Reader is really sweet and not the type to use a claymore [kinda like Noelle] and not afraid to protect others even in public. Like if someone is bothering Collei, reader just calmly walks over, smiling sweetly, and summons their claymore, “Leave Collei alone or are we gonna have problems?”

You can go with anything you want but, King’s Squire, Prototype Crescent, and Slingshot R5 are really good for Tighnari. [I promise, I’m not trying to make it sound like your build is not good but it’s hard to find Tighnari mains these days and as a Nari main, I want you to have the best. Also I happy to find someone that loves Tighnari as much as me.]

Y/N / Reader was seen as a motherly figure to almost everyone in Gandharva Ville. Most importantly they were always patient and helpful. Ready to be supportive to anyone she considers as friends or family.

Many people would come to them for their guidance and advice. Always steering them into the right direction. Despite their caring and generous personality, they aren’t scared to wield their vision and claymore to protect.

Even if they doesn’t know them. Y/N would always come to their aid no matter what. Earning them a n/n (nickname) Angel. Always looking at the bright side and helping others while being protective and positive.

This time you had to deal with a slight threat to the peace you had worked diligently to maintain. Someone’s causing a disruption in the peaceful Gandharva Ville.

Seeing a merchant was talking horrid things collei, You calmed down going towards the two. “We don’t have any issues do we? If you do, tell them to me. Leave collei alone or we will have problems.” You said with a smile. You’re voiced laced with anger as you looked at them. Holding your claymore in your free hand as collei grabbed the other. Trying to not let their words keep her down and hugged you.

Seeing they had no response you asked them again. “Leave collei alone or do we have problems?” This time with more anger behind the gentle facade. “I suggest you get going before me or Tighnari deal with you personally.” Slightly threatening the merchant as they started to head towards the city.

After they left and had their back turned against you. Your attention went to collei who was sobbing into your side. Kneeling down to give her a hug and comforting the girl.

“Collei are you alright? They were mean but I took care of them. Don’t listen to the insults they spat out.” You stated as you touched her hair. “Shh~ It’s okay I’m here.” You told her as she kept crying. “Do you want me to bring you back home Collei?” You questioned the teenager as she nodded. You picked her up and onto your shoulders. Holding her hands as she stayed silent.

Tighnari watched from afar. Keeping a note to himself to comfort collei later on when he can. He was slightly admiring you and thanking you silently as you drove them off. He was going to step in but you did first.

He watched you bring collei to where she resided before going back to his house. Stepping inside and going towards his desk. Working on his research.

A few minutes later Tighnari came inside with a worried expression and drooped ears. “Collei are you alright? I heard what happened.” He said as he sat on the bed next to the both of you. She nodded silently as she was still sad about what she heard.

You both hugged her as time went by. Making sure to calm her down. Looking at her as she held your and Tighnaris hands. You looked up towards Tighnari. Giving him a soft smile as he gave you one back. Both of your attentions going back towards collei.

After she confirmed she was okay and fine you both left within 30 minutes. Going back to Tighnaris house. “Narii I’m still worried about collei.” You’d tell the fennec fox hybrid. He had the same face as you. Feeling guilt as he couldn’t prevent it. “Me too. But she’ll be okay. My lotus we can go check on her tomorrow. I’ll be sure to not give her work so she can relax.”

“I hope so. Maybe we should take her out on a break and get her a few things.” You would suggest as he brought you close. Hugging you from behind on the bed. His tail lazily moved up towards his knee and gently placed onto yours slightly. You would turn around as his tail removed itself from your body, snuggling into his chest with your head near his neck.

“How can you be so adorable and precious at times?” He’d question you as you removed your face from his neck. “I don’t know. How can you be so handsome?” You’d tell him back playfully. He gave you a quick peck as his tail wagged. Trying to tickle your side. “H-hey!” You would tell him trying to not burst into laughter as you felt his tail brushing against you.

“Colleis like a daughter to us. I just wished we could’ve prevented it.” He’d state as his tail tickled you. Enjoying your laughter as it was music to his ears. You laughed as you tried to get words out. “M- me too! St-stop tickling me.” You’d say trying to get him to stop. He stoped tickling you as you felt more happy. Knowing it did the trick, he smiled as he gave you another peck.

it's 3 am while I'm drafting this and yes I should be sleeping but I am so fucking emotional about Collei and Dunyarzad being disabled- being chronically ill.

look, after the Sumeru racial rep fuck up (which is STILL horrible), I wasn't expecting anything good. and then Hoyoverse (yes, still at fault) turned around and gave me t w o chronically ill disabled characters who are loved

collei is LIKE ME! and I'm like her!

I always found her entire story with the Fatui and whatnot in the manga heartbreaking (although I never do think they mentioned the eleazar there), but her personality and ending of breaking free giving me hope and making her one of my favorite characters.

and fuck,,,,

she's like me.

and nobody thinks she's lazy, or weak, or not doing or trying hard enough. her disease fluctuates, and she gets tired easily. and the illness just *can't* be cured- just like her curse, sometimes you have to learn to live with it.

even Dunyarzad, who is more coddled, is shown to still be stubborn and alive even though she has so little energy.

and... holy fuck, guys. they're like me.

I'm seeing a lot of people posting about how they're glad Genshin has Finally made a 5 star disabled character and are finally representing the disabled community, and whilst yes, they have made another disabled character, it's not the first one, nor the first 5 star! But Baizhu has been long awaited for by many players, including myself!

Huge Reminder that Collei is disabled with chronic illness, and I'm pretty sure Layla has been discussed to have Narcolepsy. Also, many people totally forget Xiao is a disabled 5 star character with chronic pain inflicted by his karmic debt and mental health struggles partly relating to that, and rarely anyone talks about it! I know we are all excited, but, this is another problem.

Less "obvious" (even though if you have got chronic pain, it's the most obvious thing in your life) disabilities get forgotten about, in real life too, hence the ongoing promotion of invisible disabilities or less obvious but just as difficult to deal with ones, needing to be acknowledged.

He is NOT the first 5 star which was made playable!

Xiao was, but for Baizhu, they're more obvious about his health and his power ups that he is in the medical field and has disabilities, also woth the presence of glasses too which is another visible disability

As health a big part of his job and powers too, it's easier to notice, but that's another part of how the people within the community with less obvious physical disabilities get forgotten or missed.

Xiao was the first released disabled character that was 5 stars! A favourite of mine to play since he dropped as he resonates with me gender wise, and with that, I too have serious chronic pain! He has chronic pain induced by his karmic debt, and barely anyone talks about that because it's not been focused on as a part of his character as much as people have with Baizhu.

But yeah, with the drop of Collei as well who also has a chronic illness, and Layla suspected to potentially have narcolepsy and some NPCs in Sumeru having stories being told about their conditions has been great especially as games rarely make main characters that are disabled and as someone who is disabled with mobility aids and chronic pain, it is exciting as this has been my favourite game for 2 years plus now.

So far Xiao has been a saviour for me as well as Genshin as I've played it most days i cannot do absolutely anything and remain bed ridden from my disability and I've wanted Baizhu dropped since he was introduced as well and I'm glad they're making multiple characters with disabilities as it's very real truth MANY gamers have disabilities, and we deserve rep.

If your taking prayers right now, maybe a Tighnari x reader, where reader is Alhaitham’s sibling and can be described as the Akademiya’s “crazy lady” always coming up with insane/crazy theories and projects, will rant about topics that even leave the Sages scratching their heads, but still highly respected. People are really surprised when they learn that Tighnari and the reader are dating and Alhaitham's sibling. (sorry if it's a lot) I understand if your busy and not taking prayers at this time.

Sypnosis:Female reader who loves coming up with Theories that are beyond understandable to anyone else beside them(Al-Haitham excluded prob????) meets her partner. Fluff with fighting(Extroverted reader, they would be rambling on about their theories so they’d be social-?)

Story under cut! (Slight angst bc of fighting???) (Can be read as G/N if you ignore the Al Haitham calling you his sister.) (Keeping this in mind that it’s Rtawahist)

“Heyy Layla!” You said as you waved to her excitedly. Going towards the sleep-deprived woman. Holding a few pieces of paper as she saw you while near the fountain. (The one in her hangout where you meet!) She’d wave silently interested in what’s you come up with today. She and her other half found it interesting of what your brain could think of so quickly. It may not make a lot of sense to them but they see how happy you are so they don’t dare to ruin it.

“What’s you come up with this time Y/N?” She’s ask yawning in between her sentences. Having another all-nighter… placing herself on the fountains edge. Being careful to not get herself wet. You mimicked what she did before explaining what you had come up with.

“you see, if the stars and planets are made of dust, shouldn’t water in the space make them grow or dissolve? Especially the sun! It’s blazing hot! It’s worse than traveling to the desert sometimes.” You’d question yourself trying to come up with an answer as she laughed quietly. “I’m pretty sure they wouldn’t grow or dissolve. I don’t think they’d really be affected by the water.” A few talks with Layla seemed to help you with your theories and projects that you could do. Wondering if others could agree with your theories. You may be young but your mind is always head of your years. Same goes for Al-Haitham. maybe it runs in the family…

“I’ll be off Layla! Thanks for helping me sort my thoughts out.” You’d say. Waving goodbye as she went to her class. Your next class is about Zodiacs. What makes people them in a sort of way, it is believed that your birth month changes you slowly but helpful in the process.

Seeing him in the class brought you great joy. He was always early to his classes and you happen to share two classes. You took your seat as your gaze lingered on him for a bit of time. Before you turned your head away and back to the front. (Zodiacs and about plants like the Nilotpala lotus, such as why they only bloom at night or time sensitive ones.)

—After class— (idk what they learned ;-;)

“Tighnari!” You’d say as you catched up to him leaving the classroom. He stared at you with a smile before turning his head back towards his neutral view. You two turned into a different area. Seemingly no one was nearby. So they shouldn’t hear the conversations. (Someone’s gonna hear and it��s gonna be like Alhaitham)

He’d hold you gently, taking in your scent from your hair for a few moments as he wrapped his tail around you. “I heard you came up with another theory. I’d be keen on hearing it sometime before you forget it.” He’d joke, knowing you’d move from it quickly.

“Maybe later…? I just want to relax with the free-time we have today.” You’d tell him. Enjoying his warmth and presence. He lowered his ears and gazed at you lovingly. Silently telling you that he also wanted to do so. He gave you a little peck on the cheek as focused on you. Looking at what you had chosen to wear today.

A similar outfit to Layla but more adorned with jewels symbolizing wishes and more based on daylight. You always wore a different outfit with a new combo. It was refreshing to you and fun, it didn’t cost much as you had your brother getting what you wanted. (Dw you don’t buy much-)

You enjoyed the time silently as Tighnaris ears perked. Alerting the both of you, as he lowered an raised them. Hearing someone coming. But it was too late till they saw you both. It was your big brother, the scribe.

You both quickly departed from one another. Both blushing brightly as he looked with a slightly amused expression. “Al- al Haitham-?!” Tighnari stuttered, hoping he would keep a secret for him. You’d look away and towards a wall in embarrassment.

“You never told me you were dating. But I suppose my little sister always keeps her secrets hidden.” Al-Haitham said as he turned you around to not face the wall. “H-hey! I have my own life too y’know! You don’t need to be a know-it-all about me just because I’m your little sister!” You’d retaliate back to him. Not thinking about your choice of words. Whisper-shouting to him as Tighnari malfunctioned.

“Your siblings?!” He’d whisper shout at the both of you as you and him nodded. Realizing not many knew you were related and just thought you had the same last name but different families. (Like so many ppl can have the last name Takahashi bro- I have seen so many ppl with it)

“Oh you didn’t know-? I thought you did-?!” You’d say back at Tighnari. Hoping the whisper shouts wouldn’t gather your friends or strangers.

“No I didn’t!” He’d say as Tighnari held one of your hands. “Realizing it now I should’ve known sooner… same last name and age.” He’d sigh, lowering his ears and tail in dissapointment.

“Hey it’s okay! Not many people know…”’your state trying to cheer him up as Al-Haitham talked to him about being your boyfriend. He had trust in him that he would take care of you. Walking away from the area and onto the outside / entrance / threshold of the akademiya.

(After announcing your relationship with Tighnari and being siblings with Al-Haitham.)

People were gasping. It’s as if they struggled to breathe oxygen. Leaving many shocked and puzzled. None knew about your lover and brother.

Turns out Tighnari needed a few materials from the desert. So you went with him. Unknowingly, the news about your status of being Al-Haitham sister spreaded quicker than the reaction, a target now plagued into your back unknowingly. Tighnari flicked his ears, getting cautious as the fur on his tail bristled.

You noticed this quickly. He grabbed you suddenly, dragging you away from what seemed to be eremites. Dodging their arrows as you both hid behind some tall rocks. He’d shush you quickly as he heard them going closer. Grabbing your hand again. Leaving before they went to your spot. Using your hydro vision to make the sand wet in a different direction. The eremites followed it. You both successfully left.

or do you thought. Eremites came up from behind as they happened to have backup. Your eyes widened as Tighnari went in front of you. Getting stabbed into his stomach. Shielding you from the hit.

You’d shout at the eremites seeing what they did. Healing Tighnari quickly as he got up. Using his mine to confuse the eremites. You used it as a chance to bloom as he used his three quick charged shots. Healing him with your skill. Dodging attacks as they swung at you, hitting your arm as you got knocked to the ground. Dodging more attacks while kicking them away and up onto your feet using your burst while Tighnari used his. (For context, you summon stars to follow you and heal everyone while having increased crit dmg,rate,atk and healing. The stats have a big first impact like Kiraras but has a decent amount of damage after its first few hits. Skill is you harnessing hydro power like Candace and dealing healing/dmg.)

“There’s still more?!” You’d state as more kept coming towards the both of you. Keeping your health from hits up high. (Tighnaris still wounded, it’s not like in genshin where they get injuries and nothing happens beside hp bar.) A flash of lightning appeared with a wave. It was cyno and Nilou?!

“I was looking for these eremites.” Cyno stated as he charged forward. “I saw you both fighting and went to go get cyno!” Nilou said worriedly as she helped with the fight. Eventually the waves of eremites ended quickly. Seeing cyno was always a bad sight for those against him.

“Thank you cyno and nilou!” You’d say as you looked at them for a few moments hearing them speak as you tended to Tighnaris wounds carefully. Using your hydro power to heal him.

“You’re welcome Tighnari and Y/N.” They’d both stated as you checked on everyone’s injuries. They left as you took Tighnari back to Gandharva Ville.

“Heyy! Collei!” You’d say as you saw collei coming closer to the two of you. Worrying about the both of you as you headed with Tighnari to get himself patched up. When he woke up collei left you both alone with one another.

“I’m sorry narii! It’s my fault you got injuries if I just never announced it with you and kept it a secret for a little longer-MMH?!” You’d state as he kissed you. Preventing you from bad-mouthing yourself. He held you close as you stared at his blood-stained jacket on the side. Wrapping his tail around you comforting you efficiently.

“You did great. Don’t be a worrywart for me?”He’d ask you, looking at you with slight puppy eyes and adoration. His voice was soothing as you both sat in comfortable silence. You eventually fell asleep.

(ENDING 1)

He gently Carried you to the bed. Making sure to not wake you up as he gazed at you when he settled you down and went next to you. Wrapping his tail against you again as he put his chin above your head. Using his arms to bring you closer to him. You leaned into his touch and into his chest. He gazed at you and played with your hair for a few moments before falling asleep.

(ENDING 2)

He gazed at you sleeping in his arms. Staying in the hug position as he grabbed a nearby book and read it. Preparing and studying for tests. Knowing you’ll need his help later on with preparation. He gathered a few bits of info and left it on the side. Putting you on the couch as he left to go do work with collei before returning shortly.

(Kinda glad how this turned out ngl! This was fun imo as I like being super imaginative about certain things.)

54. Baking therapy on a budget Ft. Genshin Characters: Collei

Hello, Every birdy. Today we are going to be making one of my sister's favorite foods. The food that she wanted for her birthday. Falafel.

Collei is a trainee forest ranger in the Forest of Sumeru. She has met characters from Mondsandt and is a victim of the Fatui (bad guys) as they experimented on her. Besides Lisa Collei is the first Sumerian character that people met, who read the manga. And her favorite food is Pita Pocket. Honestly, that was the reason my sister wanted Falfela for her birthday dinner.

So for this recipe there really isn’t going to be much of a recipe per say. Because we are just going to be making it based off a box mix.

But I do want to explain to everyone what Falafel is. Falafel’s are chickpea or fava bean, deep fried balls. They also have fresh herbs and spices in them. They are normally a Middle Eastern Street food. It can be served in many different ways. From the most notable one of being inside pita pockets with tahini sauce and veggies. But they could aslo be in salads or as side dishes.

We did not have tahini sauce, but we did have sour cream and almonds. So we made a almond sauce. We made a almond paste and then put it in the sour cream. When I say we, I mean me and my mom. We tag teamed on this dinner and it came out really good.

So we are going to make it according to the directions on the box.

In a bowl, you are going to add your mix and about 1 ½ cups of cold water.

Late that stand for 15 minutes.

Take a tablespoon of the mixture, and form them into small patties or balls. We decided it would be balls.

Just note if the mixture does not allow to form balls, spoon the mixture into the hot oil, about a tablespoon size.

Each tablespoon of mixture makes about one ball.

You are going to heat your oil. Enough to cover the balls or patties.

Now you are going to deep fry the falafel balls or patties for about 2- 3 minutes in the hot oil. Making sure that you turn them occasionally until the crisp is golden brown.

Place the balls or patties on an absorbent paper towel to drain and serve hot.

Slice and open up your pita bread, place your almond or tahini sauce inside, add in the falafel and then add in some cucumbers. And enjoy.

My sister loved her birthday dinner, and she was happy that we ended up making it. And that makes it so worth it.

cooking Instructions for 6 Portions: About 18 patties. 1. In a bowl combine and mix well the entire contents of Sadaf mix with 1-1/2 cup cold water. Allow standing for 15 minutes. 2. Each tablespoon makes one ball. 3. In a skillet, heat (350 degrees F) corn oil or Sadaf grapeseed oil (enough to cover the patties). Deep fry the Falafel balls or patties for 2-3 minutes in the hot oil, turning occasionally until crisp golden brown. Place an absorbent paper towel to drain and serve hot. Store in a cool dry place.
