i feel like about 10% of fionna and cake was made for me to enjoy deeply, 50% of it is Alright, 30% of it is nothing to me, and the remaining 10% actively annoys me.
#me watching any adventure time related content that is not episode 270 “bonnibel bubblegum”: well it's no episode 270 “bonnibel bubblegum.”#about five billion percent of my adventure time enjoyment is just me being abnormal about bubblegum.#but gary is nothing to me. so.#that being said. jinkx monsoon lemongrab. extraordinary casting.#i think i was like. most surprised that parts seem less dark than adventure time (classic).#falls into that “oh we can have blood now so we have blood” and then it lost some of the more subtle “oh that's messed up” stuff.#sometimes genre constraints are a good thing and can force creativity.
