Hello I like your dadbot au. Am going to protect my sleeping issues from having to go to smenare (thing we're you go to church like 2 hours before school) and my brothers clown doll collection n him staying up watch supernatural or some horror movies. On to donatello cus I feel like he has nightmares to when he gets more than like 5 hours of sleep

Wait. Is- Is that not normal? If I try to go back to sleep after five or six hours the things I see. I like my jawbone inside my mouth thank you very much. ^ ^
I can definitely see Donnie doing stuff like that though. Between learning about the Earth and trying to figure out how to build things with this low-grade tech, it's hard to just sleep.
Then there's everything that happened on their little "adventure". The knowledge that, if he didn't predict his father's next move, he would have been all alone. Sure Donnie and his brothers are getting close, but he's known them for less than a year. They're practically strangers to him.

Turtle in the belfry AU
Serperated Donnie AU where he's raised by the Bat librarian, who I have called Agatha, and helps his mom as a library assistant.
Instead of just hush bats, you also get carried away by mini Shelldons.
His shushes sound like hisses.
He has to wear a special mask because he can't control his own volume and keeps accidentally getting carried away.
He has randomly busted out into song multiple times in the library multiple times and been carried away.
At this point, the kids know and love him.
Kids will ask where books are just hear him create a dung to memorize its location. They made it a game to bet if he gets carried off or not.
Normal-sized Shelldon was the prototype. He watches the kiddie room because he doesn't have much of a library… anything.
He's very friendly and energetic though, so great with kids.
Donnie has plants hanging around the library

After dealing with this morning I am convinced I'm a character in someone else's story. I've had enough character development this year. Let's write me getting rich instead, okay? Some solid mental health maybe? The stress and effort being put toward actual character growth and me realizing my dreams at least.

Yep. ^ ^ Was in the extra notes of the first post of the AU. I originally had Huginn and Muninn, but since I remembered Jumba and Pleakley getting married in the one episode of the show, I couldn't help myself. XD
Also, your guess is as good as mine. : D As far as plot goes that's about as far as I got settled. I had a couple ideas, but never fully developed them.
A. Draxum captures Mikey and Leo on their way to school. After not coming home on time and no call Raph and Donnie get worried and look for them. Donnie, suspicious of what's going on, sends Raph searching in the wrong direction.
Donnie finds them, and Splinter who tried stopping Draxum, is locked in a cage. Donnie lets himself be captured in return for Leo and Mikey being released.
Donnie and Splinter eventually work together to escape to escape. Splinter praises Donnie for some quick thinking. Donnie doesn't know why but he likes the praise very much, more of that.
They come back to the House seeing the other three practically preparing for war to get Donnie back. Wait a minute. Those are Donnie's weapons! They were in his secret lab! >:(
They're happy to get Donnie back, but confused by the strange man he brought back. It's awkward at first with Splinter in their house, but Donnie seems oddly attached so they don't think they can get rid of him.
Raph is oddly thankful for the man when he sees how well he can wrangle the others, even Donnie. However, he's not sure how he feels about Splinter trying to give and teach them to use weapons. Sure it would be nice if they knew how to defend themselves, especially after already being kidnapped, but those swords look sharp.
B. Draxum tells the hidden city police and uses them against Raph since they're his teammates and he won't want to hurt them. Saying Donnie is holding Raph's little brothers hostage so he won't tell them he's there. He uses the traps as evidence.
They immediately search the house trying to get Raph and the others out to keep them safe. Everything is so loud, bright, and sudden that no one knows what's going on. Especially not Donnie who was relaxing with his antennas up and was stunned by the sudden input.
This allows Draxum to grab Donnie's antennas so he goes limp. Only Donnie's eyes glared up at him. Draxum letting the officers know he has it so they think it's secured.
Before Draxum can get away Leo gets on the way. Donnie is whining and twitching weakly, fighting the instinct to go limp because his brother is in danger.
Draxum and Leo are arguing, Leo threatening Draxum. Leo throws something at Draxum that Draxum easily bats away. It was a distraction and Leo is going for a direct attack.
Draxum throws Leo hard enough there's an audible crack sound before Leo goes limp on the ground.
Donnie stares at Leo's unmoving form, feeling agony like never before. Something deep inside aches and he wants it gone.
In his desperation, Donnie finally moves. He yanks himself away from Draxum, ripping off his antennas in the process. Everything is more muted except for the pain. It's hard to hear, see, or even think.
Donnie just starts lashing out in his confusion. There is no joy in the chaos and devastation, only a misguided attempt to ease his own suffering.
Donnie only pauses when he feels something wet hit his face. Then he feels it again along with the muffled sound of a spray bottle and pained breathing.
Then a familiar voice in the fog. "I'm pretty sure you got everything but the guy you were after. Some genius you are."
Oh. Donnie knows that voice. That voice that triggers equal amounts of fondness and annoyance. Donnie curls around the warmth and listens to the heartbeat. Still going. Good.
Meanwhile, Leo is trying to bite back a shout of pain because he is pretty sure he has a broken rib and Donnie is currently squeezing him. He loves the guy, but Donnie is a lot stronger than he looks. Leo looks at the stumps where Donnie's antennas used to be. Man, he really messed himself up.
C. Draxum: Please come back so we can conquer the cosmos.
Donnie: The offer is tempting, but I can't. Raph said no slaughter.
Draxum: Then I refuse to leave.
Donnie: Mikey! Villain to rehabilitate!
Mikey: Yay, new father figure! : D
Draxum getting Dragged away: I am not!
Splinter who has to watch Draxum and can't leave without him: …I'm going to die on this planet, aren't I?
Leo patting his back: Probably.

Draxum has been trying to get in to get Donnie for days, but Donnie has that place so booby-trapped he honestly fears for his life.
Draxum landed on the planet he expected a path of destruction to lead him right to his creation. Yet when he and Lou landed there were no flames, no screams of terror. Draxum is disappointed that his creation has somehow already been captured, or worse.
When Draxum does finally find his creation his displeasure only grows. Its nature is being contained and controlled. Redirected with a purpose and target. Draxum.
Its mind has grown far beyond what Draxum had originally intended, utilizing its environment and the tools around it to create such terrifying constructs. It hasn't lost its taste for destruction and chaos though, that much is obvious as it smirks haughtily at his failed attempts to even get close to the house. His creation has so much potential, but it's become distracted.
Splinter keeps trying to remind him that he has to capture it and return it. The man is too blinded by the "threat" around young to see what's really going on. Let him keep believing he's doing the right thing. Whatever helps Draxum get to his creation.
The things he could do if he could just get his hands on it.

Raph finds out because the hidden city police have a connection to the galactic federation. Raph still trying to find out where Donnie came from actually finds out where Donnie came from.
He sees the articles about the mad scientist and that describes the dangerous abomination. How it pretended to be just a dumb animal before breaking out of a high-security transport vehicle and is now on the loose. The federation preparing to send in its creator to capture it since he is the only one who could possibly capture such a cunning and destructive creature.
It even shows a picture of the security footage of his escape. Donnie laughed maniacally as the guard cowered before him, gun in each of his four arms, quills raised up his spine, and mask tails raised like antennas.
A living weapon that was created to destroy, and Raph let it into his house with his younger brothers. Raph remembers all the instances of Leo saying something was off with Donnie and all the things Donnie supposedly did. And Raph didn't believe him. All of his time facing villains and criminals Raph has never known such dread.
Raph practically races home to make sure Mikey and Leo are still… okay. He calls the house several times but no one picks up. Raph goes even faster.
The entire time Raph can't help but think this isn't fair. How could someone make something like this? To knowingly make it look like a kid so people let it into their homes. The fact it was all fake is painful enough. Like he's already lost a member of his family.
When Raph gets home he sneaks in, not wanting to alert Donnie. It's so quiet. Where's the usual sound of his brothers laughing and playing? The fighting as a prank or joke gone too far that he needs to break up? He hears a movie playing in the living room. He peeks in and sees… a turtle pile?
a large pile of pillows and covers on the floor as the movie plays unwatched. Mikey is using Leo's legs as a footrest while his back and arms are flailed out. Leo is lying chest down on a large lump of covers, practically hugging it. Raph is about to panic at the lack of "softshell" when he notices a familiar snout poking out of the covers.
Raph doesn't know if he wants to laugh or cry. The whole way here he was worried about Donnie possibly hurting his brothers, and here he is letting Leo practically drool all over him. Leo, who has been suspicious of Donnie since the very beginning, let his guard down enough to fall asleep.
One thing is clear to Raph looking at Donnie right now. He may have been made for destruction, but that's not all he's capable of. Not anymore at least.
Raph looks tiredly at the sleeping Donnie. "It was Mikey that got to you, wasn't it? He has that effect on people." As expected, there was no answer besides quiet snores.
Raph can feel a headache forming. Why do these kids have to make everything so complicated? There's no way he can just capture Donnie and turn him over, but he's not going to let this continue without telling Leo and Mikey. Tomorrow they'll have a family meeting, tell each other everything, and figure things out from there.
But first, Raph is way too exhausted to be awake right now and that turtle pile looks awfully inviting. He flops onto the covers and pillows and drifts off himself.
When Raph first mentions finding where Donnie comes from Donnie doubts he actually found out about him. Meanwhile, Leo and Mikey think he found Donnie's real family, and Donnie's going to have to leave. They're crying and hanging on to an annoyed Donnie while telling him to call them and visit. Raph just trying to get them to listen for a few seconds because guys that's not what he's trying to say.
Mikey gives Donnie an album full of pictures of their time together so he doesn't forget them. The cover is a hand-drawn portrait of their family with Donnie in it. Mikey knows there's no chance of getting Donnie to sit still for a family photo.
Leo's favorite is a picture of Donnie's face scrunched up as he's sprayed in the face with a water bottle like a misbehaving cat.
The constant camera in his face is how Donnie learns to record everything. They find out and try to explain this is different, but Donnie just doesn't get it.
Once Raph gets them calmed down enough to explain Leo is mostly baffled at how Donnie can hide two extra arms "like a morbid jack in the box."
Mikey's just relieved that since he's an alien and doesn't have any family on Earth that means they get to keep him.
Donnie: I suppose my creator could technically be seen as a parental unit.
Leo: Yeah, but we said on Earth.
Donnie: Again, my creator.
Raph remembers reading about the creator being sent to hunt the creation: Oh no.

Leo would definitely be the one to think to use a spray bottle when Donnie acts up.
Mikey would be trying to help Donnie get his emotions out in a more positive way. A way that doesn't involve destroying everything in sight.
Leo being Leo would probably notice something wasn't quite right with the new kid Raph brought home while they try to find his family. Sure he'd play along so Donnie would let his guard down, but he's watching him like a hawk.
Donnie notices Leo following him, and with his superior galactic knowledge, decides to mess with him. Doing the most impossible and mind-boggling thing, then acting like he wasn't doing anything wrong in his life the moment Raph or Mikey started getting close.
The only reason Donnie isn't causing countless deaths and immeasurable destruction? Too busy messing with one poor red-eared slider.
Leo just wondering how the heck he got up that tree so fast. Leo only looked away for a second!
One good thing Leo had discovered? Music seems to calm Donnie down. Even if watching Donnie "Dancing" is more painful than being bit.
Raph is just happy they're finally getting along and Donnie's energy is going to something other than trying to take apart everything in sight.
