Psst hey you random person. If your looking for a new game to play and love resident evil you should play evil within.(same director as older resi games shinji makami)
It's plot is great and there's two games following a tired detective with the worst human luck imaginable.
It's a gem of a horror game. And did I mention that the protag is a unluck detective? And has a realllly cool cast and enemy design?

As a Fandom Old who has played and watched others play that clasic game "horrify the Twilight n00b" (@cleolinda is the first person i saw play this game <3 livejournal crew forever) like to propose as a segment for Aabria and Erika's new blockbuster podcast about the internets:

And it is versatile. Because sometimes it could be Aabria and Erika horrifying a guest and sometimes the guest could bring their own horror to share with Erika and Aabria.
I was cackling the whole time.
Alternate thought: Aabria or Erika dm a one shot where you do a Good Society game but instead of the regency it's the Internet (or just tumblr) and for rumors you do fanwank and for epistles you do call out posts or slip into dms. Ship wars, shit posts and fandom fights.

The way Troy's story in "horror in seven spooky steps" is inspired by Frankenstein, the gayest clasic horror story known to man. Furthermore, if we assign them roles according to the novel, Troy and Abed are Frankenstein's monster, the embodiment of queerness. Plus, comparing Troy specifically with the monster: Frankenstein's monster's desire was to have a wife with which to isolate from the rest of the world, Troy's desire (indirectly spelled out due to him telling the story as the dream life he could have) is to be with Abed forever, in a house away from everyone else (pierce doesnt count). Also, the story being set in an isolated cottage is quite interesting, giving that the most relevant scene in an isolated cottage in the novel is when Viktor's wife is killed by the monster, which, if we take the monster as a representation of his homosexuality, represents him murdering his hetero relationship due to his shaming queerness.
Anyways, all this to say: Troy is gay

I just drew some characters from what is going to be a rewrite of that fanfic from 2019 but as an original work
Since the story took place in contemporary times even the first time around, I decided to place it in Romania because placing it anywhere else felt arbitrary (ie served no """worldbuilding""" purpose at all).
The action begins sometime in 2014/2015 and ends in late 2019 (again, I decided upon this year because that's the year when I wrote the first version)

Fully aware of it, from outsiders it looks like the clasic abuser-victim relationship, when it's just the two of them being lovey-dovey doki doki in a twisted way, but still a fully consensual ''healthy'' and lovely couple in love. But it gave me a different idea, and I wanted to give you credit for it, so I’ll use your ask to talk about it! Hope you don’t mind ♥
What if we have a bully!darling and a yandere!victim? Reader’s bullying might be because of one of the ‘typical’ reasons people bully others, such as bad home life, being dissatisfied with themselves, jealousy, etc. Or the yandere has always been coming on too strong to them, forcing them to use bullying as a defense mechanism to keep them away.
Then we have the yandere who really couldn’t care less for their darling’s friends bullying them or not being the most popular person at their shared workplace (or if you’d prefer it more PG class). After all, all that matters is getting a reaction from their darling and getting their attention on the yandere. The yan might actually like the degradation they ‘suffer’ from their darling’s bullying. Everything is a compliment out of their mouth!
Even worse, when they sit close together, yan uses the moments no one is watching them to lean over and smell their hair or steal the pen the darling has been using all day to write with. It’s annoying and venting their anger about the yandere to their friends is the only way the darling knows how to deal with their feelings. But the yandere is very happy to hear them talking about them. What better thoughts are there than thoughts about the yandere? At least for them, their darling is always on their mind, and it pleases them to be the one haunting their thoughts as well.
Yandere is a huge stalker as well, so the two have more than one run-in despite the bullying. They follow the darling to the toilet (to be even closer to their love by using the same stall) and home to make sure their darling is safe and alone so the yan can spend their night watching them through a window. It only fuels the darling’s dislike for the yandere, but in the yan’s opinion, the darling could even hit them, and they’d thank them. Of course, it would be much better if they reciprocated the yan’s feelings. Still, the yandere is just happy that they are talking at all after being initially rejected by their darling. Hatred is just another form of love, and the yan loves, loves, loves them so much, it makes them very happy.
But darling is in an increasingly bad position in this whole debacle since they really are not the nicest person out there, loudly and aggressively letting the yan know what a creep they are and how disgusted they are by the yan’s behavior. Even their friends who initially agree with the darling sometimes think they are taking it too far, but they can’t truly understand it. No one can understand how awful it is to be the object of desire for the yandere. No one has to endure the stalking, the stealing, the silent phone calls that are straight out of a horror movie. The yandere always waits for the darling to insult them through the phone for being creepy and just breathing loudly. But saving face in front of their friends and doing the opposite doesn’t work either. Even if the darling stays calm and ignores the yandere, the latter will just start getting more aggressive.
Losing their darling’s interest is worse than any bullying can ever be. The darling can punch them, insult them, kick them when they are on the floor, but it becomes unbearable for the yan if they choose to ignore and move on. So much so, they can’t wait outside a window anymore, climbing into their darling’s bed at night and yearning for that sweet, sweet reaction from the darling when they wake up in their stalker’s arms horrified. No way they can ignore that, right? When they least expect it, the yan will kiss them in the middle of their workplace, the shocked gasps and squeals around them surely giving the darling a rise! Now they’ll have to confront the yandere! Certainly the darling doesn’t plan on dragging this further, right? Because the yan’s desperation has no limits, and they shouldn’t be surprised if they corner their darling in the bathroom to get what they want by taking something else they desire—all of the darling.
It’s in the power of the darling to stop the yan’s frantic tries to get their attention any time by returning to be a terrible bully and risk losing the respect and relationships they established with others. Or they can just give in and let the yandere do whatever they want, not stopping them from taking everything from them, even the things the darling is trying to protect. Because really, who’d think they are in the right mind if they saw the two all lovey-dovey in the office after years of bullying? Everyone always knew the yan had a few screws loose, but the darling too? What a pitiful pair.
A pair that everyone should stay far, far away from, the darling’s worse fears coming true as they are suddenly all alone no matter the path they choose, except for the yandere clinging on to them victoriously.

Alright, let's do this, i guess
My ennagram is propably either 6w5 or 5w6 i'm not quit sure
I do watch a lot of video essays, too many to name any favorites, most of them about fiction/media analysis, a few channel examples being: cj the x, ragnarrox, lindsay ellis, ladyknightthebrave (though i've admittedly only seen her the haunting of hill house/bly manor videos), what's so great about that & hbomberguy (fuck tommy tallarico)
My favorite audio rn is probably "Your Chaotic Roommate Confesses His Feelings For You", for multiple reasons i probably can't get into in a post like this
In terms of who hold no appeal for me, mostly david but also vincent, he's just too idk clasically romantic for my tastes
Speaking of which, i'm generally not the most traditionally romantic person which sometimes makes me worried that i'm not affectionate enough/in the right way for people
I generally love horror and/or fantasy and/or mystery media of all types.
I used to watch a lot of rpg maker horror game lets plays during a generally rough time in my life (though i've still never played one of them myself) mostly the channel manlybadasshero and the german channel nesfatelp.
The professor layton series of puzzle/mystery games are a cornerstone of my child & and early teenagehood, the two with the spookiest athmospheres (the diabolical/pandoras box and spectres call) probably being my favorites if i had to choose. I also recently (finally) started getting into the ace attorny series.
In terms of platonic attraction: just the entire damn squad, including gavin.
I don't really have any guilty pleasure favorites i think, but for some reason i had this weird cheap dvd which was a fairy tale themed collection of german knock studio cartoon films as a kid. There where a few by this studio called dingo pictures (as i would later find out, here's the german wikipedia page since there isn't an english one: https://de.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dingo_Pictures) on there including an alladin knock of (here's a clip of it: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=2u4h5STlXUc&pp=ygUVYWxhZGluIGRpbmdvIHBpY3R1cmVz)
It seems to be the same german animation team/studio as that film where the yeee dinosaur meme/clip comes from (this one:

Though the dino movie wasn't on the dvd, probably since it isn't fairytale themed, so i never saw that one as a kid.
And there also was a bambi knock of by dingo pictures called goldie that i even had as a seperate dvd of as well for some reason (here's a clip: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=b_WNza6_Z2c&pp=ygUMR29sZGllIGJhbWJp) there also where films clearly made by other small studios on that dvd as well, it really was a weird mix.
And although i could even as a kid tell that these films were objectivly "bad" i still found some strange enjoyment and fascination in them at the time and looking up these clips gave me immense nostalgia, i even have to say i enjoyed goldie more than disney's bambi, simply because it was more intersting in it's strangeness while i found bambi always boring.

Addendum: As a kid i used to always just say my hobbies are reading and drawing/painting and while i still like these activities (and i still read a book every once in a while) it started to feel kind of dishonest since i haven't actually been doing these things as much anymore (especially drawing/painting, i really need to get back into that) so last year i started to get into new hobbies i had interested in trying for a while, like learning to play guitar as well as starting to do archery and now also wanting to get into general martial arts (i mean, i gotta get buff arms somehow, right)
Ooh, I like you. Type 5w6, the Troubleshooters, are such an interesting type, and you have fantastic taste in movies, interests, video essays, and games. You know who else would like you? Guy~!
The enneagram types you align with, plus the video essays and games you like, give me the vibe of someone really thoughtful and in their head, like Honey, and we all know what a fuckin great match they are with Guy. This also works because Honey doesn’t strike me as traditionally romantic or saccharine sappy either.
I’m imagining a really loving, lowkey in its intimacy kind of relationship, the kind that’s built on a companionable compatibility you two have. It’s lots of chill nights watching horror movies that he talks through non-stop, mystery movies where he always guesses the killer. Its trying new hobbies, sports, and classes together and getting adorably, lovingly competitive. It’s Guy being very cute but entirely unhelpful with the Professor Layton puzzles.

Hi Birb-Dad! I hope you're doing well and have something fun planed for halloween. Even if it's just mulling some cider and vibing around a bonfire and sharing spooky stories, or watching/listening to some clasic horror stories. I know Guy Fox's day/Bonfire night is close but can you ever have too many bonfires?
I don't have plans sadly. I have a few collabs I'll be posting tomorrow and might watch some horrors.
Guy Fawkes night is soon but we won't be going to that due to spouse being at work so very little celebrations this year sadly.
I have a pumpkin to carve so might still do that!
