Warnings: some swearing, few thoughts of insecurity, but that';s it. Bad writing lmao. horrible plot too. lazy makeouts too.

Synopsis: You escape to the royal gardens after a shitty start to the ball, but running into an enchanting stranger turns your night for the better. Based on Enchanted by Taylor Swift. Part of a series In The Works.

A/N: Wow this is so bad lmaooo I'll fix it another time but I'm posting it now so I can get into the schedule and be done with!! This is my little very rushed entry for @sarahscribbles Birthday Celebration I LOVE YOU SARAH and you deserve SO MUCH BETTER than this lmao i had so much more planned for this but sadly it all failed with having no wifi this entire vaca, so this is the best I can do. I do promise a part two some time though.

There I was again tonight

Forcing laughter, faking smiles

Same old tired, lonely place

The night, in conclusion, was an utter failure. You had been truly excited as the weeks neared to tonight’s ball. You had hoped for an evening full of dancing and laughs, twirling around in the arms of a handsome guy and enjoying light conversation, maybe even some good food.

So far, the food was the only thing that held out.

You watched from your corner as pairs danced across the floor as music and easy chatter filled the room. Women in dresses of all colours of the rainbow, and men in nicely fitted suits and uniforms. Everyone wore masks, elegant and with elaborate designs that complemented each person’s attire. “This is a waste.” You grumbled to yourself as you tugged at your mask to adjust it in place.

“Perhaps,” One of your friend’s slid into the vacant seat beside you, face flushed from dancing. “You should go ask someone for a dance,” “What?” You snorted. “That’s an ugly look. It’ll seem like I’m desperate,”

“But you are,” She pointed out.

You rolled your eyes, picking at the plate of fruit delicacies in front of you. “It’s alright. I don’t feel like dancing anyway,” She raised an eyebrow, “Were you not talking about how excited you were to spend all night dancing just this morning?” You threw her a look, getting up without bothering to finish your plate. “I think I’ll go for a walk in the gardens,” You said as you quickly fled out of the room.

Being out of the stuffed ballroom should have made you feel better, but you couldn’t help but feel as if you were still caged.

Tonight was meant to be fun. It was meant to be an opportunity. For..for socialising, and meeting people, and making friends and, funnily you thought, perhaps meet someone for the night.

Instead, you walked further through the gardens, trying to ignore all the giggles you heard from lovesick couples as you passed them. When you got further enough from the palace, you slipped off your mask, huffing as you carefully sat down in the wide fields, surrounded by blooming flowers and trees basking in the moonlight.

You took a deep breath, trying to ease the sense of disappointment that grew like an ugly beast in your chest. Caught up in your feelings, you hadn’t realised someone snuck up on you until you heard a soft crunch from behind you. Your head whipped around immediately, assuming a danger perhaps, until your eyes fell on the man.

Good gods.

The man smiled briefly, his mask dangling from his fingers as he seemed to look you over. His hair rested in dark curls on his shoulders, and with the way the moon peeked lightly through the trees and shone on him, he looked heavenly, with a perfect jawline and flawless skin, cheekbones that looked sharp to cut, and eyes that shone with curiosity and mischief. He fit nicely into his suit, with a lean frame that filled the clothing perfectly.

He was, as mortals said, a work of art. A being artists and sculptures would surely sell their homes and families to try and capture his beauty.

I need to calm down.

But he’s gorgeous. There was no hiding it, and you were absolutely sure you stared too long because he raised an eyebrow and the corner of his lips twitched upwards.

Walls of insincerity, shifting eyes and vacancy

All I can say is, it was enchanting to meet you

“Sorry,” You muttered quickly, turning your head back to stare holes at the vast openings of the field. This had to be a joke, but a little part of your brain couldn’t help but get excited.

But that was stupid- the man probably found you a little pathetic, out here all alone rather than enjoying the ball. And you firmly reminded yourself that there would be no making out and naked activities in the royal gardens. And maybe your friend sent him, and if you were too eager you’d seem truly desperate and it would be oh so humiliating and you’d never be able to show your face again in public and-

“I see you’ve found my secret place,” His voice interrupted your spiral of thoughts.

“Sorry,” You said quickly again. “I wasn’t aware that people could own areas of the royal garden,” You covered your hand with your mouth in horror, refusing to look at the man behind you.

What the fuck was that?

It was quiet and then you heard him chuckle, as if amused by such a rude remark. He made his way to another part of the garden and took a seat. “You’re right, forgive me, it is open to everyone during the balls,”

You didn’t answer him, or even acknowledge him. Your cheeks were blazing red with horror. From the corner of your eye, you could see him sitting under a tree a little away from you, head ducked low as he…

Is that a book? Is he reading? At a ball?

You looked behind you to the sound of the light music and chatter coming from the palace, then back at the man by the tree. “Why aren’t you inside?”

“Why aren’t you inside?” He replied, not even looking up from his book.

“I asked first,”

He looked up slightly then, raising a perfect eyebrow. So? He challenged silently.

You rolled your eyes, turning away from him to watch the leaves dance lazily in the evening breeze. You folded and unfolded your hands in your lap. “I got bored of dancing,” Right.

He didn’t answer right away, a few beats passed as soft music and gentle wind filled the space. Then, he said slowly, as if entertained by all this, “Liar,”

Your head whirled back to stare at him. “Excuse me?” “Liar,” He said, shrugging like it’s no big deal.

“You’re calling me a liar?” “Is there anyone else here to call a liar?” You could see the small twitch of his lips, and how a little smirk forms as he watches you.

Shit. You had to fight down your own little smile. Perhaps he’s an ass, and maybe a little suspicious- but he’s got a lot more banter and brain in him than everyone else back in the ballroom.

“And why are you calling me a liar?”

“Because,” He closed his book dramatically, leaning forward and you could feel trouble radiating off of him. “No one comes to a royal ball to ‘get bored of dancing’,”

“You don’t know that,” “I absolutely do. It’s the biggest event of the year, people come specifically prepared to dance until they can’t feel their feet,” “Fine,” You huffed. “It was getting stuffy, and I was tired of all the war talk and gossip, so I came out here for fresh air,”

Again, that stupid smirk. “You’re lying,” He said in an overly annoying sing-song voice. “I’m not!” You glared at him. “You are horribly rude,”

“Yet you find it amusing,” “I absolutely don’t,” Childishly, you stuck your tongue out at him, and he laughed, throwing his head back lightly and filling the space between you with such a warm, delightful sound.

The playful conversation starts

Like passing notes in secrecy

You really couldn’t stop the smile that broke across your face. “Alright then, if you suddenly know everything, why do you think I’m out here?” You asked after his laughter died down.

“Hm…” He tapped a finger to his chin. “No one wanted to dance with you,” You gasped loudly. “Are you calling me undesirable?” “No m’lady,” He had that awfully cute smile again. “You said that, I just said I think no one wants to dance with you,”

You shook your head. “You are unbelievable! You know what, you’re terrible company,” He shrugged. “Then go back inside, perhaps get a chance to dance with the prince,” He said it easily, like he could care less if you stayed or left, but you had the strange feeling that he was challenging you to stay.

You hummed, pretending to think it over. “You know what, I don’t want to go inside,” “But I thought I was terrible company?” “You are,” You smiled innocently. “But I like the gardens,” He’s too funny to pass up on.

“Or perhaps you like me,” He had that shit-eating grin, and something in your chest started tingling, secretly hoping you could get more of his smiles. “Besides, you’ll pass up the chance to catch the crown prince’s attention just to sit in some garden?” “Blond isn’t really my type,” Stop talking stop talking stop talking.

He frowned, staring at you weirdly, clearly taken aback but such a dumb statement.

“Blond…isn’t your type,” He repeated, and you simply nodded. “So…you’d give up the chance at marrying the next ruler of this realm…because he’s blond,” “Exactly,” Like it made perfect sense. “What can I say? It’s less competition for the other women. I’m being kind,”

“You’re insane,”

“You asked!”

“Yes but come on, it’s the crown prince,” He raised an eyebrow. “Would you rather marry the farmer’s son? The baker boy, perhaps?”

You rolled your eyes. “No, stupid. There’s other royalty around, obviously. But it’s not like anyone has a chance,” “Other royalty?” He got up then, gracefully making his way over with his book and mask in hand. He sat down beside you. “Do indulge me, what other royalty is there?” Holy. Shit.

It took you a second to properly process his question. Maybe you lacked romance in your life, maybe you were too isolated, or maybe you were just really desperate for some decent conversation tonight, but you felt like you were losing your everloving mind.

He was breathtaking. You thought from afar he was beautiful, but now this close? You felt the air die in your throat as you properly looked over his face, your eyes catching on every detail.

His sharp angles.

The exact green of his eyes- emerald, pretty much identical to the jewel.

And the way he looked when the light shine of the moon hit his face? And the wind gently combed through his hair? He looked heavenly.

Godly, even.

And it was enchanting to meet you

All I can say is, I was enchanted to meet you

You were definitely staring (again) and he turned to look at you, those pretty lips forming another stupid smirk. “Yes?” You looked away. “Nothing. What was the question?”

He chuckled. “What other royalty is there?” “Oh, yes,” You frowned. “Are you new around here?” “No, why?” “There’s two princes. Prince Thor, and prince Loki,” “Ah right,” He pursed his lips. “But only one is looking for a bride,” “Yes well, all princes must eventually find a partner, no?” He shrugged. “I suppose so. So, if you won’t go for the blond, you’ll go for his brother? Woo him with your snarky comments and strange conversation habits?”

You smacked his arm lightly. “You really do not know how to talk to a lady. And no one ever said I’m “going for” anyone’s brother. I don’t want to marry a prince,” “That is the biggest lie I have ever heard,” He pointed at you accusingly. “Everyone wants to marry royalty,”

“Nope,” You shook your head. “Not me,” But you could tell from the way his eyes shone with mischief and the smile on his lips that he could so easily read through you.

“So you don’t have epic fantasy daydreams about marrying a handsome prince and gaining status, riches and power and living in the palace? Absolutely none about becoming royalty of Asgard? Nothing?”

“Weeellll,” You smiled wide. “Perhaps,” “Was he blond, your prince?” “I just told you, I’m not into blonds,” He nodded, like this was absolutely serious and he was understanding it better. “Right, so you had dreams about prince Loki then,” “What?!” Your eyes widened. “I didn’t say that!” “You hinted at it,” He pointed out.

“You- I did not! You are so arrogant, thinking you know everything!” You glared at him, face flushed from his accusation. I don’t even know why I’m even having this conversation with a strange man I met less than 10 minutes ago,” You plucked a flower from nearby and started plucking off the petals one by one, watching them slowly fall onto your skirt. “You think you’re so smart and you make horrible accusations-” “Why are you getting so defensive?” He sounded amused by this.

“I’m not!” You definitely were. “You’re just getting on my nerve,” You turned to glare at him again, but he had a funny look on his face, he didn’t even look upset, or confused, or insulted. He was simply…..looking at you. “I think you need to work on your manners,” “And I think you’re beautiful,” He said suddenly as he leaned in, the words a soft whisper, a secret shared between two strangers hidden away from the world.

You felt your face heat up, and your heart started beating faster. A swarm of butterflies erupted in your stomach, and you suddenly had the urge to fall back and kick your feet in the air while giggling.

Oh. Oh. Oh.

“Oh..um, oh,” You laughed nervously, looking down shyly. But you could still feel his eyes on you, his face close enough that you can see his bottom lashes brush his cheek lightly, and the small movements of his face. “Thank...you. Thank you,” You swallowed hard. “You’re…uh, really beautiful too,” You rushed the words out. You looked up a little to see his green eyes widened a fraction, a little smile tugging at his lips, and then the faintest colour red dusting his cheeks.

“Thank you,”

You nodded dumbly and looked away again, biting your lip to keep the laugh bubbling inside of you to stay down.

“What’s so funny?” He whispered.

Fuuck. You could feel yourself panic a little. He was so close. So pretty too. How could a man be so pretty? He had to be magic, right? He’s too gorgeous to be anything less than ethereal.

“Nothing,” You paused, biting your lip harder before a smile broke across your face, and a light laugh escaped you. “Sorry, sorry nothing’s funny,” His face broke into a smile. “You know, it’s rather rude to laugh at someone and avoid eye contact. It insinuates that you’re laughing at me,” His tone was teasing.

“I’m not!” You laughed again, shaking your head. “I’m not. Laughing at you, that is,” “Then look at me,” His finger lifted your chin up, and you sucked in a breath at how close you were. A few hairs apart, his pretty eyes looking at you in a way that made your heart flutter and insides melt to goo. And that smile.

You felt your chest squeeze with a sense of familiarity. That smile…it’s familiar, like you’ve seen it before a million times but yet, you can’t place where.

“I…” You started, and his eyes fell to your lips. “I want to kiss you,” He declared suddenly, and you swore the earth danced faster.

“Kiss me then,” You replied, and just as fast, his lips fell lazily to yours.

This night is sparkling, don’t you let it go

There were no good enough words that could describe how his lips felt against yours. In the back of your mind, you grabbed desperately at the languages you know, mortal and beyond, to find something to put this in words, a phrase, a string of letters, to explain the feeling of melting completely at his touch.

His soft lips moved slowly against yours, his hand moved up to cup the side of your face and pull you closer. It wasn’t a heated or lustful kiss, nor overly passionate. More of…a gentle caress, a lazy press of plush lips against yours in a pretty garden under the moonlight. He pulled away just as fast, his eyes searched your face.

You were…breathless. It was the most simple kiss and yet, it seemed to have turned your world upside down. Your mind was empty, yet at the same time it spun a million miles an hour but with no coherent things.

Just the thought of him. His lips. His kiss. His pretty eyes and perfect face and gentle hands. Your heart stuttered. You couldn’t help but think, if you went a lifetime without another kiss like that? You might go insane. You’d rather him kill you. Death would be better, more merciful than knowing you’d never experience this again.

There it was.

“Ya’aburnee,” You muttered softly, and when his eyes snapped up from staring at your lips to your eyes, you realised you said that out loud.

“What?” “Nothing,” You shook your head. “Nothing,” “Not nothing,” He moved closer, your knees now touching and you felt the renewed need to kiss him. “What did you say?” “A word,” Your eyes fell to his lips.

“Mm,” He leaned in, eyes fluttering shut and brushing his lips against yours. “What does it mean?” “Um,” You felt a hazy rush course through you, and you couldn’t form proper words. “I don’t know,” You lied quickly, chasing after his lips.

A look flashed across his face, as if he knew you were lying, before it disappeared. He pressed his lips against yours again and you sighed happily. He kissed you deeper, his tongue slipping into your mouth and suddenly, you were both all over each other.

He pulled you onto his lap, your dress bunching up at your thighs as you straddled him, your kisses growing sloppy as your tongues tangled together and your breathing got heavier and turned into heated pants. His hands tugged at your hair, and yours ran through his soft curls, making their way down over his shoulders and down his chest, searching and feeling the clearly built body underneath.

You pulled away after a few minutes, eyes searching his face. His now slightly bruised, and the flush of his cheeks and the wildness of his eyes. He smiled softly and your heart did another flip. He opened his mouth to say something before snapping it shut, a frown forming on his face as his eyes wandered to stare behind you.

You shifted around to turn. “What’s wrong?” “Nothing,” His hands fell to your hips. “Just…do you hear that?”

You frowned then too, straining your ears to listen.

“No…? What are we-...oh.” You heard the soft ticking of the palace clock, and the soft slow instrumental signalling the last dance of the night. “Oh. I guess we lost track of the hour,” He hummed. “Yes, it does seem so,” He paused, as if thinking something over before smiling. “Dance with me,”

Your eyes widened. “What?” “Dance with me,” He repeated again. “You didn’t get a dance tonight, did you? Well, let’s fix it.” “But we’re all the way out here,” You stated dumbly.

He raised a perfect eyebrow. “And?” “I-...well…I mean-...” He stared at you intensely, his emerald eyes searching your face. You sighed, shaking your head. “Okay,” You finally gave in, because with the way he looked at you there was no way you could’ve said no anyway.

You got up off of him, dusting off your dress and patting back into place. When he got up and you caught his face in the light of the moon, your heart soared at the smudges of lipstick on his lips and on the corners, you couldn’t help but give a satisfied smile. His hair fell in messy curls now and he needed a minute to adjust his suit.

You softly patted down your hair, trying to fix the hair do and your appearance despite the lack of mirrors.

He took a step towards you, holding out his hand. You took it and he pulled you flush against him and you had to strain your neck full up to meet his eyes. He grinned that same wicked smile and placed a hand on your waist as he carefully began dancing through the music with you.

It was a magical experience, to be in this gorgeous garden and have the chance to dance away under the stars with a beautiful stranger. It felt straight out of a fairy tale.

All too soon, the music faded and you could hear the faint sounds of clapping and cheers from the party guests. You looked around, then back up at your pretty stranger with a small smile. “That was fun,” You whispered, as if scared that too loud of a noise would shatter this delicate moment.

“Mm, very much,” He smiled back softly, his other hand dropping to rest on your hips. He leaned down, his lips ghosting over yours and you felt that lazy hazy cloud over you again. “We should get back,” He mumbled between kisses.

You wrapped your arms around his neck, pulling him closer and pressing your lips to his. His smell was intoxicating, and the feel of him so close made you dizzy. “We should,” You muttered, before kissing him again. He fumbled with the fabric of your dress, but before he could even think of getting further you pulled away quickly, straining your ears to hear the far away noise of horses and loud chatter.

Right. End of party. Oh god.

You looked back at him, a mournful ache coursing through you. “I have to get back,” He frowned. “What? Why? Stay here,” He pulled you closer but you only shook your head. “I can’t! I came with my family, they’ll be looking for me soon,” You reluctantly detached yourself from him and quickly worked to fix yourself up. He looked like he was about to argue, but he simply nodded. “Very well. I’ll…walk you back?” You grinned and nodded back. “Thank you,” You quickly grabbed your discarded purse and mask before linking your arm to his as he began to lead the way back, his mask swaying back and forth in his free hand. You snuck a few glances at him as you neared the palace, and you swore in the light of the surrounding palace area he seemed to almost…stiffen, and something slipped over his face. He looked so damn familiar, you cursed yourself for not being able to piece it together properly. You still felt dizzy from the eventful evening, and who could blame you?

When you made it to the carriages and turned to face him, smiling a little nervously. “Bye I guess,” A small smile ghosted over his lips as he let go of your arm, his hands now resting behind his back as he stood in all his beautiful glory. You basked in his beauty for a few seconds more, before something in your mind clicked.

There’s no fucking way. Your eyes widened, but you tried to keep your mind from spinning out of control. The way he stood now, the expression on his face- empty- but with eyes as wild as a storm, no wonder you thought he looked familiar. He held himself like royalty, he was regal and elegant and majestic in a way no other person could ever be.

He was, in every sense, magical.

You felt…enchanted by his presence, and you were sure you were staring.

You swallowed hard, mentally calming yourself down from the fact that you’ll probably never experience this again.

“Thank you for the dance, your highness,” You said as quickly and politely as possible. You caught sight of the way his eyes widened and his expression went from emotionless to absolute shock. You turned around and practically ran for your life towards your carriage, already spotting your friends waiting by.

As you got into the carriage, greeting your friends and ignoring their very obvious questions, you felt a pang of sadness hit through you at the thought of the night ending, but then a bit of joy, because you just got to dance with the prince, and nothing would get more magical or enchanting than that.

Is scarnoa gonna do all 3 paths? Of so which ones does she prioritize?

Oooh, that's actually an interesting question -let me go on a long ass rambling because this is all relevant (I'm honest i'm totally normal about this lmao)

So the thing about this, is that the most OPTIMAL path, is to go in a specific order based on levels.

Katy is the first one you should typically start with, before trekking over yonder to the east.

Scarnoa doesn't have any specific priority beyond the Gym Badges (though do keep in mind that she DOES get distracted often, so oops), but uhh, I will be tweaking things so that she ends up having more reason why she keeps going all over the place. She went first with Katy after taking a detour and ending up in the marsh that Arven found her at (because she was looking for FLAMIGO), because he was looking for a Pokemon to take down Klawf - he can't fight them with a Skwovet, lmao, but then got a call for Arven afterwards (since he was training up that Shellder he caught), and decided "OKAY!!!" and boom, Titan down. Checks map "Oh, gym is near, let's go!!"

by the by, in case anyone needs a confirmation of where you can catch Shellder:

You can find some in the area by that marsh where Flamigo like to pop up. How did Scarnoa end up there so early???

girlbossed (backwards jump LETS GOO jk jk) too hard and ended up someplace she wasn't supposed to be so early (Arven isn't supposed to be there, but obviously, we have to admit that he has SOME badges to ensure that the Pokemon he catches don't start disobeying him - some of them DO give him issues, but it's not so bad as it WOULD"VE been WITHOUT the badges. I like to think of these things as being strength checks that make POkemon go "yeah, I'm down following you, let's go kick ass")

Wins another badge, gets a call from Arven AGAIN, who is most likely far too eager by now, because something changed with his Mabosstiff, so Scarnoa is ON THE WAY (forgetting that she can mcfucking call a taxi vhfelkjbvklfb), anyways Arven's just "what the fuck, that was like five days ago, WHERE WERE YOU I THOUGHT YOU DIED"

(an exaggeration, but it's concerning that she wasn't answering his texts. First thinks its his rotom being a brat - no, Scarnoa just spoils her Rotom too much)

(but also, Arven has LITERALLY had to fish her out of the mud when their paths crossed in that marsh - literally just saw her fall face first like SPLAT, while her Koraidon watches with a guilty look on their face - he now questions her self preservation skills)

because her Rotom kept leaving her phone to eat food - they got distracted by Mesagoza food on the way back to the west gate. Also Scarnoa keeps forgetting she has a dorm, so it's the outdoors life for most of them (They OBVIOUSLY have rest stops scattered throughout the place, around the Pokemon Centers, where you can shower and just wash clothes vhejkvhf jSHHHH)

anyways after ghosting Arven for five days straight, BOOM, big birdy down and then Cassiopeia, getting impatient because every so often, they check on Scarnoa, and she's like...either eating dirt because she SUCKS at stopping on Koraidon or just GETTING DISTRACTED BY FOOD, GOD DAMN HOW MUCH DO YOU EAT.

And just, "You're by this Team Star Base, if you want access to your social media accounts to continue shitposting your misadventures, you got a week to kick that boss's ass"

Scarnoa: Lmao, okay.

She goes over a week anyways because she kept getting distracted and sleeping in. But she still makes it to the base. Cassiopeia has to try harder after that, because now that she KNOWS Scarnoa's Rotom Phone is like SUPER casual after getting spoiled to all hell, she needs to try different tactics. Like "no more wifi for you if you don't make it here - don't make me do it"

and while Scarnoa WOULD forget, her Rotom Phone won't and will start picking up the pace lmaooo.

Anyways Cassiopeia has to literally REMIND Scarnoa that there is a Team Star base by one of the fly points she has registered to her phone, and tells her to use it "PLEASE, for your own sake too."

Anyways that's Scarnoa's first experience with the Squawkabilly Taxi and while unpleasant, she got to pet the birds :V

And while going straight to Mela WOULD be her top priority, Scarnoa got distracted, lost (literally cannot read a fucking map) and ended up in Levincia, where she's all "oh hey, a gym."

Cassiopeia (*cough*Penny*cough) eating ramen in her room, just catching up on anime, when she gets notifications that Iono is streaming another Gym Battle and WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK.

anyways badge get, Scarnoa's getting popular, with Cassiopeia immediately seeing some red flags and QUICKLY moderating her followers on SIGHT. (SHE NEEDS SCARNOA DAMMIT)

Anyways Clive's the one who drags Scarnoa to Mela that time. Which is hilarious. But also, "Please, I beg of you - TAKE HER TO THIS BASE. She keeps getting LOST."

Cassiopeia wondering why they don't just give Scarnoa the equivalent of zoom classes that she's taking. Anyways, as soon as Scarnoa is mcfucking done with her remedial classes, and stuff, her ass is back to Mela and that is REALLY when Arven calls up again, so TIME TO TAKE DOWN A WORM.

And the hilarious thing is, Scarnoa was going to book it IMMEDIATELY to Atticus, but Cassiopeia went "HELL NO, GET ANOTEHR BADGE - idk, Kofu or some shit. Atticus will literally kick your teeth in."

meanwhile Nemona's just dropping by every so often for a battle, somewhat intrigued that Scarnoa is taking the recommended path instead of doing what she did, and strong arming her way through everything and that's how Kofu was her second badge right after Katy...and how Larry ended up as her third badge. :V (she got Brassius and Iono afterwards, and somehow, by chance, she corrected her path with Ryme, Tulip, and Grusha after getting a tip from Geeta, seeing as she has HEARD from Larry about his unconventional challenger)

(fun fact, I ended up in Tulip's area completely by chance after I was on a fucking around and collecting items spree and oop)

Anyways, again - Scarnoa's priority is badges, but she keeps getting yanked from one place to the next. Eventually, she does start prioritizing Titans at some point, but she then uses her badges to ensure she's strong enough to go into areas that were giving her difficulty...after some "gentle persuasion" from Cassiopeia too, helping her out in that sense because Scarnoa is NOWHERE near ready to take on any of the bosses after Atticus.

(keep in mind, Scarnoa rarely loses, and when she loses, she usually gets her shit kicked in if it's against Wild Pokemon, like Koraidon HAS had to pick her up and GTFO out of there)

(even Arven has to convince her otherwise, since they got their shit kicked in by Tatsugiri and Dondozo)

(he is still very touched that she wants to help him, but his heart honestly can't take anymore risks after one of them NEARLY drowned - Tatsugiri/Dondozo is a deadly duo :V)

Don't Ship It

1. This has the exact same problem as Nanago for me, except maybe even worse lol. I love a good bickering couple but...this is Utahime genuinely disliking Gojo, and Gojo being oblivious to it. They are not on the same page and I don't think either of them truly respect the other? At least not a respect that would build an actual relationship. I don't see any chemistry between them. It gives very much "Hot man and hot woman stood next to each other, and they're about the same age."

2. There's never a moment between these two where I think they would ever be emotionally vulnerable with each other, or truly trust the other with something important. So I guess if there was ever a moment hinting that maybe the teasing and bickering was just something they did in a friend way rather than "I can't stand you/I'm oblivious" way that it is in canon. But as it currently stands you first have to convince me these two are friends before we even get to a shipping context.

3. God I think you have to ask a gojohime shipper directly, because I don't understand this ship at all. Unfortunately this one is just not for me either.

Yuta/Maki

Don't Ship It (lightly)

1. This one I do completely understand as a ship, at least much more than Gojo/Utahime. My only hang up is that I think Maki is a lesbian and NobaMaki is so superior to me 🤧 I probably also like InuOkko more than than this ship, so it just kinda falls to the bottom of the list even though I am a big fan of their friendship!

2. Hmm maybe more interaction between these two beyond JJK 0 would of convinced me on them.

3. I think this is a very classic girlboss x malewife ship lmao, which I usually do like so I do completely understand the appeal. They both clearly care for each other and have a good friendship, and have learned from each other too. I understand this ship completely, I just like their friendship a little more.

Shanks/Buggy

Ship It

1. Didn't really get this ship until we got the Roger/Oden backstory and we got to see them grow up together. This is the kind of bickering relationship I can believe lol, where they fight over stupid things but they do obviously care about each other, Shanks didn't go to Laugh Tale in order to watch over Buggy! Very cute childhood friends/crush kind of ship.

2. In hindsight I think it's kind of funny that when they reunite for the first time in decades at Marineford, they both kind of go back to being kids lmao, as if no time has passed. I'm looking forward to them meeting again where Buggy realizes that Shanks dreams of becoming the Pirate King, which that fight was what drove them apart in the first place.

3. Hmm I don't think so, this more of a casual ship for me, I just think it's cute lol.

Kenjaku/Takaba

Ship It

1. I think the first moment in the fight that piqued my interest with them was when Kenjaku was explaining to Takaba why the wifi joke doesn't work lmao. I think it's interesting where they both are playing the wrong roles in the beginning, Kenjaku isn't supposed to be the straight man and Takaba isn't meant to be the funny one. But when they switch roles.

2. Probably 100th time I've said this lol but JJK is so big on duos, but neither of these characters had another half, which is so interesting for both of them. Takaba is a comedian doing Manzai comedy, you literally can't do it by yourself. Kenjaku has maybe the most connections/relationships in the entire series, yet they don't have another half. They work off of each other incredibly well and help each other grow in their fight, and there really is undeniably a bond they share, I think highlighted in the scene where Takaba is crying about not wanting it to be over, and Kenjaku practically comforting him about it? Yeah, this ship hits.

3. It should be more popular 😭🤧

Zuko/Katara

Don't Ship It

1. Don't tell 12 year old me about this, they were a big Zutara shipper, but yeah it just doesn't do it for me anymore. Honestly most of the ships I don't really care for in ATLA? The romance plotlines are undeniably the weakest part of the show, funnily enough I like the Sokka ships (Zuko, Suki, Toph, Yue, truly the bachelor of the atla universe) lmao but that's it. I can't even really pinpoint why I don't like Zutara anymore, I think I just want my girl Katara to be single lol.

2. I think maybe if there was a bit more to them outside of trauma bonding? Idk I do still really like their friendship and love that they can open up to each other about similar struggles and the way they watch each other's backs in the last fight. But I think at the end of the day there probsbly would have just had to be more content of the two of them to fully sell me on it.

3. While I fell out with this ship I do understand why people like it, this feels like one of the few relationships where Katara isn't projected onto as a mom and I think they do have a relationship where they can talk about things that they feel they can't talk about with anyone else. Plus yeah they look cool together lol.

Plus, he IS the strongest emperor ever, so...as long as I can figure out how to get rid of the black magic, he's a safer bet than Aeternitas who would get rid of me in a heartbeat so he can sit on the throne himself. So in answer to the second, hell nah, he can go fuck himself or Roger lololol Athy will- I mean, I will find a way to intercept his plans, probably from the debutante.

WHAT- I mean, ok, that's a reasonable option, but in the world where I wouldn't know which plot the world is following, I wouldn't know for sure until I meet her, but even still, a very high probability of no. I wouldn't hate her if she's the WMMAP version but if she's the novel version, ugh. If she's a fanfic version...depends on who she's written by. If she's by me, except for very few, I wouldn't like that at all...if she's written by someone who loves her dearly(which means they hate me...) then I'd die, so I'd rather just keep my distance and send her and Roger packing.

Oooh, I'd love to fall in love with somebody. The question is, would they fall in love with me? Or the version I present as my version of Athy? If I acted like the lovable and intelligent Athanasia, thousands would fall, but if I acted like me and the way I want to portray her as I wanted her to be: stronger, harsher, an heir with an iron fist just like her father- would they be able to fall in love? Anyways, leaving those existential questions for when I actually get isekai-d lmao I wouldn't fall in love with Lucas. Unfortunate ahaha but I'd love to have him as an ally. Ijekiel on the other hand...I was pushing for Athy to end up with him, so he'd be a strong contender. If someone else comes into the picture, I wouldn't mind as long as they have the qualities of: a high rank that is near or matches Athy's, appearance-wise doesn't look like a squid next to her, and is intelligent enough to keep up with her conversations.

That's a real question...I think for a long while, I wouldn't be able to see them as anything but words on a page. Descriptors that I used to write, strokes of a pen across a tablet screen, I would feel their warmth and even look in the mirror and think, this world feels amazingly real. Would it even register to me that it was, in fact, now my reality? That they were, in fact, tangible people that could laugh, cry, love and die? It would be inevitable that I would find them to be people, but I think it'd be a long road to get there.

How would you cope being an older soul in a younger body?

AHAHAHA depends~ am I an older soul in the first place?? But if we're going off that I was older when I died and got stuffed into Athy's body, I'd use it as well as I could- plus be happy at restarting life lmao. Using all the knowledge I had from my previous life to prepare for my later years instead of learning the basics from scratch. I'd probably go as Athy did, learning new languages and studying early on, I have to make sure I don't act like a useless pawn but a useful heir. I'd also, frankly be annoyed at having to act like a child in a child's body so I'd do away with that and just have people get creeped out by how adult-like I act. Tell them to deal with it, I've got no time for their feelings ahaha

If I really did go into Athy's body, there would be no other route other than the Empress route imo. I don't have the patience or the large heart to let anyone else take the throne other than Athy. In my eyes, she's always been the one who deserved it the most after Claude, so I'd do anything and everything in my power to make sure she sits on it. Well...that I sit on it. I'd rule with generosity to those who help the weak out of the goodness of their hearts, rule with bared fangs at those who dared to overstep. I'd hope to be a ruler that would go down as being great rather than a powerless coward, but not as a bloodthirsty tyrant. I'd keep Obelia the same size, maybe expand, just a little, being too greedy was the downfall of many Emperors. Increase the networks by sea to increase trade itself, travel to widen my horizons.

Managing though....eek. I hate the idea of managing all those territories and worrying about people coming to assassinate me in the middle of the night + all the political jargon I'll have to learn and assimilate into every meeting with the nobility + having to do so much work...I'll probably make Claude and Ijekiel pull their weight and help me out while I pick out at least one secretary to help me for a while. Maybe my obstinateness will never let me pass the work onto someone else, my pride will get in the way? There goes my lazy days 😭

All in all, I do hope this was alright in terms of an answer-! It was very hard knowing that I was the one doing this and not Athy- at least a version of Athy- but I stopped cringing halfway because I had forgotten how fun it was to imagine myself in situations instead of a character. So. The story so far.

YES THERE WILL BE SPOILERS

So. Firstly I would give One Piece an overall 9 as an anime. From what I've seen and heard, the show has kept up even after 20 years, thanks to the wonderful Oda, and that is very important to me as an avid watcher.

True, I never made it past episode 60 the first time I watched, I don't think, HOWEVER!!! That doesn't mean I disliked the show, I liked it a lot. I just probably have ADHD (╥_╥) which means a lot of the longer shows I want to watch get put down by accident because a new shiny show comes out that I want to watch then and there... (I'm looking at you Jujutsu Kaisen (๑•̀ᗝ•́)૭.

I restarted the anime about a week ago during my move into my new apartment at episode 45, as it's the last episode I can fully remember (though I did skip through a little because I can't lie... the Buggy filler episodes were not my thing) "૮₍ ˶•⤙•˶ ₎ა I also know that the Netflix live action ends around episode 45 as well, which- I'm happy to say, is probably the ONLY live action adaptation of an anime (apart from the theatre productions of studio ghibli films like My Neighbour Totoro) that ACTUALLY WORKED!!! Also, Jamie Lee Curtis, a true One Piece fan loved it! Plus, both Oda and Mayumi have crowned Iñaki as the real world Luffy SO SUCK ON THAT HATERS!!! True, I didn't watch the live action fully, as my friend was watching it whilst I played dragon quest 11 (good game) but I got the gist of it, and it was really good from what I could see.

NOW!! ON TO THE GOOD SHIZ!!!

I am currently on episode 57, as of writing this, which means Chopper is only 24 episodes away ༼ つ ◕_◕ ༽ つ And I NEED to meet the baby!! I'm currently watching the crew sail with this little dragon doo dad (who I cannot remember the species name, but his name from Apis is Ryujii.) And shit just started happening. The boat is a rocking, the sky is raining, Zoro and Apis currently have rope burn. It's a good episode. If I recall correctly, they're about to enter the Grand Line?? I know they're right next to it at least, but I think they're trying to get Ryujii home- I just realised that they just landed on the island I am dumb. There was a strange wispy of wind a second ago, which means that one guy is likely already on the island with them I think. Who knows "૮₍ ˶•⤙•˶ ₎ა. Either way, once again this show is showing how corrupt the government system is lmao.

Anyhoo, overall, I don't think One Piece can really be judged by episodes, unless you talk about the live action. I'd say a better judgement would be going by arcs? I will say, this arc is pretty mid, just because I've seen it before and because I don't think Apis as a character is good whatsoever. She's just kind of that npc character in an rpg that directs you on a fetch quest before telling you that she must be protected as she's annoyingly coming with instead of staying home safe- oh wait she's the only one who can talk to the dragon and therefore knows where the fetch quest main area is. Great. Yeah, she's extremely mid now that I think about it.

I wouldn't skip this arc, just because I think all arcs leading up to the Grand Line are definitely important, HOWEVER, I do think she could've been in it less. The grampa would've had more to offer in my opinion, even if it was just comedic value. Plus, he could've been a secret badass who saves the day, who knows.

Also, as I'm writing this, my wifi CUT OUT (╥ᆺ╥；) so now I'm dying of death... (╥ᆺ╥；)(╥ᆺ╥；)(╥ᆺ╥；)

Anyways, I would recommend One Piece, but at the same time, if you aren't used to watching long form anime... gooooood luck. I can only do this because I watched Naruto and Shippuden a couple years back and that- ugh that hurt. One piece was still only one episode 800 too... It hurt so much. Yes it's a good anime BUT IT WOULD BE HALF THE LENGTH IF THEY CUT THE FILLER OUT, KILLED OFF SOME OF THE USELESS CHILDREN YOUNGER THAN NARUTO, REVEALED KAKASHI'S MOLE, AND CUT THE FIGHTS TO HALF THE LENGTH!!!!

Sorry, got emotional there. But yeah. One Piece? Good show. It also only has about 50 filler episodes out of the current 1076 episodes that are released. That's an achievement. Also I am now realising how quickly they must have pumped Naruto out if that show had 750 episodes plus movies...

Final thoughts? Watch One Piece. Don't watch Naruto. It isn't worth it. Also, idgaf if people disagree. If you watch Naruto, only watch Naruto. Don't bother with Shippuden. Hinata is the only good character after Naruto, but she isn't worth it.

Random plane + trip thoughts under the cut ofc because there’s a lot <3

My mum knows people in Germany, in the Netherlands, in Italy, and yet the one place where she doesn’t know anyone is the specific part of Egypt that we’re flying to are you kidding me

I’m gonna start knocking out children on this plane fr shut up

I need to go to the bathroom so bad but I would rather die than go to the bathroom on a plane :/

I took a nap but it was only like 20 minutes and I wasn’t fully asleep so I could still hear everyone around me this is so upsetting what was the point of the nap

Being on this plane felt more like I was in a car honestly it was moving and shaking so much even when there wasn’t turbulence wtf. It was so scary man fr like every time we would hit turbulence the lady on the communicator would give the seatbelt warning sounding so scared and her voice was so shaky and it would constantly be cutting off like please I’m already worried about this trip don’t tell me you’re worried about crashing because of this too

Everyone on the plane was so loud and I have even more reason to hate iPad kids and parents that raise their children on technology

Maybe if your kid wasn’t so used to only going to sleep if they were watching something then they would have been asleep and not screaming the whole time we were on the plane and I also wouldn’t have to listen to Little Baby Bum for 90% of the trip. PLUS THE AMOUNT OF TIMES THESE KIDS DROPPED THEIR IPADS ON THE FLOOR JUST HOLD THEM FOR THEM OR GET THEM TO SLEEP

There was a group of like 4 toddlers who had like 5 minutes where they just chanted “baby shark baby shark baby shark” like they were trying to summon something

I realised like half way through the flight that I’ve never stayed in a hotel before and I got so anxious for no reason about it. It’s only for a day and a bit as well though it might have been my concern over the fact that I didn’t pack a toothbrush or hairbrush since I assumed that we were going directly to my house instead of staying 2 days in a hotel before getting another plane to get to the house but also it’s normal to assume that a hotel in Egypt would have that available to you

Meeting people from Egypt while being Egyptian is like having an internet friendship and the same with meeting someone from England while being English but this exclusively applies to parties and such in that context but it only lasts for like 3 hours before you never see each other again for the next 7 years where one of you miraculously recognises the other. You learn their entire life story within the first 10 minutes and only learn their name after it’s been 4 hours and one of you thinks to ask just before the other leaves but you never give each other your numbers and never intend to see them ever again.

Everyone is so annoyed that we’re Egyptian lmao because as soon as they heard that we came from Britain they assumed that they could scam us out of an extra £15 for a taxi ride that was 10 minutes long and such and came running but started arguing and complaining once they realised that we knew the actual prices for the stuff and services that they were selling and how the system in Egypt worked when it came to British and American people

We need to buy plugs for the chargers because both my phone and my mums are dying and we have the charger but no plugs because my mum assumed that they would have plugs at the hotel. They didn’t. Which was weird. Because it’s basically common courtesy here that hotels have things like toothbrushes and hair brushes and plugs. Realised it’s because they had a terrible group of guests that literally stole everything from pepper to toilet paper when they left literally the day before so that’s not on them

Found a bunch of coral on the beach also which was fun and very cool looking which I’m taking with me back to England

I found a bunch before I went diving and most of it was white so I assumed that it was a dying reef nearby considering how close the fish were but it was probably just really old coral at that point

There was a bunch of clams in the reef as well and you could see the blue outline of the mouth and I’m so upset I didn’t bring a waterproof camera with me or as the camera guy that came diving with me to take photos of the reef too

Alright. We are here. At the end(ish). CM 16x10 "Dead End".

Spoilers and whatever my addled brain wants to express under the cut. This may be a long one.

I don't know why this show makes me so happy despite its many deficiencies. tbh I think it's bc I am job hunting and this at least gives me a lil shot of dopamine or seratonin or whatever the fuck. Also Paget Brewster.

The things I want out of this season finale: Prentiss. I hope she gets to smile and smirk and not just be mad/sad/worried. I wanna see some good moments for Luke, though I'm less hopeful on that front. I want to see something good for Tara. What that could be...dunno. As for the rest - I don't think I even care that much? I suspect it will end in some sort of cliffhanger.

Okay, now that I have unwisely embarked on this journey in the wee hours of the night...

I wonder who will get to wear the Brown Jacket this episode?

oh boo the black & white flashbacks are still here...I hate that choice.

in my opinion this episode has a weird denouement energy. like...it didn't feel climactic even in the shootout scene. maybe on rewatch

it's really too bad that me and the CME showrunner(s) have such a disagreement on what parts of this show/world are worth expanding upon. the emotional beats/storyline with Elias and family are fine. They are kind of interesting even. More interesting to me than plenty of the 300 some previous unsubs. but...a simple 2 minutes scene of Emily Prentiss in her own home? I would dine on that for weeks, months, years. it's all about priorities. I get it. I've been thinking about that - about the fact that I have not been watching the same show they've been making. I mean...literally I have. But that's how art works in some sense. someone creates a thing, and I encounter that thing, engage with it. I bring whatever I bring to the encounter, and walk away having had an experience that the original creator *might* have intended in and might not, depending on how you define that. maybe we're ships passing in the night. i'm sure i'm not articulating this very well. it's almost 3 a.m. here.

Rossi now that you're back at the BAU the first thing you better be doing is groveling at Emily Prentiss's feet and apologizing for your behavior sir.

JJ's line to Will "I have a confession to make...I liked it a lot better when I didn't have to see you in the line of fire." Wow, groundbreaking confession there. I mean...we already know this. Not only is that, like, a very normal sentiment regarding someone you love, but also remember Hit/Run? I do really enjoy JJ insulting her husband. "yeah, well next time don't get shot [idiot]" I like that as part of their dynamic. it feels authentic to JJ in some way. she does that sarcastic thing.

GOD I wanted SO HARD to see Voit's shoes, which I assume were government issued dirty orange Crocs

y'all, so help me, I liked this season. I like that it's given me more raw material to work with, I guess. I LOVE that it gave me silver fox Prentiss. The ham-handedness and bad writing and pacing issues and all of that are clear weaknesses that are also pretty clear carry overs from the original run. No shock or surprise there, and I am (too) forgiving, especially because they have genuinely tried to do something new-ish. Did they succeed? I mean. yeah. Did they succeed *well*? Not really.

As for the ending...they set themselves up for the new season, enough intrigue to get me to keep watching (I would have anyway because i somewhat embarrassingly have ONE priority). It feels like some secret spy shit, which I can only hope means *something* in terms of call backs to Emily's secret spy shit days (it won't since this isn't the Emily Prentiss show, which I will always be sad about).

I cannot bring myself to be mad about various choices like Garcia's characterization, the JJ and Emily situation such as it isn't, even Rebecca. I think the door is still open for Rebecca to be part of the story moving forward. The Garcia character assassination is...well it is jarring and still feels oddly simplistic to me, though I think they are aiming for complexity. I am still waiting on some real consequences / real accountability for her and I'm not sure I'll ever be satisfied in that arena. She admitted in the finale that she fell back into old patterns, and Luke joked that if people didn't do that they'd be out of a job, with the hilarious implication that PG's bad relationship habits are comparable to...serial killer shit. Adam Rodriguez stays giving a really enjoyable performance as a man who loves this woman honestly more than seems wise - he is getting his heart stepped on but won't abandon her. And I don't know that he's necessarily pining, so much as he is committed to being her friend despite her carelessness. I am mad that Luke didn't get much of anything of his own this season.

I hope the folks creating CME take some time to do a critical post-mortem. I hope they're not just patting themselves on the back. I generally appreciate what they're trying to do, but I want them to figure out how to do it better.

i finished it a while ago and was excited about talking abt it with u but my wifi went out all of a sudden LMAO buttttttt anyways, it came back like super late and now im writing this at like midnight. i have so much to say but so little at the same time bcs im literally just shocked. like pure shock. that was SUCH a rollercoaster??? and since you're tagging these asks as spoilers,, im gonna say it. i did NOT expect oc to kill yeonjun. like it was in the back of my head like "maybe..." bcs it kept on being mentioned about how the jacket was heavy but i dismissed it UGH i should've seen that coming.

and beomgyu literally abt to kill oc, with no sign of hesitation (chills)? APPLAUSE. i've read so many yandere fics and so much romanticize that sickness .. then characterize it as dark romance. ofcourse i get that has its own fans but i do appreciate ones that are more on the realistic side with these psychos (ik this more of a psychological thriller too so ig it was a given for that to be the direction, but still THANK YOU). like hes insane enough and therefore hes capable of killing oc bcs he doesnt see her as a human being at all. so again, I really appreciate that aspect </3

then yeonjun. yeonjun and his fake moral compass. he was trying so hard to hold onto that humanity that he thought he had, and he kept on believing he was superior to others (especially beomgyu in the fic) and it was just...conveyed so well? that final breakthrough at the end when oc tells him hes no better than gyu, and he just...breaks? like he's telling himself hes not, while also trying to kill oc...just like gyu. The ascends to madness was so properly conveyed in that last scene, even though its been implied throughout the whole story that he basically has some sort of inner conflict and lost his moral compass wayyyy earlier. the last part really hit it in the nail, which is just so right for an ending scene.

the last part i want to touch on was the way you utilized oc's pov in the stalker part of the story. its the way i knew beomgyu and yeonjun were the ones literally hiding cameras in her room and have sick fantasies of wanting to own her, yet even with that background knowledge i still suspected soobin. and i still trusted beomjun. MAYBE IT WAS JUST ME??? but idk bro, i was so mad at myself when i pieced everything together the same time oc did. i seriously need to watch out, being gullible will be the death of me T-T but even me being super gullible aside, i think your writing is what really made me doubt soobin the way oc did.. i for sure thought we had another yandere on the loose LMAO.

okay now last last part I PROMISSEEE. i just really like the way you wrote how yeonjun/beomgyu broke her down then used her vulnerability to their advantage. its so sick but its such an easy trap to fall into. like obviously this is fiction and therefore it might be more on the extreme side but the tactics they used are just found literally in everyday abusive relationships and i especially liked how you touched upon the fact that extreme dependency can truly be the downfall of someone. and vulnerability, vulnerability was such a big part of the story!!

so, just last comment towards you. i know you worked hard on it and i wrote this entire essay basically to just emphasize that it paid off. i'm 100% sure you're proud of the work and i truly want you to be PROUDER. this was really, really, really good. i sat down, and read through the entire thing without feeling bored, always on the edge of my seat, enjoying your professional but almost casual way of using words (its literally genius the way you write), and truly this was such a perfect halloween post. thank you for writing, seriously. i honestly wish youd get a few bucks out of this (and im more than willing to give a couple IM BEING FRL) </3

one question since this is basically not an actual ask and me just ranting about how much i love your work: do you think you'll pursue writing professionally? have you thought about it? have you taken classes ? i wanna knowwwww

I’ll address a lot of specific points below, thank you so much! <3

(killing off Yeonjun) -It’s sick, but killing yj off was my favorite part! I knew immediately that this story would be dark, and what better way to end off such an intense scene than giving yj what he deserves? I really hope I was able to catch you guys off guard with that, but I made sure to subtly lead up to it with the jacket thing!! (Beomgyu + thoughts on the term “yandere”)

-THANK YOU! Lemme just say, thriller holds such a special place in my heart, and making Beomgyu a fucked up character just allowed me to sneak in that action packed scene at the end haha

I was afraid of writing this story initially— the term “yandere” has taken on many different connotations and meanings, some more romanticized than others. My intent was never to paint such a relationship in a happy or cute light— even if they did have their little honeymoon stage where all was “right”, it’s still a toxic and horrible relationship; it’s always bound to fall apart in the end. Plus, Beomgyu and Yeonjun just became so insatiable that simply having her there was never enough— they needed to control her too.

(Yeonjun + what if mc didn’t put on bg’s jacket?)

-Yeonjun was able to get away with being the better of the two throughout the whole story— so to hear that he wasn’t above everyone else like he so desperately believed, and from the mc no less— it felt like all his efforts were tumbling down, that no matter how hard he tried, it would never be good enough— which was a struggle he had to deal with all his life— it just completely broke the last bit of rationality that he had within him.

Had the mc not put on bg’s jacket, Yeonjun would’ve killed her, then killed himself shortly after—they would only be discovered weeks later after their families reported them missing, a gruesome scene that would’ve destroyed all their relatives; Soobin’s body would’ve been found soon after, judging by the fact that the evidence is still in the cabin and intact.

(Soobin the decoy lmao)

-God I feel so proud that I was able to fool some people at least! Soobin’s persisting affection was a key to making it all convincing— those passing comments, all the coddling and endless attempts to woo her, beomjun saw that and used it to their benefit.

(Use of vulnerability)

-From the start, the mc was already a pretty vulnerable character; she was already away from home with no one else but Yeonjun— which only made her lean into him more and trust him. And because Beomgyu was quick to pick up on that, he knew that the only way to get her more dependent on them was to make her more vulnerable, with her last resort being them; of course, it’s a very drastic depiction, but thank you for noticing <333

okay so the first question is very difficult but let me try my best (in no particular order):

the Time Heist suit unlocked a special level of gay in my teenage self

the Magician's Apprentice/Witch's Familiar outfit is so iconic to me and the dress was the first screen-accurate Clara piece i ever got my hands on (still have it)

the Zygon Invasion/Inversion outfit is iconic and even though we mostly saw Bonnie wear it, it's so fucking slay and that episode made me have very impure thoughts as a teenager so i'm including it

this Time of the Doctor/Deep Breath slay is the quintessential Clara outfit for me tbh. it's so perfect i love it so much and it was the first outfit of hers that i cosplayed as a lil baby whovian 🫶

aaaand i'll have to round it out with her little diner uniform from Hell Bent because it's precious and sparks joy 🫶

now onto your second question... bold of you to assume this show gives me comfort and not emotional damage (/j) but...

The Snowmen is my #1 of all time, i own it on DVD and i watch it several times a year. one time i watched it 5 times in the month of November alone. i can quote all of it from memory and it makes me happy stim even though it's so sad at the end 🫶

Vampires in Venice is just wholesome fun wrapped up in camp, i love vampires and fashion and the plot is absolutely ridiculous but it's so much fun to watch anyway

In detail…how did you meet your crush/boyfriend/lover/etc.: Sorry to miss the point of this survey right off the bat lol, but I don’t have anyone special at the moment.
