Thinking more on the ace is crocs prize dancer and….. it’s such a hot concept. Ace and croc aren’t even sleeping together is the thing! Crocs in it for the money and ace for the rush but god does every interaction between ace and his boss seem so sexual and charged.

Ace perches on crocs lap during negotiations with other crews playing the distraction and croc is so used to it he’s just acting like ace borderline grinding on his thigh in public is normal. As you totally said ace gets a kick out of pissing off croc by by calling him daddy in public and is fully aware if he pushes to far croc will hook his hook around aces throat to keep him still to growl at him. Which also looks super sexual to everyone who sees this. Ace is just so fucking tactile but while it’s normal with others croc would kill anyone not his money maker if they tried this shit with him.

Sometimes the weird dynamic is intentional too as ace has a blast taunting doflamingo and doffys weird thing for croc by playing crocs prized toy and ‘the reason doffy will never get anywhere’. (The real reason is ofc that flamingo is puke worthy)

mello &. misc.

here's my thoughts on why mello is way more human then everyone gives him credit. he is literally a very good argue for nature vs. nuture. he was a product of his environment, unwilling to conform to anything else. he's selfish, he's prideful, he's spiteful and he's unwilling to change. he preaches ideologies that have been taught to him. a catalyst for the unjust justice system. his motives are childish, he doesn't care about everyone — he focuses on one person. they stem from, well kira killed L and i cared about L and near is trying to upstage me. if he focused on the world as a whole and actually sat and took into account what was good for the masses he would quickly become overwhelmed. even just going with his motives he's exhausted, i think mello shows even a person presumed to more then the average person and a person who is aware of what is needed to achieve perfection constantly would still shy away from it. they'll find comfort in being imperfect to continue their self loathing. it's obvious he doesn't care about his own life much - he has nothing to life for if he can't achieve a goal. it's unhealthy of course it is but he'd rather use people as his catalysts then admit he could and would never be the person he was raised to become. he's aware he'd never be L, but his delusions perpetrate that the reason he won't is because of a person ( see near ) as opposed to his own faults. he can and can not acknowledge his own flaws long enough to genuinely fix them. a toxic relationship with perfection - he wants it. craves it and yet he is clinging to imperfection. clinging to the fact he wants to be not okay.

just a heads up that i may be inactive for the upcoming week because of exams and catching up on schoolwork, i might post some art inbetween but the more finished artworks will be put on pause

I feel like I've complained about Tim's email situation in Gotham Knights before (edit: I have), but the truth of it is just so funny.

He's signed up for so many podcasts, video game streamers, and random news alerts; it's just a constant barrage of data going straight into his constantly whirring brain. Hell, he even floats the idea of the Batfamily having their own podcast as a way to correct misinformation about them (which Jason shoots down instantly), and it's made me realize something.

Timothy Drake would be a YouTuber.

In this universe specifically, Timothy Jackson Drake, the heir to Drake Industries and the foster son of the late Bruce Wayne would be a YouTuber.

Think about it. It'd be the perfect cover. Who would ever suspect that some 16-year-old nepo baby with a YouTube channel could ever be Red Robin? You'd have to be mad. I mean, look at him.
