There's something so bittersweet about Alec's fascination with television. I mean, I, personally, love reading, so I do have mixed feelings about the "forget the book; come watch the very frenetic television instead" conversation, but it makes an angsty kinda sense.

Alec was in Manticore for ages --- his whole life --- which was a world of blandness. We've seen it --- grey walls and an industrial/regimented atmosphere, stark lighting and impersonal interactions, emotionless mission briefings and black-and-white dossiers --- so we know that it's very (obviously) militaristic and detached and same.

And then he breaks out and there's so much color. He seeks human comfort. He gets a flashy red car with loud music and no top, and he cruises down the highway with the wind in his hair for the first time. He watches television and sees the color, the sound, the stimulus.

After so much of the same, his (repeated) look of awe about the television is natural, but it hurts, too.

I love love love robin, robin wood fan for life ofc ofc, but I genuinely think that faith should’ve hooked up with willow in season 7.

it just makes sense - the two of them understand each other now, having gone through similar experiences of doing terrible things with their power and wanting to atone. I think seeing them build a growing respect and attraction to each other, building to a passionate hookup that may or may not become a semi-healthy relationship… it just would’ve been very interesting to explore, especially with the characters’ complicated but definitely charged history together. ugh and the angst of willow losing tara only to then get it on with FAITH? FAITH??? regardless of how much faith has changed or how good their relationship is, you can’t tell me willow wouldn’t feel a little disgusted with herself, and that is some juicy stuff to dig into

also I just hate kennedy and NEED canon sapphic faith content because that woman is a raging bisexual and no one on this earth can convince me otherwise

Cause of Death: Became comatose due to childbirth, eventually died

Propaganda:

A fiercely witty, complex and independent character - she was Always her own woman, only briefly having romantic relationships and it never defined her character for 6 seasons on both Buffy & Angel. Unfortunately the show producer was an abusive misogynist who targeted Cordelia's character specifically for humiliation when her actress Charisma Carpenter became pregnant. He is a colossal dick, and a terrible writer. Cordelia and Charisma deserved better.

I love her so much

Cause of Death: Sacrificed herself to save the universe

Propaganda:

The show has so so so many issues, but taking the black female lead and reducing her to a love interest and then killing her???? I never even got to the finale (bailed on the show seasons before) but I am still so fucking mad about this
