no yeah the first one was Howdy's brief stint (a couple hours) for the whole smoke inhilation minor injuries from the fire thing.

the second one was for Wally's festive lil car crash where he comes very close to Fuckign Dying!!! and. well. technically there are many different visits for that one cause he's in the hospital for a hot sec, but yk. technically only two hospital-worthy events

Day one is Formal Dance, and this is supposed to be like the aftermath of an exhausting night at the gala or something

So if you couldn’t tell this isn’t finished, but I think this is as good as good can get for me rn 😭 my process is usually scribble lines until I can make a limb out of it but in this case it got pretty out of hand to the point where I just couldn’t figure out where the line art was supposed to go… yeah

So I QUIT this one, I have to give myself a little pat on the back for making it this far, and now I can hopefully get a clearer idea for limbs in tmrs prompt 🤞🤞🤞

I just heard someone say that getting married is the hardest thing they've ever done.

I'm sorry but if getting married is the hardest thing you've ever had to do, I don't think I can talk to you. That's fine, that's totally okay if that's hard for you. I just need a long moment of silence for my misjudgment of the average amount of suffering that any given human experiences.

#and obviously theres shit like forced marriage and things #however #if you are choosing who to marry of your own volition. that shit should be easy #i cant even count with all of my fingers and toes the number of things that have been harder for me than getting married #for one. the reason im not yet legally married which is that im disabled and im in a very intenese match of Do I Deserve Rights #with the government #after that weve got recovering from an ed. not sure how im managing that. plus i couldve easily died #you know from malnutrition. not only from me starving myself but also due to severe malnutrition in my entire childhood #due to neglect and abuse. its tge reason i never grew properly. i have a hole in my jaw. its also why my jaw is underdeveloped #ive got severe insomnia and anxiety to the point that i wont sleep for days without strong meds #and cant really leave my house alone #i lived through untreated hypothermia and likely heat stroke as well and those were both MUCH harder than getting married #i experienced child labor and escaped what was probably a cult given that i had to run away to an undisclosed location #cut off contact with everyone i knew from it and remain anonymous #i ran away from home because of the abuse and when the cops were called on me i had to sit thete #with a straight face and listen to social workers and authorities tell me that what i was calling abuse was ok and that i had to go back #i had to fight for an education that i never really got. same for medical care including emergency medical care #anyway point being i will be very relieved to spend the rest of my life with my favorite person after all of that #there are no regrets or uncertainties about that. my life is the best its ever been and she only makes it better

I am not going crazy. Having excess beta brainwaves IS correlated to ADHD symptoms (in children and adolescents), specifically metacognition issues, inattention, and irritability:

#This is one study; but it’s interesting that usually the stereotype is having high theta; but that hasn’t really been proven #because correlation ≠ causation #which doesn’t mean much for the beta thing either but STILL #They were looking mainly for high theta and found a lot of diagnosed ADHD kids with high beta and no ODD #I want my brain readings. I want my brain readings n o w #Two more days. I bet they’re gonna say I don’t have ADHD because of the high beta #I bet they’re gonna say I just have anxiety #Again EEG isn’t alone a proven method to diagnose ADHD but I took a written diagnostic too #so maybe this is just to determine what medications will work???? idk I definitely passed the personal history test lmfaoo #But I have a bad feeling I’m gonna get shrugged off #because when they were asking me questions I felt like they were cutting my answers short a little #but that could be because I was infodumping #But yeah my beta power with eyes open is 5.70 and the normal range (if I’m reading it correctly) is 3.65–0 #Beta is supposed to be related to focus so maybe it’s possible that some ADHD people are TOO focused on too many things at once #which leads to focus issues VS some have “sleepy brains” with high theta which can’t focus on anything???#idk #ehehehehe feed me scientific studies and numbers #yummy #Yeah it’s not that my brain “runs slowly and is spaced-out” it’s that I can’t get it to stop accelerating and latching onto everything #and in order to do one thing I have to rip the suction-cupped tentacles of my brain off five different things before I can focus #which LEADS to anxiety because I can’t always peel myself away from everything else so I’m just stuck there #like a statue #trying in vain to break out from the inside #hence the anxiety

I am so good at gas lighting myself, that I will take painkillers, only feel mild pain afterwards, and then convince myself that I was wrong for taking them to begin with because clearly things weren't that bad.

Everyday I get less and less tolerant of people acting like Ed overreacted and Izzy did absolutely nothing to justify what happened to him in episode 10.

Everyday I get less and less tolerant of people acting like cutting off someone's toe while they sleep and forcing them to eat it is ever a justified action!!!! It does not matter what the person you're doing it to did in order to "justify" having it happen to them, you are still maiming someone!

Besides “Ed’s becoming a different person so Izzy has the right to be upset” does not track

I don't think i have ever in my time scouring the Izzy Hands tag seen someone say that Izzy has the right to think or do the things he's done. I've seen people explain the why of those things, but never justifying the actions. Someone explaining why Izzy thinks his actions were the right choices in the moment is not the same as them actually saying that Izzy's actions were the right thing to do.

I think the reason people see these things as lesser than the choking or toe incident is because of the subconscious tendency we have to deemphasize emotional abuse.

I think the reason people are trying to justify Ed permanently maiming Izzy is because they subconsciously think that some abuse is okay and maybe even deserved if the victim is an unpleasant or "bad" person. I mean this person literally said "people acting like [...] Izzy did absolutely nothing to justify what happened to him." as though what Izzy did justified what happened.

The pain Ed caused Izzy was not worse or “disproportionate” to what Izzy caused Ed just because it was physical.

yeah actually it fucking was disproportionate. like, yeah, the things Izzy said were supremely shitty, but i've had people say things to me that were way worse and I'd chose the mental trauma of those cruel words over the physical trauma of getting my toe cut off (and the mental trauma of being forced to eat my own fucking toe) literally any goddamn day.

"just because it was physical" as though there's gonna be no mental element to that trauma. jfc

#vibez tbh #anyway . i have my medical tape off rn bc i just took a shower #will remove this thing then put it back on . but anyway slightly sinking in. had a what have i done what have i #become kind of moment . like i am no longer in pain so i can think now . i cant feel my nose or my thighs or my jaw properly #looked at my face and i was like oh . ok. got held up at iran passport security started saying my prayers #and they were like we dont think you are the person in your passport. and i had to show them evidence etc like #yeah i literally am unrecognisable as a person actually. same w the UK e-gates #i have someone else hair laser glued onto mine. i have a part of my body #grafted onto another part of my body. i had my nose broken and restructured.#i had half of my corneal tissue removed to see better. on their own these are all minor #but altogether at the same time i look. different.#it's so fascinating. interesting . etc. like genuinely what the fuck #to wake up and just look like a completely different person . knowing you have been rearranged and subtracted from and added to.#i feel like an art project. i feel like art. i feel like a monster. i feel fascinated.#i feel fascinating.#still have 8 lives left its alright .#when i had femto lasik done (which is supposed to be pretty much painless) i experienced the worst pain of my life #this is because i forgot to tell them about the grafting under my eyes and because there were two initially imperceptible wounds/scars #in both of my eyes. i felt the heat and pressure inside my eyes and i felt them cutting into #infinitely small points of pain. my head felt warm and my eyes were melting. my doctor apologised for not seeing them before #and he told me to focus on the green light in the middle of the red and i did . and they spread into a thousand stars #and i kept repeating to myself JUST GREEN NOTHING ELSE JUST THE GREEN NOTHING ELSE until it was over #i spent the next day in agony despite the pressure lenses and the apologies #but that constellation of green and red overlayed on nothingness #and patterns generated by blood vessels and lasers #was one of the most beautiful things i have ever seen to this day.#maybe the most beautiful thing . i dont know.

Hey y’all! I had a, uh, moderate-to-severe allergic reaction* yesterday. I ended up having to take a few benadryl and slept like twelve hours because the migraine was intense, and now I am mostly better but my brain is Not Making Decisions (well. I am still functioning enough for work but that’s different braining). What plushies should I sew next? Should I make the mammoth his baby tusks, or should I start sewing doll clothes for the 14.5″ doll (aka the AG WellieWishers line) that should be arriving in the mail today? Or should I make something else entirely? I guess I could try to design a new plushie pattern, but last time I tried to design something post-allergic-reaction I ended up with The Hamster Pattern Where I Forgot Hamsters Had Limbs Or Ears lol

*I have no idea what the scale is for people without weird mast cell issues but it wasn’t anaphylaxis? probably**? **sometimes when I tell doctors my allergic reactions affect blood pressure they are like “that only happens with anaphylaxis” but I am pretty sure that’s not necessarily true. That said, if you don’t have a history of Weird Allergies maybe go to a doctor if your allergic reactions start affecting your cardiovascular system. I am both not a doctor and an outlier who should not have been counted lol
