They were on sale because the store location closes down. They're perfect for summer and very comfy! (I have to do a slight fit alteration but they're also fine as is.)
Check out the cute pattern on them (first detail picture). Aren't the little leaves adorable?
The golden short-sleeved crochet cardigan is thrifted and the blouse handmade (by me!). The lace headband is also handmade (by a friend). This is very casual mori but summer is just not suitable to the usual layers of mori kei.
[Id]Two close up pictures: one of the intricate leaves pattern on a cream-coloured pair of summer pants, one of the bigger leaves pattern on a brown summer blouse. The second close-up shows a young white woman with glasses and two braids draped in front of her face. She's wearing the brown blouse with the leaves pattern on it and a golden-coloured crocheted short-sleeved shrug.
The next 3 pictures show the same young white woman with glasses and two braids posing in front of some green shrubbery, extending her hand invitingly to the viewer, looking ino the distance and slightly crouching down.[/id]
I love doing things with my own hands, all kind of things, I really do. I love wearing them, exposing them, till this moment I always thought art is communication, and if I can put on something that I made by myself it’ll surely speak for me (so I can keep silence like all self-respecting artists do).
so, this is a shrug, that I crocheted, my very first wearable (s’pose bags don’t count).
Another Chips-mandated crochet break. This part of the pattern has more herringbone double crochets than I hoped 😭 cat cuddles came at an opportune time ahah.
I’m finally getting back into the grove of crocheting. This is the first sleeves/ shrug I’ve ever made. I crocheted and designed it. I really love the colors. Hope you like it :)
I made this for my friend's birthday and only finished it the morning of so I didn't get a good pic lol.
It's freehanded and it was really fun to get to vary the colours and stitches for every row, I definitely need to do more freeform projects in the future.
Mittens I made for someone's baby sister. I made similar ones in blue for the kid I babysit sometimes
May? I think may.

My first ever actual clothing item, a crochet shrug! (Yes it's on my matress.)
This was made around the end of May for my best friend, and she loved it (she looks amazing in it)

Cat ear beanie with ruffled brim rather than folded, for the same friend that the shrug was for. One of her favourites ^^
July-August, I believe, but I'm really not positive

A maple leaf because, fun fact, I love maple leaves, and have been wanting to make one for ages, and finally got the thread yarn to make it. It didn't turn out exactly how I'd hoped, but I still think it's cute ^^
About August timeframe

Potholders, hot pads, whatever you call them, things that you can put a hot pan on so it doesn't burn your table. I made three colour variations of circles and squares
June-July

Keychains! My first time actually making keychains, and they turned out pretty well! The jellyfish was a commission (they loved it!) And the mushrooms were based off of me and my best friend, because my hair was split dyed, and she wanted one that would be pink because part of her hair is pink
All made in July-August

Two pairs of dragon scale fingerless gloves. I'd shared the colourful ones before, but not the gray ones, but both pairs have scales on only one side so that they're still usable.
January-February?

I made a bunch of these, mesh bucket hats, while I was at a camp, intending on selling them and having them be cheaper since they're mesh. They didn't sell, but they look pretty cool!
July ^^
I'm gonna have to make another part oh goodness I'm so sorry
I am currently selling a few shrugs and one of the ponchos ☆
If you want a custom order for any color shrug or poncho, don't hesitate to contact me (i got you, boo)
I have fibromyalgia and social anxiety disorder, so finding an income is quite hard. Being autistic tho, and with it having a strong hyperfocus for anything that sparks intrigue in me, has really helped me stay determined with crocheting.

More cardigan progress from today. While my experience making this project has largely been annoyance and frustration, I’m really liking how it looks and sits on me. Very comfy. Finished the collar today, made and seamed the sleeves. Also spent like 40 minutes twisting yarn into rope for the lacing on the back. All that’s left is pockets, finishing the edging so that the faux fur collar flows better, and weaving in ends. Photos aren’t the best, but I’ll try and get better ones when I finally finish this thing lol. I live alone and there’s one corridor in my house that has a big mirror and gets vaguely decent light.
In brighter news, I made too much of the rope for lacing, and Jum thinks it’s the best toy ever.
made some sleeves! lightly modified this pattern (you can see my notes in the projects tab -- tldr: shortened the sleeves & the back).
wore it to a drag show last night and got v drunk. went to the bathroom and had to do a full romper strip and then couldnt figure out how to put it back on
