This was originally done because of an anon ask I got but earlier today I answered the ask and then deleted the post because the numbers were completely screwed (I originally did this while watching a movie yesterday and... well). Luckily only seconds after me posting it someone reblogged the old post wondering about a certain ship on the chart that isn't even in the TV show and so I took the old chart down and remade it from scratch (which was a pain, ngl. I evaluated 77 ships because apparently I don't have a life). (I forgot your name, dear reblogger from earlier, but thank you!).

Lisa Snart is very fond of the Mona Lisa. Firstly because she is also Lisa, secondly, Mona Lisa was painted by Leonardo Da Vinci and Lisa was raised as a parent by Leonard. It's not the same, but it's close! She came up with it as a kid to feel special and cool, but even as an adult she found it an interesting idea. And then she starts dating Cisco. And when Leonard found out about it, he chuckled. Because according to one version, the painting depicts Lisa Gherardini, the wife of the Forenti silk merchant Francesco del Giocondo. And Francesco is not the same as Francisco, but almost!

It was still strange, working at S.T.A.R. with so few of them there. Barry had been so focused on not losing Iris before he’d just been pushing it to the back of his mind.

He still couldn’t think about that night. Seeing Iris fly back like that, hearing the explosion ricochet through the building knowing Cisco had been on his way down there...

Caitlin had dropped hints about Barry maybe looking at other jobs at one point, but Doctor Wells had already offered to move Iris to S.T.A.R. to try and help, and Barry wasn’t going to leave her. Cisco was having seizures, and Iris was in a coma and she’d only been there because of him, Doctor Wells was paralysed and everyone was blaming him even though it was an accident and no one else was staying with him, and Caitlin was grieving and she’d have these moments where she’d seem so angry, and Barry had to be the strong one. Barry had to keep it together for Joe and Wally, for Caitlin, for Cisco, and there had been points it felt like he was being torn in two.

He was a doctor. He helped people. That was what he’d keep doing and no one could stop him.

20. Cisco and Lisa

To be honest, I've never been able to get into this ship. I see where the appeal is, but I'm just not on board. I gotta side with Caitlin on this one, Cisco can do better. They have good chemistry and they have some fun interactions, but it'll always be a little tainted by their first meeting to me, especially since Cisco was already having a bad day (again) before the Rogues came in and made it worse. That said, I do believe Lisa meant it when she said that he was her first real friend, and they did have some very sweet moments when she turned off the charm and had a real conversation with him. I'm glad that they never dated for real, and I wouldn't have enjoyed it if they had, but they have a good flirty-enemies-to-friends thing going, and I feel like their relationship as it stands in canon is exactly what it should be.
