I had a post a while ago about making sure your dnd character WANTS to be an adventurer a while ago, something else I’ve been thinking about is the importance of making a dnd character that WANTS to be in a group and have some sort of relationship with other PCs. the Group Nature of ttrpgs means lone wolves just aren’t feasible. if you really want to play a lone wolf or antisocial character at the beginning then I highly recommend telling your dm and the others players that you plan on forming bonds along the way and growing out of that mindset. otherwise why are you playing dnd, a group activity that involves cooperation and building relationships? Just Write A Book if you don’t wanna be in a group

I don't feel like enough people are talking about the fact that the show answered the question, "What makes a ghoul go feral?"
Like, can we talk about that? Ghoulification isn't a life hack to immortality, it's a terminal illness with a fate worse than passing away. It's something that evidently affects them both mentally and physically while they deteriorate, and the only temporary relief is that medicine (was that an inhaled version of Radaway? Imagine the implications of them being dependent on that, holy shit).
We now know that every ghoul is on a timeline to losing their self, eternally victims of a zombie bite they can't hide away from in a radiated world. Anyone can become a ghoul. Anyone can die a ghoul. Anyone can lose their control, their psyche, as a ghoul. And they’re one vial away from it happening.
How do you deal with knowing there's a fate worse being raided or shot out there for you?

Norm MacLean didn't like that he felt like a coward so he decided to be the head bitch. The moment. The brains behind the operation. Who's operation? His operation because this is his show now. The entire show could've just been his arc in the vault and I would have been happy. He brings the brains. The cunning. The Perception, even. He never quite felt right with the culture of vault 33 and the more he uncovers the more that makes sense for him. He is bringing the sheer force of will now that he has something to be willful about. He never lacked ability. Only motivation and ob boy does he have it. He hid in a hole once then decided no. Im not a baby brother hiding in a hole. Im the badass staring Vault-Tec in the eye who says I fucking dare you. And i find that incredibly sexy of him.
