Yk I see a lot of people complaining about how the fight against Ms Dodds is rushed but personally I felt it was actually good the way they put it. In the book I did love the fight with Percy’s first time ever seeing a monster attack him and having to fight back and all but the way that the show sorta put it where he panicked and opened the pen onto her I felt was also pretty good.

Like imagine if you were Percy and you were pushed to the ground and all you had was a pen that was shaking.

You would open that pen in a panic

I mean yes the fight would have been cool, but I feel that the show put Percy more into a panic mode where he did what was closest to him.

Idk I just think that it would be more reasonable to panic and open a pen and accidentally kill her for a teen at least.
