So I'm rewatching clone wars for the second time and in season 2 episode 1 I noticed something

When Wolffe is giving orders I noticed that he has his scar from Ventress

Here's a closer look. From the way it's scaring means that it's fresh and happened very recently. I never noticed it until now. I always thought he got it between seasons 1 and 3 because it's more noticable in season 3

Also, he's still wearing his official uniform. From what I know only the naval officers wear them. So, my question is: was Wolffe in the GAR navy from the beginning and given the rank of commander or was he always a commander and he just didn't wear his armor until later seasons?

One thing that season 2 episode 15- senate murders- proves is that Mon and Bail knew Padme enough to know when she was about to do something crazy and Bail would accompany her, as if he was the sane one.
