I sincerely hope I’m sending this request correctly. I wanna ask for a pokemon request where reader has a full Unown team with the Paldea crew reaction(Arven, nemona, penny) and maybe the blueberry academy crew reaction. I love unowns they’re my funky little letter guys. Basically the reader is an Unown enthusiast who only ever has unowns and only ever used Unowns. They have all the forms but the six they use are just the ones they took with them to Paldea. They went through Paldea and became champion with a full Unown team. Same with the bb league. I just think it’d be funny to see everyone’s reactions to that. Their partner mon would be Unown O and the other five you could pick cuz Unown O is my favorite letter. And also if u could write the unowns being affectionate with the reader and vice versa. I just like seeing trainers bonding with their pokemon. Thank you and I enjoy your writing!
(Side note: Honestly if ScarVio was able to have unowns in it you’d bet your ass I’d do a full Unown run. I’ve done it for other games. Was disappointed and sad I couldn’t have any unowns in them, sword/shield too.)
I LOVE the Unowns omg. I got a plushie of V and I'm still trying to get shinies and alphas in PLA
My favorite is F because it looks like a little stick figure but I adore all of them very much <3

.......
General
Ever since discovering the Unown in Johto (Ruins of Alpha) and the two additional forms in Kanto (Tanoby Chambers), you found your calling as a trainer.
An Unown trainer, to be precise.
Unown O was the first one you caught, and has been your battle partner ever since!
You've become something of an enthusiast, asking researchers what they've discovered and documenting the Symbol Pokemon as you collected them.
You've caught so many that you actually encountered a shiny or two--each capture being a success.
Their existence, connection to Arceus, home dimension, and "secret power" when more than one are gathered were all fascinating to you and made you wanna learn more.
You even incorporated some of their designs into your outfit: like gloves and socks that had symbols printed on them, keychains and charms on your jewelry and/or backpack..etc.
All 28 Unown grew to love you, and the ones in your party are super affectionate when you bring them out.
Their favorite game is hide n' seek (taking after their "ancestors" from PLA) around your home, and you like to play along.
Ofc people are wary around Unown given their mysterious nature, but you vow to break that stigma by feeding them treats and letting them nuzzle up to you, showing others that they're just like any other Pokémon: companions who deserved as much love and affection as a Pikachu.
After parting ways with your friends in Kanto and Johto, you don't leave without gifting them an Unown that was the first letter in their name (for Blue you left him a Shiny Unown B...which he still brags about to this day).
You decided to move to Paldea to take your Pokémon training more seriously, attending school and showing off your Unown since they're not native to the region.
Your team consisted of O, as well as N, E, F, R, and M--referring to what all 28 are collectively called (One Form).
Despite knowing they can only use Hidden Power and nothing else (plus the drawbacks from having a psychic-only team), you defied all the odds when you took on not one but TWO championships and won.
And of course, the friends you've made during your journey all got to know the Unown personally.
Paldea
Arven
At first, he thought your Unown team had more to it...until he realized that was ALL you brought to the battlefield.
Just funky letters that only knew one move.
"Oh come on, you're never gonna win with a team like that-"
And then you go and beat him with a team like that, and it shuts him up.
But Arven just rolls his eyes to the sky, making the excuse that he's not used to battling, and moves on.
As you get closer to him, though, and help him take down the Titan Pokémon around Paldea, he warms up to your team and admits they're kinda cool.
He'll only shoo them away if he's making a sandwich, not wanting to be crowded (but tbh he can tolerate Unown O's presence more than your 'raidon's).
You presented him with picks inspired by the designs of some Unown (I, K, T, Y, and !) to hold the ingredients together, and he's thoroughly impressed by your dedication to the craft.
You joked about selling them if you ever went into the art of culinary--yet Arven tells you to seriously consider it.
After the fight with the AI Professor in Area Zero, he sees your entire team pop out of their pokeballs, clearly stressed from being locked inside due to the Paradise Protection Protocol.
You never did a battle without them and were afraid they couldn't protect you, but you reassured them you were okay, letting them stay out during the journey home.
Only then does he realize that sure, they're weird little guys that don't seem all-that powerful, but you treasure them all the same.
Nemona
While she was confused about you not using the Paldea starter the Director offered you..she's HYPED when your real team comes out to play during your first match together: One made entirely of Unown, a Pokémon not even native to Paldea.
She may have read about them in some textbook unrelated to battling and glossed over them.
But to see them in battle left her extremely impressed and asking you dozens of questions afterwards.
They could just change their type when attacking??? She read about Arceus supposedly having that power, but it's awesome that these little letters/symbols can, too!
Despite thinking you'll bore her by having no strategy except "use hidden power", Nemona NEVER wants you to feel discouraged!
She wants to battle your team every time.
As you fight your way through the Pokémon League and all the way up to the Elite Four, she's rooting for you 100%, praising your Unown for overcoming even the toughest terastalized foes.
Knowing your party members, they LOVE praise and are very friendly towards her and her own Pokémon.
If any of them have timid/lonely natures..her words give them a big confidence boost.
And it reflects in their reaction times and how often they'll heal their own status conditions or tank OH-KO hits.
She says you're helping them get stronger every day, but you give her lots of credit, too, for helping you get this far.
Penny
While dealing with Team Star, Giacomo's dark team put your Unown through a world of hurt...
Penny had been watching the battle, worried that he was going to be the reason you failed to squander the organization.
Yet by some miracle, your team came out on top!
Only then does she realize you were more than capable of taking down all the bases.
Unown P comes out to greet her while you've doing an LP exchange, and it scared her pretty badly.
Especially as it just...stares. Occasionally blinking once or twice as she tries talking to you.
Conversations are hard enough for her already, and staring doesn't help matters, so she gets ready to leave-
But then its tune changes when you pat it on the head(?) and it trills happily, snuggling up to you.
Penny had to do a double-take, wondering how it managed to look so cute..but she dismisses your concerns when you asked why she made that face.
Later, after revealing she's the leader and becoming your friend thereafter...she still gets anxious around the Unown from time-to-time, but eventually warms up to their presence.
You don't treat them any differently despite their mysterious nature.
If anything, you care for them just like anyone would a cute Eevee: by spoiling them with love, treats, and sweet words of encouragement.
Penny felt like a hypocrite for being scared of them, considering people used to be scared of Team Star--yet they aren't as evil as everyone made them out to be.
They used to be lonely and misunderstood, just like the Unown were before you found them.
BB Academy
Kieran
When you showed off your team for the first time, Kieran was stunned.. remembering the things he read about them but didn't know they could actually be caught.
All he says when you show him Unown K is "wowzers".
And the journal entries you've logged turned his eyes into stars.
You show him all the photographs of ruins and Unown blending in during your trips to the signboards, rambling about what you've seen and discovered.
He loves listening to your tales..and wishes he could see those places with you.
But what he didn't like, however, was whenever you two had a battle in which your Unown only needed one command to win. You didn't have to try at all.
Even with his team's most supereffective attacks..speed and dumb luck were on your side, crushing his confidence and making him jealous.
It doesn't help when you still decided to keep Ogerpon despite you saying you only ever used Unown.
It wasn't fair.
And ofc by Indigo Disk, Kieran wants nothing more than to destroy your team, insulting them under his breath when he thinks you can't hear him.
You just scowl and cover their nonexistent-ears while they nuzzle up to you--although deep down, you knew he didn't mean those words.
He's just pissed off that he lost sleep and his appetite over training his team, giving them the best moves and items to utilize on the battlefield..only for you to sweep the BB League with a simple command.
He managed to OH-KO one Unown with Incineroar's Darkest Lariat..and that sinister grin you saw on his face was most unnerving.
But you still claimed victory over him and he takes the loss hard.
Down in Area Zero, he's convinced that the "Hidden Treasure" Terapagos can take down your "Hidden Power" team..
But after seeing them form a shield (similar to the crystal one in the Spell of Unown movie) that protects him when the legendary goes rogue..it changed his perspective.
Only then he understood why they were so powerful.
As the Unovian Pokedex said: Alone, nothing happens..but together, Unown are strong and invoke a great power.
When the dust settles, O floats into Kieran's hands, healing the pain in his wrist caused by Terapagos breaking the masterball.
He felt so so guilty for the name-calling and his desires to hurt them. Yet they've all forgiven him.
In a way, Unown remind you of him: small and unassuming, at first glance..but full of great power that's waiting to shine.
During Mochi Mayhem, K stays by his side while he holds off the possessed townspeople and you capture Pecharunt, growing quite attached to him.
And after coming back to the academy, you decide to trade him that Unown, hoping he incorporates it into one of his teams. Be it casual or competitive.
Carmine
Back in Kitakami, she laughed at your "puny"-looking letter Pokémon, thinking them to be weak as she sics Poochyena and Polteageist on them.
While their dark/ghost moves hit the Unown hard, it's Unown O who takes them down with critical hits..and Carmine got LIVID.
She impressed you're sticking with a team that appeared in ancient texts, although that doesn't dissuade her from teasing you about them for a while.
Ngl you nerding out over Unown facts and studies you've recorded reminds her of Kieran infodumping about Ogerpon.
Your Unown just glare at her, and you gotta call them back to your side before they try attacking her outside a battle.
However as time goes on and she warms up to you, meets Ogerpon, etc..she grows to like them more, too.
Eventually she's cheering them on as they take down the Loyal Three and tank their poison attacks.
By Indigo Disk's events, she comes around to genuinely smile at their presence.
Although she had concerns Kieran's new team would be too overwhelming for them...
Yet your team of hieroglyphics won anyways.
And down in Area Zero's underdepths, they invoked a great power to shield the siblings from Terapagos' attacks, protecting the two people who once hated and mocked them with all they had.
As they both break down in tears, some Unown come out of their pokeballs to comfort them, and O stays on your shoulder as you exit the cavern together.
A few photobomb the selfie you take with the twins back at the academy (as well as Kitakami's festival), but it's alright.
Carmine will allow it because you treasured them and they DID save her and her brother's skin.
Drayton
While you did struggle during his trial (due to his "Terarium Pokemon-only" rule), the actual battle caught him by surprise when your Unown swept the floor, taking down his dragons.
How Unown F was able to withstand an Electro Shot was beyond him, but it was sturdy enough to finish the fight with a Fairy-based Hidden Power.
After winning, you both take a selfie in commemoration, with you passing F to Drayton like "can we get an F in the chat" and him humbly accepting it.
It was all in good fun, and looking back on it in your scrapbook made you laugh.
But what you didn't feel good about was him rubbing your victory in Kieran's face after you win the championship, further shattering the kid who nearly keeled over trying to make the perfect team to beat you..only for some "letters" to kick him down into the dirt.
"Wow, that's tough..now are you gonna take the F or L, ex-champ?"
He forgot this kid doesn't understand much internet lingo, but Unown F and Unown L didn't appreciate his jokes, and neither did you.
But after the events in Area Zero, you let it go, eventually deciding to trade him Unown D as your way of thanking him for helping you get close enough to knock sense back into Kieran.
Crispin
Let's face it, he's gonna be staring at your Unown like a Magikarp out of water and ask how they eat..
Or if they eat at all for that matter.
Their eyes just blink and poof, their share of the meal is already gone.
He knows they're psychic Pokémon, but still...
His favorite ones are definitely C (bc of his name) and S (for Spicy), though he's eager to see how your team fairs in battle when you clear his trial.
You warn him it might be "boring" but he acts like you insulted his cooking and begs you not to say that again.
"Every Pokémon battle gets me fired up!!!!! Don't downplay yourself!!!"
Even when your Unown easily douse his Pokémon's flames with Water-based Hidden Power (and Fire for his Exeggcutor), he still had a blast battling you, realizing those little letters are full of vigor and surprises!
He's eager to see what supereffective type they're gonna use next.
When you eventually decide to trade, you contemplate giving him an extra Unown F you had..or a C.
But you settle for the latter, and Crispin promises to feed the little guy well!
Lacey
Unown are small, simple, and make trilling noises...all checking off her criteria of "cute" Pokémon!
Although knowing they're connected to Arceus--the literal god of all 'mons--is an unnerving fact, she agrees that they're adorable and deserve to be treated as such.
She gets to learn your team's different natures, and likes how you're trying to convince people that they're not as scary as the old legends present them.
They love nuzzling up to you, resting on your shoulder and/or head, twirling around, and playing with the local Minior.
That being said..Lacey gets shocked at the punch they pack during battle, with them using Poison or Steel-based Hidden Power to take down her fairies.
It's always the most unsuspecting Pokémon who are the most powerful.
Even if you worry about the battle being boring since all you can give out is one command, she's gonna turn your pessimistic thinking around!
Unown F is her favorite since it's looks like a stick figure, but Unown L is also pretty neat..yet she wonders why Unown ? and Unown ! look tired all the time...
When you trade her a letter/symbol, she's thrilled to welcome yet another cute Pokémon onto her team!
Amarys
Considering their affiliations with ruins and Arceus, the existence of Unown have always piqued her interest.
And you so-happened to be a walking encyclopedia of anything related to the Symbol Pokémon, given the journals you've written on their mannerisms.
Amarys likes reading them over, and thinks a quiz involving the Unown Alphabet would be good to have at BB Academy.
On the other hand, after your battle to climb the League rankings, she wonders if you've ever used other Pokémon..only to find out that you never did.
All you know are Unowns.
She won't force you to change your team members, seeing as they were able to beat ALL of the league members--including Kieran.
But she suggests you had one Unown use Hidden Power on its battle partner, who could hold onto a Weakness Policy.
Yet you're adamant, saying "why would I want one Unown to hurt the other just for a temporary attack boost? :((("
Your team members are besties, your cuddle buddies..how could you do that to them???
Amarys is genuinely touched by how much you care for your Unowns, and vice versa.
Speaking of which, Unown A started hanging around her more often..and she cautiously tries to pet it, surprised by its happy trills, but otherwise acts nonchalant.
When you both decide to trade, you give her that Unown and she promises to look after it.

Title: It's okay...
Transformers Au: Hand in hand together forever.
Blitzwing and Bumblebee are standing on the edge of a small cliff at the end of a forest. On Dinobot Island.
They overlook Detroit at night, the full moon letting light dance across the water... the city in the distance is glowing brightly.
Bumblebee throws a few glaces towards Blitzwing, who is standing motioless beside him. He seemed spaced out he had been like this since they arrived here a few hours ago.
Bumblebee knew the Decepticon was a silent type when his facial plate was blue and normally, he himself would fill the silence with chatter but... today, something felt different.
Blitzwing wasn't just silent. His battlemask was hiding his lower face and his armor was tightly pressed to his frame like he was stressed... his wings lowered like he was concerned about something...
he had stopped hiding his face around Bumblebee long ago just a couple months after they started meeting in secret.
So seeing the mask now back in place felt almost alien...
A few more minutes past with nothing happening between them, a gentle breeze rustling the forests' leafs.
Bumblebee couldn't take it anymore.
"Hey...Blitz" he asked quietly, now turning towards him.
Blitzwing seemed to unfreeze at the motion and looked down towards Bumblebee, but he stayed silent.
Bumblebee gave him a small smile. "Could you maybe kneel down for a minute"
The tripple changer tilted his head but kneeled, placing one servo on his left knee joint while leaning closer, bringing them almost face to face.
Bumblebees face lit up at that and he reached his servos out slowly, seeing that Blitzwings optics were still distant. He placed his servos on either side of the battlemask.
That seemed to do the trick.
Blitzwings wings flinched upwards his optics focused on Bee, his unoccupied servo twitched like he wanted to reach out for the servos placed on his armor.
Bee smilled warmly, seeing the recognition return to Blitzwings optics
"Hey..." Bee spoke quietly, seeing the others' optics become warm... but there was also a certain saddness there.
Bumblebee had seen it before...
"It's okay..." He continued speaking softly, hopping that all the warmth he felt would be audible in his voice.
"You are here... with me in our little safety bubble. " At that Blitzwing seem to perk up again this time his optic twitched probably a small smile beneath the masks brownish metall.
"and im not going anywhere...ok? We are here right now right here, im here for you...and" he looked of to the side fake pouting "its boring to talk to myself when i know you are driffting of" a small chuckle escaped Blitzwing muffled by the mask.
Slowly, two black and purple servos reached up, taking the yellow once into his. They were warm and comforting in the chili autumn air.
Blitzwing pulled Bees servos away from his face, letting the mask retract back beneath his chin, revealing the blue faceplate beneath. the sharp denta that made up his lips pulled up slightly, making Bees spark jump he probably turned blue blushing.
"Thank you, love..." he hummed, intertwing their servos even with the size difference they seem to perfectly fit into each other.
Bumblebee smiled, reveling his denta. before he let it turn into a soft smile as well.
"You dont have to tell me what's wrong Blitz..." he said, looking lovingly at the triple changer. "...just know that everything will be alright as long as we are together... ok?"
Blitzwing nodded. "How could i ever forget... with you at my side..."
They leaned they'r forheads togheter "... everything will 'bee' alright..."
Bumblebee gasped. " Was that-" he snorted, pulling back slightly, staring at the now black face plate. " That was terrible!"
Blitzwings random persona giggled " but honey beeee"
And so they laughed together... till sunrise...
Unown time
location battlefield: earth
Explosions and laser fier can be heard in the distance, a giant spacecraft above.
the grass is burned the forest in ashes....
Detroit is burning in the distance...
and in the far corners near a mountain, on dino bot illand...energon is spilled all over a cliff....at the end of a Forest.. a soft breeze fuels the fier as trees fall... and animal skater...
Two servos, one yellow broken twisted beyond recognition and one Black and purple almost pink from the amount of energon on it, dryed and crusted... they were intwined as the grass and ashes settled around them... forgotten and left to rust...
togheter forever...

Tagged by @bagadew (Also tagging in @waermeflasche because you tagged me weeks ago and I didn't get back to you)
Last song I listened to: Soap by The Oh Hellos. I burn CDs and listen to them in my car. (The first few I tried to give themes and titles, and select the perfect song orders, but ended up kind of bad and the other was cursed and wouldn't play even though I remade it three times, so I just switched to throwing a ton of songs together on "Random Mixes" and enjoying.) I was listening to my very first random mix on the drive home from work and this one came up. It's a pretty snazzy song. I think Theseus and Hello, My Old Heart are my favourites from the band.
Last book I read: Can I do a couple? I just recently finished Play of Shadows by Sebastien de Castell. It's the first book of Court of Shadows, the sequel series to his Greatcoats series. Greatcoats is one of my favourite series, filled with swashbuckling action, clever humour, and an absolutely miserable protagonist, Falcio val Mond, who always manages to get back up and keep going anyway. I read everything de Castell writes, and after a string of books with severe pacing problems (check out The Malevolent Seven for a book that doesn't have a second act) and other problems (I have a hard time seeing any book topping Crucible of Chaos as the worst book I've read this year), he finally seems to be back. The book didn't pack quite the emotional punch of some of his other books, but it definitely made me want to jump up and cheer for the heroes at the end.
The other book I just finished is The Warm Hands of Ghosts by Katherine Arden. I liked her Winternight Trilogy (look it up and be prepared for some absolutely gorgeous covers, with prose to match), so I was excited to see something new from her. This book was about World War I, with some fantasy elements used for magic realism. (Portraying a soldier's struggle with addiction and PTSD through the lens of him losing his soul to the devil was a brilliant idea.) I most subsist on a steady diet of fantasy books, but this one had me hungering to read a few more historical books. I might have to pick up some books about the Halifax Explosion.
Last film I watched: I haven't watched much on my own for a while, but my friends do a movie night every Sunday. The last two times I tuned in, we watched Jesus Christ Superstar and Pokemon 3: Spell of the Unown. They were both fairly cute movies. I liked Judas's actor.
Last TV series I watched: I've been making my way through The Office for the first time. I'm on Season 3 and this happened to me, actually. There was some stuff I was like, "Wow, that was funny. I should tell my coworkers about it," but then I realized that I can't be the guy who tells his coworkers about this funny new show called The Office.
Last video game I played: If visual novels count, Umineko. I've been working my way through it slowly for about five and a half years and I'm finally closing in on the end. It's peak fiction and the greatest love story of the twentieth century. It's also funny I picked a game this insanely long for my first visual novel. Other than visual novels, I just finished Pokemon Legends: Arceus, after putting in 104 hours this year. Completing the Dex is my favourite part of any Pokemon game, so having it be more involved and include a big checklist made the game basically crack for me. I've also been casually playing some Star Wars: Battlefront II (2005) with my brother. Every time we play it, I'm always amazed by how good it is and how much content it has. I want to take command posts forever.
Last thing I googled: "Dandadan Aira". I just started the manga the other day and I like her best, so I wanted to double check her full name, I think? Other than that I'm mostly looking up when books are available at my local stores. I've been religiously checking when The Book that Broke the World will be available and I'm not even sure if I'm buying it.
Last thing I ate: A few snacks from my snack drawer. I also had a Quaker yogurt bar at work. I bought a big box of them last year, but I had to throw them out because of the Salmonella. (Chewed through a lot of them before that came out, though, including eating three on an airplane.)
Amount of sleep: Supposedly seven hours, since I went to bed right after finishing The Warm Hands of Ghosts last night. The only problem is that if I get to bed at a good time, I sleep fitfully, so I'm either sleeping poorly or sleeping well, but not getting anywhere near enough sleep.
Currently reading: I started Empire of Silence, the first book of The Sun Eater by Christopher Ruocchio, at work today. I've had the first three books sitting on my shelf for a year or two and I finally got around to starting it. (I'd resolved to do both this series and Kushiel's Legacy this year, after having both for so long, and I got that one done at the start.) I'm not very far in, but I enjoy the writing style a lot, even if a lot of the worldbuilding is obviously cribbed from Dune. (Whoa, look, mentats.) I've heard it picks up a lot in the second book, so I'm excited for what's in store for me.
Passing this on, I'll tag @somerunner @lyssq @soulsinshadow @lunawithsocks and @dancerladyaqua. (They also have currently watching and sweet, salty, or savoury as questions, which I didn't do.)

ditto (i think maybe i like you)
summary: oikawa sucks at pokémon go. prompt: none, but written for @monstrsball! merry christmas!!!! pairings: tooru oikawa/koushi sugawara words: 2007 warnings: none
It is December 22, there is a biting chill in the air, and Kotodai Park is crowded as fuck. Oikawa sits cross legged on the steps by a fountain, trying not to shiver as he stares at his phone.
He knows he probably should have worn a heavier jacket—it’s been a cold winter so far and, really, he had no reason to suspect it would be any warmer today—but it’s too late now. If Iwaizumi were here, he would be berating Oikawa to no end about fevers and chills, but Iwaizumi had just ditched him to chase after what he suspects is an Unown somewhere at the other end of the park, so whatever. Fuck Iwaizumi.
Then again, Iwaizumi is only five Unown forms away from completing the set, so Oikawa kind of gets it. Kind of. He’s still cold, though, and still wants to ask to borrow Iwaizumi’s scarf for the afternoon. Oikawa has always gotten cold so easily and Iwaizumi runs warm; the scarf is probably wrapped loosely around his neck more because he doesn’t want to hold it than because he’s actually cold.
But either way, Iwaizumi had gone chasing after the Unown and Oikawa is still sitting at this fountain and trying to catch a stupid fucking Pidgey and praying it’s secretly a Ditto. He doesn’t even want the Pidgey that badly, he just needs a Ditto to finish one of his Research Tasks and someone had told Makki who had told Mattsun who had told Oikawa that catching a Pidgey is his best bet at finding a Ditto in disguise.
He’s having no luck, though, because this Pidgey with a stupid low CP is refusing to get into the stupid Pokéball and Oikawa is going insane. He puts his finger to the screen and then swipes up, ever so carefully aiming for the Pokémon, and the Pidgey is captured for three—two—one—and then it’s bursting free again.
Oikawa kind of wants to scream, but he’s in public, and so maybe that’s not appropriate.
“Hey, uh—” Oikawa looks up from his phone, resisting the urge to throw it on the ground and stomp on it, and possibly the most beautiful man he’s ever seen is standing next to him— “I’m so sorry about this, and I didn’t mean to be looking over your shoulder, really, but you’ve been trying to catch that Pokémon for fifteen minutes and I think that’s a new record, actually, but do you—maybe—want help?”
Oikawa stares. It’s a testament to how tired of this game he is and also how beautiful the man before him is that he just sighs and gives up. “Yeah, actually.”
The man grins at him, and it’s like staring into a beam of moonlight. Oikawa is in love, possibly.
He jumps down a step to sit down next to Oikawa, still smiling as he says, “I’m Koushi Sugawara. You can call me Suga. You’re feeding it Pinap Berries and that doesn’t actually do anything to increase the catch rate. Gimme—” he motions to Oikawa’s phone— “I promise I won’t steal it.”
“Tooru Oikawa,” Oikawa says, and hands his phone over. He doesn’t even question it. Probably he should be questioning it a little bit. “Are you telling me I’ve been playing this way for months and these stupid berries don’t actually do anything?”
“I mean, they increase the candy you get if you can catch it while the berry is active,” Suga says, “but it’s not helping you catch it.”
Suga takes his phone, pulling off the glove on his right hand and holding the phone in his left. He holds the phone up, tongue hesitating on his bottom lip as he concentrates. In one swift movement, he’s swiping up on the Pokéball and the Pidgey is captured. Oikawa is in love, definitely.
“Making it look easy,” Oikawa says, rolling his eyes. “I swear it wasn’t that easy when I was doing it.”
“It’s an app,” Suga says. “You just gotta time it right.”
Oikawa heaves a sigh, looking on as Suga taps at his screen. “And it’s not even a Ditto.”
“I don’t think that a Ditto is ever gonna be disguised as a Pidgey.” Suga hands the phone back to Oikawa. “Whoever told you that was lying.”
“I’m gonna kill Makki,” Oikawa mutters. Then, failing at keeping out any bitterness from his voice, “I only downloaded this game because all my friends were playing and I wanted to see what all that fuss is about, but if they’re all just going to use it to mess with me then I might as well delete it.”
Suga laughs—it’s a bright, clear sound; startlingly honest. “I can trade you a Ditto if you want. To make up for it.”
“I think I have to capture it in the wild to complete the quest, but thanks.”
“That was me asking for your Trainer code,” Suga says, snorting.
“Oh,” Oikawa says, staring. He blinks. “Oh! Yeah! Yeah, yeah, sure.”
Laughing again, Suga pulls out his own phone and opens it up. He hands it over to Oikawa after a second, the QR code for his Pokémon Go profile pulled up on the screen. Oikawa scans it and adds him as a friend, his profile popping up after only a moment.
“Perfect,” Suga tells him, smiling. He’s a little shorter than Oikawa, and in the afternoon sun, he looks like he’s glowing, like he’s something ethereal. “While we’re at it, can I get your number?”
The corner of Oikawa’s mouth tilts up in a smirk. “Depends why you’re asking.”
Suga hesitates for only a beat before he says, “Because I can probably teach you how to play Pokémon Go better than any of your other friends can and I’d like to put that theory to the test.”
Oikawa snorts. “I’ll take you up on that offer. My friend is around here somewhere but keeps running off to capture Pokémon before he finishes any explanation of what he’s doing.”
“Sounds like I get your number then,” Suga says, grinning. His smile takes up his whole face, transforming the previous amused concentration into something brighter, something without a care in the world. But there’s a kind of nervousness with it, too, like he’s afraid Oikawa is going to reject him.
“Sounds like it,” Oikawa tells him. “Hand me your phone, I’ll put it in.”
Suga grins, handing over his own phone. Oikawa types in his number and then hands it back. He finds, as their fingers brush, that he’s no longer nearly as cold as he had been.
“Thanks,” Suga says. He opens his mouth to say something else, but just then Oikawa hears Iwaizumi call out his name. Suga smiles, a little crooked. “That your friend calling you?”
Oikawa blinks, and the spell that had been keeping the two of them in their own little world is broken. “Oh, yeah, I think so. I’ll catch you later?”
“I’ll text you,” Suga promises. “And maybe even send you a Ditto, if you want one. I have five.”
Oikawa’s eyebrows raise. “Five?”
Suga shrugs, taking a step backwards and starting to walk away. “I play this game a lot.”
“Still,” Oikawa says, calling after him as Suga turns around, smiling, “Five?”
Suga just waves a hand goodbye, leaving Oikawa laughing a little in his wake. He jumps slightly when Iwaizumi comes up behind him, putting a hand on his shoulder.
“Who was that?”
“Just…someone,” Oikawa says, biting back a smile. “He helped me catch a Pidgey.”
Iwaizumi looks at him incredulously. “You needed a stranger's help for that?”
“Oh, shut up, I don’t see you helping me. Did you catch your Unown?”
Iwaizumi looks away from the direction Suga had walked off into and grins at Oikawa. “I did. Four left, now.”
“Good for you, Iwa,” Oikawa says. “My phone’s about to die, can we go home now?”
“Yeah, yeah, yeah. So impatient.”
It’s not until the next day that Oikawa gets a text from Suga. He had almost thought that Suga would never text—he didn’t forget, of course he didn’t forget about the man who had helped him win the Pidgey now named KOUSHI!—and it comes as a surprise when the text comes in during the pick up game he had wrangled Iwaizumi, Matsukawa, and Hanamaki into.
They’re in between sets, taking a break for water, when Oikawa sees the text.
Hey, this is Suga, from the park yesterday! You want to grab coffee or something sometime today? We can go on a walk after, if you know what I mean.
Oikawa can feel his cheeks flush as he stares at the message. It’s ridiculous, that some random boy would make him feel like this, all warm and excited at the idea of a walk to catch digital Pokémon. He doesn’t know anything about Suga. But he wants to go on this coffee date—is it a date?—nonetheless.
“Who’re you texting?” Makki asks, hooking his chin over Oikawa’s shoulder to peer at his phone.
Oikawa locks his phone home screen before Makki can see his text back—Sounds like fun—and drops his phone with his water bottle and other things. “No one. Let’s get back to the game. You were about to lose, if I remember correctly.”
“You wish, Captain.”
After the game—when they’ve worn themselves out, they’re sweaty and exhausted, and they’re done cleaning up the gym—Oikawa tells the others to go on without him, and he goes to meet Suga at a coffee shop in the opposite direction from home. He would have liked to shower and change first, but the game ran later than expected and if they’re going to go on a walk he’s just going to get sweaty all over again.
“Share your location with me,” Iwaizumi says, just before they part ways. Oikawa gives him a thumbs up and turns the corner, Iwaizumi calling after him, “Make good choices, prettyboy!”
Oikawa rolls his eyes, glancing behind him to shoot Iwaizumi one last grin. “Always do, Mom!”
Iwaizumi looks like he wants to yell something else at him, but Matsukawa puts a hand on his shoulder and shoves him to the front of the trio as they walk away and any words are lost. Oikawa dutifully shares his location with Iwaizumi and then starts walking to the coffee shop Suga had recommended.
Suga is already there, sitting at a table by the window, by the time that Oikawa gets inside and orders his coffee. He’s staring at his phone, and when Oikawa walks behind him to sit at the other side of the table, he catches a glimpse of Suga spinning a Pokéstop by the café.
“You really are obsessed with that game, aren’t you?”
Suga blinks, looking up as Oikawa sits down. His mouth curves up in a smile and Oikawa feels warm all over. “Nice to see you as well, Oikawa. And I mean, yeah. It’s fun. It’s a good motivator to get out of the house on days when I don’t have school.”
“Fair enough.” Oikawa takes a sip of his coffee, instantly making a face when it burns his tongue. “Shit, that’s hot.”
Suga snorts. “You’re not a very patient person, are you?”
“Guess we’re both learning a lot about each other.”
“Oh, I don’t know, based on the way you were trying to get the Pidgey, I could’ve guessed.” Suga smiles at him, wide and with all his teeth. “So, why do you play the game if you don’t like it?”
Oikawa laughs at that. “It’s not that I don’t like it, it’s more that I’m not good at it yet. I’ll get better soon enough.”
“Awfully confident in that.”
“Well, I was promised a good teacher, wasn’t I?”
Suga snorts. “I guess I should get on that, shouldn’t I?”
“I’m definitely not stopping you,” Oikawa says. “You want to go on that walk?”
“Sounds like fun,” Suga says. “There’s a gym not far from here. Bet I can help get you your first win.”
Oikawa stands up, grinning. “Let’s do it.”

Hiya! This is my update post for my Pokémon Trainer OC with help from my amazing friend @lazy-charlie
I now have an offical ref photo of her and with the ref I wanted to make a post to share more info about her.
And maybe some point in the future her Pokémon Team will have references too!
((i accidently deleted the original post whoops lmao)) here it is again!
Tumblr media
First Name: Natasha
Last name: BSoD
Age: 19
Height: 6′0
Gender: She/Her
Sexuality: Pan Ace
Tumblr media
A Young woman who was born with albinism in the Alola region she wanted to grow up to be a Pokémon trainer like every other kid does usually but no Pokémon besides Eevee and Porygon had ever caught her interest.
Until one day at the age of 10 while in the local library she discovered a very dusty and old book about myths and legends in the Kanto and first saw Missingno on one of the pages immediately she had stary eyes and felt truly excited about a type of Pokémon.
From then on she asked around but no one in her home really knew anything which disappointed her but she didn’t give up starting from there she’d spend alot of her time on her computer doing all the research she could on what Missingno is and soon discovered.
Tumblr media
The Glitch Type although not much was known about this elusive type of Pokémon all signs pointed to the region of Kanto the home of Lavender Town of course she was still too young to travel on her own so for the time she stayed home stayed in school and trained with her Moms Pokémon.
And at the age of 16 she finally managed to convince her Mom to let her travel to Kanto as long as she promised to visit on holidays which of course Natasha agreed todo.
She took a plane ride there and began to explore the region using all the research she had dug up thru old books or online to track down her beloved glitches.
It took a few months of searching but soon she convinced a trainer to let her borrow their gyarados with surf for a few hours and she used this opportunity to surf along the eastern coastline.
And she finally caught one! A Missingno her first offical team member and from then on over the course of the next few years she caught the rest of her team which consists of Missingno , Shiny Missingno , Ghost ,    pPKMNp’ , ‘M and O
Of course even after completing her team she is still on the hunt for Glitch Pokémon wanting to become a researcher who studies and create a new Pokédex just for them much like the Unown have their own Pokédex.
She’s always been seen as intimidating and scary to most people who have met her all expect her mother but she’s a total nerd once you get to know her and very friendly despite how she might act towards strangers due to her own anxiety
also it might seem like she has sharp teeth but she just wears fake vampire fangs because she feels it adds to her aesthetic and sometimes just forgets their there and due to her Pokémon team Sometimes it appears she herself might be glitching but she’s perfectly safe/fine.
you can sort of tell which Pokémon she’s gonna send out based on the pokeball she holds each are distorted in a way that represents the Pokémon inside.
Tumblr media
This is all the information I have on her so far but I’d love to continue expanding on her and if you have any thoughts or questions please don’t be afraid to ask! after all questions help expand her story and character! thank you for reading!

I don't have fic to post today so you get just some silly Nemona x Juliana shippy headcanons
Juliana feeling really shy and giving Nemona a Luvdisc on Valentine's Day as a gesture to confess her feelings and Nemona just being kind of confused and slightly disappointed because Luvdisc is a really weak pokemon and not viable in battles but she's polite about it anyway bc it's a gift and she loves her friend
Juliana trying again and giving her an Applin which Nemona gets more excited about but still doesn't understand it's A Message
Juliana giving her a Swoobat but that doesn't work either
Juliana capturing Unown and giving Nemona a full team of six that spell out "I LOVE U" and Nemona is just like "huh, that's a lot of Unown, thanks?"
Juliana [internally]: @&*$
Juliana finally confessing properly and Nemona is like "OH . . ." and she is overwhelmed and asks if it was ok if she spent some time thinking about it and Juliana says yes, of course, it's totally fine no matter what you think, I just wanted you to know
And Nemona has never thought about, like, any sort of romance stuff before (she thought maybe she was ace or somethin, dunno, just never appealed before) but. The more she thinks about it the more she realizes wait okay I. Have been feeling about my best friend in certain rather intense ways that I hadn't really put a label to. But now. That I think about it, hmm . . .
And comes to a Realization but is freaking out because now she doesn't know how to say it. And she arrives at Arven's dorm room and is like YOU GOTTA HELP ME
Arven, somewhat bemused, "just tell her you like her back! why are you freaking out, you already know she feels the same!"
"but it's not that easy aaaaa I'm not good at discussing FEELINGS"
Arven, "Oh my god. Do you want me to tell her?"
"Oh my gosh, would you?!"
"I was JOKING!"
"oh" she looks sad
"Nemona, be serious. I don't think you really want me to be the one to tell her, do you?"
she sighs "I guess not, yeah."
anyway she eventually works up the nerve to go and tell juliana and she's SO nervous so at first juliana assumes she's nervous about rejecting her and jules is like "it's ok, nemona, I know what you're gonna say, you don't have to feel bad about rejecting me I understand, we'll still be friends I promise" and nemona starts replying to just the first part "oh thank goodness I don't need to say it," and jules is like "I might need to uh. take some time though to . get over it" and nemona is like "WAIT, reject you?! no no no no, I didn't-- that's not what I was gonna say!" and she finally spits it out and they are. both such blushing messes over it.
"what. do we do now."
"dunno, can I hug you?"
"of course silly"
and juliana is like
"I am totally fine with going at whatever speed you are comfortable with, I am happy just being w/ you"
And Nemona agrees and is like 'okay thank you yeah I think I'm good with taking it a bit slow, this is pretty new to me' and jules is like 'yeah, totally, we can go at your own pace' but then after they hug Nemona is just like
"can I kiss you"
"o-oh! that. pace sure picked up!"
"sorry, sorry!"
"no, no, I-- I wasn't complaining!" and she laughs and they kiss

Love the teams you picked especial grimora, but can you explain mags? I don't see the similarities there honestly
he's a psychic type specialist, they are all psychic types :) keep in mind the teams i posted are what i imagine their Elite 4 teams are like, im sure he has smeargles but they arent on his competitive team LOL
psychics are fitting for him because they both generally share precognitive powers (Mags can sense the future with his eye(s)) and are typically are seen as the mysterious, magical, and/or Scary pokemon with their power to break minds
Xatu straightup can foresee the future, particularly the terrible events to come:
Tumblr media
honestly i picked Rabsca because it looks like an old man pondering an orb. very wizardly pokemon
Tumblr media
Espathra has magic powers it gets from its big ol eyes (has a shitty+murderous attitude much like himself)
Tumblr media
SIGIL- lyph. sigil pokemon. mags is obsessed with sigils, and he'd totally have some weird ancient pokemon to study
Tumblr media
alakazam... i mean its called alakazam. its another wizard pokemon. mega evo is an old man. has a MASSIVE IQ to match his own
Tumblr media Tumblr media
scream tail - honestly the weakest link, but i gave all the other scrybes a paradox pokemon and wanted him to have one as well, this one was the only psychic type that wasnt a legendary (wouldve loved to give him a futuristic one but alas). but its not as if he wouldnt be interested in owning a paradox to study, so whatever
other psychics he'd own on his team are Musharna, Unown, galarian Slowking, and Hatterene. and Mew but he doesnt tell anyone :)

Hi, can I ask 2 questions about the tagged pokemon thing? I don't really know a lot about the conservation and research field.
1. What is the best way to tell if a pokemon is tagged beforehand?
2. What should you do if a tagged pokemon starts following you? Asking because that is how I got my vulpix and I figure it must happen sometimes.
Sincerely, Aurora (@unown-history)
Yes! i love when people ask questions, it's always better to be informed. Plus i suppose answering questions IS a part of my job as a professor :)
So, on smaller pokemon, we try to use Collar GPS tags when possible. It's the least invasive sort of tag and the easiest for humans to spot as well! These are usually Black, White, or Orange depending on what we feel will be most visible (or honestly what we have sometimes, funding isn't always the best.) Here's a stantler that we caught on a trail cam just outside the city:
Tumblr media
For Bigger where collars arent really possible pokemon we Usually do ear or spike tags, these pierce all the way through and are secured on either side, Brokehorn has one of these in his ear, though it was obscured in the photo. they work like this :
Tumblr media
They're usually paired with regular plastic tags to make them more visible but we know that's not always enough, wich is why it's only illegal to not immediately release a tagged pokemon rather than to catch one in the first place.
Tiny pokemon who can't wear the collars is where it's harder to finagle. We basically just tape them on with brightly colored, pokemon safe tape, and usually mark another spot with the tape as well. These types of tags need changed more often though so it is a pain (and you loose more of them...)
Tumblr media
For your second question! If a Tagged pokemon starts following you, report it to a local ranger! Theres a good chance that if the pokemon is deemed too human socialized it'll be removed from the tag program, and possibly pulled from the wild if it seems like it could be a threat to people. If this happens anf you're interested in them as a partner, talk to a local ranger and they should be able to guide your next steps.

Here’s a simple ask. Banette!reader x FNF Lullaby Poképasta trainers? Also, the reader has killed multiple people in the past in incredibly gruesome ways but is friendly with the Poképasta trainers because why not? They also like to hoard plush dolls and they’re also extremely powerful.
Oop my pokepasta interest is finally creeping back in-
.........
Glitchy Red
You’re just like him fr: being so full of hatred and wishing harm on those who abandoned you. But you go beyond maiming--instead murdering them via voodoo dolls.
When you cross paths with Glitchy, you wonder if he’s really a Pokémon himself bc of his impressive Scary Face.
But even though he’s (sorta) human, you actually end up befriending him bc he’s not a typical trainer. He “haunts” a game and seems cool. Plus he empathizes with you on multiple levels.
“I get it. The feeling of no longer being useful...of being thrown away once you can’t offer them anything more. Must be hard for you, huh?”
“Hmmm...Nette!” You offer him a Gengar plushie, smiling.
Alongside making voodoo dolls of your worst enemies, you loved to collect regular plush Pokémon dolls, ensuring none were ever left behind like you were.
Glitchy just blinks, before barely smiling at the gesture. "...that’s actually kinda cute. Who did you murder for that?”
Grey
Was honestly scared shitless upon meeting you. You just showed up while he was walking through some tall grass and nearly gave the poor kid a heart attack.
He’s still getting used to seeing Pokémon irl since they were all broken/messy glitches/nonexistent back in his game, but he did know the reputation Banettes had.
Tries throwing a pokeball to catch you, only to be flabbergasted when you intercept it and look at him annoyed.
But you notice that he’s not just some dumb trainer who signed his own death certificate..because he’s been dead for quite a while (albeit in a weird state of limbo since he’s free from the game, but not exactly who he used to be).
So you befriend him, though Grey is still very much wary around you despite Shinto immediately warming up to you and sharing your adoration for plushies.
You give him a Snorlax plush for him to hug and hold onto whenever his anxiety gets the best of him. You just wanted him to see you’re not totally evil.
He thinks it’s haunted 100% but doesn’t wanna tell you that, fearing you’ll be offended.
Gold
Immediately believed you were going to harm his Unowns and tried to “Scary Face” you away from his realm.
But you weren’t fazed, and when they reacted violently, you dodged all of their Hidden Power attacks before managing to reason with the doomed trainer.
You can tell he was in a great deal of pain, abandoned and forgotten as you were, so you showed him some sympathy, reassuring him you’re not here to hurt anyone.
With your expertise in stitching, you closed up his wounds and took care not to accidentally use your powers near his Unowns.
Oh and you definitely let him lean against one of your bigger Pokémon plushies. It’s cute seeing him cuddle up to them and feel safe for once in his existence.
It certainly seemed out of character to not wanna harm this kid when you’ve killed so many trainers like him in the past..
Yet seeing Gold’s dilemma struck a pin into your cold heart.
Steven
He looks menacing on the surface, but you saw his softer side after offering him a Charizard plushie.
Usually he’s not one to accept gifts, though...he just couldn’t refuse yours. Even if it resembled what Miki used to be.
Speaking of whom, she adores you a lot! You’re just as cruel and unforgiving as her while in battle.
She’d never think to combat you, though, as you’ve made her trainer happy and wouldn’t wanna chase you off.
Ofc, there might be some quarrels over who gets more attention from him considering she’s his ace, but it’s a friendly rivalry.
Steven lets you stick around while you endlessly roam Kanto together, not stopping you if you wanna lash out at some poor trainers who insulted him when he grieved Miki or accused him of murdering Mike (despite it being true and you knowing this, too).
He can’t stand to have any other Pokémon on his team besides Miki, though you’re an exception.

Twin Dragon AU: Hoard Heist!
This is the story about how bumbling Team Rocket manages to steal from our favorite train-loving dragon brothers, and live to tell the tale.
Our story begins with a psychic who works for Team Rocket. Her psychic power is to ask questions about the present and past with a Scrabble-like board that uses Unown tiles in place of letters; she gets three questions at a time, and of course, all answers are exactly correct but potentially misleading. Also, she sometimes wakes up to random predictions on the board; this is the only way she can tell the future.
One day, the board tells her that by midnight of the day after tomorrow, if Jessie, James, and Meowth do not rob the richest dragon hoard in Unova, doom will fall upon Team Rocket.
So the psychic contacts the team, and lets them ask her three questions. After thinking it over, the trio asks, and the board answers,
(Since these are Unown tiles, there’s no period and no capitalization; questions are asked with ? and answers end with ! Also, spaces are represented by blank tiles).
“where is the richest dragon hoard in the world?”
“the nimbasa city subway!”
The trio are shocked, because they’d already extensively explored the subway for a heist, and they never say any sign of dragon treasure. The psychic asserts that the tiles never lie. So they proceed with,
“how do we find the treasure in the hoard?”
“go to any operational subway station descend escalator or elevator purchase ticket proceed through turnstile!”
So now the trio concludes that the treasure must be in the stations rather than the tunnels, and feel arrogant enough to ask the last question,
“how much money is the hoard worth?”
“seventy three billion five hundred four million twenty seven thousand one hundred eighty Pokédollars and twenty two cents!”
($73,504,027,180.22, for better processing. Yes, I know Pokédollars are approximately yen, but Unova’s like America and cents feel more exact.)
So now Team Rocket’s interest is piqued, so they immediately set out for Nimbasa City. Wherever they are, they arrive the morning of the fated day; they have less than sixteen hours to find and steal Unova’s richest dragon hoard.
First, they disguise themselves as subway janitors, and the infiltration goes fine at first, until--
“I am Emmet. You will stop.”
Emmet inherited Reshiram’s ability to sense lies, and that includes disguises. I think he’d be fine with cosplayers and people wearing Halloween costumes because that’s pretending rather than lying, but he instantly spots these three dripping dirty water all over the floor.
Team Rocket turns around and sees Subway Boss Emmet, one of the strongest trainers in Unova, looking and feeling rather... dangerous. Now, Team Rocket’s met Legendaries before, and they know what that subtle, gentle, but persistent pressure means (keep in mind that they’ve always stayed a fair distance away from the Subway Bosses in the anime). They’re terrified, uncomfortably warm, and almost ready to Smokescreen their way out, until...
“You are not allowed to disguise yourself as subway staff. Please go home and change.”
Emmet can sense lies, but he can’t see through them. Lots of people pass through Gear Station in disguise; spies, private detectives, celebrities who don’t want to be recognized; heck, Elesa almost never boards the subway without covering her face. The Subway Bosses are okay with this as long as nobody starts anything on the trains, but they put their foot down on people disguising themselves as Depot Agents. It’s a safety hazard; what if there’s an accident, and the faux Depot Agents can’t do their job? After too many fake janitors (who refuse to clean up messes) show up, this turns into a blanket ban on anyone who works in the subway.
In other words, following in the tradition of no one ever being able to see through Team Rocket’s disguises, they manage to fool the local Dragon God of Truth.
So Team Rocket exit the subway, change into tourist costumes, and then enter the subway again.
As stated above, the advice for finding the treasure boils down to, “go to any train platform,” so Team Rocket deduces that the treasure must be split between each station. Rather than concluding that they only need to rob one station, they decide to rob them all, so they spend the day travelling between stations, mapping them out and looking for potential trapdoors.
Hours of fruitless but earnest searching later, our intrepid band of thieves are checking out an elevator on a deserted platform, wondering if it hides a trapdoor underneath the car, when--
“BRAVO!”
They attract the attention of the other terrifying dragon god in the vicinity. To make things scarier, this is post-Legends Ingo, which means that he spent the past few years learning to mask his presence. None of them notice him until the second he opens his mouth.
So here they are, in a deserted platform, alone with another one of the other strongest trainers in Unova, who looks distinctly unhappy to see them, pressure like the building of an inevitable thunderstorm, all while the lights in the station begin to flicker and flash--
“Your Ideals, I see how they burn so brightly within!”
Few are as determined as Team Rocket. Years upon years of failure, and they never give up. Zekrom, Dragon God of Ideals, can sense their determination, a beacon even to trainers on the Battle Subway, and decided to say hello.
Ingo earnestly tells them to never give up and to make their Ideals a reality, all the while oblivious to what said Ideals actually are. Then he has to leave and do Subway Boss things.
This pep talk lifts Team Rocket’s spirits, and once he leaves, they steal a wrench from a convenient supply closet and dismantle the elevator. Alas, no trapdoor.
Hours pass, midnight fast approaches, and Team Rocket is no closer to finding any gold or jewels. They ride the trains with the same burning determination, right up until they happen to sit next to an accountant trying to finish up her work before midnight. James is bored enough to peek at her screen.
Then he screams.
The accountant is startled, and confused when James asks what she’s working on. She says she’s analyzing the Nimbasa City Subway’s financial report, and almost hurts herself in confusion when James screams again.
Jessie yells at him to stop, and James simply points at the screen.
“Assets (trains): 73,504,027,180.22″
$73,504,027,180.22. Exactly what the psychic told them.
The trains are the treasure. The entire subway is the hoard.
(Am I highballing this? Lowballing this? I tried looking at balance sheets for the New York City Subway, but it doesn’t seem to specify the total value of the trains).
Team Rocket now has thirty-three minutes to figure out how to steal an entire train from the hoard, and whether it’s a good idea to rob what they now realize are a pair of dragon gods. Then they realize that even if they don’t steal a whole train, they can steal part of a train. So they find a convenient toolbox near the front of the car and help themselves to a screwdriver...
Seventeen minutes later, a Depot Agent comes out to yell at the crazy tourists trying to take home an entire train seat/bench as a souvenir, and kicks them out.
The clock strikes midnight on Team Rocket as they dismally walk through the streets of Nimbasa City. Jessie is furious, blames the other two for dooming Team Rocket, Meowth snaps back, and they get into a tussle.
And then during the fight, a little metal thing clangs quietly to the sidewalk, and Team Rocket stops.
A screwdriver fells out of James’s pocket. A printed label taped to the handle proclaims it to be, “Nimbasa City Subway, Train 189, Car 5.”
Then a monkey wrench falls out of Jessie’s bag, labelled, “Nimbasa City Subway, Summit Station.”
They report that they have stolen something from the dragon hoard, so they definitely fulfilled the prophecy, right?
Their superiors don’t put too much stock in psychics or prophecies. What’s more relevant to them are those two strange Subway Bosses, and how these three seem to think that they’re Legendaries...
To be continued?
(Probably not. Sounds too serious for me.)

By the way, the ‘doom’ the psychic prophesized was basically a domino effect rather than the direct result of our trio not stealing anything.
At some point in the future, Team Rocket (the whole organization) would have tried a second mass robbery in Nimbasa City, once again involving the subway. This time, the Subway was prepared, and they completely wreck Team Rocket. Several key members are arrested, a ton of expensive equipment is destroyed, and morale is at a low.
Thanks to our lovely trio suspecting that the Subway Bosses are Legendaries in disguise, other members of Team Rocket investigated and discovered that it’s an open secret in Nimbasa City. After the Mewtwo fiasco, Giovanni knows to steer clear of Legendaries. So he orders everyone to stay clear of the Nimbasa City Subway.
Is it necessary for Team Rocket to steal anything, though? Could they have walked out of there completely empty-handed, but knowing that the Subway Bosses were Legendaries in disguise? Maybe they only report successful thefts, or their superiors only read reports on successful thefts? Hypotheticals are fun.

Note
i love unown ?
like why does it look at you like that
Tumblr media
That is actually an evolutionary adaptation! The "bored" look helps differentiate punctuation from letters, which means that no matter the language an Unown is used to using, they can tell that they are punctuation! Isn't that awesome‽

Chapter 26: The Ladies of Charm
Tumblr media
Wait, that's not...! Who says we're trying to make enemies?! D:<
Also yeah, I know my title is bland... but I couldn't think of anything better.
Let's just dive right in, shall we?
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Lovely? Team Charm?! I thought this was Team Raider!
But, alright, humor me. Who is who, here?
Tumblr media
Does this look like Mega Charizard X? Those ears are maybe 6 inches long at best.
Tumblr media
...I want to laugh, but I'd feel like a jerk. Still, considering Gardevoir's reputation with, um, the fans (*awkward coughing*), I cannot think of a worse replacement for her 😔
Tumblr media
A rock creature being a fluid, dynamic dancer? Rampardos, thy name is irony.
This is, uh, quite the line-up 😅
Eventually, the guildmaster hears all the hubbub and makes an appearance!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Is this really that surprising? Totodile's a legendary Guildmaster, Team Charm are legendary treasure hunters... Yeah, the world's big and all, but it doesn't feel improbable they wouldn't have met at some point.
(Can you tell I have Cinemasins on in the background while I write this?)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The power of friendship, obviously. You just said so yourself!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Everyone, but especially Team Charm:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
*one Perfect Apple bribe later*
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
*a bunch of cartoon crashing noises later*
Tumblr media Tumblr media
So if the key is Unown-shaped... There's 28 different possibilities, right? Which form do you think it is? Cast your votes now!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Classic Wigglytu- I mean, Totodile!
Tumblr media
Then they departed, never to be seen again, and that's the end of the chapter.
...Naaaaaah, of course not. You know what to do.

🌟 about pokemon trainer/researcher jude?
🌟 Drop one of my characters’ names in my inbox and I’ll tell you 10 facts about them
Tumblr media
he has a piplup (not only because of the matching colour scheme with him, since pengyon jude in berseria is real) who eventually evolves into empoleon later (aka by the time when trainer!jude evolves into researcher!jude)
it's the same story with his chansey (assigned to him when he first enrolled in his medical classes) -> blissey! like him, she's happy to heal and help whoever they come across during their travels. and later, blissey is mainly looking after the overworking jude (in both the field and lab)
like xillia canon™ as usual, jude was just doing his best in school (and wasn't even a pkmn trainer because studying to be a doctor™) until his life got turned upside down by a mysterious woman who "wields the legendary power of the four in order to save pkmn and humanity" ... not the elite four
very loving and caring towards pkmn (to the point where people suggest he open a pkmn daycare) due to his personality/skills/knowledge learned at school, still knows martial arts (without an 'e'), had to get gym badges, fight and help shadow pkmn, opposing cipher (or organizations like it, imagine team exodus), and eventually runs into a different(?) shadow lugia, who's being used by a terrorist group and attacks the luxury liner he finds himself on...
as his pkmn team gets stronger like him, jude in battle is now "looks like a marshmallow and is a marshmallow but can also kick your ass if needed"
Tumblr media
predictably, his pkmn enjoy battles more than he does, and jude feels guilty for taking your ₽ dollars after winning (it's ok you don't have to pay him-)
visited the ruins of alph, helped the researchers there, and some unowns decided to secretly tag along with him after he left [insert his shock when they first spell out j-u-d-e, f-r-i-e-n-d ✨] generally very curious, affectionate with him, and love playing pranks! but they're also really clumsy. they will tip over his coffee mug... rip
on the other hand, jude's gyarados will volunteer to end you if you even look at jude the wrong way 💢 such a pissed off but protective nature is due to jude caring for him when he was a derpy and sick magikarp (who couldn't even splash that great, pokedex entry scientists hate him). after jude nursed him back to health, the two of them became friends. gyarados eventually decides that any trusted friends of jude may offer their pets on the head, but only once per day [insert loud dragon purring noises]
later (after helping the world not end etc), jude refocuses to research many things- all in order to create a better world for pkmn and people, especially the poorly understood shadow pkmn, which he studies in order to help them. he also becomes one of the youngest pkmn professors
his latest arc probably involves him and the elusive shadow ho-oh and/or shadow lugia still, needing to find them, help/purify them, as well as to set them free from the clutches of the evil organization/its remnants

*rattles my little metal cup* spare lost silver gold headcanons for your take on him?
THE SKRUNGLOOO
Tumblr media
🩶 He communicates through the Unown!
🩶 Contrary to what Monochrome Perish remix could lead you to believe, he gets along with the Unown fairly well!
🩶 His biggest tragedy in losing his limbs is that he can't cook for himself anymore! :(
🩶 He loved making himself sandwiches and making his pokemon poffins, but now he can't do that and it makes him very sad!
🩶 He can make limbs for himself out of Unown, but it's a rare thing due to how much energy it takes the Unown to stay together for so long.
🩶 He has named. EACH. AND EVERY. SINGLE. UNOWN. HE KNOWS. ALL OF THEM.
🩶 Glitchy Red: Ayo I think Missy just gave me the death glare,,,
🩶 Lost Silver/Gold: THAT'S ARTHUR YOU TWAT.
🩶 He's super protective of his Unowns! They helped him gain the form he has now and he sorta thanks them for it!
🩶 He can take care of himself(He's figured out how to open jars on his own), but he finds himself asking either Glitchy Red or Steven to make him a sandwich if he ever wants to eat something.
🩶 He doesn't HAVE to eat, but it helps him feel normal and happy, so everyone allows it :)
🩶 If anyone makes him a PB & J sandwich, he becomes the Autism creature and just spells out "Yippee!" with the Unown!
🩶 He can reattach and detach his head from his body, but he only detaches under great stress.
🩶 If he stops communicating with Unown but stares dead-on at you, chances are he's gone non-verbal and is trying to tell you.
🩶 If someone says they're going to Mount Silver around him, he'll start panicking and speaking through the Unown, saying things like "DON'T GO", "STAY HERE", "DANGER", "FROSTBITE", things like that.
🩶 Will sometimes hum a slower and softer of monochrome to the Unown to help them fall asleep!
🩶 He can't talk much, as it hurts him, but when he does, everyone listens intently! It could be important!
🩶 He has/had a hyperfixation on psychic pokemon! The others listen as best they can, even if all he talks about is Unown facts!
🩶 He sometimes acts as a protector for any younger pokepastas if needed!
🩶 If anyone threatens any of the younger pokepastas, Gold is instantly on it, siccing as many Unown as he can on whoever threatened them.
Hope ya enjoy!

//ooc: hey!!! i had some interactions and posts planned for the book fair that i couldn't post in the actual time-frame because i was busy, so i'll be doing a few posts retroactively! they'll be tagged with #retroactive to differentiate between anything that happens before theo hops on the plane home tomorrow.
feel free to respond to and interact with this post! theo would be happy to talk about unown.
[A video is embedded! It starts with Celeste the Cleffa uncomfortably close to the camera, waving into it before reaching down to show that he's standing atop one Widget the Porygon, floating in midair. the camera flips around to show Theo onstage at the book fair, Yogurt the Unown-Y out of their Pokéball, floating in front of him. People and Pokémon can be seen and heard all around him, though a small spot on stage has been cleared for his presentation. Theo takes out a piece of paper from his pocket, unfolds it, and begins talking to the few people around him.
"Hi, there! I'm Theo, and I'm here to talk to you about Unown! Behind you we have Celeste and Widget, my wonderful film crew! Feel free to say hi after the speech, they love to meet people. Before you we have Yogurt the Unown, the subject of my presentation.
The name 'Unown' is very on the nose, since, well, there's a lot we don't know about them! Most people will see one at one point in their life, but they're very rare to catch, and it's basically unheard of to catch more than one. Because of that, there's not much info available on them, and there are a lot of rumors and myths about them. I'm here to clear some of those up and give you some tips, should you ever catch one myself! I'm no researcher, though. Yogurt here just... flew in through the window one day, and I have no clue why! Everything I'm going to tell you is either existing research or things I've found out firsthand.
It's pretty obvious that Yogurt here is shaped like the letter Y, but not all Unown are shaped like this! There are Unown shaped like every letter of the alphabet, and a few have been observed matching letters in other languages' alphabets! Nobody knows which came first, the Unown or the letters.
Yogurt, like many Psychic-types, can read your minds! In fact, they're reading my mind and yours as we speak, and they can even communicate back, putting images and even (very briefly) emotions into your head! They don't eat or drink like us, but they seem to find sustenance from words! Thought, spoken, or written, an Unown flourishes when it can feed off of words and withers without them. That's why they really love it here! People talking, people thinking, and so, SO many written words make a book fair like this basically paradise for an Unown.
Unown aren't great battlers, really. They've only been observed to learn one move, Hidden Power, and they're not very physically capable. However, if they come together, they can be incredibly powerful, more so than any Legendary or Mythical Pokémon! They've been around since ancient times, and they'll probably exist long after us. They don't breed like other Pokémon, and it's up for debate whether they even reproduce at all or if the same Unown have been around since the dawn of time.
In summary, Unown are very rare and unlike almost every other Pokémon we know of. They're common in places where they can find words, and they know your deepest, darkest, secrets! Don't worry, they won't tell.
That's it from me, but feel free to come over and meet Yogurt and the rest of my team! Thanks for listening!"
As soon as Theo finishes speaking, Celeste drops the phone. It falls down towards the ground as Theo runs towards it and the video cuts out just before impact!]
