Yandere Definition

Yandere is a portmanteau of two Japanese words. The first is yanderu, which means “to be sick,” and the second is deredere, used here for “lovestruck.” A yandere is often sweet, caring and innocent before switching into someone who has extreme, often violent or psychotic devotion to a love interest.

mm, i think tsundere and deredere are some other ones i identify with just because i'm very, like, starstruck and overly affectionate with my darling. i get shy and can be temperamental. if i had a darling, i'd like them to have similar tendencies in the sense that they're also very doting, very affectionate, cheery, and attentive. but i also enjoy having someone who's a little more opposite from me, like sunshine + grumpy type.

Moon (☽):Which yandere aesthetic(s) do you resonate with? Pastel? Guro/gore? Dark?

i think pastel and dark aesthetics for sure. guro/gore doesn't catch my eye too much and i try to avoid it honestly just bc it isn't really my vibe. some blood and things can be pretty, but overall i don't care for gore much.

Neptune (♆):Would you say you are more dominant or submissive to your darling? Also, god complex or inferiority complex?

i think it depends on our dynamic, but i'm usually more on the submissive side. however, i do like to be dominant and demanding at times because it's cute to see my darling get so flustered. i definitely have more of a god complex -- i mean, how can i not? it's only natural for me to be worshipped and adored.
