What is a quote you find comfort in?
"Every world has its end. I know that's kinda sad, but... That's why we gotta live life to the fullest in the time we have. At least, that's what I figure."
This one from Sonic and the Black Knight, it reminds me to stop worrying about the future and just do the best I can now. Also that something ending doesn't diminish its meaning.
That quote and game have been such a comfort to me at some of my worst times, which is why this is my blog header:

What is your favorite breakfast food?
If you mean food that's generally considered breakfast food, then waffles!
If you mean my favorite thing to eat for breakfast, then chicken cooked in herbs or marinade. It's easy for me to make, and starting the day with a lot of protein seems to reduce my chronic fatigue.

Hi hun! Sorry for the delayed answer.
My comfort foods when I'm sad...
I think for whole meals it's definitely chili con carne. It's spicy and hot and it makes me feel good and with rice and some fresh veggies and lime on the side, uuurughhsudifj so good. ( Spicy foods in general make me really happy. Body says: Danger, release the endorphins ! )
For snacks I really like this kiwi and strawberry protein yogurt drink. It's sooooo good, and then with some moomin biscuits on the side, I'll cheer up in no time.
It heals my inner child <3

oh goodness, there’s so many! fresh cut grass, white lilies, coffee brewing, the smell of a new book, the smell of old books, and the absolutely heavenly combination of coffee & books that hits as soon as you walk into a b&n 💗

Hmmm there are several but one of my all time favorites is from Lord of the Rings.

That fresh earthy smell that always comes after rain. <3 I think it might be the mud. XD
Would you rather live in the mountains, city, beach, or the forest?
I'm more a mountain girl so I'd pick that one, but I also love forests and beaches. Farm sims always plop you in the middle of those three, can I live there? XD
How do you take your tea?
Iced black tea, specifically the way my aunt makes it because she doesn't overdo it with the sugar like pretty much everywhere else in the US does.
OK, I haven't been to a lot of it, but from what I hear that's true. And a lot of places have unsweetened iced black tea, but that just tastes like water to me.
Hopefully that answer isn't too horrific.

Well, I had a decent time at the dentist. I thought it was going to be a lot worse but they were really nice and my teeth look better.

Buying my own house. I didn't really have the opportunity to have my roots firmly put down, but to have a place that's just yours would be great.

Ooh! I'm actually gonna suggest a new game I've been playing on PC. Idk if it's on consol or not but it's called Bear Bed and Breakfast. You're this cute little brown bear who starts fixing up abandoned places to make bed an breakfast stays. You get to decorate all the rooms and make the floor plans and it's just so cute and fun! But there's also a spooky undertone to the story and I'm loving it! 😍

I think the smell of a fire/smoke is what's most relaxing to me. Like a campfire on a summer evening or a fire pit in the fall with burning marshmallows 💞

Cottage : what does your dream cottage look like?
I think these two are pretty cute!! I don’t really need anything too big as it will just be me and my boyfriend, we won’t be having any children. I like how these two are smaller and near forested areas with a lot of different plants. I know something like this isn’t attainable for me however because I know I will never be able to afford a house away from the city (well a house in general, I am soon going to be applying for disability).
clothesline: what is your favorite staple of cottagecore fashion?
I really like apron dresses, or those baggy dresses. I only have one dress like that and I usually layer underneath. I don’t wear a lot of cottagecore dresses or clothes in general. I am a leggings and baggy shirt type of individual due to my sensory issues and a lot of not soft baggy clothes cause me to be over stimulated. I have been trying to wear more cardigans lately, I just don’t have a lot.
