Thanks to @words-after-midnight for tagging me! (You can see their two boys answer their questions here.) I'll answer for the Beatty team ^^
My questions are:
1. What are you afraid of?
Gareth: Marcus Adler.
Hannah: Uhhh, not to get real dark here but, honesty? Dying in front of someone I love because I'm an empath and that'd suck, like, extra hard, you know?
Reeve: Disappointing them.
2. What's your favorite place in the world?
Gareth: Shit, I don't know. *long pause* The Chaffee Zoo?
Hannah: Death Valley Nut & Candy Company!
Reeve: Probably our kitchen? Or my garage.
3. Who would you trust most to keep a secret?
Gareth: Hannah.
Hannah: Gareth.
Reeve: Trust's got nothing to do with it. Some secrets are dangerous.

Thank you @fanged-solace and @cljordan-imperium for these ancient tags! Here's some Invisible Girl that I'm working on...
With his head tilted towards the strings and his hand a graceful arch holding the bow, [Paris] looked like a painted saint come to life, blood and bones and breath. His fingers flew, creating music, but from the set of his shoulders, the tilt of his head, he could be relaxed, sleeping.
Velia realized her mouth was open, and promptly closed it.
“See?” Antonio whispered, pointing like he’d personally invented musicians. “He’s good, and didn’t I say so?”
“He’s something,” Velia said, because he was, and she wasn’t sure what on earth it was yet.
Antonio laughed out loud.
I'll tag anyone and everyone, and also @eccaiia @chayscribbles @outpost51 @sarandipitywrites @ashfordlabs @memento-morri-writes and @writingamongther0ses <3
i was tagged by @zeenimf, thank you! sorry that this took a few days, unfortunately my brain is full of bees
here's the last lines i wrote for Gabi and Euna's Fabulous Space Vegas Adventure in gemini heist (i'm not exactly sure bc i jump around my draft a LOT, and also, aforementioned brain bees)
“We should put a few credits in a slots machine,” Euna suggested as they exited the hover. “Just to see what happens.”
“What? We can’t do that,” Gabi protested. “We don’t have much time until the Captain comes back, and we shouldn’t be spending more credits—”
“I need a break, Gabs.” Euna playfully nudged Gabi’s shoulder with her elbow. “You need a break.”

Rules: Find five lines based on the prompts, then change one prompt at the end for whomever does it next.
My prompts are:
A line said to a loved one:
I pull away and hook a pinky finger around hers. “Promise?”
“Promise.”
A line said with fondness:
She flicks out her pink, heart-shaped sunglasses and settles it on top of my head. “There. Those look way better on you.”
A line that is whispered:
She says, “I know.” Quietly. So quietly I almost can’t hear her.
I say, “When you make a promise, you’re supposed to keep it.”
A line that hurts:
She grips me tighter. I can tell it’s taking all her strength because her hands are shaking. “We’re close to the border now. Just a day’s walk. You can’t cross without a passport, so you find—” She stops to catch her breath. “You get away from where all the people are. You find a part of the fence that has no guards. In the prairies. Or in the woods. There will be cameras, so you need to be fast. Spark through, and run. Just run.”
I can’t. The words are about to burst out, burning my throat raw. I can’t.
A line that is shouted:
“We can’t get medicine,” she bursts out, slicing with both hands. “We can’t go to a hospital. We can’t go to a shelter. We have to keep going before I get worse and we are wasting time. Get in the car.”
Thank you for the tag @squarebracket-trickster ! This line is from my new dutch wip.
The atmosphere in the foyer of the airship was electrifying. The lady next to Anne, a stout woman in a dress that could put the clientele of the Parisian salons to shame, sighed.
"Emmerich, darling," she said, turning to her fiddling husband. "Stop worrying about ghosts. It's so unscientific of you. Unbecoming of a professor's husband."
Anne pulled the newspaper up to her face to stop herself from staring. Make yourself small she thought, or else they'd notice you eavesdropping.
I cheated... more than one line... woops...
Tagging @chayscribbles @daisywords @notwritinganyflufftoday and aaaanyone who would like to share something!
i know i said i wasn't going to post much about this new version of the gemini heist first draft until it was finished but the revised Space Vegas trip is turning out so much more chaotic than i ever planned and i couldn't help it
