People always talk about the terrible shame of having media that was formative to their personalities which they cannot in good conscience recommend to anyone, and 90% of time they literally just mean they were into Homestuck when they were teenagers. I promise you at least half the terminally online weirdos reading this post right now have formative influences that would require much more explaining than Homestuck. Like, I used to avidly follow a shitty action figure photomanip comic by a guy whose main gig was drawing Godzilla porn. Unless we're talking at least a Unicorn Jelly here, you genuinely have nothing to worry about.

Saint Louis of the Vieux Carré —an LDPDL fan event
A month-long creative challenge to celebrate Louis's 146th birthday, this October 4th. Starting October 1st and through the whole month, we'll be celebrating AMC IWTV's Louis de Pointe du Lac, who turns 146 this year!
Starting October 1st, you’ll be able to see the fan creations shared as part of the event in the tag, here »
31 prompts
day 1. humanity | human life
day 2. crossover
day 3. confession | penance
day 4. through the decades
day 5. hunger | feeding habits
day 6. canon divergence
day 7. memory | keepsake
day 8. fashion
day 9. epistolary | handwritten
day 10. missing scene
day 11. literature | intertext
day 12. intoxication
day 13. floral | the last bouquet
day 14. dubai
day 15. love | lust
day 16. parenthood
day 17. canvas | visual arts
day 18. storytelling
day 19. marriage | relationships

day 28. paris
day 29. childhood | innocence
day 30. music
day 31. halloween | haunted houses
How does this event work?
Every day of the month has an assigned prompt. The real challenge is to try and create something new for each day and each prompt.
But, of course, that is an ambitious goal! There are easier options.
If you...
create only one thing, or two, or three
only create something for two or three of these prompts
create something for a prompt but post it a few days later
don’t follow the prompts at all
...you’re still participating —as long as your creation is about Louis de Pointe du Lac, as portrayed by Jacob Anderson.
And Louis's character exists in relation with others, of course! So your contribution could be a portrait of the entire du Lac family, a playlist about one of his romantic relationships, a comic about his relationship with Claudia from her point of view, etc.
If Louis is at the heart of your creation, then your piece is in the spirit of this event.
This challenge isn’t limited to fanfiction or fanart!
Your contributions as a fan don’t have to be restricted to the most usual mediums. Beyond fanfic and fanart, some things that you may decide to create include: fanmixes, moodboards, gifsets, photomanips and graphics; fanedits and AMVs; meta and analysis in written, audio or video form; poetry, music, a blog post about your headcanons, your meta, or your favorite fanworks; and anything else you can think of.
Your creations can be related to your own or others’ existing work as well —if, for example, you want to use one of the prompts to add to an existing fanfiction series, or as inspiration for fanart of your favorite fic, that’s totally within the scope of this challenge!
You can start working on your creations for this challenge with as much (or as little) anticipation as you like, but remember to hold off from sharing them until the event starts. And, if you are taking inspiration from a prompt, we encourage you to share your work on that day.
Reblog or repost this text and graphic to spread the love; and don't forget to tag your posts with #IWTVfanevents or tag @iwtvfanevents so we can share them on the blog, and add them to the collection on AO3: Happy birthday LDPDL!

Dream of the Endless photomanips by @calculatingthestars
I saw the behind the scenes photos of Sandman season 2 and while I was SO excited to see Orpheus, I was a little disappointed at the lack of Comic-accuracy in Dream's clothing. Decided to make a photomanip of what could have been... ;_;

The People of UltraMerica VS Johannes Factotum (take 2)
From Issue #26 of TyrannoMax. (original version here)
Process under the fold.
Converting the old photobash/style transfer version into comic art was done with my usual comic process. Elements were generated in chunks via Dall-E 3 and Midjourney, composited, reduced down to lines, re-inked, and then colored and captioned from scratch, before aging is a applied.
The pie packages themselves were inked over the photomanips (and I updated the ones in the hostess blurb from the last panel to match the style of package from panel 4, something I'd skipped originally and always bugged me).
Multiple prompts and elements per panel.

🎀 COOKIE ANNOUNCEMENT 🎀
From December 28 up until January 1, I'll be having a Family Vacation to Bangkok! 🇹🇭
With that I won't be available to talk to that much online because of this. I'll be around, just not as much during the given days. ✈️
However similar to my vacation in Seoul, I'll be having at least one post a day. Which will feature some Cookie Run Photomanip Edits using the scenic photos I took during the corresponding day! 📸
From what I do plan for these photomanips is that they'll all feature Sea Fairy Cookie & Herb Cookie. 🌊🪴
Mainly to showcase the Mother-Son Family Bonding I had in mind for my Cookie Run Kimura AU, inspired by the same concept shown in the Cookie Run Operation Survival Comics. 📚
Note: Keep in mind that the dates showcased are during both timezones for both Thailand and Philippines. The given timezone referred here will follow Thailand (GMT+7) 🍪
Extra Note: Also the photo used here is one I found on a website, since I'm not in Bangkok as of posting this. Photos I took will be during the corresponding days and posts. 🎀

Want to submit work to Trektastic?
Tumblr media
Submission rules
Do I have to have skill or experience to contribute?
No! We want to make an amateur inclusive zine that any Trekkie can get involved in!
Trek shows:
This is a TOS focused zine and we would prefer TOS content. If you want to use characters from other Trek shows that's fine, but the story or art should be focussed around the TOS bridge crew or other TOS characters.
Content type:
Absolutely anything that can be put on paper and printed! Stories or fics, poetry, artwork, comics, collages, photomanips, even an essay if you want!
Any writing should not exceed 10,000 words, with 3000-5000 words being more ideal.
Explicit content:
Explicit content is allowed in writing (eg. sex, gore, violence) but if you know your writing could be triggering please put relevant content warnings at the start of your writing. Explicit content is not allowed in artwork or images.
Ships:
Any ships you want! Or no ships at all!
So how do I submit my work?
Send your work to [email protected]
If you are submitting artwork or visual media a high quality image is preferred (if you are submitting hand drawn art consider scanning it instead of taking a photo, most printers should have a scan function)

Expected FAQs
Important Info:
This is an 18+ event.
This is an all-ships event.
No discord (can be made if people want it, but I'm not seeing a large response for this that would necessitate it yet)
The primary relationship for your fill must be a poly relationship.
Cheating does not count as a poly relationship.
All forms of content are accepted as long as ao3 allows it on their platform.
A couple helpful poly links:
More than Two
Terms: Their Glossary of Terms!
Prompts
Prompts are there for inspiration. They can be followed literally or figuratively. You can adhere to a trope, subvert it, or take it in a new direction. You can look up a definition for a word, or guess at the definition and see what you can create. Prompts can be taken as realistic, interpretive, or just plain weird. Prompts can be at the forefront of the work, in the background, or just the starting point of inspiration.
What does this prompt mean?
Whatever you want it to mean. Prompts are there for inspiration.
I don’t understand this prompt.
You can Google it or you can make something up and have fun with it. Prompts are there for inspiration.
My prompt is a quote. Is it required that a character say that?
No, it can be whatever you want: the title of the fic, the background words in an art piece, the overall concept of a piece, a song list where the titles spell out the quote, and so on. Get creative if you want to! Or just have a character say the quote if you want to! Prompts are there for inspiration.
I picked Hard Mode… Why would you make ___ a prompt?
Shhh, don’t ask questions. Just go with it. I believe in you.
Posting:
What are the event dates?
Posting begins as soon as the first bingo card goes out.
When do I get my card?
A unique Bingo Card will be issued within one week of sign-up. If it doesn't, send in a NON-ANON ASK.
- You may request up to 4 squares changed, and the request must be within a week.
Can I share my card?
Yes! You can share your card on any of your social media, with your friends, or in your servers.
Can I edit my card to cross off my fills?
Yes! Feel free to get creative with that and post updates on any of your social media, with your friends, or in your servers.
What happens if I don’t get a bingo?
Nothing! This is a low-pressure event meant for encouraging new poly works. If you don’t manage to complete anything or make a bingo, then nothing bad happens. You can just try, try again (but only if you want to!).
What counts as a bingo?
Bingos are any of the following: Rows, diagonals, columns, and/or four corners and the center. If you complete all the squares on your card, you have a blackout! Once you complete a bingo, you may request another one if you would like. You can do this as many times as you would like.
Tell me about blackouts.
A blackout is when you fill every square on your card with a unique fill. You are not required to get a blackout in order to request a new card. Once you receive a new card, your previous card is retired from this event, but you can still use the prompts as inspiration if you would like (but they will no longer count as a fill). You cannot combine prompts in order to fill them faster. Each prompt must have its own fill.
What counts as a fill?
Each fill must be completed and not posted behind a pay-wall. You can use one square per chapter of a multi-chapter fic if you would like, but each chapter must be a completed fill. If you are creating using other mediums, then we ask each fill be its own post, but they can, of course, be linked together
- 250 is the word count minimum.
- Art is any completed piece. Complete is defined as having all the necessary or appropriate parts. Art can be physical or digital and must be your own work. Art can include but is not limited to: sketch, line art, full render images, comic strips, 3D animation, 2D animation, fanvids (including music videos and trailers), photomanips, cell drawings, painting in all forms, sculptures, crafts, full cosplay photography, refracted light “painting”, wood carvings, ice sculptures, etc.
- Mood boards are a minimum of 6 pictures.
- Playlists need a minimum of ten songs.
- Podfics MUST have the owner’s consent and have it linked on AO3. Additionally, the fic being read must have a minimum of 250 words.
- Other creations, ask us and we will let you know what’s considered a fill!
- Collaborations are allowed and we don’t have any additional requirements for such.
- Cross-posting for other events is fine and we don’t have any additional requirements for such.
What about cheating?
Cheating does not count as poly for this event. For this, the minimum is three people actively and knowingly in a relationship with each other. That said, creations involving cheating are allowed. The cheating just needs to be outside the relationship.
Examples:
 - A&B together with C seeing B behind A’s back- NOT poly.
- A&B together, C&B together with A’s knowledge- poly.
- A&B&C all together - poly
- A&B&C getting together for the first time in any permutation - poly.
Badges
Will be posted as I'm able to make them and will be on the honor system. I plan to make four total (participant, bingo, multi-bingo, and blackout). You can add anything you want after downloading the png.
FAQs:
1. Are all ships allowed?
Yes! Just remember: the minimum is three people actively and knowingly in a relationship with each other. These people can be of any gender (or lack of gender).
2. Will we be able to fill cards with more than one ship or choose just one for the card?
You can fill it out with whatever you want!
3. Can I use Original Characters?
Yes, so long as the majority of the primary relationship contains Teen Wolf characters.
4. Do androids/life model decoys/intelligent fauna count as part of a ship?
- So long as they are capable of having an independent personality, have some form of communication, and you can sell it, then yes.
5. Can I use show, movie or old movie canon?
Yes! You can use any canon form, or mixed canon.
6. Does selfcest count as part of a ship?
Yes, so long as the duplicate/s remains as a consistent part of the relationship.
7. Can I do a crossover?
Yes, so long as the majority of the primary relationship contains Teen Wolf characters.
8. Can I collab with someone?
Collaborations are allowed and we don’t have any additional requirements for such.
9. I’m in multiple bingos. Can I cross-post if it fulfills the requirements of both bingos?
Yes. Cross-posting for other events is fine and we don’t have any additional requirements for such.
10. Cheating doesn’t count as poly, but cheating is a prompt!
A minimum of three people that are actively and knowingly in a relationship counts as poly for this bingo. If your work starts with cheating but there is a significant amount where all involved are in a relationship, then that is allowed. If someone or multiple people within a relationship are cheating outside of the relationship, then that is allowed.
11. Who is the mod?
@geekmom13 (failwolf13 on discord)
If I need more help, I'll bring another person on, but currently the response doesn't necessitate it

NEW RULES
Our new updated rules for this edition of the fest, and our new schedule!
HOW TO CONTACT THE MODS
On Tumblr: snarry-fest-adopt-a-prompt.tumblr.com
2022 SCHEDULE
Prompts released: June 10
Claiming opens: June 17
Check-in #1: August 26
Check-in #2: November 11
Claiming closes: December 9
Creations due: December 16
Posting begins: January 2
Posting ends: To be determined
Creators revealed: To be determined
GENERAL GUIDELINES AND INFO
WHAT IS ADOPT-A-PROMPT?
Adopt-a-Prompt is an anonymous, prompt-based, art and fic Snarry fest posting on AO3. We have rescued unused prompts from older editions of various Snarry and Harry Potter fests and are putting them up for adoption as a second chance.
AGE RESTRICTION
All participants must be at least 18 years old by January 1, 2023 regardless of the rating of their creation.
PAIRING
Snape/Harry must be the primary pairing of all creations. Any secondary pairings are allowed, but the focus of your creation must be Snarry.
LANGUAGE
Last year, we also accepted works in French and Italian. However, this year, all works must be in English. This rule may change again for future editions if the demand for other languages is high enough.
WORD COUNT
Since the creation period is quite long, the minimum word count this year is set to 3,000 words. There is no maximum, but we would advise, for the mods’ sake, keeping it under 50,000 words.
RATING AND TAGGING
We accept ratings from General to Explicit. Be advised that you must use the Archive Warnings as we do not accept the "Creator chose not to use archive warnings" option. Your work must also be rated and tagged appropriately. If we judge that your submitted work is not rated or tagged appropriately, you will be asked to correct it.
ART MEDIA
We accept all types of art creations, digital or traditional, comics, photomanips, photosets, fanvid, etc. The same rules of language, rating and tagging apply.
SELF-PROMPT
Given the nature and objective of the fest, to give a second chance to unused prompts, this year we have decided that there will be no self-prompt option available. You must choose a prompt from our list.
WILD CARD
There is a wild card option if you are unable to choose a prompt or you feel adventurous and want a challenge. The wild card gives the mods permission to select a prompt for you.
BETA READING
All submitted fics must be beta read by someone other than the author, or at the very least proofread for spelling, punctuation, and grammar. If you do not have a beta reader or are unable to find one, contact the mods who will provide you with a list of options or find one for you. If, when submitted, the mods judge that your fic has not been beta read properly, you will be asked to correct and resubmit it.
EXCLUSIVITY
You may not post your creation elsewhere until after the end of the fest and the creators are revealed. When submitted, your work must be completed. It cannot be part of a WIP or of a previously started series. However, you are free to create a sequel or other works based on your fest work after the fest is over.
HOW CLAIMING WORKS
To claim, you must fill and submit our claiming form. We will not be taking claims by email or through private messages.
Claiming opens on June 17 at 6pm CET and closes on December 9 at 6pm CET.
The prompts list can be found HERE once available.
The claiming form can be found HERE once available.
Prompts will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.
Each prompt can be claimed only once for fic and once for art.
When claiming, you can select your top 3 prompts in order of preference. If your first choice has already been claimed, you will be assigned your second choice. If both your first and second choices have already been claimed, you will be assigned your third choice. You are not obligated to select 3 prompts, but we recommend you do so at least at the beginning of claiming, when prompts can become unavailable very fast.
If you wish, you may claim the same prompt for both fic and art. You will have to write a fic and draw art for the prompt. You must then make sure to indicate your intention to participate as Writer & Artist on the claiming form.
We are open to collaboration between creators. You can co-create works with another creator (both usernames must then be provided on the form, although only one email address is necessary). Also, if a prompt has been claimed for both art and fic by two different creators, we can put the two creators in contact if they are both willing to collaborate.
There is no limit to the amount of prompts you can claim, but you must claim them one at a time. Once you have completed and submitted a prompt, you can then claim another.
Once you have submitted your claiming form, you will receive email confirmation within 48 hours. We ask that you respond to this email within 72 hours to confirm your official participation in the fest.
For the whole duration of the fest, please check your spam folder regularly, as some of our emails can end up there!
Claiming closes on December 9, so make sure you grab that prompt before then!
WHAT TO KEEP IN MIND WHILE CREATING
While you work on your creation, please keep our rules in mind.
To preserve the fun of anonymity throughout the fest, we also ask that you please not discuss your prompt with anyone other than your alpha reader, your beta reader, your close cheerleader/fandom friends, and your friendly neighborhood mods, of course. Please avoid speaking of your prompt openly in public forums or chats. If you must go through a public forum to look for an alpha reader, a beta reader, or a cheerleader, please keep the information about your work to a minimum.
Since we provide six months of creation time between the opening of claiming and the submissions deadline, there will be two check-in points during this period. The first check-in will be on August 26, and the second, closer to the deadline, on November 11. On those days, an email will be sent to you, containing a link to our check-in form. If you do not fill and submit the form within 10 days of the check-in date, you will receive a warning email to remind you to check-in. If you do not complete the check-in within 3 days of receiving this email, we will consider that you have dropped out of the fest, and your prompt will be made available for other creators.
One week or so before submissions are due (if you have yet to submit your work) we will reach out again to remind you of the deadline, answer any questions you might have, or just make sure everything is in order. We will ask you to confirm that you will submit by the deadline or ask for an extension if you need it. If you do not respond to this email, and if you do not submit by the deadline, we will consider that you have dropped out of the fest.
Throughout the whole creation process, if you have any problems or questions, please feel free to contact us and we will do our best to help out.
ASKING FOR AN EXTENSION OR DROPPING OUT
We know that life gets in the way, that unexpected things happen, that creativity can stall, that the muses sometimes ignore us, so we are willing to give extensions if they are needed. We ask only that you let us know as soon as possible if you think you will need some extra time to complete your work. We will do our best to give you as much time as you need.
However, be aware that depending on the final number of submissions we receive, we might not be able to give you all the time you require. Six months is a long time to create, but we still recommend that you don't wait until the last minute to begin your work, though we know that can be very tempting. We also ask that if you receive an extension, you please respect this new deadline and do your best to commit to it. It would not be fair to prolong the fest longer than necessary and make other participants wait.
If you claim a prompt and subsequently feel unable to complete the work, we understand. Life can get in the way and dropping out is no problem at all. We only ask that you please inform us as soon as possible. This will allow us to free your prompt for another creator to claim.
SUBMITTING YOUR WORK!
Once you have completed your work, it's time to submit! Submissions are due on December 16, but if you are finished before this date, you are more than welcomed to submit before then.
When your work is ready to be submitted, please post it to the AO3 collection. Here is a step-by-step guide on how to post your fic.
1. Go to the SnarryFest: Adopt-a-Prompt! 2022 collection HERE.
2. Click on "Post to Collection"
3. In the section "Additional tags" add SnarryFest_Adopt_a_Prompt_2022
4. Click on the checkmark to "Add co-creators?" and add SnarryFest_Adopt_a_Prompt
5. Finish filling all the required info and formatting your work as usual.
6. Post it into the collection.
7. Once you have posted your work into the collection, please fill out the following header and email it to [email protected]. If any of your header information changes afterwards, please let us know.
Title:
Author/Artist:
Rating:
Word count (if applicable):
Art medium (if applicable):
Additional Pairings (if applicable):
Warnings/Tags:
Prompt (with number):
Summary:
AO3 Link:
Your work will not be visible into the collection until a mod looks it over and approves it. Each submission will be reviewed by a mod, if only to ensure that it respects the fest rules. We will not make any changes to your work, don't worry.
Once approved, you will see your work in the collection as Unrevealed and Anonymous, along with other Mystery works. You will have access to your fic if you need to make some last-minute changes (such as correcting typos or changing the formatting). However, we ask you to inform us if you make some major changes to your fic, which could impact the warnings or tagging or change the information provided in your header.
Posting starts on January 2. The posting date on your work will be updated once we post it.
To remain fair and unbiased, works will be posted in order of submission. The number of works posted per day will depend on the final number of submissions we receive, as will whether or not we will post on weekends. We will keep you informed about the schedule as soon as we know for certain, and we should be able to give you the exact date your work will be posted on if you want to know, because we know waiting can be hell!
Once your work is posted, you will remain anonymous until all the works have been posted. We will then reveal all the creators. The creator reveal date will be determined by the number of submissions and you will be informed ahead of time.
POSTING AFTER THE FEST
If you are unable to meet the deadline or to complete your work with the extension provided but still prefer not to drop out of the fest completely, it will still be possible for you to post into the collection for a certain duration after the fest is over. Contact the mods for details.

Another year behind us, another Summary of Art!! This was the YEAR OF BANANA BOY LOL This year was a mixed bag. On the downsides, I had a LOT of stress factors in 2022, most financial. Multiple big expenses one right after the other hit mid-summer (car maintenance and vet bills mostly). This meant I had to essentially stop doing all comic work in order to do commissions to supplement my income, so TS took a huge hit. My day job also took up all of my time or mental energy; this was the first time I ever wanted to drop everything and quit with how absolutely chaotically stupid it was. Since July everything I've drawn has been either owed art or a stress-relief doodle with only a couple exceptions. It sucked, honestly, and I hope things never get this bad again. On the plus side, I don't feel my art dipped in quality much at all despite the setbacks. There were a few I considered "oofs" but I'll take that. When I see all the art in the summary, it really makes me feel confident I'm still progressing! The other big plus to this year, is it was the "Year of Meeting Friends IRL". We had a couple friends come down to visit at different times of the year, we went to a wedding and met several there, and met even MORE at MFF! Not to mention hanging with other previously-met friends at the latter, and man it was the BEST. What a fantastic year for social stuff! And we were all as safe as we could be given COVID shenanigans (When I DID catch Covid it was, unsurprisingly, from an outbreak at my day job. BOO!). I don't regret any of it, and I feel very blessed and loved and I hope all my friends feel the same. I think this year really showed me that I'm finally in a really good place with my friend groups. I've been in some doozies before, and I think at long freakin' LAST I'm with folks who are caring and wonderful and they help me to continue to strive to be a better person. I also turned 30! My bones are crumbling into dust as we type!!! And yet, I am more cringe now than as a teen. FINALLY. MY TIME HAS COME.  Now, goals for 2023! • Rectify the TS hiatus: back to updating! We got this! • Reorganizing HOW I do things. Schedules! Schedules!!!!! • Once again, attempt to stream more. Casual streams + commission streams. I would LOVE to have streams with friends joining along with me in VC. That would be the beeest. • Finish the unfinished: Labyrinth SE and Safe by Sunset photomanips!! • More song-inspired pictures. They're my favorite! The breakdown: January - I think this one really set up the year. Still think it's a strong one! February - THEM BANANAS. IT BEGINS. Akemi became a comfort character for me, and I really enjoyed doodling him when I could. <3 March - THE. FEDDY. April - I still dunno how I did this picture it looks way too good for me ngl LOL May - I had waited for this scene to appear for A DECADE. And I made it!! June - Another piece I was super proud of! July - MY FIRST ART FIGHT WAS SO FREAKIN' FUN YES. YEEES. August - Wow, your mom let's you have TWO pinups in your summary?! September - This is my favorite piece of the entire year. And again. BONANNER. October - I missed drawing Sly Cooper stuff. So this one was fun to throw back to! November - Traditional art done for the MFF art show! I didn't sell this piece, but it was my favorite! December - This year marked the creation of a second fursona, so she needed to be represented I feel!

Morpheus tries being a nightmare upon the Corinthian’s suggestion, but when he emerges from Rose’s throne room with eyes of pure red sclera and tight leather robes strung with chains, his lover alights upon him and they do not leave their domicile for a month.
Their lady declares it a failed experiment as neither nightmare attends to their function at all.
The Corinthian sulks for three days straight.
