there's something about the way "francesca" represents lust yet is a song declares everlasting love and utmost devotion that stands the trial of time; the way "butchered tongue" represents violence but sounds so careful and fragile, and "unknown/nth" is his most defeated song dedicating to love...i do think unreal unearth is his best album yet, and most private one at that. like there are parts i'm not sure i'm supposed to listen to. self titled sounds so hopeful to wasteland, baby! feels like a promise to this. raucous, forlorn sound of hurt....to end it with first light...that all things end but we'll still have tomorrow and new light to look forward to...even if we've just been through hell...do you get it. do you feel me.

Just noticed, it seems to be somewhat implied that croissant/timekeeper is disabled in some way. My theory here is either they have a condition that causes them to slowly lose the ability to use their legs, or croissant was injured around the age she was when timekeeper left in the save the future timeline.

Director Croissant holds her wrench like this in every story sprite she has. As if she's using it like a cane. Granted, her actual running sprites do not include her using it in this way a lot of the time, but it could be she has more mobility and potentially less pain some times than others when walking/standing/running.

Additionally, there are very little instances of Timekeeper actually standing. Clearly she can move her legs, but it makes me think at this point she is barely able to walk if at all. Timekeeper being timekeeper, I could see it just being that she likes floating, but I think this together with the idea of Director Croissant using a cane makes a lot of sense.

Okay, to simplify it instead.

-Director Croissant Cookie hates herself. She doesnt trust her past self and even telks String Gummy cookie that she is just someone that he shouldnt waste his time talking to or trying to suade into doing what is right as she thinks that Present Croissant Cookie wouldn't listen.

-This whole Time Manipulators destroying thing was basically her Goodbye, this was her way of saying that she's given up and that maybe things would be better off without her, or atleast she thinks so.

-She gives String Gummy Cookie the orders to go back in time and stay with Present Croissant Cookie, basically giving him his dream of living a life that was free from all this nonsense and trouble, A life where she would have been happy in, A life where she thinks String Gummy Cookie would be happy in.

- She doesn't realize that it was possible to be loved as you are, and that you can be the Happiness to someone else's life, and since she has already given up on living, she gives String Gummy Cookie the Option to live her dream.

- The sad thing about all this is that, Croissant Cookie gets to see String Gummy one last time since he comes back, and you know how her eyes were already closed when String Gummy cookie got to her? I think that properly backs up my theory that She really did all this so she can finally disappear, she was accepting death.

- When she opens her eyes, it's her confirmation of watching String Gummy Cookie leaving A Confirmation that he will be happy in the Past, He will be happy seeing everything back then, and that he will be happy without her, That's why she doesn't cry out, of Tear up during the ending, if anything she's smiling, because she can finally die and leave this existence, allowing String Gummy Cookie to live on with the dream she's always wanted without the burden of having her around, or atleast that's what she thinks would have made him happy.

- Spoiler alert: String Gummy Cookie is not Happy.
