Callum "Savannah" Ngo-Boyd and his pal, Fred "Buddy" Patine, a couple of Ungrateful Lancers
Together, they are a License 12 character I made for fun on COMP/CON
Fred never takes off his Caliban armor, this is definitely because of trauma and not because he is the Enlightenment-Class NHP granted by Technophile. That would be silly.

I call this one That Doesn't Seem Physically Possible.
So fun fact: Ferrous Lash doesn't require that your target be in sensors. It has a flat range. That flat range happens to be 8, and you can punch someone 9 spaces away with a charged D/D 288 because we put Supermassive on it.
What this means is that you can prime your D/D 288 and use your other action to Ferrous Lash an enemy straight into your mech, where they will fall prone. The next turn, you can punch them so hard they see the face of god, knock them 9 spaces in the direction you punched them, all of which you travel with them due to the Caliban's Pursue Prey trait.
Your charged D/D 288 does a minimum of 13 damage (14 if you're in the Danger Zone) with a potential maximum of 38 damage (44 if you're in the Danger Zone), but I think that might actually be the least interesting thing about this build.

people like associating the Caliban with Doom Music
that's fine and all, but I'd like to propose an alternative:

The Caliban may come pre-loaded with The Only Thing They Fear Is You, but the Tokugawa comes standard with either Danger Zone or your choice of Mecha Anime theme song

Bored Lancer, Caliban owner, and part-time software engineer here: what do y'all think would happen if I tried to run Doom (the classic Cradle-era first-person shooter) on a Balor or Gorgon? (Yes, I managed to get it running on my Caliban, and yes, it is neat.)
I have examples of both of those mechs sitting in my team's shared hangar bay, and we're between deployments, so we've got nothing better to do with them at the moment. Figured I'd ask here before doing, and all that.
>caliban pilot
>software engineer
lord RA...
anyway yea so we code doom into all of our pattern groups, whether or not it can run it is one of the first field tests we perform. the gorgon is probably running version of doom you cant even comprehend at this point

Do you think putting Atlas parts on the Caliban would be in any way viable, or is it just random weebery?
Oh no, dude, it's super viable. Set up your Atlaban right and it has absurd manoeuvrability.

I call this build "Doomguy Samurai."
With the correct terrain, you can move across half of the battlefield in a single turn and smack someone in the face with your sword, which has innate Knockback regardless of stance due to Supermassive Mod. If you're going to do this, you might as well turn off the safety limiters to make it Knockback 2 and stay in Troll Stance the entire time, since Inaccurate is a binary state and only applies once no matter how many sources a weapon has it from. The Accuracy from Duelist negates the Difficulty anyway.
With Evasion 12, 2 Armor and 20 HP, this mech is pretty tanky. NPCs whose attacks have innate difficulty will struggle to hit this mech, and NPCs with low-damage weapons will struggle to hurt it.
