Brooklyn Nine-Nine has been one of the most consistent comedies on TV for years and one of the best.
In my opinion, the world is a much better place with this show in it. I love these characters and the good, healing energy this comedy series brings. It gives us characters that feel organic, beautiful, strong, dignified, yet with flaws and vulnerabilities. It perfectly balances comedy and drama.
The show very much feels like a television adaptation of Phil Lord and Chris Miller's 21 Jump Street (one of my favorite comedy films). I promise to continue watching it if it ever returns in any way, shape or form.

Killing It (prod. Dan Goor & Luke Del Tredici).
Craig Robinson and Claudia O'Doherty make a hilarious buddy pairing in their comedy series about constantly grinding up against the limitations of the American dream as struggling working but unhoused would-be entrepreneurs looking to get rich in South Florida. Episodes explore different aspects of popular grifts from motivational business seminars to discriminatory financial practices and the economics of becoming a social media influencer.
There’s also a surprising amount of serious criminal elements thanks to its many dumb but amusing Floridian characters. It takes a fairly silly premise about hunting snakes for prize money in the swamplands into a layered commentary about American capitalism.

Thinking about the posts I've seen where people are frustrated that the creative team behind Ted Lasso dropped hints repeatedly about a Ted/Rebecca pairing and then didn't follow through, only to further make fun of those fans for believing those hints. I wavered on whether I wanted to see them together, but it made sense from what we were shown.
It makes me glad for shows like Parks and Recreation and Brooklyn Nine-Nine. In particular, a lot of fans pair up Rosa and Gina in fic. When Rosa came out as bi on the show, she and Gina had a cute moment where they agree they'd be a great couple in another universe. I thought that was a great way to tell your fans that even if their ship isn't canon, it's not a misinterpretation.

"What's a boob, mom?"
"Jake, you're grounded"
(In his defense he was affectionately calling Charles a boob over the phone because boob for some reason is also slang for silly dumb-dumb and Charles explained that he whispered another woman's name in bed and Genevieve is Pissed but that's another story for another time)

Honestly i should have known to expect disappointment from the Ted Lasso finale because it has been shown that the only men i should trust to deliver a satisfying end of series are Dan Goor and Mike Schur.
yeah dan and mike are the only men i trust
