yuuta's precious little baby gets sick (yuuta x fem! reader, no body description)

When you finally wrestle your way through the sticky deadbolt, you all but collapse in your entryway, ultimately sitting yourself on the ground by your shoe rack. You were having such a tough time with your keys you almost fainted.

It’s then that you finally accept the fact you’ve been avoiding: you’ve caught the flu.

You assume Yuuta’s off working or something—he doesn’t usually use the deadbolt when he’s home alone, so you jump in your place on the floor when he rounds the corner, calling a greeting. He frowns when he sees your position.

“Hi, baby. Just… taking off my shoes.” You mumble with a slow tug of a lace.

You don’t want to alarm him, Yuuta’s insanely busy with work as of late—your poor health would just be another stressor. He’ll probably be able to tell something’s up, but you intend to downplay your symptoms if you can help it.

He certainly doesn’t need to know you almost passed out with the effort of turning a key just now.

“Oh yeah?” He chuckles a little, standing above you. “Why from down there?”

“‘T’s easier this way.” You hum, managing to free one foot, trying not to act winded by the action.

Yuuta’s crouched in front of you then, a cold hand placed over your forehead. He frowns, helping you remove the other shoe and then gently tugging you up.

“Sweet girl. You’re sick.”

His tone is gently reprimanding. Like you’ve done something bad, though he isn’t angry. That something’s likely your failure to mention this sooner, going so far as to drive yourself all the way home from your work trip thirty minutes away. You hadn’t wanted to worry him.

You can tell you were unsuccessful in that regard as you’re tugged softly but urgently to your room, half your weight held up by strong arms. You’re sure he’s itching to just carry you, but chose to avoid causing a fuss—a wise move. You dislike feeling weak on principle, plus you’re semi-delirious with fever. You’d have gotten mad.

Once inside, Yuuta’s guiding you to sit on the bed, holding you up when your posture takes the consistency of a limp noodle.

“Let’s get you out of your uniform, pretty.” His tone is soothing, though you aren’t thrilled by his intentions.

With a groan and nod, you hold your arms up when he lifts them over your head how he wants, pulling off your shirt.

You’re immediately shivering, whining ‘T’s cold Yuu! as your hot skin’s exposed to air.

“Sorry, sorry—”

Yuuta turns a bit frantic when he finds the drawer he expected to find a sweatshirt in empty, deciding to just yank his own old emo band hoodie over his head and shove it over yours. You’re still shivering then, but he grits his teeth and yanks off your jeans, too.

You start crawling under the covers before he can even get you new pants, curling in a ball to conserve heat. Suddenly you feel like you’re made of ice.

Yuuta looks pained, his brows stitched together.

“Baby… you should’ve called me,” he tucks you in while he talks, throwing an additional quilt on top of your comforter. “I would have come to get you.”

“I was doing fine! It’s not too bad.”

You let out a cough, unable to hold it in. It’s raspy and Yuuta practically glares at the sound.

“I’ll be right back, okay?”

He disappears briefly then, reappearing with some water and medicine, as well as a cool, damp washcloth.

He sits on the bed by your pillow, lifting you carefully so you barely have to try when you sit up to swallow the drugs, laying you back down just as gently.

His touch is tender when he dots a kiss to your forehead before smoothing the towel over it, his hand lingering by your face to caress your cheek over and over.

You grip his wrist while he does, holding his touch in place even after the stroking stops. There’s a silent bit while you let your eyes close, leaning your head against his palm. You really are starting to feel awful, but definitely cared for.

“I should make you soup or something.”

You honestly don’t have an appetite, though you likely should at this hour.

“Rather you lay with me.” You murmur, peeking eyelids open with immense effort.

Yuuta hums, his thumb resuming its stroking.

Eventually, presumably after deciding whether soup was more important, you get a little okay, and his hand is pulled away so he can get under the covers next to you.

Yuuta pulls you to his chest then, and you realize once again the gravity of your illness; you hadn’t even noticed that he’d been shirtless when he stripped off his hoodie. Normally you would have ogled at least a little.

His skin feels cool to touch but you burrow yourself in his wide chest anyways, nuzzling your cheek over his heart while he readjusts your falling washcloth. You feel his lips on the top of your head. You feel his palms sliding soothingly over your back. You feel his all-consuming love nursing you better than any medicine could.

!! LOST IN THE BOOK WITH STITCH EVENT SPOILERS !!

This is already the second update, wasn't able to update sooner due to being sick (caught the flu), but I'm feeling a lot better now

So let's pick up where we left off (Part 1):

It's the next morning, and everyone (minus Lilia) didn't get good sleep due to mosquitoes (i mean real I can't sleep with those things biting me either). Everyone is just suffering from itchiness and Stitch helps Grim out by scratching his body. But then, Gantu's minions appear again and everyone is forced to fight

So now everyone is hungry, and they decide to split into groups in search for food and shelter. The groups are Floyd, Riddle, Jack, Yuu and Grim and the second group are compose of Lilia, Ace, Azul, and Stitch

Our first focus is on Floyd's Team, who's in charge for the shelter. Floyd suggests that they make a big house and everyone is like "nah that ain't possible" and Floyd said that they can use wood to make a house, but Riddle wasn't sure about the idea; since there is nothing that will support the wood and it will still result in the shelter collapsing

Instead of fighting, Riddle proposed on making a shelter based on their own styles, in which Floyd praised and teased him for the idea. Yuu gets choices to join or not, but they're pretty much forced to join because if they don't Floyd will respond that there's a punishment

So the group begins searching for materials. After a while, Yuu and Grim are exhausted from gathering wood and decided to gather food. Jack's carrying wood for him and Riddle, but he got annoyed when Floyd asked for his pieces to be carried cuz he got lazy 😭, and then Stitch appears to help Jack carry the wood

Riddle is still curious about Gantu's minions attaking them from left and right, but they gathered enough parts to get Stitch's spaceship repaired

That's when Stitch found a place for them to set up the shelter in Shore Island Beach, which is fit for them. There were also big shells that can be used as plates but Floyd suddenly didn't wanna help. Turns out the big shells were actually hermit crabs, and Floyd just wanted to mess with them

Now let's focus on Lilia's group, who's in charge of food and water (I am sensing something bad is gonna happen). Lilia just wants to play by the beach but Azul and Ace are just stopping him from getting sidetracked 💀

Lilia also suggested that they look for drinking water for hydration, in which Azul agrees and then Ace thought that Lilia was gonna go to the beach to get some water but Lilia tells him that seawater isn't good for drinking

But it turns out Lilia did some strolling around the island last night and found a waterfall which is close to the forest. Once getting to the location, the group is relieved to find drinking water. It also reminded Lilia of his past, he then prepares a pot to boil water and asks both Ace and Azul to keep an eye on the pot. When asked why, Lilia answers that he and Stitch will look for ingredients to make soup (oh no)

While they're doing that, Ace gets bored and asks Azul if the water is ready yet, and Azul replies that it's not. Ace was planning to tempt Azul into swimming in the waterfall, but Azul isn't gonna fall for thaf easily

Stitch and Lilia come back, with the alien carrying various fruits, but there as a golden fruit Lilia picked up which surprised Ace and Stitch. When Azul tried the said fruit, he nearly died 😭😭😭; and Ace and Stitch start to panic when Lilia offers them the fruit

Yuu and Grim find Lilia's Group with Azul still on the floor and was gonna ask Ace what happened to him until Lilia butts in asking if they want a taste of the fruit but Ace is like "no don't" and once again you're given more choices. If you wanna fuck with Ace and choose to try the golden fruit, Ace panics and tells you to go for the banana instead

Shoyo Hinata

his love language is physical touch

after every one of his games, the first thing he does when he sees you is tackles you to the ground in a hug

the day he walks beside you without holding your hand is the he is kidnapped and replaced with a clone

and he’d always place a kiss on the tip of your nose and vice versa before you went your separate ways on the walk home

and one time he caught a flu and (because he loved you so much) he wouldn’t go within 10 feet of you for like a week

and that was the hardest week of his life

he almost had a meltdown on day 3

HOW WAS HE SUPPOSED TO SURVIVE WITHOUT HIS GOODBYE KISSES?!

but don’t worry because as soon as his flu subsided, he gave you enough hugs and kisses to compensate for the whole week he missed

Tobio Kageyama

his love language is word of affirmation

honestly, whenever you compliment his volleyball skills (even if it sounds really amateur) it makes his heart go 💖💞💕💓

not that he’d even admit it though

and recently, he’s been trying to compliment you more because some how he came to the conclusion that he wasn’t being nice enough to you and that you’d leave him for Oikawa if he didn’t step up his game

so whenever you mention one of your slight achievements to him, he goes insane with the praise

“Oh, Kags. Did I tell you about the English test?”

“No, you didn’t.”

“Well, I got a pretty good mark so don’t stress about it. It was an easy test but you should probably still study though-”

“A good mark? (Y/N), that’s amazing.” He said in a monotonous voice, making you snicker slightly.

Although his flattery didn’t seem genuine, you still appreciated his efforts

At least he tries

he just wants to make you feel the way he does when you compliment him 🥺

Kei Tsukishima

his love language is acts of service

to him, nothing says ‘i love you’ like helping him fold the laundry

he does acts of service for you too, like helping you with your homework

or sometimes you help him with his homework

honestly, it didn’t take long for you to figure out this man’s love language considering he’d describe all the other things as ‘shallow’

(other than quality time)

“Seriously? I mean, I’d hate to be in a relationship that was based off of compliments. That shit gets tiring, y’know?” he’d gush to you while you both were buying the groceries

and don’t even get him started when you make his lunch hhhhhhh

one time he went downstairs to see that you had already made him lunch and at first he thought it was sweet but no big deal so he just texted you

‘Thx for the lunch btw’

but when he actually got a bite of your god-tier onigiri

he deadass almost got up and said 🚶‍♂️✌

anyway when he got home you got railed so <3

and by railed, i mean you heart got railed because he gave you a kiss on the forehead :3

Tadashi Yamaguchi

his love language is words of affirmation

again, his heart goes brrrrr whenever you compliment him

but it’s different depending on what you compliment him on

when it is on his volleyball skills, he feels chuffed and not absolutely worthless

if it is has something to do with his facial appearance, he gets that warm tingly feeling inside and gets the urge to cuddle you - which he usually acts on

but if it is a comment on his body..the unholy thoughts-

like on one hand, he wants to crawl into a hole and die

but on the other hand, he is like ‘is that so?’

anyway, he doesn’t act on either of those thing so he usually ends up making a comment about your height in response

also, you make sure to shower this boy in compliments because he deserves it

and he does the exact same right back at you because you deserve it too

but he is shy so he either writes a note to you in class or, more commonly, he ends up texting you after a date like

‘omg I AM SO STUPID AAAAAAA..! I wanted to say this so bad while I was with you but i just couldn’t >< anyway i think you look so beautiful and your hair was absolutely gorgeous in that style, goodnight <3′

Ryunosuke Tanaka

his love language is quality time

this man has no chill

if you text him like ‘omg i wish you were here bb 🥺’

my mans would be RUNNING WKDHWESAK

his personal motto is ‘get that bread, get that head, get that love and affection, get that attention, get that movie, stay the night, THEN LEAVE! PEACE OUT!’

his home his your home and your home is his home

then there was that one time that he studied so hard on his tests, just so he could pass and hopefully get moved up into your class

mission unsuccessful but he did get good grades ^^

Yuu Nishinoya

his love language is receiving/giving gifts

which is really hard coz y’all are poor lol

jk jk

but anyway, sometimes you find a cool rock on the ground and then give it to him like “this rock reminded me of you..”

and honestly, he thinks that his is the cutest thing ever

he has a display on his windowsill in his room of all the rocks you’ve given him ever

and sometimes he’ll catch an insect, put it in a container or a plastic bag and give it to you like “it reminded me of you!”

then he hands you a tub filled with worms lmao

it’s the thought that counts

Asahi Azumane

his love language is physical touch

contrary to popular belief - it is not words of affirmation

he likes compliments and feeling worthy as much as the next person but..

sometimes it makes him kinda flustered and self-conscious

anyway, he thinks that actions speak louder than words

before a game, rather than verbally encouraging him, he prefers it when you play with his fingers or give him a massage

that relaxes him ten times more than words ever could

and he might not act like it in front of his friends - but he spends most of his day looking forward to 9 o’clock when y’all can both be together and cuddle in bed ^^

also, before a big game you make it your mission to wake up especially early , find Asahi and do his hair

firstly, you do it better than he ever could

secondly, the feeling of your fingers gently massaging his scalp and lacing his hair in between them just made him so calm

and in those moments he would just look up at you with admiration in his eyes and wonder what he ever did to deserve you

Koshi Sugawara

his love language is quality time

this man actually gets physical withdrawal symptoms when he is away from you for too long

and his teammates know symptoms off by heart and the order they appear in so they can identify when Suga is going through YNWF ( Y/N withdrawal fever ):

The first sign of YNWF; excessive lip biting, lip dryness and generally poor lip condition - this is due to the fact that (Y/N) is the one that always reminds Suga to put on lip balm

The second sign of YNWF; becoming lenient and overly nice to the first years - since (Y/N) isn’t here, he has nobody to be nice to. So he is nice to the children.

The third phase of YNWF - and probably the most dangerous; mood swings. He goes from fanon to canon Suga real quick.

The fourth and final phase of YNWF; denial.

“No! I don’t miss (Y/N)! I am doing just fine without them.”

Then his teammates force him to facetime you and then he is cured.

Daichi Sawamura

his love language is physical touch

every second he spends with you, he has his hands on you

not always in a sexual way, ofc

and he’ll immediately back off if you are even slightly uncomfortable with it

but he just loves he feeling of having you close to him

it makes him feel like he is protecting you (especially in front of Tanaka)

(’tanaka, nice kill!’)

and when he cuddles you to his chest, not only does it warm you up, but you also feel like you’re making him feel big and strong (which you are), so that makes you happy

also, Daichi will lend you ever single jumper/jersey/jacket he owns if you even shiver within a 10 metre radius of him

Chikara Ennoshita

his love language is quality time

y’all don’t even need to be talking or even interacting

as long as he is in the same room as you, he is chill

(Narita and Kinoshita are also quality time kinda guys because it is not like they get any quality time in the actual anime smh)

Casper’s HCs

stomach bugs/fevers

i don’t imagine him getting sick very often, since i hc him to have an incredible immune system. like, to the point that, even though he always takes care of saeko when she’s sick, he doesn’t always catch her bug, despite being pretty reckless about getting close to her and all of that

having said that, on the occasion that he does get sick, it’s usually because he was taking care of his sister, who caught a bug first

he’s also gotten sick of taking care of others (namely, hinata), because the thought they were motion sick when really they had a bad stomach flu

he won’t go to school if he knows he’s sick, but he’ll often get bored after a day of sitting around alone, playing video games, so he’ll show up for practice in the afternoon. of course, daichi kicks him out immediately. tanaka is less scared of daichi when he’s sick and will even make fun of him, so when daichi starts getting angry, noya will offer to go home with tanaka, which appeases him, because all he really wanted was some company

he gets a lot of energy when he’s sick

kind of acts drunk when he has a fever

“yuu, you know what i just realized?”

“what is it, ryu?”

“you… you’re shorter than me, yuu. i just realized that. you know what? that means you can’t reach as many things!”

noya is a little bit peeved, but forgives him because 1) tanaka’s sick, and doesn’t know what he’s saying, 2) it’s flattering to hear that someone didn’t immediately notice his height, or lack thereof, and 3) the sick boy is on the verge of tears about how sad it is that noya can’t reach so many things, and it’s just sad to watch

food dares

he seems like someone who’d be willing to eat weird food on dares

he’s usually able to succeed through sheer willpower, completing the task without vomiting despite gagging a few times

he holds it together and acts super triumphant until onlookers are gone, and then he’ll spend the rest of the night in the bathroom, puking it all up

motion sickness

he used to get really carsick as a kid, which was really bad because his parents drive as recklessly as his sister

he stopped getting carsick when saeko started driving because the thought of making a mess in saeko’s car was enough to make him fear for his life.

i hc that noya made this fear worse. like ryu told him that saeko had learned to drive and noya was immediately like, “dude, you’ve gotta stop getting carsick.” and ryu was all confused, like, “what do you mean?” and noya was like, “your nee-chan is going to kill you if you mess up her car” and then they were both genuinely scared for ryu’s life, so the first time he rode with saeko, noya came, too, to protect him and encourage him to hold it in. instead noya just ended up laughing and pretending he was on a rollercoaster. thankfully, ryu was able to hold it in on his own

he still gets motion sick on boats and planes, though

loud noises

pretty sure i read somewhere that he has exceptionally good hearing

so he gets nauseous, sometimes to the point of throwing up, if he hears a sudden and loud noise

if you’ve ever accidentally turned your volume way up on your music player and then played it with earbuds in already, you might know how this feels, to some extent

he’s been pranked before (maybe by suga or noya? or other classmates) by people turning up the volume on his phone without him knowing, only to cause him to throw up, sometimes on the person who pranked him

suga and daichi are very protective of him on this issue, since he’s seen the effects, and watch tanaka’s phone like a hawk when tanaka sets it down with earbuds still plugged in

he also has to be careful around blow horns, fireworks, and concerts

response to caretakers

saeko has always taken care of him while he’s sick. it makes him feel a bit childish, but he appreciates it a lot. as long as his sister’s there, he’s able to hold himself together for her sake

noya also takes care of him sometimes. whenever he shows up to practice sick, noya will go home with him and keep an eye on him until saeko takes over

doesn’t resist help while sick, and doesn’t get embarrassed when someone’s around to comfort him - in fact, he appreciates it a lot, because he likes knowing that people care - but he won’t tell anyone, either, even saeko, usually because he doesn’t realize he’s going to get sick until it’s happening

he does get embarrassed if there are girls around, excluding his sister, and he’ll try to hide from them but fails miserably

puking details

a loud puker, to the point where his retches could be mistaken as shouting

a lot of loud retching, not prone to hiccups until his stomach is empty and his throat is raw and at that point they just hurt, and occasionally bring up acidic bile

random

he’s definitely been sick from being punched in a fight before. also, maybe from being punched by daichi? that would explain why he’s so scared. i feel like he would have been an even more unruly first year than the current baby crows, and could see him getting in a fight with someone a year older than him

i hc that he has an intense and paralyzing fear of spiders? idk why, it just seems like he would to me.

Morgan’s HCs

☆Tanaka –Possibly very squeamish about vomit, I mean, remember how he reacted when Hinata threw up on the gym floor? He was completely panicked and calling for someone to do something. And then when Hinata threw up on him in the bus? There was a cut scene between the actual incident and them outside, plenty of time for Tanaka to freak out. Then when he was commenting on Hinata having grown and matured because he managed to wait until he got off the bus before he puked, he was probably relieved.

–Very strong stomach otherwise though, takes more than a little punch or ball to the gut, he’s fine with bad smells and all that. Certain tastes make him gag, of course, but not throw up.

–Acts really tough but is reduced to tears and hiccups when he throws up, babbling on about how uncool it makes him look as a senpai in between heaves.

–Likes to boast about his huge stomach, always challenging people like Kuroo, Noya and Bokuto to eating matches and often winning, though suffering the consequences after when everything makes a vengeful return.

–Gets terribly sympathy sick for anyone he’s really close to, he cannot be in the same room with his friends when they puke otherwise he’s doomed himself to the same fate, though he’s only squeamish about people he’s not so close to (e.g. Hinata)

–Certain foods make him puke for sure, like bananas probably. If he knows he’s eating it, he’ll soon puke, but as long as it’s hidden, he should be absolutely fine. At one point Nishinoya probably chased him around with one, taunting him with the demon fruit.

–Is suprisingly quiet when throwing up, except for the burps that bring with them burning mouthfuls of bile and half digested food and the sobbing.

–He’s actually really emetophobic and will put off vomiting as long as possible, if he can, hating to be out of control like that. He will cry and shake and work himself up more to the point of making himself even more ill.

–Pushing himself too far is basically his thing, mostly because he’s so obsessed with being popular with the ladies. He probably sees his physical fitness as an important part of his person as a whole so he always wants to keep pushing further, to do his best and then some more. It wouldn’t suprise me if he once had a problem with eating disorders, in his earlier school years.
