5 now.

I mean, depends on how homosexual you think Bishop is? I feel like he's one of those asexuals who wields their asexuality like a weapon. Don Suave tries to seduce him and he just pulls out his pistol and shoots his dick off.

I was thinking of mentioning the Hueso-Piel reconciliation later on, but it would be a pretty minor thing. Probably just a mention and Piel walking around in the background. Shit's getting real, it's dumb to hang onto stupid brotherly feuds when your brother might die tomorrow.

Lol, that's why I made her a yellow-bellied slider. I kind of liked the idea of Leo having other slider mutants around, considering they're such popular pets and more people would have slider DNA on their person verses alligator snappers or softshells. We can say that Jenny grows up to be a fearsome crimefighter herself. But right now she's six.
