Ok but Darius is the character who invokes the Titan more than anyone. You can get really creative with that depending on how much you want the cult of the Titan to be resembling of christianity (with the premise that Belos institutionalized it in that form because it was familiar to him and easier to fake)

EXACTLY!!!!!

Like imagine he was raised religious by his parents and lost his belief when he became coven head after seeing the "all holy Emperor" murder his beloved mentor.

But like. The habits are still there. He associates the cult of the Titan with his family and his childhood. Try as he might it's really fucking hard to see the emperor for what he is and not be absolutely disgusted with himself for believing in him.

In the finale he wears a titan shaped belt, which does seem like it's the new symbol of the Isles,

But still, what happened between season 2b and WAD that made him comfortable with it?

Belshazzar's Feast - John Martin

Belshazzar's feast, tells how Belshazzar holds a great feast and drinks from the vessels that had been looted in the destruction of the First Temple. A hand appears and writes on the wall. The terrified Belshazzar calls for his wise men, but they are unable to read the writing. The queen advises him to send for Daniel, renowned for his wisdom. Daniel reminds Belshazzar that his father Nebuchadnezzar, when he became arrogant, was thrown down until he learned that God has sovereignty over the kingdom of men. Belshazzar had likewise blasphemed God, and so God sent this hand. Daniel then reads the message and interprets it: God has numbered Belshazzar's days, he has been weighed and found wanting, and his kingdom will be given to the Medes and the Persians.

Back in the SBRverse…

Darius was resting inside of the outlaw Arden’s home, while Sister Karia was still getting used to her new environment. The house was calm, but despite that, Arden stayed outside this night. He had the feeling, something was going to go down. He didn’t move an inch away from the outside of his home, until he heard something move. “The ‘ell?”The outlaw looks around, thinking of what could be around at this hour and then…

Meanwhile, Darius was talking with the nun. The two were conversing about their own lives, and it appears things didn’t in the right direction for either of them the more they learned about their lives. However this bonding was interrupted by the sound of a thud. “Stay here.” Darius says, merely upon instinct, before walking away

“What, but I can-” The nun stops as soon as Darius is at the door.

Now the pillar opens up the door and sees the red haired outlaw being held by his neck by a man who looked EXACTLY like how he used to, but with messy grey hair. The pillar couldn’t see the man, but he immediately picked up his own scent from him. “Who are you!?”

The man throws the red haired outlaw at Darius, and smirks. “Can I come in?” The man asks. “I just want to talk.”

Darius catches the alternate Arden, sets him down, he then hears the man’s words. “You won’t find me good company.”

“Oh, we’ll have plenty to talk about.” The grey haired man then walks past Darius, into the home, surprising Sister Karia in the process. Darius enters the home as well, and the red haired outlaw has his stand close the door. Both the grey haired man and Darius take a seat, at the dinner table, remaining dead silent. “So, you’ve got a new lease on life, traitor.”

“Do I know you?”

“L’oscurita Dell’ignoto, and I’m just here to ask you one thing… are you a calm and reasonable person?”

“When the moment calls for it.” L’oscurita chuckles. “Well, then I guess we’ll be calm.” There soon ends up being some banging on the door. The Outlaw Arden then opens up the door, and sees… a blonde man around his height, clad in yellow and green. He looked sickly as hell, despite having the appearance of a man in his 20′s.

Sister Karia is confused as to who this is, and Arden feels as if he’s met this dude somewhere, meanwhile Darius recognizes the man’s scent, and is completely baffled. “You…”

“Hello son.” DIO says, removing his cloak, revealing no scar on his neck, and a lack of vampiric fangs. His scent may still be there, but if Darius could see what his father is now, he’d be surprised. “I know that I… ruined thing, burnt a bridge to be exact, but now that we’re no longer dead men, I’m here to remedy that.” Darius remains silent, but DIO decides to continue talking. “I’ve come to apologize for placing you a slither of my soul in you just to ensure you avenge me, I wanted to apologize for my demise plaguing your mind, but I don’t want to do so with words.”

After learning about what his father’s spirit did to him, Darius believes that his old man has every right to be dead now. Ironic, especially since he never thought he’d do such a thing back in the day. Still, an apology? Part of him wants to say his father was bitter as a ghost, but knowing about the cruelty DIO has committed in the past, combined with what happened to him, he just wants to be left alone. “Save your breath.”

DIO frowns, especially since he never planned on how things would turn out. “I only did that because your were reconsidering your own plans to avenge me, but I think I realized something. You became a family man.” Now DIO captures his son’s attention. “You have a wife, a kid, both of them you ditched for revenge, and we both may have had a hand in that.”

“I swear if you hurt them-”

“Which is why I’m offering you a second chance to be with them.”

Darius is shocked to hear this. “What?”

“How does a second chance sound to my most successful son, how about you just be happy?” The blonde explains. “I was a fool my boy, a fool for having Marya instill cult-like loyalty to me into you, and it was foolish of me to keep pushing this loyalty onto you. You may be inhuman, but I failed to see that you’d be an unsuccessful monster, which is why I have a proposition.” There is a shorr silence, before DIO decides to speak again. “I have an ally that’s in touch with heaven, and he knows how to grant this power to me. All I ask of you is this,,, seek no quarrel with me, and I will fix your broken relationship with your beloved by removing you from the family business. Isn’t that nice?”

A second chance? An opportunity to be a better husband, an opportunity to be in his son’s life again. That sounded… nice. He pondered upon it for a while, how he wished he was better for Karia, how he could be there for Damian, but now that chance is right in front of him, without really needing to do anything. Still, some part of him knew that while that would be nice, he didn’t deserve any form of happiness, not with his mistakes. “No.”

DIO is not shocked by Darius’s answer, but he doesn’t see it as Darius just not caring about his own happiness. He sees it as idiotic defiance. The sickly blonde begins heading over to the door, and looks at L’oscurita. “Take your time.” He then leaves the home, leaving the grey haired man to confront the blind pillar.

“About time.” L’oscurita then immediately tackled Darius, and threw him out of the house window. The pillar is breathing heavily, but the grey haired man is ecstatic. “You’re gonna get what you deserve, traitor! NOW COME SHOW ME THE DEVIL YOU ONCE WERE!!”

NFL Week 2

Another week of amazing plays by wideouts across the country. Week 2 in the NFL left me hanging on to the edge of my seat because of how crazy the game of sports can be. The comeback by the Jets with under 1:40 seconds left and being down 13, to winning the game by 1 in regulation was nothing short of a miracle. How about the Ravens defense giving up huge plays to one this weeks ‘wideout of the week’ Tyreek Hill (tie with Jaylen Waddle) who used his speed to get behind the defense for touchdowns of 60 and 48 yards on back to back possessions. The Dolphins entered the 4th quarter down 21 points to Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens. With plays made by arguable to fastest duo in the NFL right now, you can see why both wideouts took home wow(wideout of the week) awards. Waddle scored the game winning touchdown and finished the afternoon with 11 catches, 171 yards, and 2TD’s. His all pro teammate Hill finished the game with 13 catches, 190 yards, and 2TD’s. Tyreek leads the league in with 284 yard and his counterpart is currently 3rd with 240 yards respectively. Waddle is 1st in YAC (yards after catch) with 116 and Hill is 2nd with 104 YAC. I’m sure they will continue to be headaches for opposing defensive coordinators. They have the ability to break tackles, shake defenders, and run past them. Only Tua can stop them because he’s the one delivering the rock to the outstanding playmakers at his disposal.

Cooper Kupp continued to add to his legacy by catching 11 passes for 108 yards and scoring on two sweet plays. The first was a tough over the shoulder catch in the left endzone that Kupp made look easy. His second touchdown came via a swing route to the right side where he shook a defender out of his pants to score his 3rd touchdown of the season. I’m loving watching Cooper line up in the backfield and run hitch routes against outside linebackers. Then line up at slot catch a basic and back to the backfield to catch swings for touchdowns. It’s poetry in motion watching him prosper in McVay’s genius.

Stefon the man Diggs!!! Had the Miami boys not did what they did to the Ravens, Diggs would’ve earned back to back WOW awards. The young lad had a hat trick and we not talking hockey. Scoring 3 TD’s in one game is nothing short of extraordinary. Diggs has had back to back 100 yard games ending Monday night with 148 yards on 12 catches. The Bills are looking scary. They were without number two wideout Davis and still scored at will. Tennessee had a disaster of a third quarter when Kyle Philips-rookie from UCLA who I began training as a 9th grader in Southern California muffed a punt. That turnover led to two Ryan Tannehill interceptions with one leading to a touchdown.

The other top-10 wideouts from last weeks list didn’t have performances worth mentioning. Justin Jefferson got locked the fuck up by Darius Slay of the Philadelphia Eagles. He twice picked off balls intended for Jefferson and had two breakups balls that should’ve been intercepted. Slay owned Jefferson in every aspect of Monday Nights game. To stay on my radar of relevancy Jefferson will have to bounce back over the next two weeks to get mentioned when I compile my 1st quarter top-10 list. Davante Adams was another one who got locked down. Although Adams managed to score he was held to two catches for 12 yards on seven pass attempts.

Honorable Mention

I like what the rookie 1st round pick out of USC Drake London is doing. There’s something about his game I didn’t like in college but I see why he was a 1st round pick. Standing at 6’4 and weighing in at 215, Drake’s a big boy and poses a huge size advantage over db’s. He attacks the ball at its high point and I saw him hurdle a defender this weekend. I’ll keep my eye on him and who know’s he just might make my list at the end of the season.

I didn’t think Christian Kirk was worth the money that he was paid which led to a market reset and some wideouts wanting a raise because of his contract (4yr-72million). But he’s currently number 7 in yards with 195 and has done that on 12 catches to go along with two scores. The Jaguars are not known for having an explosive offense. But with Kirk’s ability to stretch the field and rack up YAC, this will help put wins in the boxscore if he’s able to keep it up.

This next wideout who I could see cracking my top 10 is Amon-Ra St. Brown. Naturally I have a soft spot for him because I coached Amon in high school and began training him as an 8th grader while working with his older brother Equanimeous St. Brown of the Chicago Bears. Together we lost 1 game in the finals against St. John Bosco and won a national championship. I was able to watch the RA work and taught him some things that would make him successful at wideout. The numbers he put up in high school were ridiculous if you consider St. Brown only played past half-time in 6 out of 29 games. During those two seasons he had 2,529 yards on 132 catches and 44 receiving touchdowns. I believe he had 3 punt returns for touchdowns but I only counted the ones he had at wideout. Against the Washington Commanders he caught 9 balls for 116 yards and had two scores. He became the third wideout in league history to have 8+ catches in 8 straight games joining Antonio Brown and Michael Thomas of the New Orleans Saints. He set a record with 6 consecutive game of 8+ catches and a touchdown. Ra is definitely someone I can see climbing his way into my top-10 by seasons end.

TOH Little Lamb AU Masterpost

"Little Lamb AU" is an alternate universe for the owl house that i designed that is heavily based off of/inspired by this Golden Siblings AU. if u like this one i suggest taking a gander over there bcus its very very good

the base concept is the classic "luz arrives to the demon realm way earlier" trope, but with the little lemon twist of it being belos that finds her first and instead of her becoming another golden guard or being treated poorly in any capacity, belos sees luz as A Pure And Holy Lamb Sent From God To Remind Him Of His Righteous Mission

now belos sees luz as His Lamb and himself as The Shepherd because he is actually insane and also highly religious in this AU (i know many ppl see him as nonreligious or even atheist but hes VERY puritan christian in this one) and sees her as his own child now.

belos keeps luz away from magic and witches for as long as he can bcus his puritan views infect how he treats her. she becomes the princess of the boiling isles, though her face & name arent shared after her coronation so she can grow up in relative anonymity. but because belos is trying to run a fucking country, he doesnt have time to raise a child.

hunter is given full responsibility over luz, despite only being 2 years older. belos's reasonings behind this at first are "eh. caleb did fine with me!" but quickly devolves into him living vicariously through a human child who has an older brother that dedicates his entire life to protecting and raising her and would never ever abandon her. because belos needs severe mental help.

luz calls belos "uncle" and actually loves him & loves hunter but wants nothing more than to be free and learn magic and be a witch despite her uncle constantly saying that she cannot because she's human.

after her 14th birthday, luz begins to sneak out of the castle to explore the isles. she comes back before anyone notices she's even gone, but then one day she meets eda the owl lady and the king of demons...

Tags: discussion death of parental figures, childhood rejection, not canon compliant, angst got dialled up to 11, this was all made pre-reveal of the canon timeline, Highschool!David/Darlin, just be prepared to understand that I put my darlin through some shit.

Darlin who turns 13 and finds out they're a shifter. Their local department branch threatens to take them from their parents if they cannot find a pack. Their parents pack some bags and go looking

Darlin who was rejected from every other pack because they were seen as too much of a liability to be introduced to any pack. Packs either couldn't accept new shifters, didn't want to train a humanborn shifter, didn't want to accept an autistic child into the pack or simply made up excuses not to take Darlin in.

Darlin who watches their parents struggle with getting them into a pack, driving from state to state, trying to learn about magic and keep their child safe as they search for a place to help them develop as a shifter.

Darlin who leanred to use their magic on their own at a young age so they weren't a burden to potential packs who could take them in.

Darlin whose parents, Darius and Renko Lancer fought tooth and nail with Gabe Shaw and Frank Talbot to get their kid into a pack despite not being empowered.

Darlin whose family is accepted and took up residence at the edge of pack territory in a log cabin. They make it work

Darlin who's introduced to the pack at 15, it has been two years since Darren Lancer first found out he was a shifter and he is better at using his magic than most of the adults in the pack. He is seen as a prodigy and they quickly make friends with David, Milo and Asher. They are finally given a place to be themselves and have friends.

Darren has stayed with the pack for six months when they get the call during class that their parents were involved in an accident in their home. He runs home immediately and sees the scene. They learn that a rival pack attacked their home for being too close to their territory at the boundary of the shaw pack. Their parents fu=ought back and were killed in the incident. The department promises to look into the matter. The case runs cold.

Darren stays a month in his parents' cabin after their deaths. Nothing was touched. Darren has not cleaned it since their parents died. There is dried blood in some spots where the department did not reach. The smell of iron fills Darren's lungs and he has not been to school since. There are rumours about Darren spread by some of the adults of the pack. They think Darren has broken psychologically, they think that Darren is sick and they eventually call the authorities to have Darren taken out of the pack and placed in foster care. It is not successful and Gabe Shaw intervenes. A week after, Darren is placed under the care of Marie and Colm Greer. He is not officially adopted and has refuted the option of adoption. He is sixteen when he arrives into their home, his birthday passed and he didn't tell anyone. He instead spent it alone, cleaning his parents' cabin.

Darren Lancer gets into a fight with Christian after he takes their dad's jacket from them to put it to wash. He has a broken nose and a scar on his chest. The pack disapproves of their actions and threatens removal. Gabe however shows Darren how to clean and maintain leather jackets 1 month and 2 weeks after the death of their parents.

The department has Darren in holding after they were caught fighting with the rival pack that attacked their parents. Five wolves have had their limbs mangled and may not walk well again, Two wolves are in critical condition and a wolf is too traumatised to give testimony. They are found out to be the same wolves that attacked Darren's parents and Gabe intervenes to keep Darren out of trouble 1 month 3 weeks after the death of their parents.

Marie scolds Darren and admits them into therapy. Darren and Milo grow closer as a result of Colm's bad habits worsening. A month after the death of their parents, as marie cries alone in the kitchen, Darren sits next to her and hugs her. 2 months after feeling robbed, Darren feels connected to the Greers.

Darren starts to learn guitar and music as an outlet after being suggested by his therapist. Marie reminds Milo and Darren to keep it down a few nights but she's glad to see that they're getting along better. Darren rejoins pack meetings and social gatherings with the pack 3 months after the death of their parents. David makes friends with them much to the disapproval of the rest of the pack's adults. Gabe invites Darren over for dinner.

4 months after, Darren is officially dating David Shaw. Gabe invites Darren over again, and again, and again. Marie has taught Darren how to cook, clean and how to trust. She has taught him how to defend himself emotionally and physically. Gabe has taught Darren how to run free in the forests nearby as a wolf, he's taught Darren how to tussle and David is there to learn with him. Milo, David and Asher invite Darren to hang out regularly. Milo and Asher feign disgust seeing them kiss but they're glad seeing them both happy. David says he loves them and Darren isn't shy to say it too.

Darren turns 17 and David asks him to senior prom. It's one of the best nights he's had. They dance with Milo and pull stunts with Asher but the final dance is reserved for David before they leave the dance and spend the rest of the night together. It's been 5 months and Darren feels at peace.
