NOTE:
The Coronation of Victoria as Queen of the United Kingdom took place on Thursday, 28 June 1838, just over a year after she succeeded to the throne of the United Kingdom at the age of 18.
The ceremony was held in Westminster Abbey after a public procession through the streets from Buckingham Palace, to which the Queen returned later as part of a second procession.

I LOOK AT KATE AND SEE “QUEEN.”
“There’s a photograph of her arriving at the abbey and looking over her shoulder directly into the camera. Compare it to one taken in the same place on her wedding day and see the transformation. There’s a steeliness to her gaze that wasn’t there 12 years ago. There’s an alchemy at work that the other royals must desperately wish they could bottle.” - The Sunday Times

It’s becoming more and more awkward for the people addicted to hating Meghan Markle to explain their gripes without sounding racist. Maybe you independently aren’t racist, but you’re swallowing racist criticism without using your head.
Start actually reading the news. Everything she does, a white royal does, and no one makes a peep. Y’all look legitimately dumb calling her a narcissist and I’m certain you know it, but don’t want to take the L of admitting you’re wrong.
There’s a reason dogwhistles are so effective. They get you “non-racists” in on their abuse brigade.

Quote
Leaving at five in the morning, Surrey and Richmond were part of this huge flotilla that landed at Calais before ten. With the royal party, the two attended Mass at once [...] then [...] went on to their lodgings, possibly at the Exchequer with the King himself. The Duke of Richmond had forty men in his entourage, as did the other two dukes, Norfolk and Suffolk. Surrey himself is the first named of the earls, with twenty-four attendants for him, the same as for his recently acquired father-in-law, John de Vere, Earl of Oxford. In his first appearance on such an occasion, Sir John Dudley, the virtual ruler of England twenty years later, had only eight attendants, and so did Edward Seymour, now advanced from Master of the Horse for Richmond to one of the four riding Masters of the royal household. Wyatt had only four attendants, almost the smallest retinue.
